Rin POV.

It feels so disturbing as if I'm being carried by someone. I could feel heat and hear heartbeats beating fast. I could here the wind howling and the splashing water of a waterfall...

Wait... Waterfall?! Heartbeat?!

I open my eyes and notice that I'm no longer at the place I slept. My bag, my blanket, AUNTIE'S BASKET! I cringed at the thought of what will happen if my mother finds out and began to panic. Waving my hands aimlessly and suddenly hitting something or rather someone.

Said someone let out a unmanly scream and hold his chin in return making me fall on the ground, hard. I winced and rubbed my butt before looking up to glare at my kidnapper. In front of me, I saw a young man. His hair were aqua blue and is wearing a long white coat with navy coloured trousers and black boots. On his back, he wears a bag filled with colourful gigantic berries.

Despite he is my kidnapper(maybe), he look up to me with his eyes that match his hair colour and smile. I still glare at him but I can feel heat rising and my cheeks getting red. Oh god, someone stop that gentle, kind smile that only a (true) gentleman can do because he is not a gentleman!

I tried to stand up but my legs are stunted. The man walk towards me and bend down before doing something very against my comfort zone. He carried me, bridal style. The inner me felt like a screaming banshee.

"I apologise for making you scared and fall down. You surprised me you see..." he said. Then he realised something and put me down quickly. "Before you accused me kidnapping I'm not. I found you in the water, tangled with the tree roots. When I saw you, I quickly panicked and cut of the roots..." He said politely, like a gentleman.

I nod my head slowly but didn't let my guard down. What does he mean that he found me in the water tangled with tree roots. I look at him and open my mouth to asked him questions.

"First of all, who're you? Where am I? And what do you mean that you found me underwater" I ask him. He stare at me as if looking into my soul, I shivered. After a long silence, he answer my question.

"My name is Shion Kaito. You're in the forest near Akakuro town. I don't how you get tangled in the water, but at first I thought you're dead but I save you in the end because you look so alive" He said this with a red face. I don't know why his face is red thought.

I look at him weirdly. The man is innocent if his story is true. I look around to see we're standing on a giant branch like path. Other than that, everything was surrounded by giant floating pink flowers and petals. I suddenly feel cold and look down at my dress that's almost dry but still wet.

"Akakuro town? Where is that place?" I asked him again. His blue eyes met mine before he gave a charming smile. Grabbing my wrist(he seems to understand my comfort zone), he walk towards one of the flower petals.

"I'll explain to you while we're heading there because you don't look like you know much judging by you're clothing. My ma will be mad at me if I come back late before lunch. Come on, take a seat Miss..." He look at me curiously, I stare at him back before answering him.

"Rin, Kagamine Rin"

He nodded and step on the gigantic petal like boat before helping me to get on too, taking a stick with an acorn cap tied in the end of the stick. Soon, he began to row the petal like boat or I'll just called it a boat.

"You see, Akakuro town is know for its beauty. The people here lives up the tree, the come down to search for food and drinks. So right now, we're at the bottom of Akakuro town. Try to look up there" Kaito said and pointed his finger up, signalling me to look up which I did as told and was awed by the the scenery up there.

Above was full of peoples walking, talking and all he other stuff normal people usually do. The houses, I noticed, was either made of flower two times larger than the one I see before or acorn hanging on the tree branches. (How they got out and in is up to you're imagination.STAIRS or LADDER...)

High dive into frozen waves

Kaito POV.

She look up at the scenery with awed. It's cute like a child just gotten many candy from someone. Miss Rin is very pretty and also mysterious. I'm curious on how she got tangled up with the tree roots in the water, sleeping. I thought she's a water spirit or something at first, but she looks very alive as if a human.

Judging by her clothing, she's not from around this place or anywhere. It's so out of date. She look away from Akakuro town before looking left to right. I too look around as I paddle the boat. The smaller trees were wood crated into shapes of a dragons because it was once known for its dragons. Legend says that in this town once live a demon like dragon so we crafted the woods in a shape of dragons to attract travellers.

"Why is the woods craft in a shape of a dragon?" Miss Rin asked me, still looking at the wood crafted dragons. Before I could answer, someone else answer it Miss Rin's question.

"Because dragons once live in this place" I looked behind only to see an elf woman dressed as knight looking at me seriously and also quite angry? I laugh nervously and spare Miss Rin a glance only to see her as pale as snow.

"Meiko... Don't scared her" I said, trying to calm the knight that protects Akakuro town. She glared at me. "Don't messed with me you stupid man. This is not your concern." she said it with venom then look at Rin.

"And you. Who are you? "

"Ka-Kagamine Rin..." Miss Rin stuttered under Meiko's stare. I pity Miss Rin, I know how it feels to be under Meiko's hard glare. 'It's scary' I thought to myself. Meiko suddenly take out her sword which made me froze. What's wrong with her today?!

She... She's not planning on killing Miss Rin right? Her sword slowly covered in red aura before erupted into flames before swinging the sword to Miss Rin. That time I swear time froze when Miss Rin's eyes turn red and golden butterflies started to surround us. When Meiko's sword hit one of the butterflies, her sword shattered into pieces.

Miss Rin said something that I don't understand but it seems Meiko does. Miss Rin's eyes slowly turn from red to her blue ones back. She look very distant as if she's not there before fainted. All the butterflies suddenly shattered like glass. I could only sit and watch with my mouth gaped before moving in front Miss Rin, wanting to protect her.

But it's odd to see Meiko's eyes also seems distant too. They're dull unlike her always flaming marron eyes. I look at her curiously before glaring.

"What in heavens name are you thinking Meiko?! Attacking someone like that! I thought you know better!" I shout which snapped her out of her trains of thought. She glare at me and I shivered a bit.

"Better than you who could bring a stranger. Besides, I am a knight. It is my duty to protect Akakuro. What if she's a threat Kaito? Are you willing to take the blame?" I didn't answered her, looking down. I know what she's saying is true but...

If she were to Miss Rin again, I won't hesitate to step and take the blow. Because I know she won't hurt me since I'm the only person she trust the most.

Meiko POV.

Normal people may not feel the aura or power this girl's has but us magic user does. An aura so strong it's suffocating to breath. I look down at the girl. If she prove to bring threat I won't take pity anymore and kill her off.

Because I trust Kaito's judgement in people, I'll let this slide. I only hope for the better than the worse for this.

Rin POV.(Dreamscape)

Waking up in an unknown and narrow place, with lanterns hanging on the ceiling as my only source of light. I shivered at the coldness of the damp air and slowly stand up. Looking left and right, there was only darkness. I was alone, all alone... Again... I began to walk. As I walk I heard water dripping, the more I walk the louder it sounds. I hope it's not dangerous thought... But it's better than here.

I hate the dark.

I can't remember what happen before... Each time I tried, my head aches. This place, I feel connected somehow. Am I dead? It can't be, I could still hear my heartbeat. Have I been here before? I don't know. When I saw light, someone was standing there as if waiting for me. I can't see his face but it felt as if I know him. I began to run after that, towards the light, to him. All I could see when I reach him is I was blinded by the light and warmth of his body.

"You're safe now... You're safe here... I'll protect you"

I open my eyes only to see I'm alone again. The warmth is gone and I look around for him but he's nowhere to be seen. Had I been dreaming all that time? The narrow place was also gone. I frown at this, it can't be a dream...

"You're safe now... You're safe here... I'll protect you"

Because it sound so real. I shook my head, I'll worry about that latter. Now I better observe my surroundings first, safety comes first. Yeah, safety comes first.

Standing up, I saw an abandon building not too far away. I look around, giant dandelions surrounded the field like trees, a small lake not too far from the building and up on the orange colour sky there is three suns which I look at it oddly. Walking towards the church, the little flowers in the grass will jiggles like little bells. Which is cute but at the same time annoying. When I reach the building, I took a deep breath in, pray for my safety and push the door open. Strong wind came out from the building howling.

Creak.

