Yume: Hey guys, we're back with the original story after the side chapters.
Ikuto: Finally!
Yume: Oh, shut up, like you even care if this story is going to be continued or not.
Ikuto: Well, at least I'm trying to sound like it.
Yume: …You're not doing well…
Ikuto: You know what, I don't care. Kawaineko-chan9 and Tagicheartbreak do not own anything.
[Recap]
[Rima POV]
I went to the door and opened it. I was shocked to see who it was. He wouldn't be here for no reason. After all Alden never sought help even when he or his sister were in were in trouble. And he looked out of breath, so clearly there was something really serious happening.
"Natsuki…is…in…big…trouble…" he told me, gasping for breath.
[Present]
[Still Rima POV]
"What do you mean she's in trouble? If she is, then why aren't you with her?" I asked irritated.
"Because she asked me to call upon you. She's in big trouble. There are two X-eggs and they are more powerful than the last ones we fought against." He said a bit more calmly now.
"Lead the way." I said then I turned to Ikuto.
"Are you coming with us?" I asked him, he just nodded.
Then he picked up his violin case, which I surprisingly didn't notice and something fell off of it.
"Hey I think something just fell off from your violin case." I said.
He looked down and noticed that indeed something did fall off. He picked it up and just now I noticed what it was…The Dumpty Key. So he keeps it with the second most important thing in his life. His father's violin. It used to be his first most important thing in the world, but all of that changed when he met Amu, I'm sure of it. I've seen how he looked at her, with the eyes of a man in love looking at his most treasured one in the world.
He placed it back around the handle of his violin case and made his way towards the door where Alden and I were standing.
"Come on, let's go." I said as I started leaving through the door.
Ikuto followed, but Alden stood still on his spot. Like he was frozen or something. He was also pale as a ghost.
"Alden, are you okay?" I asked and he seemed to snap out of his trance and turned to me with a small smile.
"Yes, now let's go help Natsuki." He said as he started leading the way to the park.
[Alden POV]
"Hey I think something just fell off from your violin case." Rima said to the mysterious boy with midnight blue hair and eyes to match.
I assume she knows him from somewhere, but where, I don't know.
Me and Natsuki started living with Rima after we came here to Japan.
At first it was because Natsuki wanted to get away from home. It didn't matter where, just somewhere else. So one night I saw her packing bags and asked where she was going and she says she wanted to run away. I said I'd come with her, but she refused, so I pushed on 'til she agreed. We went to the airport and I asked her where we are going and she just said we'll take the first flight that's on next. We looked at the board and it said Japan.
After a couple of weeks we encountered X-eggs. I offered that we try to stop them from doing wrongs so we fought them.
Natsuki figured out some move that purifies them.
Me and my sister aren't ordinary people. Like for instance, she is the legendary Embryo, but she doesn't know it, only I do. I am not even her biological brother; I was created to protect Natsuki, thus the name Alden (wise protector).
Creator told me a bit about the other Embryo which is supposedly in Japan, so I wasn't sure if we should come here.
My name was originally Alden Williams, but Natsuki wanted to change names so we did. Her original name was Liana (youthful guardian) Williams, but she didn't like it so she changed it to Natsuki (Summer) Yukimura (Snow). So I changed my name too, from Alden Williams to Alden Yukimura.
After two years of fighting off X-eggs and saving people Natsuki figured, with a little bit of help from me, that, X-eggs are actually people's heart's eggs that they were abandoned dreams. Then we didn't just fight them when we encountered them, then we went after them. One night when we were on our lookout for X-eggs we met the guardians. They were fighting against these people in black uniforms. Natsuki ran to them with the intention to help them and when she ran to them she touched their shoulders to see if they were okay and suddenly at her touch their Charanari outfits changed and they seemed to get a power up.
They were shocked at the sudden power that flowed into them, but let it slip for the time being.
When the battle ended, Natsuki fainted from exhaustion. I picked her up and was about to leave, when Rima offered for me to bring Natsuki at her house to rest for the night so I agreed.
After that the other people gathered at Rima's house and started a discussion on how many X-eggs they've cleansed so far and she was mortified by the count. She asked me whether Natsuki and I would join their team, but I refused. I agreed later when she offered to let us live in her house and feed us in exchange for our help. And that is the story how Natsuki and me live with Mashiro Rima.
Anyways back to the present.
The boy, or should I say man, seemed to have noticed the thing that has fallen off and when he picks it up I go pale. It was the Dumpty Key. I remember that Creator said something about the holder of the Dumpty Key being the other Embryo's lover and also that he is destined to die. I didn't like the sound of it. I can probably change his future and save him, but I don't know when this will happen. I must watch him closely.
I was snapped out of my thoughts as I heard Rima's voice.
"Alden, are you okay?" she asked me.
I gave her a small smile.
"Yes, now let's go help Natsuki." I said and started leading the way to the park.
[Ikuto POV]
The walk to the park was long and all along the way Rima and that guy, who looked completely gay, excuse my language, were talking about what was happening in detail.
At some point their conversation became hard to hear so I had to Chara change in order to hear what they were talking about. I was a bit rusty since I haven't used Yoru's powers in awhile.
"Natsuki and I were fighting against two X-Characters. They were extremely powerful." The guy said. I think his name was Alden?
"What? Two of them? That must be why Natsuki called for me and the others." Rima said with a surprised look on her face.
"No, that isn't the reason. She could handle two of them by herself, but these two…they were strange, no matter how much we attacked they would avoid the attacks and even if they hit them it didn't have any effect on them, we hardly scratched them. They on the other hand succeeded with every attack." Alden said.
"That's terrible. Let's hurry up before something bad happens to Natsuki." Rima said and they quickened their pace.
When we arrived there we saw nothing, then suddenly we heard a sound of explosion and ran in the direction it came from.
We saw two X-Characters and a girl with strawberry blond hair fighting.
Then the girl got thrown to a tree and Rima and Alden ran over to her and I followed them.
"Are you alright?" Alden asked the girl. She just nodded her head. Then Rima asked her what happened 'til now.
The girl filled her on briefly of the situation and how these stupid X-eggs would just restore themselves over and over again, no matter how much she attacked them.
"Alden, go get the others." Rima said as a conclusion to all that that girl just told her.
I expected him to move and go right away, but he did nothing, just stood there beside that girl. Then Rima rolled her eyes and the other blond sighed then stood up with a grunt and commanded Alden to go and get the others.
I thought he would just stay there frozen like he did when Rima commanded him, but this fellow immediately shot up and ran to get the others, whoever they are, without any questions asked.
Then Rima Character Transformed and I was in a state of shock to find she looked so much different then before. Her outfit looked more like one of a joker, but still had the skirt part. It was mainly purple, but also had blue and red.
She and Natsuki, I think, started to fight against the X-eggs. Rima had new moves, but the only names I was able to catch were Joker Rope and Joker Card.
Joker Card. That was Amu's position in the Guardians wasn't it? Oh how I miss her. But never mind that right now, I should also transform.
As said, so done.
I transformed with Yoru, but my transformation was different. It looked like a mixture of Death Rebel and Seven Seas Treasure. As a weapon I had two gloves with metal claws at the tip of the fingers (A.N.: Something like Freddy Krueger's glove). Strange, but I will leave it behind and help them out first, there's no time for me to be flabbergasted right now.
We fought, but I couldn't do much, for now I could only claw at them and it was hard getting good shots, but I was able to make a few.
After what seemed like forever Alden came running with people following behind.
Rima and Natsuki retreated and so did I. Then I was able to see all of them. There they were, Kukai, Kairi, Nagi and some girl I don't know. They were all transformed except for Alden. And once again I was taken aback by the change in their Charanari appearance.
Kukai didn't have any goggles on his head nor did he have a pilot's attire. He had gray pants with combat boots and for top he had a green T-shirt with a golden star on it and a leather jacket on.
Kairi was almost the same, though he didn't have a veil and the colors of his clothing were a bit darker.
Nagi was also almost the same, though instead of a beanie, he had a rapper hat and he looked more like a DJ than a basketball player.
Rima and Natsuki joined the other girl and all of them held hands. The guys doing the same with the exception of me and Alden.
"It's okay they will purify the X-eggs now." He told me.
"When Rima, Natsuki and Yushi join their powers together, they create Queen Fire. And when Kairi, Kukai and Nagi join their powers together they create Jack Fire. They are both purifying techniques that take a lot of energy." He said.
"I thought only Amu could purify X-eggs with her Humpty Lock." I muttered to myself.
"Amu?" he inquired.
"Yes, Amu, she is the holder of the Humpty Lock that matches my Dumpty Key." I said showing him my Dumpty Key.
"So, is she your lover?" he asked. He is quite blunt just like Rima.
"No, but I wish she was." I said then paused for a moment. "She was 11 when I left to look for my father I on the other hand was 17. I couldn't possibly date her, no matter how much I loved her, but now it's different, she is soon going to become 18 so I came back to Japan to find her." I said.
"That's very romantic you know, but if I were you, I wouldn't have left, I would've stayed here and I would remind her how much I love her every day." He said.
"At that time I wasn't sure whether she loved me or not and being the coward I am, I, instead of staying here and trying to make her fall in love with me, ran away, scared that I might get hurt again and that I might hurt her as well." I replied. Then there was silence and so I turned my head around to look at what the guys were doing.
Then a light engulfed both trios. The two X-eggs started burning in fire, one emitted red light, the other green.
Before I knew it, the X-eggs were purified.
The guys looked a bit tired, especially Rima and Natsuki. Then suddenly Natsuki collapsed, but Alden caught her before she fell to the ground.
"Don't worry this always happens after a long battle." Rima said.
"Fill me in later on the report. I have to go home." Said Kairi already taking his leave.
"Sorry I have to study for an exam." Says Kukai scratching the back of his head.
Nagi just leaves without saying a word.
That Yushi girl just stands there 'til Rima dismissed her.
Then Rima motions for us to follow her and we do.
*Time Skip*
*At Rima's house*
"Why were those X-Characters so big?" I asked.
"They've changed. It's like ever since 4 years ago they've kept on getting stronger and stronger. And of course stronger means harder to fight against. But we found out that once we combine our powers we can beat them. It drains us a lot though so it's not very effective if there are too many." Rima explained.
"Could there be any relation between Amu and the power up of X-eggs?" I inquired.
"Could be, but we're not sure. We had that same thought, but we still have no clues whatsoever, so we can't be sure." She answered.
"This is getting us nowhere. I will come by tomorrow as well and we'll talk about it again. It's getting quite late I should be getting home now." I said as I stood up.
Rima stood up as well and surprisingly so did Alden.
They sent me to the door and bid me good night.
On the way home I was thinking about the events today. From when I visited Amu's house to how I went about the whole town in search of where she'd went. Then to the new faces I met today. I have a lot to catch up to.
I am going to ask Rima to fill me in on the things that happened when I was away. I'm sure she wouldn't be pleased to my inquiry, but I must know what happened while I was gone. I will also have to ask her about these new transformations.
