~ I wanted to get this chapter up yesterday, but I didn't want to rush the ending of the chapter.

~ Do I really need to say how important the reviews are again? I want to reach 100 reviews on this story before the end of the season 3 events. That can easily be reached if there is 2-3 reviews on each chapter (counting this chapter). The more reviews, the quicker each chapter gets out.

~ There is a Kluna (Klaus+Luna) dream scene at the beginning of this chapter (: It's basically an alternate version of how I wanted the last chapter to end.

ENJOY!

Luna's POV

I was standing in front of Klaus, in his bedroom. I couldn't help but take a deep breath as he stepped closer to me, closing the gap between us. He looked in my eyes as he brought one of his hands up to the side of my face. Klaus brushed some hair behind my ear before slowly bringing his head closer to mine. I felt like I was frozen in my spot as his lips brushed on mine. When his lips fully touched mine, I felt the control leave my body. I brought my hand to the back of his neck, to hold him close to me. After what seemed like hours, he pulled away with a small smile. Instead of walking away, I pulled him closer so we could kiss again. This time, it went further. He quickly took off my jacket before we sped to his bed. He held me down and I couldn't help but look up at him before he laid his lips on mine again. We worked together to take off each other's shirts and then pants. I flipped him over so I was on top before kissing him on his neck. I found myself wanting to bite him, which was probably partly caused by not drinking any blood the whole day. My fangs were about to come down before he flipped the two of us over so he was back on top. He looked at me with an evil smile before he started kissing down my neck.
"You're so beautiful." Klaus whispered as I found myself hooking my ankles behind his back.
"I'm getting impatient Nik." I whispered before I noticed he was looking at me with another smile. I couldn't help but smile back before I pulled him closer for another kiss.

I opened my eyes and realized that I dreamt of Klaus. 'That makes two' I thought. It was easy to keep track of how many times I dreamt of him, even if I didn't want to.

After I left Klaus's house, I found the motel that my mom was staying at and stayed the night. I wasn't in the mood to go back to the boarding house because of what happened. There was also a part of me that thought if I went back there, I would be lying to Klaus. I thought that I might feel bad for lying to him and I didn't want to feel bad. 'What's happening to me?' I couldn't help but ask myself. A month ago I didn't want anything to do with Klaus and now I've been having dreams about him. It was a little frustrating, but with my mom and hanging out with Rebecca, it was easy to distract myself from those thoughts.
"Are you up?" I could hear my mom ask, which brought me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah." I said. "I'm just thinking."
"About what?" My mom asked.
"Nothing." I said, not knowing if I really wanted to talk about Klaus with my mom. "Mom?" I asked after a few minutes, not knowing if she was listening.
"What is it?"
"Do you think I'm a mistake?" I couldn't help but ask when Esther's words echoed in my head. My mom sat next to me and looked concerned.
"What makes you ask that?"
"It's just something that I heard last night."
"Luna..." My mom softly said to me as she took my hand "... you are not a mistake." I couldn't help but look towards her. "You are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, besides your father." I could feel tears gather in my eyes. "I know I left when you needed me, but I'm trying to make up for it." I couldn't help but give her a smile before hugging her.
"I love you mom." I said before I started to cry.
"I love you to Luna. You are my daughter and no matter what happens or what anyone says, you are one of the best people in the world."
"Now you're over-exaggerating." I couldn't help but say with a little laugh.
"I know." She said when I started to pull away. "It's my job. Now take a shower and we'll go to the Grill for breakfast." I gave her a small smile before I got up to take a shower.

My mom and I sat at a table while we had breakfast at the Grill. It felt good to have time with my mom again, even though it made me think of Klaus. It was easy to only focus on my mom, especially because of how it felt. The way my mom and I were getting along, it was like before I became a hybrid. It was one of the best feelings that I could have with everything that was going on.
"Is that Rebecca?" My mom asked, which made me look behind me to see Rebecca walking into the Grill.
"Yeah, that's her." I said before I turned back to my mom. 'She's my only friend' I couldn't help but think when last night flashed in my head.
"Hey Luna." I heard Rebecca say from behind me as she stepped up to our table.
"Hey." I said to her with a small smile as I took a sip from my glass.
"Can I talk to you?" She asked and I nodded my head. "It's about last night."
"I'll talk to you later Luna." My mom said, which sort of surprised me. "It seems important." I just gave my mom a small smile before she walked away. Rebecca sat down in her spot and started to explain about the white oak ash tree that grew after they burned down the original one.

