~ This might seem like a shorter chapter, but I hope you won't mind (:
~ There is a scene (maybe two) that are inspired by me watching True Blood. I've been trying to watch all the seasons. So far I'm only done with the first two seasons, but they have given me some ideas for not only with some of the scenes in this chapter, but also with possible future stories.

Guest (1): I'm not even thinking about the Spin-off because I'm trying to focus on the rest of season 3 and the first half of season 4. Once I get those out of the way, I'm going to think about the Spin-off. When it comes to Kluna, I'm not saying if they will end up together yet... because with what I have planned, you really won't find out until season 4. Then depending on how I end season 4 and how well it's reviewed, then I'll bring Luna into the Spin-off but at the moment it looks like I might bring her into it.

Arowana: I didn't originally plan for their kiss to happen in this chapter so I'm glad you liked it (: The Koluna scenes are sort of setting up for what I want to do with some of season 4... but I'm not going to say what they are because then it'll spoil the end of season 3. The comfort/fun/distraction might come in the form of my second favorite Original (: And of course knowing what happens in the episode, there will be some non-fun times. But the fun might spread into the beginning of the next chapter (:

Anna.B: I wanted to make sure that people knew that despite Luna hanging around the Originals and being a hybrid, she's nicer then them (unless you get on her bad side). I honestly didn't have their first kiss planned until (around) Before Sunset or The Departed. Koluna scenes will actually be a majority of this chapter, which hopefully will be brought up in season 4 and the season 3 finale. Especially with what happened, Luna will lean a little bit more towards Kol. Kol being his normal sarcastic self will happen (but a little bit more towards the end of the chapter). Hopefully I will be able to to Koluna in season 4, mainly because that's where I've wanted to go pretty much since the beginning. There will be a little twist though in the season 3 finale that Klaus won't find out about until pretty much a week after he gets back in his own body. I think even if I don't do a triangle with Damon (like half of my other stories) Luna might have a close friendship with him... depending if Kol gets killed or not. All I'm going to say Koluna in this chapter is that they may or may not end up in bed together and may or may not continue it into the beginning of the next chapter.

~ There is some General POV at the beginning of this chapter that sort of talks about Kluna (Klaus+Luna).

General POV

After what happened in Mystic Falls, Luna had to get away. She didn't want to be in the city because all she could think about were her mother and Klaus. The only reason her mom was in Mystic Falls was because of Klaus, but because of how she got linked with the Originals, she had to make sure her mom was safe. It was also to keep herself safe just incase something like that would happen again. Luna also wanted to get away from Klaus, hopefully to give herself time and space to think. It had only been a few days since their kiss and it was almost all Luna could think about. When she met Klaus for the first time, after he turned her, she wanted to get revenge on him for all the things he did to her. Klaus was the only person that she felt strong anger for, which made her ignore what she didn't have to go through once a month. After trying to avoid him and trying to keep her walls up around him, she felt him start to creep in. If you told Luna back when Tennessee or even when she was in Chicago, that she would have feelings for Klaus... she would say you're an idiot. If someone even mentioned Klaus around her now, she couldn't help but feel a little happy, even with what he has done to her. That's why she needed to be away from Mystic Falls for a while, maybe forever. Luna was going to eventually tell Klaus what she was feeling, but she decided not to after what she heard Klaus say to Rebecca the night Finn died. She knew that he felt something for her, but she didn't want to deal with what he had said. It was because of that night she decided to leave Mystic Falls and head to Denver, where she knew at least two people.

Luna's POV

I walked through the streets of Denver, looking for a place to eat. There was so many places, but I just couldn't decide on what to eat.
"What's a darling like you doing here?" I turned to see Kol standing behind me.
"Kol." He gave me a small smile. "I needed a change of scenery." I said as I shrugged my shoulders. "Denver seemed like a good place."
"It has nothing to do with me?"
"If you want to think that." I gave him a small smile before I started to walk away.
"You shouldn't be alone in a city like this." I heard Kol say as he walked up beside me.
"Why, got anything you want to show me?" I asked, even though I could probably figure it out. "Or are you just planning on stalking me?"
"I can't resist a pretty face." I found myself smiling. "And I'm pretty sure Nik doesn't know you're here."
"He doesn't need to know." I said, not wanting to talk about Klaus.
"Are you two having a little spat?"
"I don't want to talk about it." I almost shot at Kol.
"Well then care to accompany me to the batting cages? I'm meeting up with a friend."
"Then you owe me dinner."
"Is that a yes?" I rolled my eyes.
"Yes." I didn't have to look to know that Kol was smiling.

