There will be a new couple coming out in this chapter!

Chapter Thirty Four: Farewell Party

Late at Night after Austin's gig...

At Beach House:

"Wow, that mini concert is soo fun!" Cece praised.

"I agree! I had so much fun at the concert, I am staving right now!" Rocky added.

"But we just had our dinner like 3 hours ago." Mark rolled his eye brows at Rocky.

"My point exactly!" Rocky giggled.

"If I didn't recall wrongly, I remembered we still have two tubes of ice cream in the freezer." Logan suggested.

"Perfect ending for the night!" Tinka exclaimed.

"I'll go get the ice cream!" Rocky announced.

"Remember to get twelve spoons." Trish reminded.

"I'll help you!" Mark suggested.

Half an hour later, all twelve of them were all on the couch having ice cream.

"I can't believe tomorrow will be our last day in Miami." Deuce said.

"I know! I will really miss this place." Dina said as she cuddled towards Deuce.

Everyone kept quiet for a minute.

"So… what time should we go grocery shopping tomorrow?" Logan said, trying to change the subject.

"Well, we still have to pack so I suggest we have dinner before 5pm. There will be time for packing after dinner so we don't not have wake up early on Monday." Rocky suggested.

"What time is your flight on Monday?" Ally asked.

"Our flight is at 1:45pm on Monday, so we need to be at the airport before 11:30am." Ty replied.

"Will you guys be coming with us to the airport?" Cece asked.

"Yup, but quick question, how do you plan on getting to the airport?" Ally replied.

"We will be taking the free airport transfer." Ty replied.

"Oh, then I suggest we head home in the morning to put our things before heading to the airport with them." Austin said.

"What about you, Mark?" Deuce asked.

"Ya, I remembered you telling me that your flight is around 1:45pm too on Monday." Logan added.

Logan and Mark have gotten pretty close from being roommates for the past few days.

"I will be joining you guys because my aunt has an important meeting that morning but I do have to head back tomorrow to have farewell lunch with her, I will still join you guys on dinner though." Mark replied.

"Cool! So who's up for grocery shopping? Or should we split like before? Girls do the grocery shopping and we prepare the pit?" Ty asked.

"I am not going grocery shopping again! That's too much work." Tinka warned as she flipped her hair.

"YOU DID NOT DO ANYTHING!" Rocky, Cece, Ally and Dina snapped.

All the boys burst into laughter.

"Ok, ok! Chill, girls! Rocky, Cece, Ally, Mark, Deuce and I will go the grocery while Ty, Austin, Dez and Dina prepare the pit. As for you two, you only have to lay out the table and drinks. Everyone ok with their task?" Logan suggested.

"Why am I up for grocery shopping?" Deuce complained.

"Dude, you did not do anything last time we set up the pit. All you could do is clean the table which we all know Dina can do better than you." Ty insulted.

"Hey!" Deuce snapped, and after a minute he let out a sign of defeat and said, "Fine! I'll go grocery shopping with you guys."

"Ok, then! Shall we split up and rest for the day?" Rocky asked.

"Oh and Mark!" Mark turned to see Ty, "Remember to be back by 3 so we will have ample time for preparation."

The next day…

In Cece and Rocky's bedroom:

"Cece! Cece!" Rocky half-whispered, trying to wake Cece up.

"Hmm…" Cece stirred and ignored Rocky.

"Cece! Wake up!" Rocky raised her volume.

"…" Cece stirred again before stretching.

"Rocky! Why did you wake me up? I am having the best dream ever!" Cece complained as she rubbed her eyes.

"I… I…" Rocky stammered, trying to figure out what to say to her best friend.

"Is it about your mixed affections for Mark? You are not sure if you're thinking Mark as a friend or a boyfriend." Cece finished her question for Rocky.

Rocky widen her eyes and jumped into Cece's bed.

"Ow…" Cece flinched as Rocky accidently stepped on her thigh.

"Sorry, Cece!" Rocky apologized before yanking Cece's arm and asked, "How you know?"

"Again! OW!" Cece flinched again before replying Rocky's question, "Rocky! We're best friends. Do you really need to ask that question?"

"What should I do? We will be returning back to Chicago tomorrow but I don't want to just get rid of Mark in my life." Rocky panicked.

"Rocky, relax! Are you forgetting Mark is living New York?" Cece asked.

"Of course I knew that, that's why I am panicking. We will be like thousands of miles away from each other. If I want to date Mark, we will be having a long distance relationship and you know long distance relationship never work. Then I will be heart broken and I will…"

Cece gently pulled Rocky's hand to get her attention and also to save herself from another Rocky lecture, "Rocky!"

Rocky stopped talking and turned to look at Cece.

"Wow, Rocky! This is the first time I saw you panic like this. Rocky, are you forgetting that WE will also be going to New York for college this fall?" Cece reminded.

Rocky stunned for a minute then blinked a few times as she digest Cece's words.

"Oh my gondala! You're right; we are attending college in New York this fall." Rocky mumbled to herself.

Cece smiled and nodded her head.

Rocky looked up and asked, "Then why am I panicking the whole night for?"

"God knows. Rocky, now can I get back to sleep!" Cece asked as she tries to retrieve her blanket from under Rocky's legs.

"Cece! How can you sleep at this time?" Rocky accused.

Cece sat up and checked her phone, "Why can't I? It's only 3 in the morning."

"CECE!" Rocky snapped.

Cece giggled, "Ok! Ok! Stop yelling my name. Rocky, if you want to figure out your feelings with Mark, the easiest way is to talk to him. If you want to make it quick, look at him in the eyes if you are feeling giddy means you really liked him."

