I haven't updated in so long, I've been suffering from the case of the 'writers block' and I haven't been able to write a chapter. I've had no ideas but I've been thinking of sketching up some scenes and character pictures. I don't know though, what do you guys think? Anyway, enjoy this chapter ^.^
The Allfather laid on his bed still in the Odinsleep, the King of Asgard looked frail. Evalith sat by her Father, her eyes flittered against the light coming in through the window. She hadn't slept in days, every night the darkness would wake her. And every night, Loki would hold her until dawn when the soft horizon would begin to show itself. "What can I say Father? I love him. And its okay, if you banish him, you banish me too." Evalith shook her head, hair falling across her shoulders. "No, that's not right." Sighing, she gave her Father a kiss on the forehead and left his chambers. How do I tell him I'm in love with a traitor? My own brother. No. He isn't my brother. Because they lied to him, what do I –
Kill them.
Evalith spun behind her seeing nothing. The halls were silent, no one was there. Evalith held her chest, her eyes scanning left and right, "Who was that?" She went to take another step back –
Kill them all. Kill the Thunder. Kill the Lady. Kill the Allfather.
The whispers rushed close causing the hairs to raise on the Goddesses neck, her heart began to throb deeply as if it was pumping the last drops of blood through her body. "I don't want to kill anyone. I love them."
Ha! 'Love' you, they despise you. They don't love you, especially him. The Trickster.
"Trickster? I don't under –"Ears buzzing, Evalith began to freeze and the palms of her hands were turning paler. The kiss of the sun didn't deter the cold. "Loki" she sighed before sinking against the rails. "Sister? Are you alright?" Thor wrapped his arm around Evalith's shoulder. When did I get back up? "Soaking up our beautiful sun are we? You were always one to wander off Evalith." She forced a smile for her brother, not wanting him to notice her tired eyes. "Where is Loki?" Thor looked down on her, not being able to help the grin on his face. He was still unsure about this arrangement, of course, but he never let the glint in her eyes at the mention of Loki's name go past him. That's what made him happy. "Out in the central courtyard, receiving glares and most likely mental death threats. I wouldn't be surprised." Thor bellowed, pulling his sister for a hug, "Kill him baby sister." Evalith pushed away, "What did you say?" looking at her brother. Thor turned around, "I said are you coming baby sister?" Evalith let out a deep breath, her head hurt, "Yes brother! I'll follow you down".
What's wrong with me?
Aether.
I know, not a very long chapter. But I felt this was important to include, everything will make a lot more sense later on I promise! Rate and review, honestly, that's what helps me come up with new ideas for the stories, it really helps a lot!