Kol and I walked towards the batting cages and the closer we got to them, the more I wanted to play baseball. I felt Kol slip his hand into mine, which made me shake him away. He chuckled before I could hear Damon and Elena's voices.
"Fine, fine, but can we do this later?" I heard Jeremy ask and I knew he saw Kol. "My friend just got here and yes, Damon, I actually have some. I'll call you when I'm done." Jeremy started to walk towards us and I noticed that Damon and Elena looked towards us.
"Hey man." Jeremy said to Kol as they gave each other a fist bump. "You're Luna, right?" I just nodded my head before looking at Elena.
"Damon, it's Kol!" She backed up behind Damon before Kol hit him with a bat. The bat that Kol hit Damon with broke into two pieces.
"What are you doing?!" Jeremy asked Kol, but I stayed back because I didn't want to get in the middle of it.
"Jeremy, get back! He's an Original." Elena said to him, but I just looked at Damon.
"What?" Jeremy asked and I could tell he didn't believe it.
"No hard feelings, mate. But we're not buds." Kol said to Jeremy as he grabbed a different bat from near him. "You know, I'll never get use to aluminum. But hey, at least it won't break." He was about to hit Damon with the bat, but Damon picked up one of the broken bat pieces and stabbed Kol through the heart. Kol fell face down onto the ground.
"Did you kill him?" Jeremy asked as Damon slowly stood up.
"Not this time." I said as I looked from Kol to Damon.
"It'll give us a head start." Damon said to Jeremy before looking at me. "I'll make sure he doesn't kill you." I said, even though I thought that Kol might want revenge on them. "Come on." Damon said to Jeremy before motioning him to with them.

After Damon, Elena, and Jeremy left, I bent down next to Kol. I took the broken bat from him and picked his body up. I easily held him in my arms, picked up the aluminum bat and carried him away from where anyone could see.

I managed to get Kol to a hotel room without anyone asking anything. They probably all thought that he was passed out drunk because of the way I was carrying him. After I got him to the hotel room, I stood near the window. I couldn't help but look out and let my mind wonder. My mind went through the kiss Klaus and I had, the ball, and everything that has happened since Tennessee. Almost every part of me wanted him, but I didn't want to be heartbroken if he would leave me.

General POV

Luna kept looking out the window, thinking about Klaus until she heard a soft groan. She looked towards the bed to see Kol recovering from what Damon did to him.
"Welcome back." Luna said, which made Kol look towards her. "I brought you to a hotel so no one would stumble over you or your bat." They both glanced towards the aluminum bat that Kol was using. It was just leaning against the wall, near the door.
"Why did you bring me here?" Kol asked with some curiosity.
"Because you owe me a dinner." Luna said, which made Kol give her a small smile.
"Is that the only reason?" He asked and Luna rolled her eyes.
"Pretty much." Luna said after taking a minute to pretend to think. Kol sped in front of Luna, which slightly surprised her. As Kol looked over Luna's face, she did the same to him. Their heads started to get closer to each other. Kol noticed this and quickly pressed his lips on Luna's. He knew it would piss off his brother, but he also wanted to do something with Luna more than just dinner. When he laid his eyes on her at the ball, she had captured his attention. When they pulled away, Luna looked at him with some surprise before kissing him. Luna's arms went around Kol's neck before he quickly sped them to the bed. His hands slowly slid underneath Luna's shirt as he touched her skin. He was about to take off her shirt when his phone rang. Luna groaned and laid down next to Kol as he answered his phone. As she kept quiet, Luna could tell that it was Klaus who called. When Kol looked towards her, she put her finger on her lips, signaling not to tell Klaus that she was there. Kol kept talking with his brother, but ended the call when he said he was in the mood for a red-head. Luna gave Kol a small smile, because she knew he meant her. He hung up, knowing that he would have to get to Mary's before Damon and Elena did. He knew that he would still have time to do something with Luna.
"Where were we?" Kol asked as he moved Luna back on top of him.
"I think you have to remind me." Luna playfully said, which made him smile. Kol started to kiss Luna before gently bringing his hands under her shirt, like he did before his brother called. Luna sat up on Kol and took of her shirt at the same time he took his off. She couldn't help but look down at him before touching his stomach. Her hands slowly moved up, rubbing his abs as she slowly brought her head next to his. Kol flipped her over and started to kiss her neck.
"Luna... you are lovely." He whispered in her ear as his hands started to roam towards Luna's waist.