I sat next to Rebecca at a different table while we waited for the mayor. I didn't want to die and if we were all linked then the only thing that could really kill me is if one of the Originals would be staked with a white oak stake. Rebecca thought that we could work together since we were in the same situation.
"Thank you for meeting with us, Mayor." Rebecca said to Tyler's mom after she sat down at the table. "I figured as head of the Preservation Society, you'd be a good person to ask about the oldest trees in this community."
"A long line of Lockwood women use to keep those records." Carol said as she held her cup. "Back before any of them had actual jobs." I couldn't help but smile a little.
"I've been to the Founder's archive, but I can't seem to find any record of the tree I'm looking for".
"It probably got cut down." Carol said to Rebecca as she took a sip from her glass. "Big old trees built half of this town in the 1900s." My eyes looked behind Carol which made me notice Damon walking in with Stefan.
"Oh, She-Devil at nine o'clock." I could hear Damon say to Stefan. I just rolled my eyes at them before making myself pay attention to the current situation.
"Do you happen to know who kept the milling ledges during that period?" I asked, hoping that I could distract myself from Damon and Stefan sitting at the bar.
"Back then all the logging mills were owned by the Salvatores." Carol said. "Great' I sarcastically thought before looking at them. I really didn't like them because of what happened, but I could fake it so they wouldn't try to kill me again. Rebecca and I looked at each other before I got up and started to walk towards the Salvatores.

As I walked towards them, I wasn't sure about faking my mood, but I didn't really want to be happy with them at the moment.
"Hey." I said as I sat down next to Damon."Surprised to see me?"
"I heard you were still walking around." Damon said as Stefan started to knock his ring finger on the bar.
"What's up with him?"
"Come on, knock it off." Damon said before he could answer my question. "You know, quitting blood cold turkey after a ripper binge might not be the best approach." He said as he looked towards his brother. "Every time you play that all or nothing game, you eventually leave a trail of bodies. So, I'm thinking, now is a good time to pay our old friend moderation a visit."
"They were all on the Founder's Council, Damon." Stefan said to Damon after pouring himself a drink. "That's what they all have in common."
"Who?" I asked because I didn't know who they were talking about.
"The victims of the mysterious serial killer of Mystic Falls." Damon said and I was surprised that he actually answered me. "But why them?" Damon asked when he looked back at Stefan. "Huh? Brian Walters and Alaric weren't from founding families. I mean, hey, if you're gonna slaughter council members, go A-list. At least in 1912 they killed a Salvatore."
"Which Salvatore would that be?" Rebecca asked from behind me as she joined us.

Damon started to tell us about when he was in Mystic Falls. I knew that he wasn't telling us everything, but I wasn't concerned about it at the moment.
"So, Zachariah Salvatore was your nephew?" I asked with some interest.
"Well, our father knocked up one of the maids during the Civil War, she had a son." Damon explained to me. "But as far as everyone else knew, Stefan and I were dead. Family name had to go somewhere."
"And, uh, your family owned the logging mills back then?" Rebecca asked Damon.
"You're full of a lot of questions."
"I'm just researching the town history." Rebecca said, semi-lying. "I grew up here after all."
"You know you don't have to disguise your true motives with ….., if you want more sex, just ask for it."
"Not enough liquor in the world." I couldn't help but smirk at Rebecca.
"Oh, come on, it was too good for you to be this hostile." Damon said as Rebecca grabbed a bottle that the bartender put in front of us.
"Are you bragging?" I asked Damon, which made him look towards me.
"Do you want to find out?" He asked and I hid back a smirk. I would be lying to myself if I said that I wasn't thinking about it. It could just be because I haven't had any in about six months, but it actually was tempting if he was being serious. Stefan grabbed a bottle that was on the bar and took a big gulp from it. "You'll have to excuse my little brother, he's jonesing for some O positive." Damon said to the two of us when we looked at Stefan.
"I'm not jonesing." Stefan said and I could tell by his tone that he was lying.
"So, did they ever catch the killer?" Rebecca asked, changing the subject.
"Nope." Damon said to her. "Wrote it all off on vampires."
"Maybe it was a vampire." Rebecca suggested.
"Yeah, yeah, maybe it was a vampire, Damon." Stefan said and I rolled my eyes.
"Don't think for a second you didn't cross my mind too, brother. But these weren't your style, were they? Plus there were no other vampires circulating then."
"Well, there was one other vampire. Remember Sage?" Stefan asked Damon.
"Ohh, right, Sage. Speaking of great sex." I rolled my eyes at Damon.
"I knew a Sage once." Rebecca said, which made me turn towards her. "Trashy little thing."
"You really think it was Sage who was killing all those founders back then?" Damon asked sort of ignoring Rebecca.
"Town questioned of a grown man in Mystic Falls. Probably never occurred to them that a woman could have done it." Stefan said and I looked back towards them.
"So, uh, tell me more about your old relatives." Rebecca asked and I knew that she wanted to know more about their past because of what the mayor told us. "I heard they tore down half the woods to build this town." The bartender put another bottle in front of us. Damon grabbed it as Rebecca started to reach for it.
"Easy there, lushy pants." Damon said to Rebecca "It's been a hoot and a half but it's boy's night and you two weren't invited." Damon glanced at me before going towards the dart boards with Stefan.

