Kirasari is the child of the Fire Nation Admiral and Northern Water Tribe Chief's sister. Kira is unlike the other benders around her though, she has the unique ability to Bend Fire, Water, and Air. Believed to be touched by the spirits, she considered among the most powerful Benders in the world and is known as the Elementress, guardian of the Avatar, and now a runaway/fugitive.

So I have had a few people wondering if Kirasari is Royalty because of having Prince/General Iroh as her uncle.

Kirasari's father Admiral Katsu, is the younger brother of Iroh's wife. So Katsu's family has no blood relationship with Iroh and they are only family by marriage, making Kirasari and Zuko unrelated.

Kirasari's mother Shila is Royalty because of her older brother Chief Arnook and because of this, her children (mainly Kirasari) are considered untouchable and have a higher standing. So I wouldn't call Kirasari a Royal, but more of a Noble.
