OMG! You guys! I got over 600 views in ONE DAY! AHH! Made my week! Thank you! 3
What do you think of a Fanfic about Cammie's early years at Gallagher? Totally MY IDEA! By the way! But One Direction is not! At all! Do you guys think I should write another GG Fanfic?
Enjoy and review please!
With my hand firmly in Zach's we entered the buzzing arena. There was so much going on. Staff were busy running this way and that way, fixing minor things. The athletes were swarming in through the doors to their seats. It all reminded me of a giant, living, breathing, Bee Hive.
"How many exits do you see?" I heard in my ear. The voice sounded so familiar. I turned to look at Zach, he had a smile on his face.
"37." I heard Bex say in my ear.
"Solomon." I breathed. "He's here." I couldn't suppress a laugh. Zach laughed along with me, as we walked into the giant arena.
"I think we're supposed to go that way." Zach pointed to the other girls. They were walking to the left and down some stairs. I pulled Zach behind me as I weaved between the other athletes.
I looked up for a few seconds. My eyes drifted over thousands, upon thousands of seats. I thought that the Grand Hall was big, but boy was I wrong. I couldn't make out the faces across the arena. This would have been my dream mission to be a pavement artist in. I could blend into the huge crowds and be able to do anything.
I bumped into someone.
"I'm so sorry!" I said. The man looked at me. He had a regular face. Nothing special. His blonde hair was cut short and he had a three-days-beard on his chin. His eyes were green and his nose was long. He dressed as one of the maintenance staff, bustling along to his next thing to fix. He only looked at me for a few seconds before he kept walking along.
"Come on Cecelia!" Zach said a loud, using my code name.
"I'm coming!" I called after him.
Once we were all settled in our seats, the seven of us got down to work. Tina and Bex put on their high tech sunglasses that would allow them to see far distances, through three feet of concrete, and even in the dark! Macey, Anna and Eva were busy taking pictures with their "phones". The "phones" were actually cameras sending each picture automatically to the tech station where they were being review and every person was being cleared through the MI6 facial recognition program.
It took almost an hour for the stadium to fill and for the lights to dim.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to introduce…" a loud voice rang through the arena. It said instructions in English, then in Spanish, Chinese, Italian, French and many other languages. The big voice told us to stand for the British National Anthem.
After the song was done and the cheering had died down and the announcer became quiet and the real show started.
I'm sure you all saw some, if not all of the closing ceremonies on TV or the computer. If you haven't, I suggest you do so. Because I don't plan on writing every exact detail for the ceremony. Not even the part where my sisters screamed when One Direction came into the arena and sang. Or how, when 1D came out, Zach buried his face in his arms and I laughed. But you get the point.
"Cam!" Bex shouted over me. "They will light the fireworks soon!"
"I know!" I yelled back.
"Hey! Cammie! I think I found something!" Tina offered me her glasses and pointed to an entry way across the stadium.
I placed the glasses on my face and turned the small knob to focus. I zoomed in on a woman and boy. The woman was hovering over the boy as he fiddled with something in a wooden crate near the entrance. There were wires, all different colors, coming in and out of the box. I followed the wires and saw that some were attached to the fireworks that would be shot out over the stadium.
"What is it?" Zach asked over the cheers of the crowd.
"It's your mom." he tensed. "And Will."
"What are they doing?"
"Will's attaching something to the wires of the fireworks. Zach, they're setting up the bombs. We have to go and stop them. Now." I said. I took off the glasses and stood up. I turned to my sisters.
"Eva, Tina, Anna, go to the right. Macey, Bex and I will go to the left. And Zach," I said.
"I'm staying with you." he finished.
"We expected as much." Macey added. "Let's go." she pushed passed me and ran up the stairs and turned right onto the main pathway to get to the other side of the arena.
I felt my blood begin to rush as I sprinted behind Bex and Macey. Bex had her hand up to her ear. She was radioing Abby and Solomon and probably the rest of MI6 that was there that day. I pumped my arms to go faster. My feet pounding on the ground was my steady beat. 1, 2, 3, 4. Breath. Left, Right, In , out. My steady rhythm as I ran beside Zach.
"They're nearing the confrontation point." I heard Macey say as she peered at our other team coming in from the right. We began to turn, but a man stood in the way. We all skidded to a stop.
A man in a navy blue official's uniform stood in our way. He had a hand raised as if to tell us to stop.
"I am zo zorry. But zou are not allowed to go out of ze Athletez standz." he said with a thick Russian accent. I saw Bex sizing the man up, wondering if she could take him.
I studied the man. He was a normal looking man, except, he reminded me of someone. I looked passed the disguise, like I had done before. He had the same green eyes and long nose.
The maintenance man.
"Oh, sorry sir." I could feel my C&A training kicking in as it always did in these situations. "But it was just getting a little toasty in here for me. I needed some air." I knew my sisters and Zach had gotten the message, because suddenly, Macey had roundhouse kicked the man in the nose and then he was in one of Bex's choke holds. She dragged him into an empty hallway away from all the spectators.
The man was sputtering and gasping for air, as Zach knelt down to the man and searched his pockets. I pulled the comms unit out of his ear.
"Where are they putting the firework bomb?" Macey asked the man. Her blue eyes were piercing him. "Where?!" she screamed at him.
"You'll…. never… make… it…." the man passed out. Bex dropped her hold.
"What do we do with him now?" Bex asked.
"I'll take care of him. You three, go now!" Zach said. He pushed us back into the arena and we were running again. I didn't know what Zach was planning to do, but I knew it wouldn't be good.
We rounded the last corner and came to a door that said "Fireworks. Caution! Crew Only!" But do signs have any effect on Rebecca Baxter? No.
She kicked down the door and we went inside.
There were hundreds of crates. But which one was the one that would have the deadly explosives? We were running out of time!
Macey said some very interesting words in Hindi. "Which box is it?"
"Anna? Tina? Eva? Come in!" Bex said into her comms. "It's dead in here." she said. We crept among the boxes, the light was dim. Then we heard:
"Yes. And you will be too."
