Shilpam…agar apne bhi yehi socha tha ki ACP sir ka case is tarah ka hi hoga to apki baat galat hote hote reh gayi…kyoki maine bahut hi different story sochi thi ACP ke part ke liye par exams ke tension me sab dhul gaya aur majbooran mujhe wohi purane ideas use karne pare…

As I had not updated the story for quite a long time now so lets have a quick revision…
Abhijeet found a photo of ACP sir with a guy giving a gun to him and taking some cash from him…the guy is found to be a gali ka gunda…Abhi went to bureau but he didn't found ACP sir there so he made excuse to others and went to meet Daya in his cell…there both spend a soothing time in each other's company and gain back their lost energy…Abhi also took some advice about the case from him…after the visit Abhi along with Freddy went to a village like place and caught hold of that guy whose photo was found with ACP sir…also it was disclosed that the video that had made their whole life upside down was a morphing done on ACP's face…and ACP sir is missing…Abhi take that man to interrogation room and now even I don't know what's gonna happen with that bechara(as called by Freddy and me too :)) let's see what happens…
After an hour or so the interrogation room door opened…Abhijeet came out of the room with extremely angry face…all others who were waiting for him now looked at each other…they were all willing to know what that man told but who dared to go in front of a bhookha sher…
Abhi was moving out of the bureau in full rage when he suddenly stopped and turned towards all…they hurridly started moving towards their desks in fear…after that Abhi completely moved out…he was in the parking lot and about to open the car door when he heard someone calling him from behind…
Voice: Sirr…sirrr..
He turned and found Freddy jogging towards him…
Abhi: Freddy…kya hua…aise bhagte hue kyu aa rahe ho..
Freddy: Sir apne kaha tha ki kisi ko pata na chale isiliye ander kuch nahi pucha…(he stopped for a while for regaining his breath and then started again)…sir usne kya kaha? Kuch pata chala ACP sir ke bare me…
Abhi: Isi baat ka to gussa hai Freddy ki kuch pata hi nahi chal raha hai…wo aadmi jo uss photo me ACP sir ke sath thaw o koi gunda nahi hai…balki ek undercover agent hai…ACP sir aksar usse zaroorat ki cheeze provide kerte rehte hai secret tareeke se….par is baar us aadmi ne dekh liya…(he was so disappointed…) itni mushkil se ek kadi hath lagi thi par wo bhi…(and he sighs disappointedly…)

