A/N: Hello readers! sorry about the long wait, I had ( and still have) a whole bunch of homework and tests during this week so I was busy.
For those people who have been asking for that lemon, it is next chapter, get keen :D
Also, this will probably be the last non lemon chapter in this story, which I guess makes this the last chapter, I am however considering writing an epilogue for them ~300-500 words, tel me what you think.
Enjoy the story!
"And varta gives birth to child with ahri to make it up to her? :D"
Pretty much lol
"I WUV IT! It's amazing how you've changed my perspective of a very popular character such as Ahri into something I've never thought about. I love what you've been doing up to now and I hope I don't see any signs of stopping! Thanks for making my night!"
thanks for reading.
"hmmm. i'm not sure how i feel about the outcome of this chapter. the only things i can imagine now are either both sulk and they have a broken friendship, or Vatra seeks out Ahri, and comforts her. regardless, well written chapter."
close
"Naw I won't skip the sex scene it's bound to happen I was just noting sex isn't the main focus of the story which makes yours stand out from all the rest and why I like reading and keeping up with it."
Thanks :D
"GIMME A SHOUTOUT! :D"
SHOUT OUT TO YOU! :D
Ahri stays seated on an idle seat inside the institute, her knees tucked in to her chest, her arms hiding Ahri's quivering lower lip, she watches as summoners and champions alike pass her without even batting an eye. She spots a small group of summoners, in the group are some of the summoners that usually follow her around. One of them happen to catch Ahri's gaze, instinctively, AHri angles and smiles, giving him a seductive wink. However, he turns his head and continues off with the other summoners, still sour about how she had left them for Vatra.
"What!?" She almost gasps aloud
The feeling of loneliness creeps back to Ahri once she settles back down.
"I want Vatra back…" She whispers to herself
Ahri pulls her knees back closer to herself, her tails sweeping around her ankles and wrapping her, feebly trying to shield her from the outside world.
"I guess… I really am alone."
Days pass, Ahri sits alone with no hope in sight. Every day having to either curl herself up in a ball at a bench outside or in her room in complete darkness. Every night spent either sulking or silently crying.
She looks up at the people passing by her, one of them is Lux and a small group of female summoners. Lux's eyes turn to Ahri's limp body. She simply made a playful smile at her, mocking Ahri.
"Bitch…" She mutters under her breath as they walk off.
Time passes as Ahri stays in her position, considering whether she should head back to her room or not. She then spots Ezreal walking briskly. Before he spots her, she unfurls her tails and rubs her eyes, wanting to know more about his relationship with Sona.
Ezreal spots her and walks toward him.
Ahri puts on her usual façade and opens her mouth to speak, flattening out her tails.
"Hey blondie, did you get bored of Sona already?" She greets.
Before she says anything else, Ezreal speaks.
"No I didn't Ahri" Ezreal says calmly but rather irritably. "Anyway could you tell me if you have seen this before?"
Ezreal hands Ahri a small square piece of paper, drawn on it is a picture of an intricate amulet.
Ahri flutters her eyes closed for a few seconds, she thinks back to when she was a fox, blurry memories of a red amulet similar to the one drawn on the weathered paper she was given, she remembers seeing it being held by a silhouette.
"I have." She replies.
"That's great!" Says Ezreal with excitement.
"But that was back when I was a fox, I don't remember much else."
"Oh, well thanks anyway." Ezreal says as he reaches for her hand and shakes it.
Ahri's thought flicker back to Lux and the summoners who have been sneering at her.
"Hey Ez… you don't hate me right?"
There is a pause before Ezreal speaks.
"I don't hate you, what makes you think that?" He replies.
"It's just that… never mind."
"Um alright them, I guess I will be going now, bye Ahri." Ezreal says before pacing off.
More time passes.
"I want, I want to go see Vatra again." She whispers to herself.
She slowly lifts her head up, no one is around. Her white ruffled tails straighten out. She stretches out her arms and legs before thinking about where Vatra would be.
"He might be competing in a match, I'll check there first." She thinks to herself.
As she walks her mind begins to wander, why is she so affected by Vatra? Why does he seem to be the one that makes her feel warm and loved?
Is it love?
Ahri shakes her head, that doesn't matter at the moment.
She peers into the spectator's room, Vatra is nowhere to be seen, in the match or in the audience. Ahri gently closes the wooden door and walks in a random direction.
"Where else could he be?" Ahri thinks to herself. "The auditorium? Maybe he is watching another concert."
Ahri skips off her feet to the Auditorium.
By the time she reaches the auditorium, the sun is already darkening to a mellow orange. She enters and paces toward the stage. Her speed comes to a slow when her eyes gaze upon the seats. No one is here.
"Where is he?" Ahri says out loud this time.
Ahri quickly runs back to the institute, wasting no time.
"Where could he be? Ahri asks herself, panting.
The roof of the institute rises from behind the scenery as she runs, ignoring everyone else's stares.
"Maybe he's up there? Ahri asks herself, a spark of hope welling up within her.
She barges through the main entrance and toward the stairs. Her extremely tired legs slowing down, her quick breaths loud. She trudges up the staircase, her tails being dragged along behind her. Once she reaches the top floor she travels along the carpeted hallways dodging and weaving between summoners. She eventually reaches the rickety old staircase and hops upward.
"Please be here…" Ahri pleads silently to herself.
She keeps her eyes looking down to the ground when she reaches the roof.
"Please be here" Ahri mouths.
She slowly opens her eyes. The area ahead of her is empty. Almost panicking, she scampers out to thoroughly search for him.
Hidden away is the slouched torso of Vatra, his tilted head looking towards the horizon.
"Hey." Ahri says in relief as she slowly walks up to him.
Vatra spins his head around, his mouth opening to speak
"Ahri I…"
"I'm sorry!" Ahri blurts out. "I didn't mean to do all that stuff it is just that I…"
Ahri's voice stutters as she tries to tell him the next few words.
"I… I… I love you." Ahri cries out, her eyes closing.
Her body pushes back as her lips meet with Vatra's, although it is awkward and an unexperienced kiss, Ahri smiles and returns it.
"I, I love you too, her stammers after his kiss."
Ahri giggles.
"Definitely a cutie" She thinks to herself.
Ahri gently pushes down Vatra by the chest using the tips of her fingers, both of them knowing what is coming next.
