Normal POV

Lady Morbucks held her stomach as Maggie happily brought Lunch to her room on a tray. It was the ugliest soup, brownish liquid...with leftover peelings of string peas, squash, potatoes, and Brussels sprouts.

"I can't eat this disgusting piece of filth! I demand you send it back at once!"

"I'm sorry M'Lady but Belle said this will have you on your feet in no time."

Bubbles knocked on the door and peeked into the room, "Mommy, some man is here to see you." She said.

"Just send him away, good grief, I'm in disposed!" She growled at the sight her lunch.

"But Mom, he said it was important."

Lady Morbucks' jumped out of bed, grabbing a blanket to wrap around herself she quickly went down the stairs and towards the door, holding a pouch full of money, just as she expected the Royal Attendant from the Castle was there, looking around nervously.

"Good...I'm a little disappointed that you didn't give news about the Ball ahead of time...but What news about the Crown Prince?"

"Well, the engagement to Princess Sophie has been cancelled for now but if he doesn't find a Bride by Midnight its back on, not just for him but for all the Princes. Almost he's going to have another game but this time with Prince Brick tomorrow."

"Only three weeks, if only there was some way to get close enough to the family...I'm sure tons of girls have already invited him to come to their homes. Now...for your job," She opened the pouch and begin to drop a few coins in his hands, "I would like to know his movements, his plans, and anything else...even the Queen's movements."

"Well there is a Circus coming to the castle court yard and the King is going to surprise his Queen with an audience with them...and a few nobles are invited."

Lady Morbucks smiled as she dropped more coins into his hand, "Now there you go...I'm depending on you to help us get a personal and close encounter with the Queen." Lady Morbucks bows and quickly closes the door as the Attendant bows and leaves. Bubbles was spying behind a wall, not exactly sure what happened.

Lady Morbucks went back upstairs to Duchess' room, despite her being sick, she was throwing her dresses all over the floor, trying to find a proper dress as Lady Morbucks was telling her of the news about Butch's next game.

"I just hope this illness will be gone by tomorrow...Now I just need a dress that'll make an impression on him."

"Why not this green dress, Butch's favorite color?" Lady Morbucks asked.

"Mother, I need something that will make me stand out, a hundred girls are going to wear green.

"Good point, but I do have some news, it seems...we are going to the Circus and I'm going to get a dance instructor as well...now I'm going to tell your sister."

Lady Morbucks strolled down to Princess' room and gave her the good news, she stopped into Lord Morbucks study.

Buttercup's POV

Now it makes sense...I thought she wanted to send me here because she suspected Belle and didn't want anything from her cousin, Blossom...but now I see...I growled in fury at this...but I took a deep breath...I have to keep myself under control or else my magic will go crazy. It was very hard to swallow it down. Where Belle or Brianna, she could at least disobey and be here, Danny would dare mess with her too much.

"If you will excuse me, I have some shit to do." I was about to run off but he stood in my way again, "Listen if you think I forgive you for hurting-"

"Oh Buttercup, I'm so sorry, you must understand..M'lady..I've never been so hot for you...you're a fox."

"Well my baby brother and sister have fox ears, so I guess I'm related to foxes. Now move it." I was finally able to get past that creep. I had to get out of this town as soon as I can. I had no allies out here...no one to help me. I wasn't scared of Danny, just what he would do. A serf didn't have that many rights as we had rules, like we could never hit our superior noble class. If I ever hit Danny, I would walk right into a trap...Lady Morbucks would have to trade or sell me to him for the harm I caused him... And...and...it wouldn't be good...Dad would kill him.

I've heard rumors and gossip...don't get me wrong...I don't do it, I didn't believe in that bull shit but Mom was always careful to listen...she said that rumors and gossip may not always be true but they didn't just pop out of thin air. I heard that...maidservants had been known to get pregnant and abandoned by their Lords and Masters...I think the only noble who didn't do it was the King himself...but he is a decent King, trying so hard to help the people, I at least paid attention to that. The King was a good man, my Dad respected him...especially on the no wrestling law, he only did that because he didn't want the lower class to be hurt. No magic among the Lower Class was forbidden as well...that I couldn't understand why. It would be so much easier to use magic and stuff.

My mind drifted back to the Prince as I heard the shops talking about that damn ball. I was looking around now, Lady Morbucks is not getting a damn thing but how did she know? About Danny.

It was probably Bubbles, knowing her she probably just blurted it out without even thinking. I can't be mad at all...for too long. It's already harsh enough that she has to deal with her mom and sisters, why doesn't Lady Morbucks or Cousin Morbucks doesn't think Bubbles pretty, she was prettier than her sisters? She could get...get his attention if she wanted to.