Abhi: Freddy samjha karo…agar aisa karenge to hi to hume pata chal payega na ki.….(just then his mobile rings…)
He takes out his mobile and look at the screen….it was Sachin calling him…he picked it up…
Abhi(on call): Haan Sachin…haan Freddy mere sath hi hai…nahi kahi nahi gaye hai hum…yahi hai bureau ke cafeteria me…haan wo ek case discuss kerne lage the to dhyaan nahi raha…hum aate hai abhi…(and he cut the call and turns towards Freddy…)…Freddy andar chalte hai wapas…par tum ACP sir ki call details nikalwa lo…aur sath me ek din pehle se lekar abhi tak ki unke mobile locations ka bhi pata lagwao…par aur kisi se iss case ke baare me koi bhi baat nahi kerni hai…pata hai na…
Freddy: Aap chinta mat kariye sir…kisi ko kuch bhi pata nahi chalega jab tak aap nahi batate…(Abhi nodded satisfactorily and they moved inside…)
After sometime Freddy got the call details and mobile location details of ACP…so he moved towards Abhi and told him about that in low voice so that nobody is able to hear them…
Freddy: Sir…aapne jo kaha tha wo ho gaya…
Abhi nodded slightly and added: Theek hai tum jao apne desk par…mai dekhta hu…
Freddy was confused as Abhi didn't ask about the details but still he quietly move to his desk and sits there…suddenly his mobile beeps…he check it and was even more confused to see abhi texting him when he was present there only…he opened the message…it read..
'Ek kaam karo…mujhe mail ker do…hum yaha discuss nahi ker sakte sab ke samne aur waise bhi unki nazar shayad ab bhi hum logo per ho…tum apne desk par hi rehkar dekho…kuch pata chale to mujhe batana'
Freddy looked at Abhi after reading the message and found him already looking at him…both share a nod and then Freddy do his part of job…they both try to grab something of the situation without letting others know about it…
After the day's work was over, both left together…they went to Abhi's home to discuss the details…
Abhi's place…
Freddy was sitting on the sofa...after sometime, Abhi came there with two cups of coffee…he passed a cup to Freddy and in response he smiled and took the cup…Abhi took his cup and both sat there quietly for sometime…Freddy was sipping his coffee but Abhi was not…he was in some other world…he was holding the cup tightly in his hand…as if trying to take the warmth from it and gain some energy…he was sitting with his elbows supported on his legs and was continuously staring at the floor…
Freddy(softly): Sir…(but there was no response…Freddy softly placed his hand over his shoulder…Abhi came out of his thoughts with that…he sat straight and sighed deeply…he closed his eyes for a minute and then looked at Freddy after placing the cup on the table…)
Freddy: Sir…aap theek hai…warna hum badme…
Abhi(cut him): Nahi Freddy…mai theek hu…don't worry…
Freddy: OK sir...
Abhi: To…kuch mila sir ke call details se…
Freddy: Sab kuch normal hai…kuch pata nahi chala mujhe to…(Abhi smiled at him…Freddy looked at him and understood he have something running in his brain…)..kya hua sir…aapko kuch pata chala…
Abhi: Nahi Freddy…kuch khas to nahi par itna zaroor pata chal gaya hai ki sir auto se hi gaye the waha…
Freddy(amazed): Apko call details dekhkar ye bhi pata chal gaya…
Abhi: Haan…dekho Freddy…uss aadmi ne sir ko waha par kareeban sham ke 4 baje dekha tha…aur agar hum maan ke chale ki gadi ya auto job hi hai…uski speed average thi to sir ke ghar se waha jane me 2.5 hours se 3 hours lagte hai…(Freddy nodded..)…matlab sir ghar se 12.30 se 1 baje ke beech nikle honge…right…
Freddy(after thinking something): Yes sir…bureau se to sir 11 baje hi nikal gaye the aur bureau se unke ghar jane me 20 se 25 minute hi lagte hai…matlab sir bureau se pehele apne ghar gaye aur ek ghante baad uss jagah nikal gaye…
Abhi: Nahi Freddy…sir bureau se ghar nahi gaye…balki ek PCO me gaye…
Freddy(confused): PCO me..? (innocently)..kyu sir unka mobile kaam nahi ker raha tha kya…?
Abhi: Arre Freddy…mobile ko kuch nahi hua tha…sir uss agent ko PCO se hi call kerte the humesha…interrogation ke time usne hi bataya tha…maine tabhi usse us PCO ka number le liya tha jaha se sir ne is baar use call kiya tha…aur mobile company se pata lagwaya ki wo PCO kaha situated hai…phir apne ek khabri ki madad se confirm karwa liya ki ACP sir sachme waha gaye the ya nahi…
Freddy: Wah sir…apne bureau me baithe baithe itna sab kuch pata laga liya…(Abhi smiles..)…par sir aapko ye kaise pata ki sir auto se hi gaye the…kisi aur ke sath nahi…
Abhi: Sir ne kal 12.30 se pehle…yani ki uss jagah par jane se pehle sirf do hi calls kiye the…ek tha Salunkhe sir ko…ek case ke silsile me…jaisa ki tumne bataya tha…aur tab tum bhi wahi the to tumne unki baate bhi suni thi…(freddy nodded)…aur dusra call to Freddy unhone tumhe hi kiya tha…abb…tumne agar sir ko pahuchaya ho waha tak to….
Freddy(hurriedly): Arre nahi nahi sir…maine unhe kidnap nahi kiya…(with this, Abhi suddenly burst out laughing on such response of Freddy…Freddy was first confused but then he too joined him when he understood what he said…)
After sometime they stop laughing and again come on the point…
Freddy: Abb hum kya karenge sir…?
Abhi: Kerna kya hai Freddy…uss auto wale ko dhundte hai jisne sir ko waha chora tha…agar wapasi ke waqt kuch hua hoga to usse hume zaroor kuch na kuch pata chalega…
They both left then only and went to the nearest auto stand…they showed ACP sir's photo to every auto driver present there…after a long hour of questioning everyone, they finally found something useful when they were talking to a driver…
Driver: Arre sahab ye to ACP Pradyuman hai na…jo yaha aage wali gali me rehte hai…

