previously on Broken Family

- Charlie's Dad, Paul has entered Summer Bay
- Charlie started packing to leave
- Heath suffered a concussion and a rock was thrown into the house with a threat
- Casey and Ruby broke up

"Charlie, wait please just talk to me" Brax desperately tried to get Charlie to talk as she got in the car she paused what she was doing and looked at him in sadness "1:00 pm i call you" she closed the window, Brax started to bang on the window and yell, he was heartbroken that he couldn't convince her to stay and to see her that upset
she drove away leaving Brax speechless.

(the next day)

Heath was awake lying on the hospital bed staring at the white ceiling.
Brax entered the room looking worried, "what" Heath asked with no emotion to it.
"its uh... nothing, how are you doing"
"im fine, tell me what did i miss"
"Charlie she left" Brax said obviously upset about it.
"what why would she do that, or what did you do?"
"nothing, her dad is in Summer Bay, he's not a nice guy so she left"

silence lingered the room, wanting to change the subject Heath asked "have you seen Trent yet, they uh wont let me see him"
Brax could see the worry in Heath's face,"no, i haven't"
he had been so torn up about Charlie that he completely forgot about Trent.

the silence returned.
Heath could see that Brax was only thinking about Charlie right now, "fix it"
"what" Brax asked confused
"make Charlie's dad leave and maybe she will come back"
as soon as Heath said that a smile came on Brax's face, he realized that he should of been doing that in the first place not being miserable.

"will you be okay, if i left, ill come back tonight okay?"
"yeah go get her back bro" Heath smiled as he watched his brother run out of the room with a huge smile on his face which is really rare for him to have.

(half an hour later)

Brax entered the house, "anyone home" no answer called back.
he smiled then ran over to the table and waited for the phone call.

12:58, 12:59, 1:00.

the phone started to ring, but it was a private number.
"hello Charlie are you okay, where are you?" Brax was desperate for answers
"im fine, how are you, how is Ruby"
"she's fine, im fine, baby i miss you so much" Brax started to have tears run down his face, a side of him he never shows.
"i miss you too"
"baby, im going to get rid of him, i going to make sure he leaves, but if i do that you have to promise me something"
no answer from Charlie.
"Baby i said you have to to promise me something" Brax yelled with sadness to his voice
"what is it?""
"come back"
"i love you" Charlie said then hung up.
"i love you too" Brax said quietly to himself as he switched his phone off

Casey came running in the house.
"Brax" noticing he was upset
"im fine, what's up?"
"i need some advice, but ill come back later"
"no, come here what's wrong?"
"it's Ruby, she um she is upset with me because i wont move in with her, so she broke up with me"
"maybe there is more to it, anyway you guys could just move in the flat next door"
"are you serious"
"yeah, but you should give her a complementary present"
"like what" Casey asked
"flowers, necklace, a ring?" Brax suggested
Casey smiled.

Casey P.O.V

I was walking on the beach thinking of Ruby, why was she acting like this?, Brax was probably right there must be something more to it.
Just as I was getting lost in thought he noticed Ruby walking along the beach holding her shoes, her long brown hair in a high bun and her long skirt swaying in the wind. She looked beautiful.

"Ruby" i called out for her, she turned around noticing it was me she kept walking in a faster pace now, luckily I'am a fast runner and i caught up to her, "Ruby, please just look at me hear what I have to say" she slowed down and faced me waiting for me to talk.

"You, Ruby are the most beautiful person i know, memorizing eyes, beautiful smile and you mean the world to me and I am so sorry i have been thinking about what you said and maybe we should move in together but then I realized that what was i so worried about its not like im going to love another girl like you again"

she began to smile and gave me a hug i swung her around landing her feet on the ground I kissed her.

" wait there's more" I bent down on one knee and pulled out a ring, "will you marry me"