I couldn't help but look at Rebecca. She looked at me with some confusion.
"What?" She asked me.
"You're being too obvious." I said. "They're going to know you're looking for something and get suspicious." She looked at me with an entertained look before I got up and started in the Salvatore's direction.
"It's not that psycho, Dr. Fell." I could hear Damon say as I got closer to them. "She's a woman. There's no way she could stab three grown men." I caught the dart that he was throwing at the dartboard, which made him and Stefan look at me. I gave them a small smile before stabbing Damon with the dart.
"What were you saying about women?" I whispered before stepping away. He didn't answer me but I could hear him groan in pain when he took the dart out.
"A woman could easily kill a man, with the right motivation." Rebecca said, basically adding to what I said and I did.
"You just uh don't give up, do you?" Stefan asked Rebecca as I sat down next to him.
"Why are you so grumpy?" Rebecca asked Stefan.
"He's on a master cleanse." Damon said to me and Rebecca. "Trying to be a better man and all."
"You know, you were a lot more fun in the '20s." Rebecca said to Stefan and I glanced at him.
"Don't rile him up." Damon said to Rebecca as he nudged her with his elbow. "He's testy when he's being self-righteous."
"I'm not being self-righteous, Damon." Stefan said with irritation in his voice. "I'm just not interested in slaughtering innocent human beings anymore."
"Oh, okay, fair enough. My mistake." Damon said as he reached for a book. "You use to be self-righteous." He opened the book and started to read from it. "Dear diary, Damon has lost his way, though I have pulled my own life together he continues to waste his."
"Ouch." Rebecca said to Damon after taking it from him. "His bitterness consumes him. He is nothing but blackness and vile." She closed the book and looked at Stefan. "Oh, judgy."
"Well, this is fun." Stefan sarcastically said and I couldn't help but show a small smile. I wasn't saying much, but I was sort of having fun.
"You know, if I'm being honest, you didn't seem like much fun either, Damon." Rebecca said after Damon took the book from her.
"I wasn't." Damon said to Rebecca as I took a sip from Stefan's glass. "The woman I was in love with was stuck in a tomb and she wasn't getting out for a hundred years." I felt a little sad for Damon, but I tried not to show it. "I wasn't having any fun at all."

Damon talked about Sage and said that she was the one that made him enjoy being a vampire. I wasn't sure what I thought about Sage, since I never met her.
"That sounds like Sage alright." Rebecca said after Damon stopped talking.
"You knew her?" I asked and Rebecca nodded her head.
"She was obsessed with my brother Finn, over 900 years ago." Rebecca said.
"What? Creepy suicidal guy?" Damon said before Stefan started to bang his ring on the table. I gave him a glare, hoping he would stop... but he didn't. I closed my eyes and tried to take a deep breath to calm myself before I found myself breaking Stefan's hand. He groaned in pain, which made Rebecca and Damon look at me.
"What?" I asked them when I saw their expressions. "It was annoying." I could hear Stefan snap his hand back into place.
"You know what, I need to, uh, I gotta get out of here." Stefan said as he got up and grabbed his jacket.
"Sure." Damon said as he looked towards Stefan. "First, admit you're jonesing."
"Damon, I'm not…" Damon sped to Stefan before he could finish.
"Admit it." Damon said in Stefan's face.
"Okay, fine, I'm freaking out." Stefan said as he pushed Damon away. "I'm ready to eat the entire wait staff, why do you need to hear me say it?"
"Because I'm feeling a little self-righteous too."
"You self-righteous?" I let out a little chuckle.
"I can be." Damon said and I rolled my eyes because I didn't believe him. Stefan started to walk out of the Grill. When Damon started to follow Stefan out, Rebecca started to follow him out. I decided to go with them because I didn't want to sit in the Grill alone.