Freddy: Kaha hai ye Raju…
Driver: Pata nahi sahab…aaj aya nahi…kal ACP sahab ke sath gaya th to uske baad waps hi nahi aya…maine call bhi kiya tha par usne jyada baat nahi ki…bahut dara hua lag raha tha…aur uske baad to uska mobile hi band aa raha hai…
Abhi(to Freddy): Raju dara hua lag raha tha…matlab ye zaroor kuch janta hoga ACP sir ki kidnapping ke baare me…shayad ye bhi tab sir ke sath hi hoga…tabhi dara hua hai…
Freddy: Haan sir…iss Raju se milte hai…ab wohi kuch batayega…(to driver)…ghar kaha hai Raju ka pata hai tumhe…
Driver: Haan sahab pata hai…mai lekar chalta hu aap ko…mujhe bhi badi chinta ho rahi hai uski…
They move to Raju's home with the auto driver…
Raju's home…
They knocked the door but no one opened it…they knocked it 2-3 times more but still no response was there…then finally had to open it with their own methods…they entered but couldn't see anyone around…Abhijeet and Freddy started searching the house…after a few minutes Freddy called him…Abhi came to him…
Abhi: Kya hua Freddy…kuch mila…
Freddy gestured him to look under the bed…Abhi did so and found Raju hiding under it…he was looking very scared…the other auto driver also came forward to see what happened…and with the help of him, they pulled Raju outside…they made him sit on the bed and gave a glass of water to him…after a while he calmed down a bit…
Seeing him alright, Abhi spoke: Dekho Raju…ghabrane ki baat nahi hai...hum log CID se hai…
Freddy: Kal tum inko(showing him ACP's photo) kahi lekar gaye the?
Raju was again getting scared…however his friend relaxed him…
Raju: Ha…haan sahab…mai hi kal inhe lekar gaya tha…mai to kabhi us jagah gaya bhi nahi tha pehele…ye sahab hi mujhe rasta bata rahe the…
Abhi: Waha exactly hua kya tha…

Freddy: Sir…ACP sir kise call ker rahe honge…
Abhi: Shayad kisi ko un bikers ke baare me batane ke liye…ya phir uss agent ko protect kerne ke liye…
Raju: Unhone koi naam bhi liya tha jab wo call ker rahe the tab…kya naam tha…wo…kuch…Abh..haan sahab yaad aya…Abhijeet keh rahe the shayad…(Abhijeet looked at him shocked…)
Abhi(shocked): ACP sir…m..mujhe call ker rahe the…
Freddy: Sir shayad unhe pata chal gaya ho ki wo bikers unka hi peecha ker rahe the isiliye wo aapko inform ker rahe ho iss baare me…
Abhi: Aur mai kuch ker bhi nahi paya…(he was angry over himself…)
Freddy knew there was no use of dragging the topic more as Abhijeet will make himself feel more guilty…thus he tried to distract his mind for the time being…he questioned Raju further…
Freddy(to Raju): Uske baad kya hua tha…
And as expected, Abhijeet's attention came on Raju as he started speaking…Freddy smiled secretely and then he too turned his attention towards Raju…
Raju: Sahab…wo gunday kuch der tak humara peecha kerte rahe aur phir achanak unme se ek mere auto ke samne aa gaya…majbooran mujhe breaks lagane pade…phir wo dono bike wale neeche utar ke humari taraf aye…wo raasta bahut sakra(narrow) tha sahab isiliye mai side se bhi nahi nikal paya auto ko aur hum dono bikes ke beech me phas gaye...tabhi ye photo wale sahab neeche utare aur un gundo ke sath auto se thori door jaaker kuch baat kerne lage…unn logo me kaafi behes hui sahab…ye sahab bhi bahut pareshan dikh rahe the…

Raju: Phir unme se ek gunda meri taraf aya aur (again he started sweating badly…he wiped his sweat and spoke again)…aur mujhe kheech ke auto se bahar nikala…sahab usne mere sir pe bandook taan di…(and he started crying in fear…after he calmed down)…mujhe maarne ki dhamki dene lage in sahab ko aur inn sahab ne mujhe bachane ke liye kaha ki wo unki baat manne ke liye tayar hai…unho ne tab bhi mujhe nahi chora aur unke saamne hi kisi ko call kerne ki baat kahi…inhone waisa hi kiya…tab un logo ne mujhe chora…in sahab ne mujhe ishara kiya ki mai nikal jau waha se to mai to nikal gaya…par haan…aate waqt maine waha pe ek gadi ko aate hue dekha…aur maine apni auto ke sheeshe me dekha tha ki wo gadi bhi unn gundo ke paas hi jaker ruki thi…
Freddy: Matlab sir wo gadi wala bhi un logo ke sath mila hua tha…aur shayad ACP sir ko usi gadi me lekar gaye honge…(they kept talking while waking out of the house…)
Abhi: Haan Freddy…(he was in deep thoughts…Freddy understood the reason behind…Abhi was still blaming himself for not being able to save ACP sir…)
Freddy: Sir..(Abhi looked at him)…sir isme aapki koi galti nahi thi…uss waqt to aap behosh the na…agar aapko pata hota to aap bacha hi lete na…
Abhi: Jo bhi ho Freddy…sach to yahi hai ki sir ne mujhe call kiya tha par phir bhi mai unhe nahi bacha paya…(his voice shaked a bit while saying the last few words but he composed himself and moved from there towards their car…Freddy also followed him and they started their journey back to home…)
On the way they kept discussing the case as they may not get the chance to discuss it while in bureau…

Till then they had reached Freddy's home…Abhi put the breaks…

Freddy: Kya…per maine to ACP sir ke call details ke liye apne mobile se hi call kiya tha…
Abhi: Koi baat nahi…wo waise bhi chahte hai ki hum sir pe shak kare…unke hisaab se to hum isiliye unke details nikalwa rahe hai…
Freddy(smiles): Acha sir…phir mai chalta hu…par aap ghar ja ker khana kha lijiye ga sir…warna Daya sir…
Abhi(cut him in irritation): Yaar Freddy please…ab tum mujhe Daya sir ki dhamkiya mat do…samjhe…
Freddy: Kya karu sir…bas yahi ek dawai aap par kaam kerti hai…(he said smiling…)
Abhi: Freddy…tum jate ho ki…
Freddy: Gud night sir…(saying so he quickly closed the door and almost ran towards his home…)
Abhi(still looking at Freddy whispered in low voice): Dayaa…(and he smiled lightly and sighed heavily…and then he drove back to home…)
At Abhi's home…
He entered the bed room and threw his coat on the bed…he sat with his laptop and pulled the screen up but then he remembered the conversation with Daya and Freddy's dhamki…he shut the laptop and placed it on the side and went out to the kitchen…
Abhi(whispered to himself): Vishwas nahi hota ki sab mujhe dhamkiya diye ja rahe hai aur bhi chupchap unki dhamkiyo ko maan raha hu…Senior Inspector Abhijeet…huh...! (he took out some frozen food from the freezer and put them in the oven and set the time)…par Daya ka khauf bhi to kam nahi hota…uski baatein to ACP sir tak nahi taal pate to mai kis khet ki mooli hu…(he took out his food and served it for himself…he went to the dinning table and started eating while still murmuring to himself)…ek baar ye case khatam ho jaye phir dekhta hu sabko…ek ek dhamki ka hisaab lunga sabse…dost aur collegues to theek…aaj kal mere hi informers mujhe dhamkiya dene lage hai…wo bhi kiski…Daya sir…(he took another bite..)…iss Daya ko to mai dekhta hu baadme…iske sath to bahut sara hisaab chukta kerna baaki hai mera…itne dino me jo jo karnaame kiye hai inn DAYA SIR ne…har ek cheez ka badla lena hai mujhe…
After he finished his dinner, he went back to his bed room and started his work…he reviewed the whole case…the things they discovered that day…noted a few points in the notepad…made a few calls…again reviewed the recent findings and made mental notes of what action will he take the next day…
After everything was set, he took a sigh of relief…now he had a satisfactory expression on his face…he looked at the clock…it was almost 12 at night…
Abhi(in mind): Sirf 5 ghante aur Daya…sirf 5 ghante…(and he smiled looking at the photograph hanging on the wall which had three faces smiling with the joy of victory…)

I know it was late, but I am helpless when it comes to studies…as I get distracted very easily, especially when it comes to CID, so the only way to get concentrated on the studies is to leave my laptop and internet for a few days…and that's what I did this time also…extremely sorry for being so late… :(
