Epilogue

Later that night

Finn always imagined he'd forget what that tingling feeling felt like, but he was wrong. It still gave him slight shivers, even though he was anticipating it this time.

He was thrilled when Philby agreed to this, even more when he discovered Philby remembered how.

He hadn't told Amanda of his idea, but knew she'd be ok with it…he hoped.

He was honestly worried how everyone would feel about meeting up at the Magic Kingdom at two in the morning. Once he gathered his surroundings, he took a seat on a nearby park bench. He figured Philby wouldn't be too much longer, considering he was aware of tonight's schedule of events. As he expected, Philby showed up a few minutes after Finn. "Hey dude, what's new?"

"Just wait" Finn smiled.

"I feel like I have a slight advantage and don't have to wait for everyone else" Philby pointed out.

"She knows" Finn grinned.

"Really?! Awesome!" Philby exclaimed more excitedly than Finn had imagined. "What'd she say?!" he anxiously asked.

"You can wait" Finn teased. To Finn's surprise, Amanda showed up next.

"What the, Finn!" he shrunk down, suddenly afraid of what would happen next. "How did, wait a second" Finn knew she'd noticed Philby's presence. "What's going on?" she asked.

"All in good time" Philby explained as she took a seat next to Finn.

"What's this about? Why didn't you tell me? You're lucky I came with this much clothing."

At that remark, Finn and Philby froze, not thinking about Maybeck and Charlene, the more recently married of the group who didn't have kids…

"Oops" Finn broke the silence while Amanda shook her head.

"Charlie's gonna have your heads" Amanda said as she shook hers.

Thankfully, Charlene and Maybeck showed up fully (well, Charlie was) clothed, with shocked looks on their faces as to their current location.

"Thanks for the heads up guys" Maybeck said, while glancing down at his pajama pants, as they all noticed he was lacking a shirt.

"Yeah guys, thank goodness you didn't do this last night" Charlene said before she could stop herself. " I mean, oh nevermind" she gave up as she plopped down against the lamppost, trying to ignore Philby's cackle. "Oh grown up and be adults" she snapped.

"Which you've made very clear that we are" Philby stopped laughing long enough to say as Finn couldn't wipe the idiotic smile off his face. Even Amanda was grinning.

"How long do you think Willa will be?" Finn asked, trying to avoid Maybeck's gaze, and almost purple with embarrassment, face.

"Not too long. She said she was just going to check on Rose then come to bed" Philby answered.

Willa appeared in what looked like a giant sweatshirt and sweatpants by the time Maybeck's face had returned to normal color.

"I don't remember you wearing that?" Philby questioned his wife.

"Yeah, well I don't remember you mentioning crossing over tonight either so now we're even" she smirked.

"Preach" Amanda jumped in.

"But I had a hunch, you never go to bed THAT early, and you were talking to Finn pretty late on the phone, so I came prepared just in case…oh good, you both are dressed" Willa said, looking at both Charlene and Maybeck.

"Really?!" Maybeck exclaimed as every burst out in laughter again.

"I put on about three sweatshirts, here ya go Charlie, Maybeck."

"Always prepared" Philby beamed at Willa, who returned with a wink and a smile.

"So why are we here anyway boy's?" looking at Finn as well as her husband.

"Well, I wanted to talk to everyone" Finn admitted.

"You know, we have phones" Charlene bluntly said as she bundled up in her sweatshirt.

"No, in person."

"We live on the same block" Maybeck said, quite loudly, causing everyone to laugh again.

"I know, but…oh shoot, I just thought it'd be nice to get together here" Finn said, trying no tot get frustrated.

"It is nice" Charlene admitted while everyone eventually agreed. "I missed this place, and coming here."

"Me too" Amanda said.

"Yeaaaaah so did I" Maybeck said, surrendering, finally enjoying the current setting.

"Why are we here Finn?" Willa asked.

Finn look at Amanda and grinned, "Wendy knows."

"Aww really?!" Charlene squealed in excitement.

"It was her bedtime story tonight."

"Aww that's great Finn, I'm glad she knows. Now we can tell Rose" Willa said, looked at Philby as if for permission. He shrugged with a nod combination.

"Did you tell her it was us beforehand?" Philby asked.

"Nope, she figured it out" Finn answered.

"Well you didn't exactly give her much room for imagination, especially with Wilber" Amanda grinned.

"Wilber? Wilber?! That's what you came up with? Oh that's just great, I'll never live this down" the now flustered Willa said.

"Now now Wilber, don't worry, we can give Finn any name we want with our version" Philby said, improving Willa's reaction drastically.

"Dare I ask who I was?" Charlene asked.

"Oh, you were Charlie" Finn assured her.

"Good" she smiled.

"Is that why you wanted us here Finn? Not that I'm complaining" Maybeck asked.

"Yes…and no" Finn said "I've kinda missed this. The adventures, late nights, being in front of the castle in the moonlight, and all of you."

"You miss old times" Amanda said for him.

"Finn, we all miss it, even I do, and I'm the least sensitive of us all" Maybeck shrugged.

"But we can't dwell on it, we have to move on" Charlene said.

"I have," Finn insisted, "I've just been reminiscing. Seeing the look on Wendy's face, just made me want to have one more night at the Magic Kingdom with my best friends."

"She really loved our story didn't she" Willa smiled like a proud aunt.

"Yeah" Finn said quietly.

"Who said this had to be our last night?" Philby said.

"What do you mean dork?" Maybeck asked, receiving one of Philby's looks he was all too familiar with.

"I mean, I was able to figure the technology out again, I don't see why this has to be our last night" he explained.

"Does this mean…" Willa started.

"I don't see why not" Philby smiled.

"So maybe we could meet here, once a month? Or week? Depending on the children of course" Maybeck suggested.

"And depending on you and Charlie's, ahem, current situation" Willa teased.

"I wouldn't worry about that," Charlene blushed, "Everybody, we've got something to tell you."

"Ahhhh!" Amanda and Willa screamed at the same time as they tackled Charlene in a hug.

"I'm so glad our children will be close in age!" Amanda exclaimed.

"Do you know if it's a girl?!" Willa asked excitedly.

"Or a boy?!" Finn and Philby asked, missing out on the excitement.

Charlene looked at Maybeck who simply nodded.

"It's a boy."

"YES!" was all the boys could say.

Charlene received another hug from Willa and Amanda, while Philby and Finn noticed that Maybeck had gone pale.

"Nervous?" Finn asked.

"Oh yeah, in a big way" Maybeck chuckled, "but, if you guys can do it, I guess I can too, right?" he asked seriously.

"Of course" Philby said.

"And we'll be here every step of the way" Finn followed.

"Thanks, you know, I'm really looking forward to becoming a father."

"Good, you don't really have a choice" Charlene teased.

"This is so exciting" Willa squealed like a little girl.

"We should celebrate" Amanda said.

"I agree, Casey's anyone?" Finn suggested.

"Sounds great" Maybeck agreed.

The six friends made there way, arms wrapped around each other, down Main Street U.S.A., and memory lane, where they would gather for many years to come.

I'm pretty sure I almost cried at this ending.

The author's note will be posted later tomorrow night. There's a lot I need/want to say to all my loyal and faithful fans.

You're all the best and thank you for sticking with me!