I walked next to Rebecca as we followed Stefan. It felt like we were stalking him because of our distance from him, but I was okay with it at the moment.
"Why doesn't he want to drink human blood?" I asked Damon, who was on the other side of Rebecca.
"He has an eternally guilty conscious."
"Funny. When I knew him in the 20s, he didn't have any conscious at all." Rebecca said as we continued to follow Stefan. "One of the things I liked most about it. Can't possibly think he can survive without feeding."
"Oh, on the contrary, he's determined to live his life pursuing one extreme or the other. He's a stubborn one, my brother." We stopped walking and I noticed a woman that was getting out of her car. "Uh, think I'm gonna need some help with this one." Damon said more towards Rebecca than me.
"What can I do?" Rebecca asked before Damon sped towards the woman.
I stood as I watched Damon and I wasn't sure if I wanted to find out what he was up to. Before I could decide what to do, I could smell blood. I looked at Damon and saw that he was biting the woman's neck. I could feel my hunger, which wasn't helped from the fact I haven't drank anything in a few days.
"Damon, stop!" Stefan yelled and pushed the woman away from Damon. Rebecca caught her so she wouldn't fall to the ground, but I could still smell the blood.
"Sorry brother." Damon said as Stefan looked at him. "It's dinner time, have a bite."
"What are you doing?" Stefan asked Damon and I knew that he was trying not to look at the blood. I was trying to do the same because I didn't want to lose control.
"Tough love, Stefan. You're not gonna survive this cold turkey thing, you never do. It's time to get that monkey off your back."
"No. No." I could tell that Stefan obviously didn't want to and was having a hard time controlling himself.
"Feed or I'll let Rebecca have her way with her. You know she'll kill her."
"You know I will." Rebecca said.
"Or Luna will take a bite." I could hear Damon say and I couldn't help but look at him. "It looks like she's ready to burst." I squinted my eyes at Damon, not wanting to open my mouth. There was a chance that if I opened my mouth, that I would go straight to the woman's neck. "Either way her blood will be on your hands. Or you could just have a little drink, save her life." Damon said as he stepped around Stefan and brushed some of the woman's hair away from the wound he made. "Come on, Stefan. You were the one that said you didn't want any more innocent lives slaughtered. Save her. Go on, have a bite. I snatched, you eat, I'll erase. Hell, I'll even heal her for you."
"Why are you doing this?" Stefan asked Damon. "You know what blood does to me."
"Because you let it control you." Damon said as I took a deep breath. "You always have. I'm just here to help you learn how to fight it."
"This is rubbish." Rebecca said and I could tell that she was about to bite the woman, but Stefan pushed her out of the way. In a few seconds, Stefan started to feed from the woman.
"I got it from here." Damon said to Rebecca. "Go ahead."
"The night's just getting started." Rebecca said and I thought that she was whining a little.
"Scram. No one likes lurkers." Damon glanced at me and I rolled my eyes.
"You're a real arse, you know?" Rebecca asked Damon.
"So I'm told." Damon said and Rebecca turned towards me. There was a flash of concern in her eyes before she started to walk away with me following her.

Rebecca and I ended up going to her house, where she gave me a blood bag. She was doing something and I was bored, so I decided to wander around the house. After a few minutes of walking, I found myself standing in Klaus's bedroom. It was the same, but I could tell that there was more drawings of me. I was actually glad that he wasn't in the same building. It gave me the freedom to actually do what I want without having to worry. There was so much in his room, but I kept looking at all his drawings. They looked professional. 'He's so good' I couldn't help but look at them before I started to feel tired. I could have gone to the boarding house, but I wasn't sure about it because of what has happened. There was also the hotel room where my mom was staying, but I would have to drive there and I wasn't really in the mood to drive. I found myself letting out a sigh before turning to Klaus's bed. It was soft from what I remember, but I wasn't sure about it. I knew that there were other beds, but his was the closest since I was in his room. 'What harm will one night do?' I asked myself before laying in his bed. I couldn't help but close my eyes before taking a deep breath. 'It smells like him' I found myself thinking. There was a part of me that liked it but it felt a little uncomfortable. That part was pushed down, mainly because I was tired. I took another deep breath to calm myself and to breath in his scent before slowly falling asleep.

~ I have almost the rest of the season 3 events planned, with the exception of a few things for 'Break On Through' and 'Before Sunset'.
- Break On Through is when Sage appears in present time and I don't exactly know how to fit Luna into that (between the fundraiser and burning the underbelly of the bridge... which is the party that Damon throws to get information from Rebecca)
- Before Sunset is when they try to put Evil Alaric down. I'm not sure if Evil Alaric should capture Luna (like he did with Caroline) or if Luna should help but him down with the others.

~ I have decided how to explain how/why Luna was affected along with the other Originals when Kol was daggered, but that will be explained in The Murder Of One.
~ I'm still not sure if I should continue the season 4 events under this story or under a new one. Please let me know your ideas.

~ I know that there are over 100 people following this story... which makes me question why I only get about 2-3 reviews a chapter (that aren't helpful). It's probably just me, but I think that with that amount of followers, that there should be more than that of reviews a chapter. Please, if you like the story please let me know by reviewing... I count those more than anything else. (That goes for all my current stories). Reviews give me muse to write.

~ I'm also thinking about making a Fanfiction on the Fifty Shade of Grey Trilogy. At the moment I don't know if it will be my first non-TVD fanfiction I post on here... but I might post the first chapter (when it's done) on the Facebook page for my fanfiction to see if anyone likes it. (The link for the Facebook page is on my profile on here.) I'm not even completely sure if I should do it because I don't want to ruin the trilogy (which explains why I don't want to work on my Doctor Who ideas).

R&R 'till the next update
