A/N: Hi, for some reason, when I open my stories in my story tab it comes up with an error, because of this I could not upload this chapter. Still, hope you enjoy the chapter. Sorry about the wait

"Haha, poor Vatra:) this has quickly became one of my favourite stories on this site, please keep up the good work:) HAPPY NEW YEAR:)"

A bit late but you too :D.

Ahri flits her weary eyes open, adjusting her eyes to the sunlight of the room. She yawns and stretches her arms to the roof, her fluffy tails also stretching. Her gaze lowers down the Vatra's sleeping body. Insisting on it, Vatra opted to sleep on the floor.

Ahri reminisces in last night's events with a smile.

"No! I am not sleeping on that Ahri." Vatra said to her sternly.

"But this is the room I usually book, and besides, it is also cheaper." She replied with a playful smile, her tails curled and waved in the tense air.

"No way. I am sleeping on the floor." He mumbled as he walked over to the wardrobes, hoping to find any sort of mat.

"Really? But the floor is so hard, and cold, sleep up here with me." Ahri tempted as Vatra rummaged around the room.

"Still sleeping on the floor." He said in a monotone voice

"Hey… I'll even let you have your way with me…" Ahri said in a sultry voice as she twirled her black hair.

"Shut up"

"Aww so mean" Ahri responded in a mocking voice.

Vatra laid on the floor facing away from Ahri.

Ahri chuckles to herself

"So, how was sleeping on the floor hmm?" She giggles.

"Great…" Vatra moans as he futilely tries to massage his sore back, flinching in pain.

Vatra turns around before making a sudden shrieking noise from the top of his lungs, shifting back a few centimetres.

"What?" Ahri asks plainly.

"Put some clothes on!" he shouts

"Oh, you like what you see hmm?" Asks Ahri in a seductive voice, pushing her chest out forward and poking out her tongue.

"Just put your clothes on Ahri." Vatra says in a quieter, disappointed voice.

The tone of his voice hurts Ahri slightly on the inside, the familiar feeling of being hated creeps into the back of her mind again.

"Hey…" Ahri asks with a sad voice, her tails now drooping against the bed.

"Hmm?"

"Do you… hate me too?"

Vatra suddenly stands up and hugs her in a warm embrace, ignoring her lack of clothes.

"No, no, no, I don't hate you." He hushes. "It is because I want to help you, it makes me feel bad when everyone talks behind your back."

"I am doing this because I lo-… care for you"

Ahri returns the hug, his skin cold from sleeping without a duvet.

Ahri and Vatra stroll along the cobblestone streets of Demacia, the street filled with people and chatter.

"Anywhere in particular you want to go Ahri?" Vatra asks suddenly.

"Hmm, let's do some shopping first, you're paying of course!" Ahri nudges him, poking out her tongue.

"Oh no…" Vatra mumbles to himself.

"H…hey Ahri?" Vatra asks while trying to hold onto the piles and piles of clothing that Ahri has bought. "Don't you think this is enough?"

"Haha, of course not! By the way, do you think this will look good on me?"

"Everything looks good on you! Don't you think these are enough already?" Vatra gestures toward the clothes he is holding.

"Aww you think everything looks good on me?" Ahri teases, avoiding Vatra's question. "Play your cards right and you might just seduce me, haha."

Vatra audibly groans.

"Fine." Ahri mumbles to herself.

She places her last item of clothing on the counter with a smile.

"That's fifty gold please." The man behind the counter squeaks, awestruck by Ahri's beauty.

Ahri opens a brown pouch.

"Oh, luckily I just have enough to pay for that."

As they walk out of the store Ahri hands back the pouch to Vatra.

"Why are you giving me your gold?" He asks quizzically

"Because it is yours of course!" Ahri exclaims with a giggle.

Vatra freezes.

"T…that's a whole month of savings just spent…"

The pair walk along the expensive boutiques, while Ahri is marvelling at the dresses on display, Vatra's mood is completely dampened.

"Aww come on" Ahri cheers, "I will definitely pay you back… one day, maybe."

Vatra mumbles to himself.

Ahri looks as him with concern.

"Come with me to that park over there, it will be quieter there." Ahri says seriously.

Once they reach the park Ahri invites Vatra to take a seat. They both stare at the ground awkwardly, until Ahri musters up the courage to speak up.

"U…um, about your gold… I didn't mean to use all of it and I could have…" Ahri fumbles her words trying to apologise to Vatra, this is one of the first times Ahri has ever tried apologise to someone. "I… I guess what I really mean is, is that I am sorry."

Vatra is a friend that Ahri doesn't want to lose.

He looks at her dumfounded, his mouth slightly ajar.

"It's no problem." Vatra replies after a few lingering seconds

Ahri smiles a wide grin, Vatra smiles soon after.

"But, that was all the money I had, I had other plans here but I can't really do them anymore."

"Sorry!" Ahri squeals again, shutting her eyes.

"Haha, I told you already that I forgive you." He chuckles, patting her head and stroking her ears.

Ahri purrs under his touch, most people touch her like a human, having her pointed fox ears stroked is something completely new to her.

Vatra quickly shoots is hand back from her reaction. Scared he did something wrong.

"Keep going, I like it."

"Oh, well uh okay." Vatra agrees after scanning the park for any spectators.

Vatra unrolls a mat on the floor of the hotel room again, whistling to himself.

Smoothing out her tails and feeling lonely, Ahri looks up at him.

"Still don't want to sleep with me tonight?"

"Yeah."

"Not even if I do this?"

Ahri kneels on her knees and hands, wiggling her rear at him, her tails fanning upward.

"Or this?"

Ahri then rolls on her back and spreads her legs.

Vatra shakes his head.

"Please? It is lonely by myself up here." Ahri begs with her puppy dog eyes.

"Fine, but no funny business okay?" Vatra caves in.

Ahri nods as she makes circles in the sheets with her delicate fingers.

He sighs as he lays down on the bed.

Ahri rolls over to him and rests herself against him.

"What did I tell you?" He asks, slightly annoyed.

"But you are warm." Ahri purrs. "Don't you trust me?"

Vatra rolls his eyes.

"Oh, I think you already know this but I sleep naked." She says in a plain voice, stripping off her clothes underneath the blanket and tossing them away.
