All the colours of the Bifrost streamed past her eyes, the reflections causing her eyes to change different colours. Loki's arm supported her head as he held her off the ground. His arms were tense, the journey back to Asgard was never smooth. "What happened? I sensed a strong surge of energy coming from Vanaheim." Heimdallr took his sword and swayed it across his back, Thor moved past trying to catch up with Loki. "She… She just lost control, I've never seen anything like it." As Sif was trying to explain to Heimdallr, Loki was already half way down the colourful glass road. "Loki please stop." Thor was fast pacing behind him, the images of his sister's face replayed in his mind.

Loki layed Evalith on the table, roughly pulling the hair from his face, the sweat beaded around his hair line. Old Nurse entered the room, quickly hushing over to the Goddess, whose face was still pale. "Tell me what happened." Loki spun around back to Evalith's side, "We… She just…" His yell echoed in the halls outside the room. Thor stood behind Old Nurse, "Loki calm down! You are not helping the situation, stop now!" Thor God of Thunder remained calm under immense pressure. His sister was lying unconscious while a traitor to Asgard, someone he once knew, was becoming more unhinged. "Her face started to crack, it glowed and her eyes went grey. I've never seen my sister do anything like it. Only in an instant did it disappear." The tears fell from Loki's cheeks, I can't lose you again.

Sif, Fandral and Volstagg stood along the open cascade on the side of the castle. Fandral's arms rested against the cold stone. Volstagg paced back and forth, his mind trying to figure out what he saw was real. Sif spoke first, "I know what I saw was real, I didn't know Evalith was capable of such power." Fandral turned, elbows now leaning on the stone, "She never was." Thor entered the cascade and the warrior three turned to him. "Evalith is still unconscious, Loki is with her, Old Nurse is puzzled. She does not know what caused this." Although he remembered exactly was he saw, the God couldn't help but wonder, the God couldn't keep the image of Aether out of his mind. Those cracks, that energy, just like Malekith.

She balled her hand into a fist, the beautiful crimson fluid danced along her arms. "Loki." Evalith tried to open her eyes, to no avail. The Aether wouldn't let her.

He can't hear you Evalith.
