The flames drowned Asgard, citizens were running everywhere in a panic. Trying to avoid the falling debris. Evalith extended the fire using her hands and it rushed along the sides of the buildings. Fandral and Volstagg were struggling as they tried to evacuate citizens from the centre of the city. Lady Sif wiped ash from her face, looking up she watched Evalith float still in the air with Aether swarming around her, "We can't stop her from down here!" Thor and Loki pushed past people running the other way. The Goddess looked down, spotting the two men running toward here. She threw her head back and laughed, launching boulders aimed at the two, Thor dodged the oncoming rocks. Loki attempted to move but his leg was still injured from the first encounter when Evalith woke up. He braced for impact but it never happened. Slowly Loki moved his hand from his face, the Allfather threw his spear crushing the boulder into multiple little pieces. "What is going on!?" Odin's voiced boomed and Thor rubbed his eyes, "Allfather you are awake!" Everywhere Odin looked he saw fire and destruction. Loki got back up, "Evalith had been consumed by Aether, and its power rendered you into Odinsleep." Odin grimaced, he didn't know how long he had been under but he glared at Loki. "Thor go after your sister, I'll stay and attempt to fix this mess."
Evalith grinned and turned her attention to the Bifrost. "Why is she going to the Bifrost!?" Thor yelled to his brother. Loki looked up, he saw his sister in the air, "Midgard. Thor the nightmares she had, showed her destroying Midgard!" Thor froze completely, Jane.
Evalith landed gently on the colourful bridge, her hands splayed out, breaking down the sides creating a thinner path so no one could follow. Thor used Mjolnir and was the first to arrive at the bridge and carefully watched his footing. "Evalith stop! I don't want to hurt you!" Thor's voice echoed throughout the sky. Evalith spun around, glaring in frustration. Quickly she sent Aether streaming to Thor, who countered with streams of lightning screeching back. The two forces met with a deafening sound in the middle of the frost, the power of the Aether forced Thor back, dropping Mjolnir. Heimdallr ran up from behind and swung his sword but Evalith whipped around taking the blade of the sword in her hand with a crunch, the blade cut through the flesh and blood spilled everywhere. Evalith screamed, not in pain but in anger. Squeezing her hand, letting the blood spill around she sent Heimdallr flying back.
Loki helped Thor to his feet, "We can't let her get to the end." Thor nodded and got back up, grasping Mjlonir the two carefully ran up to the observatory. Evalith took the sword from Heimdallr, holding him down with the Aether. She stepped into the observatory piercing the sword in to the opening and the rainbow aura opened up. "Evalith don't do it!" Loki leapt over the debris but Evalith flung him back with a wave of her hand. Thor was next to enter and she lifted him from the ground, slamming his body over and over on the wall of the observatory. Loki clumsily got back to his feet once more, "Evalith enough!" Loki grabbed her arm and she looked him in the eye, "She's not here anymore," The Aether pressed into Loki's chest, pushing him away. The Goddess merely laughed and stepped into the portal to Midgard.
Loki groaned and rolled over on his side, "That went well." Thor stumbled over, his body was aching all over, "The portal is still open, and we have to go after to her." He looked over at Asgard, it continued to burn. Heimdallr leaned over from the opening of the observatory and ushered Loki over to him, giving him something. Thor couldn't make out what they were saying, but Heimdallr shook his head. "I can keep the doorway open for now, but I need to repair to Bifrost or you won't be able to come back." Thor shook his head in agreement, "Loki lets go." Taking Mjolnir back in his grasp the two entered to portal and disappeared from sight.
"Where are we?" Loki didn't know Midgard as well as Thor did, so he wasn't sure of where exactly on Midgard they were. Thor looked around, Evalith had already done a great deal of damage. The flames made the foundations of the building crumble under the pressure. The water near the harbour churned and the waves bashed against the ground. "This is where Malekith broke the gravitational pull." Greenwich Thor remembered, this must have been the only place Evalith knows on Midgard, so it made sense for her to be here. "We have to find Jane." Thor began to run with Loki not far behind, "What about Evalith?" Loki was confused and hurt. "Jane may be able to help us locate Evalith quicker." Thor remembered apartment where Jane lives and the two headed there, Loki grasped the small blade in his sheath that Heimdallr gave him and tried the shake the thought.
