"Oh" a saddened little girl gasped for the second time that night.

"Daddy, is Finnegan gonna be ok?"

"You know what sweetie? I think he's gonna be just fine."

Finn wasn't completely positive where he should go next, or how he was going to finish this once and for all. He just knew that it needed to end now. He had a new fire lit in his heart. He was going to be fighting for his son (or daughter).

He thought about how odd it was that the OT's hadn't really bothered them in the last however long they'd been in the cae and so on. But he knew where they were. In the same place they were last time. Building their own army, while he was left alone. He was out of wishes. How the HELL was he going to do this?

"You're not completely alone pal" a familiar voice behind him said.

Finn hadn't realized until now that Genie had stuck around. "Are you going to help me Genie?" Finn asked, like a scared little boy afraid of the dark.

"In any way that I can."

"Alright, good, good" Finn said, trying to prepare himself.

"So uh, how are you gonna defeat them?" Genie asked.

"Can you really kill with kindness?" Finn asked the childish question.

"If only" Genie said.

Finn and Genie made there way to the OT's lair in the underground Disney World. As you may have guessed, Finn was oblivious to the discovery of the Court of Miracles and the character that were hiding there. When they came across a sort of brightness, bluish color, Finn knew he had found the OT's.

"Here goes nothing" Finn said while Genie dramatically made the sign of the cross as they made there way through the lair.

"Well well well, it's about time you showed up, after all, we knew you would" Ursula cackled as the rest of the OT's joined in. As Finn had expected, they were all there. The faces that haunted his childhood. Hades was front and center, looking pretty chummy with Captain Hook, while Ursula and Cruella were laughing like old school girls. Frollo was smirking in the corner, clearly enjoying the show, while Chernobog was in the back, but looked as if he was parting the way for a black cloaked figure, with the unmistaken able green face.

"Hello Finn" she smiled, clearly enjoying how things were panning out.

"Long time no see greeny."

"Ohh good one Finn" Genie said.

"Shut up Genie!" Jafar, who appeared out of nowhere yelled.

"Calm Jafar, or I'll deal with you later."

"There's not going to be a later Maleficent" Finn shouted, praying he was right.

"I want you gone forever Finn Whitman, and I always get what I want" she snarled.

"Is that why you ended up in the swamp?"

"How DARE you!" She screamed, sending sparks from her walking staf.

"I once made a deal with you Finn, that I would leave your little friends alone, as long as you gave me what I want."

"I also recall you backing out on your end of the deal" Finn pointed out, remembering prom night.

"Yes, well, I'm ready to negotiate once more, but I'll keep my word this time" she grinned. "Your friends are gone this time."

Finn did agree she had a point, but he still couldn't bring himself to believe her. "I'm still finding this hard to believe" he stated the obvious.

"Do you really want to take that chance?" Maleficent spoke the truth. Deep down, he knew he shouldn't trust her, but the fear of what could happen scared him. Then, something occurred to him. "You'll never win you know. You may put on a show and all, and sure, cause harm to us, but you'll never defeat us. Never!"

"and I thought I was good at speeches" Genie sighed a proud sigh.

"What makes you so sure of yourself and your little happy ending Mr. Whitman?"

"Good always defeats evil. That's how you were written. You never win. And you never will" Finn sighed, just now realizing the truth that had been there all along.

Maleficent froze and made no sign of moving. She stared coldly at Finn, knowing how this was going to end.

"Too bad greeny, but you lose." Finn said, with a stroke of confidence.

"If Walt had wanted you all to win, this would be different, but he didn't. And he's not around to change the story now."

Maleficent had been defeated without a fight, argument, (well, much) or battle, and with all of them in one piece.

But Finn still couldn't breath easy. The look on Maleficent's face was perhaps the reason. "I may not win, but that doesn't mean I can't cause some harm."

It took Finn about ½ a second to realize what was happening. Maleficent had waved her staf towards him, canting something that he knew wouldn't feel good in the morning. He darted out of the way of the first spell, but eh wasn't quite sure how he was going to escape the rest of the OT's that were now all darting in his direction. What happened next both scared the pants off him, and made him the happiest person in the world.