"Are you sure it's that simple?" Rocky rolled her eyes.

"It always has been, you're just making a big deal." Cece replied as she buried herself into her pillow.

"Oh then why do I recall it took you two weeks to figure out your feelings for Logan?" Rocky smirked.

Cece stiffen for a second and tuck herself into her pillow to avoid Rocky's question.

Rocky smiled and shook her head while looking at her best friend falling back into dreamland.

At Family Room:

Rocky is sitting on the couch waiting for Mark while the rest were still sleeping in their rooms.

"Hey Rocky, what are you doing on the couch? Even Logan is still sleeping!" Mark teased.

Rocky gulped, "Actually I was waiting for you!"

Mark raised an eye brow as he took a seat beside Rocky, "Waiting for me? What's up?"

"Erm… " Rocky tangle her fingers as she figure out how to express her feeling.

Mark took a glance at Rocky, looking at how nervous Rocky is. It's like as though she is trying to ask him out.

This is so weird. This is not the Rocky Blue he knew. I mean what is it that…

And suddenly, his eyes widen, finally realizing what is going on.

Mark placed a palm on Rocky's tangled hands and said, "Rocky, this is the kind of thing that a boy should be the one asking."

Rocky's face lit up in shock and stared at Mark speechlessly.

Mark chucked at Rocky's reaction and said, "Rocky, I cannot deny that I do have feelings for you but I think we both agree that this is too fast for us. But I would love to give this a try! Would you like to go on a date with me when you move to New York for college?"

Rocky continues to stare at Mark speechlessly for another five minutes.

After Rocky recovered, she shrieked as she wrapped her arms around Mark's neck, "I would love too!"

Mark chucked and wrapped his arms around Rocky's waist.

Without them knowing, Cece and Logan turned around and headed back into Logan's room to give some space to the new couple.

In the Front Garden of Beach House:

Ty and Austin were cleaning the pit while Dez and Dina prepare the coal. By the patio, Tinka and Trish were done setting so they're just sitting by the lounge chairs chatting while Cece and Rocky were laying the prepared steaks and vegetables aside for barbequing later.

"Cece!" Rocky half shouted under her breathe.

"Ya, Rocky?" Cece asked without lifting her head to look at her best friend.

"I think I might have a boyfriend!" Rocky half shouted under her breathe again, excitedly.

Cece stopped what she is doing and looked up, "I know!"

Rocky's' eyes widen in shock, "You knew? How did you know?"

Cece smirked, "This afternoon, Logan and I heard what you and Mark in the family room."

Rocky stunned, "You were eavesdropping?"

Cece raised an eye brow at her best friend and smirked deeper, "Come on, you woke me up in the middle of the night to ask me a question that I think is pretty stupid for your level of intelligence. Do you really think I wouldn't know what you're planning to do? Besides, Logan is my boyfriend and honey; I will never keep such a secret from him especially when it involves his roommate."

Rocky rolled her eyes at Cece without a word as Cece smirked.

"What's wrong with you two?" Deuce asked as he and Ally took out the kabobs Logan and Mark prepared.

"Nothing, Rocky is being stupid." Cece teased.

"Cece! You better watch it!" Rocky snapped.

Cece burst into laughter as Deuce and Ally looked at each other for a minute before they shrugged.

In the Kitchen:

"So… Mark? How was the feeling of having Rocky as your girlfriend?" Logan asked suddenly.

Mark froze, "How…How you know?"

"Cece and I heard you when you were heading out to meet your aunt." Logan smirked.

Mark's eyes widen for a bit and chuckled, "Pretty good! I mean Rocky is a really smart and fun girl. I really liked her."

Logan nodded his head, "She is. I am really happy for you two."

Mark smiled, "Thanks, man!"

In the Front Garden of Beach House:

By the time the sun set, everyone was sitting by the lounge area having dinner while talking about their vacation together.

"I know I have said this before but I just have to say it again, Logan these kabobs were amazing!" Austin praised.

Logan chucked, "Thanks. I'm glad you like it."

"I cannot believe it, two weeks ago, we were just a group of seven and now we are a group of twelve. We have made so many friends; we had so many nice foods here." Ty said.

"And Rocky and I got to perform with Austin on national TV!" Cece shrieked as Rocky nodded her head.

Everyone burst into laughter at Cece's childlike reaction.

"Not to mention, we got to ride horses, play with dolphins, surf and we even went clubbing for the first time!" Mark reminded.

"What is your favorite activity during the whole vacation?" Ty asked, curiously.

Everyone stopped a minute and started thinking…

"For me and Cece, we would say is performing on national TV." Rocky said.

"I would say getting a chance to surf! I have always loved the beach but I never get the chance to learn surfing." Logan said.

"Definitely shopping!" Trish and Tinka exclaimed at the same time.

When they realize they have said the same thing, they gave each other a bear hug as the others chuckled.

"I think for Ally and I will be you guys helping us realize that being in a relationship doesn't mean we have to change how we fell or act around each other." Austin said, with Ally cuddling into his arms.

"I think I have most fun bowling with you guys." Deuce said.

"For Deuce and I, will be at the Fruit and Spice Park cause frankly, that was only time, we got to spend some time together." Dina said.

Cece giggled, "I remembered seeing you guys being mushy were so weird for all of us."

Everyone chucked as they nodded in agreement.

"HEY!" Deuce and Dina snapped which made everyone burst into laughter.

"This was indeed a vacation to remember!" Ty concluded.

"I agree, and we all know who is behind of all these!" Logan grinned.