Walking slowly to make sure that there are no monster. The building is quite big if it's taken care properly. Since it's abandon, white glowing lilies growing almost everywhere inside. There is also a big well filled with clear water. The only thing to describe this place is beautiful.

I feel save here like the time with the person. I decide to look around. The bells hanging on the ceiling, the tattered white transparent curtain hanging at the window and a very antique benches . Everything seems as if it come out from a story book. Exploring, I find a beautifully crafted wardrobe decorated with roses and butterflies. I touch it and look at it with awe.

I tried opening it next but it won't open so I frown a bit. Looking beside the wardrobe, I saw something that looks like a door. I tried pushing the wardrobe. It was hard but I managed to push it. It was really a door hidden behind the wardrobe. I suddenly remember that this building had two parts. I wonder what's behind this door.

I open the door only to be met with another beautiful scenery. With beautiful yellow roses and golden butterflies every where. I feel a very strong vibe pulling me closer and when I step into the garden, the door behind me shut with a loud 'bang'.

The butterflies began to spin like a tornado in one place and I could see a figure appearing in the spiral of butterflies. I close my eyes because of the sudden strong wind that almost blow me like the roses petals. My vision blurry, I could see a two pair of wings appearing but it could be my imagination.

When my eyes wide open, I see a boy. A beautiful boy to be exact. His hair that's almost the same shade as mine, to the figure(expect his more masculine). He could pass as my twin. Not wanting to ruin the beautiful moment but at the same time wanted to know what's happening, I called out for him.

"Hey you!" I shouted, earning his attention. He look at me with piercing icy blue eyes and scowled, the butterflies surrounds us both. "Why are you here?!" His voice screams royalty but I decided to ignored it. I won't let my pride fall that easily. Mother is hundred times more scarier.

"I should be the one asking! Who are you?! Do you know me?" I said. He stood there staring at me before letting out a dark chuckle. He smirk at me devilishly(which is not hot at all) and walk towards me.

"My name is Len, foolish girl! I admire your guts for speaking in such... polite ways but I'll let this slide. And who am I? Can't you tell from my looks?" he said coolly at me And pointing his finger at himself. I looked at him oddly before answering his question like riddles."You... Are me I guess?" I answer unsurely. I scratch my cheeks a little as I wait for his respond... This Len guy...

He look shocked and stare at me for a few seconds before laughing loudly. All the sudden, the butterflies turn into golden flames appeared out of nowhere and surrounded us both. I froze, not moving an inch. I'm scared of fire for some unknown reason.

"I'll be alright"

A faint voice echoed in my head. Blurred images rushing into my vision, sounds of people screaming and a house burning. A figure, the very same figure I meet in the narrow place stand in front of me, embracing me.

"Don't cry... You're safe..."

Tears formed in my eyes and the next thing I knew, I was screaming for my life when my heart aches.

Len POV.

She... Cried?! I stop the flames that surrounds us and walk towards her sobbing form. One of her hands clutch her chest where the heart is and one at her head. The flames was just supposed to send her back to reality, not making her cry. Comforting people is not my forte but...

I put my hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. Whatever she's remembering is not a pleasant memory.

"Foolish girl. Stop crying, there's no more flame..."I told her as gently as possible. Her tears seems to stop and looked at me with her now dull eyes. I wipe away her tears and pat her back slowly.

"You're safe here"

She stare at me and hugged me tightly as if her life's in the line. Awkwardly, I continue to pat her back before I too, see some blurred images of my maybe past life? Rin's body quickly become transparent, almost invisible to the eyes and also untouchable before finally disappeared from my sight.

Once she disappeared, a blurred image of a boy with black hair and golden eyes stand in front of me, wearing clothes almost the same as mine. He walk towards me and tried to choke me. Luckily, I summoned the butterflies and stop his movement. Burning him to the ground and touch my neck that was choked by it.

"Kagamine Rin... What're you doing to me?!"

A/N: Is it bad or good. Please review! Yeah, I know. I know there's a lot of repetition of words but those are going to be very important in the future.

Who is the mysterious boy in Rin's memory? How does he connected with her and Len? Well too bad! I don't give spoilers!