Luna's POV

Kol and I went to a house were a vampire named Mary lived. He told me that the others were trying to find out what Original turned them so they knew who they couldn't kill. I didn't want any of them to die because I didn't see much of a difference between me and them. It probably has something to do with me having feelings for Klaus and having had sex with Kol, but I also saw Rebecca as a friend. I didn't know Elijah too much, but I didn't want him to die. When we got to Mary's house, I could tell that they didn't arrive yet. Kol was able to stake Mary against the wall and decided to sit and wait for them to arrive. I stood behind Kol, who was sitting on a chair holding the aluminum bat that he got from the batting cages earlier. I could hear someone walking and I figured that it was Damon and Elena. Out the corner of my eye, I noticed that Kol looked up at me. I knew he was silently telling me to be quiet before he hit the wall with the bat, which would have drawn the attention of Damon and Elena. Their footsteps got closer before the door opened. They didn't see us because we were in the dark behind them, even though they did have a flashlight.
"Mary." Damon said when Elena shined the flashlight on Mary's body.
"Quite contrary." Kol said as he turned on the lamp next to us, which made the both of them look towards us. Without seeing Kol's face, I had a feeling that Kol was smirking at them before they looked at me. I kept my expression neutral as Kol stood from the chair. "Shame about Mary, she used to be a blast. Don't quite know what happened. I fear all the time she spent with my family might have ruined her." I stopped myself from rolling my eyes. "She was a bit of an Original groupie. Like little Luna." Kol looked at me with a smirk.
"Get to the point Kol." I said, which made him chuckle.
"Were you her favorite?" Elena asked Kol and I knew she was meaning Mary.
"You mean, did I turn her?" Klaus asked Elena. "I think I did. But no, wait, maybe it was Rebecca. There was also a Klaus period. And let's not forget the Elijah affair. I spoke to my brother, I know you're trying to find out who you descended from. Now you never will. So, where did we leave off?" He looked at Damon before hitting him with the bat. Damon groaned as he fell to the floor.
"Elena, get out of here!" He yelled which made me notice Elena moving towards the door. I walked closer, but Kol sped in front of her.
"According to my brother, you're off limits." Kol said to Elena and I thought that he would have said I'm off limits to. 'Kol probably ignored it' I thought when earlier flashed in my head. "Please don't test me." Kol threw Elena to the ground but I knew she wasn't dead.
"Don't touch her." Damon said before speeding over to Kol and trying to choke him. Kol easily threw Damon to the ground and he landed a few feet from me.
"Oh dear, I've hit a nerve. Relax, darling, I just want us to be even." Kol said as he slowly walked around Damon. "You snapped my neck, you killed my brother, used Luna and then you humiliated me." I hid back a small smile, knowing that he wanted to get revenge for Damon using me to. 'Rebecca wanted to get revenge on Damon after I already did' I thought before Kol started to hit Damon with the bat.
"Kol." I said after he had hit Damon a few times. He stopped and looked at Damon.
"There, now we're even." Kol said before taking me and speeding us out of the house.

Kol brought us back to the hotel we were at before we went to Mary's. I quickly found ourselves back on the bed like we were before we left.
"What happened to dinner?" I asked when I felt his hands go under my shirt again.
"Oh darling, this is better than dinner." Kol whispered in my ear before taking my shirt off. "And we'll work up quite an appetite." I couldn't help but smirk at Kol.
"I already have one." I said with a smirk before kissing his neck. There was a part of me that felt guilty about having sex with Kol, but Klaus and I weren't even together. It was easy for me to distract my mind from those thoughts as Kol took of his shirt before he started to kiss my neck again.

~ I actually wanted a Koluna hook-up in this chapter, but it sort of evolved from what I originally thought. Klaus probably won't find out about until season 4 because with the rest of season 3, Luna won't tell him.
~ I'm thinking about having a nice Tyler/Luna friendship scene in the next chapter because it's the 1920's decade dance. There will also be obvious Kluna scenes that I actually can't wait to write. There might also be Stefan/Luna/Damon friendship scenes... but I haven't completely decided yet. And a scene with Rebecca (even though Esther will be possessing her). And a little bit of Koluna continuing from this chapter (:
