Chapter Twenty One: Guys Fun VS Girls Fun

In Horseback Riding Arena:

When Austin, Mark and Logan entered the riding arena, Ty, Deuce and Dez all seems to be bonding very well with their horse. Ty was brushing his horse – Abby, Deuce was feeding some carrots to his horse – Rio, and Dez was talking about himself to his horse – West. Austin, Mark and Logan all couldn't help but chuckled as they shake their head when they heard Dez discussing about his favorite director with his horse.

"Ok, since everyone have gotten their horse. You guys will get onto your horse two at a time so that Antonio and I can watch over you guys." Jeff said.

"Ty! Mark! You two will get onto your horse first." Antonio said.

"Since this is your first time on a horse, you guys would need to use a mounting block so that you do not strain your horse's back muscles. Ty and Mark! Please lead your horse towards the mounting blocks over there. Remember to make sure that your horse is no more than a foot and a half away from the mounting block to avoid jumping across to get onto your horse." Jeff pointed towards the two mounting blocks in the arena.

"Make sure your girth is tight and both your stirrups are down when you try to get onto your horse. You can gather the reins in the left hand. Try to put all your weight in your right foot when stepping into the left stirrup with your left foot. Remember to shift your weight from your right foot to your left before you swing your right leg over your horse's hind quarters. Be sure not to kick your horse while doing so! This could cause her to move forward and unbalance you." Antonio explained as he helped Ty onto his horse while Jeff helped Mark onto his horse.

"Ok! Now put your feet through your stirrups make sure the ball of your foot is centred in the stirrup and your heels are down and close to the horse's body." Jeff said as he advised Mark's foot position.

"Now, put your reins in your hands to hold them, make sure that they are not twisted, and put them inside your closed fists with your thumb folded over your reins. The reins should flow between your ring finger and pinky and place the excess of your reins going to the right side. And now you have it. You're ready to move around the arena." Antonio said after one last check on Ty.

"Ty, sit still but relaxes your shoulder back and make sure you cannot see your toe and heel. You ready to start moving?" Antonio asked.

"I'm ready!" Ty announced after taking a deep breathe.

"Ok, let's go! We'll guide you guys for the first round then you'll move on yourself, ok?" Antonio asked as he gently tapped Abby on her tummy area to signal her to move forward.

"Ok!" Ty and Mark replied.

After riding a round around the arena, Antonio and Jeff slowly let go their grip on the horse to let Ty and Mark take control.

"Good job! Gently pull the rein with your left if you want it to turn left but do not tighten your grip onto the rein with your right hand and apply pressure with your left leg onto the horse's side so the horse is turning around your leg. Release your pressure when she turned to the direction you wanted. Just do the same with your right hand when you want it to turn right. Ty! Try to make your horse turn left." Antonio said.

"Mark! You try too but instead make your horse turn right." Jeff said.

Slowly, following Antonio's instructions, Abby turned left as Ty slowly added pressure on her left rein and stomach and West turned right as Mark slowly added pressure onto his tight rein and stomach.

"Great job, guys! Try to move around the arena on your own while we help the others! If you need any help just call out to our name, ok?" Jeff praised.

"Got it!" Ty replied.

"Ok!" Mark replied.

Slowly, Ty and Mark ride their horse around the arena while carefully following Antonio and Jeff's instructions.

"Deuce! Dez! You guys are up!" Jeff cued.

As per how Antonio and Jeff guided Ty and Mark, Dez and Deuce had no difficulty in getting onto their horse, just that Deuce hesitated for a little bit before moving his right left over the horse. But fortunately, nothing happened, so in no time, Dez and Dez also started to move around the arena, with Gatsby and Rio, like Ty and Abby, and Mark and West.

"Take your time with your horse! Do not rush! Try again if your horse did not follow you order in turning." Antonio said.

"How do we stop our horse?" Ty asked.

"You just have to say 'whoa'! And when you say ''whoa'', sit deep in your saddle, using your weight to signal to the horse that a stop is coming. That should work on getting your horse to come to a stop!" Antonio replied.

"Whoa!" Ty signalled, Abby took another two steps before stopping.

"Cool! Let me try! Whoa!" Mark sit deep into his saddle as she spoke and West slowly stopped moving.

"Good job! Keep on trying to let your horse move, turn and stop. Practise makes perfect!" Jeff praised.

"Logan! Austin! You're next!" Antonio gestured towards the mounting blocks.

After Logan and Austin get onto Moonlight and Ace, Antonio and Jeff gave them another twenty minutes to move around the arena.

"Ok! That's enough practice at the moment! Now Jeff and I will lead you guys out of the arena and around the farm, and maybe let you guys trot around the farm with your horse for a little bit." Antonio said as Jeff disappeared out of the arena.

"Cool! Where are we going?" Austin asked.

"We're going to move towards the grassland over there." Antonio pointed towards a grass patch a few feet away.

Just then, Jeff returned with two horses beside him. After Antonio and Jeff mounted onto the horse, they slowly led the six of them out of the arena and towards the grass patch.

"Ok! Now we have enough space for you guys move a little bit faster. When you are ready, shorten your reins and give him short, brisk squeezes with your legs until your horse begins to trot. Let your horse trot a few steps and then walk a few steps. This will help you balance and get use to the speed or you horse's movements." Antonio said.

Ty and Mark try to get their horse to trot first, but maybe it's their first time trotting, both of them start to lose balance and start to panic.

Behind them, Jeff noticed that Ty and Mark were panicking on their horse so he quickly shouted over to them, "Ty! Mark! I know you guys will feel bouncy and unbalanced when you first start trotting but try not to pull your reins if not you will hurt your horse's mouth. Just hold on to the pommel of your saddle or your horse's mane if you need to balance. Release the pressure of your foot and your horse will stop trotting."

Ty and Mark quickly loosen their grip on their reins and the pressure on their foot after a few steps, their horses slowed down and started walking. The two of them left out a long relieved sign after their horse starting walking again.

"Good try, guys! Try trotting again but this time, try to keep your horse at a very slow, steady speed to help you relax and also to give you time to follow your horse's movement. But remember not to grip with your thighs, knees, or calves; just rest them evenly against your horse's sides as you balance yourself with your seat. Keep your hips, knees, and ankles as springy as you can, just imagine that they quietly absorb the jolting movement of the trot. " Jeff said, hoping to help them to trot with their horse better.

"Remember not to try and force yourself to post as the trot is bouncy enough that it will move you softly up and down. The pressure on your stirrups should remain steady as you rise and sit; instead of bracing your ankles and forcing yourself upward, you just have to move gently up and down with springy, supple ankles." Antonio added.

Ty and Mark tried to make their horse trot again as the others move around the grass, with Jeff helping them along.

"You guys can try to trot too, when you're ready. I will help you along the way so don't worry." Antonio turned to face the rest.

All four of them slowly start to guide their horse to speed up bit by bit and amazingly; Deuce and Deuce had no trouble in trotting. They even started to speed up even more and slowly gallop around the area.

Whereas, Logan and Austin had a rough start at first but slowly the two of them also manage to trot around the grass without any trouble.

"Looks like all of you guys are getting the hang of riding. Good! You guys have another thirty minutes around the grass before we return to the farm. Speed up bit by bit when you guys think you are ready. Jeff and I will be here, just call us if you need help, ok?" Antonio said after guiding them for thirty minutes of horseback riding.

"Got it!" They replied.

Antonio and Jeff moved slightly further away from them to give them more space and also to look over them and their horse.

In 'A Super Cute Boutique':

There were sale tags all over the boutique and the sale tags all only had a sentence on them – Mega Sale of the year at A SUPER CUTE BOUTIQUE! The shop has been separated into three sections: 50% of all clothing in the first section, 75% off all clothing in the second section and 60% off all shoes and accessories in the third section. The moment they burst into the boutique, they were greeted by a sales lady.

"Welcome to A Super Cute Boutique! Is there anything I can help you?" A sales lady walked up to them when she saw them entering the boutique.

"It's ok; we'll look around the boutique on our own." Trish replied.

"Of course. Feel free to look around. Please call me or any of my colleagues if you need anything. Since you girls have VIP passes, you girls will be entitled to use the VIP changing room located at that corner." The sales lady pointed towards the end of the boutique with translucent glass doors.

Through the glass doors, the girls seem to be able to see a lounge area with leather couches and stalls located at both side of the room.

Their eyes widen when they saw the changing room, as though they saw a one carat diamond in that room.

"Thank you, we will!" Ally replied after she recovered herself from being amazed by the VIP changing room.

The girls start to move around the boutique, picking clothes that attract them even without checking the price tags.

"I have to try on that!" Cece gasped when she saw a cute pink dress with yellow/white flowers.

"I have been eyeing on this dress like forever!" Ally said when she saw a blue and white strips sleeveless sundress.

"That top looks amazing!" Rocky exclaimed.

"Girls! Shall we take a trip to the VIP changing rooms?" Trish asked, with both her hands full of clothes.

Cece, Rocky, Trish, Dina and Ally all exchanged glances and gasped, "WE SHALL!"

Together the six of them all ran into the VIP changing room, all with handful of clothes. Since VIP changing room is a private room itself and they were the only VIPs in the shop, they have the changing room all to themselves.

"Rocky? You look so cute in that outfit!" Cece praised when Rocky came out of her dressing room, wearing black and white floral jeans and a cute pink top.

"Thanks, Cece! That pink sundress looks cute on you too! You so have to buy that!" Rocky complimented.

"Don't I look great in this dress?" Tinka bragged when she exited out her changing room, wearing a purple long dress with sparkling white flowers.

"Whoa! You do look great in that dress, Tinka!" Ally agreed as she appeared behind Tinka, wearing a red and white strips tank top with a pair of bright yellow shorts.

"Ally, you looked great in those shorts!" Cece praised.

Ally giggled, "Thanks, Cece!"

"Dina?" Rocky gasped when she saw Dina wearing a pink, girly sundress.

Everyone turned around and the moment they saw Dina, their eyes widen with their jaw dropped.

Dina stunned and asked carefully, "Does this look awful?"

"Dina! You look so different!" Cece commented.

"But it's a good different! You should wear this kind of clothes more!" Rocky added.

"I agree! You should ditch the jeans and t-shirt already." Tinka said.

Dina grinned widely when she heard what Tinka said.

"Wait! What's taking Trish soo long?" Ally asked as she suddenly noticed of Trish presence.

Just then, Trish returned to the changing room with another handful of clothes.

"Trish? I thought you're in your changing room?" Ally asked as Trish put the clothes on the sofa

"Oh! You guys took so long to change so I decide to take another round around the boutique and look what I found." Trish dug through the clothes she pulled out two cute dresses.

Their eyes widen when they looked closely to the dress.