"Butch."

I sighed...again...why did I feel so sad about this...Just why? I looked up...Clint Town was a little closer to the Castle...instead of just the top...I could actually see the windows...the stone...It was actually funny...there was a gentle breeze.

I begin to spin around...don't think about it...life is pretty good, I just have to keep my head up high...it's ok if he loves someone else...we wouldn't be good together...no way. He doesn't know a hard day's work.

A Fauna vendor with the ears and nose of a dog gave me a flower as everyone else around me was clapping, I had no idea...that I was singing so loud...I felt so stupid and embarrassed but I bowed.

"A Lovely flower, for a lovely Creature." The Vendor bowed as I grabbed the flower...Buttercups, "They were brought in from Flora."

"Oh...thanks." Just as I was buying some seeds for the summer, Danny showed up again. I walked away, still trying to find something that would cheer Brianna up and possibly the Twins.

"Buttercup, you really should look at this, a dress." He hang it over my body as if imagining what I would look like in a green frilly maiden gown but I pushed it away.

"Damn it, just leave me alone before I-" I had my fist balled up, Danny grabbed a hold of my hand and put it to his face.

"Before you what my Love, my Slender elegant fox." He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and was resting his chin on my neck, "Oh my, for a dirty serf, you always seem to smell delicious...Cinnamon...such spicy sweetness." My spine was shivering as he inhaled right by my ears. Fang bit him...right on the nose. I backed away and started laughing, as Fang was hanging on his nose, still biting it.

"Fang! Let go! You might get his jerkiness on you!" I pulled Fang off his nose and was holding the little kitten as he was ready for round 2, "Now you better get lost before I let him go on you!"

Danny was holding his nose, "My Love...You need to train that monster to learn how to obey its superiors."

"He does obey...but you're scum...so that's why he attacks." I was holding Fang, as he was swapping in the air for another chance to draw blood.

"I wouldn't be so snobby if I was you. I've been hearing things...about your Dad."

I stopped right in my tracks, and turned to look at him, but I laughed it off, "Oh my...really, like what?"

"Oh nothing...just that he might be back to old 'habits'."

I think my heart just stopped, but I cleared my throat, "Listen Danny...I have no idea what you're talking-"

"You know feel well...sleeping during the day, really-"

"What the hell?"

"I'm just saying, become my woman and I'll pay your family's freedom...and your dad won't have to...ya know."

I had to think of something...anything...

I begin to whisper,"No I don't know...and I think you don't either, it's true...My Pop has been...drinking...but I don't want the whole town to know. People have a lot of respect for him and I don't want anyone to know ok. He's just a little upset with my mom's death and all...you tell anyone and you're dead you hear. I'll...I'll beat you and then get Belle on you." I was trying to be as convincing as possible but I was shaking on the inside.

Please just buy it...just buy it...stupid,

Danny just paled as I lifted my fist in his face.

He smiled,"You wouldn't dare, you know what that would mean, the Morbucks would give you to mean in a heart beat and you'll be all mines."

Like Hell I will

"You're right, I wouldn't...you're not worth my time, but Belle isn't a serf...she's not bound by any rules...her and Blossom will beat you for me." I hated it, I felt like I needed help but I did...I was trapped...and I would never give him the hope of trapping me in that nightmare of a manor, Blossom and Belle were my only chance. If they beat him up, Blossom has a pretty bad temper when it comes to it...they wouldn't get into trouble. What could his Lordship or Danny do to them? Healing Maidens couldn't be made into serfs...with the plague around...they were protected pretty much and Belle...they wouldn't dare.

Danny crossed his arms in defeat, and my heart was finally moving again at the shock. I was just about to walk away But he grabbed me by the arm.

"Now...I came all this way here for you, I at least deserve something...Maybe a kiss."

I snatched my arm back, and pushed him away but he was grabbing me and pulling me between the shops, "You just tried to black mail me, if you don't leave me the hell alone...knock it off."

The Fauna Vendor pulled him off of me, "That is enough."

"Get your hands off of me you filthy animal," Danny turns around and slaps him in the face and the man whimpered like a dog, "You will learn your place, Fauna."

"Bastard!" I kicked him in the shins and punched him in the face and he just fell to the ground and I froze in terror.

What have I done? My life was over, I did exactly what he wanted me to do. Lady Morbucks will sell me to him without a second thought.

Now, what's going on here?" I heard a familiar voice, and I turned around...to see that Sliver hair guy, he still looked like a girl...why does he look familiar?
