The two Gods ran across the grass, it would have been an uncanny sight were it not for the natural disasters occurring around them. The two burst into Jane's apartment, Jane yelled at the surprise, Darcy fell out of her seat and Erik fainted right on the spot when he saw Loki. "Jane! There is no time we need your help-"Thor was cut off by Jane punching his chest repeatedly, "You can't just show up out of the blue like this! Again!" Loki awkwardly shuffled in the corner away from the arguing couple. "Do you know what's been going around here? Its absolute chaos, there's news reports from all of the world of natural disasters and craziness everywhere!" Jane spoke quickly and Thor could barely keep up.
"Yeah, the world's basically going to shit." Darcy sat back at the dining table munching on her cereal.
"I understand that and that is why we are here." Thor ushered over to Loki who was still awkwardly placed in the corner.
"Why are you here? Don't you cause enough trouble?" Jane stormed over to the man, when she noticed his demeanour was different, a lot less cocky. "It's Evalith, she has Aether inside her and it has completely taken over her." Jane went silent, she understood now. Immediately, she ran over to her computer typing frantically at the keyboard. "Jane, we need to know exactly where Evalith so we can stop her as soon as we can." Thor leaned over the chair where she was sitting, Darcy scuffled over trying to get a quick feel of Thor's bicep. Pointing at the computer screen she scoffed on her food, "See these blips? They show energy surges around the world." Thor nodded and Loki tried to move and see the screen. Jane propped up and pinpointed one area, "Here, this is the largest energy surge, so this must be where Evalith is." Thor squeezed his eyes, "So where is she?" Jane typed even faster on the keyboard, "London Tower Bridge." Thor and Loki hurried to the door, Jane and Darcy behind them. "You can't come Jane, this is too dangerous. More Dangerous than Malekith." Jane tried to intervene but Thor shook his head and held her back, "I will not risk losing you." Loki felt a pang in his heart, Jane looked down, she felt the sternness in his voice, and she reluctantly agreed.
People everywhere were running and screaming in every which way. Buildings burned and tumbled, the ground was breaking open, and the water began the flood the streets. It was chaos. Running through the Tower of London Park Thor and Loki came upon the highway that leads to the bridge. As soon as the turned up, the pressure of the wind nearly knocked them off their feet. The wind was whirling, lifting cars up and into water. Through the dusty wind Loki could only make out the figure standing in the middle of the bridge. "Evalith!" Loki tried to move forward but he just couldn't. Thor glanced up at the dark sky and summoned thunder and lighting, and it raced toward Evalith, catching her off guard, it burned her back and she twisted around. Her face was pale, the sides of her face were cracked and it spread all the way down her chest and arms. She grimaced and brought the water crashing up and over the bridge, flooding the road. Thor raised the lighting again but this time Evalith dodged, sending streams of Aether encasing him, raising him back off the bridge before slamming him down on the pavement. Loki watched Evalith, he barely recognised her. He ran to Thor, the Aether had drained him of his energy, and he was barely able to move, he immediately looked weak, "You have to find a way to stop her. Remind her of who she really is!" Thor coughed as he tried to stand up, but the Aether dragged him down every time.
Loki braced himself against the car and slowly made his way to the bridge, the heat in the air bashed his skin, "Evalith!" He screamed as loud as he could and she turned, watching the poor man struggling to get near. With all his strength her got closer, his whole body was burning. The sweat rolled down his face, he was only a couple of meters away. "Evalith its Loki! Look at me!" Loki pleaded. Evalith looked up, and watched his eyes, he was getting closer to her now. He could see her face and he could feel his heart swell. For a moment Evalith regained consciousness, she was frightened, "Loki! Help me!" And just like that the Aether took control and sent Loki forcefully to the side of the rails. He could feel his ribs crack against the metal and he yelled in pain.
Evalith blinked and she saw Loki on the other side, "Loki! Help me please it hurts!" Inside the Aether wracked at her brain and it was in control again. Loki mustered the last bit of strength he had in his body and struggled to walk over to her once more. "I love you Evalith" Taking the small knife Loki stabbed Evalith, through the heart. Her eyes jolted open and the Aether bled everywhere. The knife grew hotter in his hands as the Aether poured into it. Evalith went limp in his arms as he held her up. The waters calmed, the fires stopped, and all the destruction reversed itself. The sky was clear and the sun shone. Thor limped to his feet, he felt a few broken bones. He saw Loki kneeling in the middle of the bridge, and he began to cry.
