Chapter 9

I was gasping and sweating at the same time, it felt like I ran for eight hours straight. I looked at the note and opened it up. It was in Japanese and if you know me I can't speak Japanese. I looked at my clock, it was three in the morning. I suggested that none of my friends are sleeping so I took out my phone and called up Ethan. It rang five times before he picked it up.

"Hello," said a groggy voice.

"Ethan, we're you sleeping?" I asked.

"No, I'm trying not to sleep, so what's up?"

"Well unfortunately I fell asleep, thank the lord I'm still alive."

"What happened?"

"Well, we're being chased by this demon named Bloodwing and somehow in my dream I was rescued by some girl."

"Which girl?"

"I don't know who she was, but she left me note and I have it with me."

"What does it say?"

"I don't know, it's in Japanese."

"We may have to call Benny, he should know a translation spell."

"Should we stop over?"

"No, it's late wait until school tomorrow."

"Okay, I guess that's fine."

I hung up my phone, I tried my best not to fall asleep but the pain was killing me literally. I had to check the time over and over again and I looked out the window waiting for the sun to come up. Staying awake was a bit easy for me, but I knew after a while I would have to sleep.

I thought vampires never had to sleep, it turns out that they can go longer without sleep. They eventually do have to sleep. I was watching the sun come up and I felt my eyes get all heavy. I heard the sound of my alarm clock. I turned it off gently and yawned. I was beat.

I knew that I had to go to school so I walked out of my room and into the upstairs bathroom. I shut the door behind me and opened up the white medicine cabinet to retrieve toothpaste and I got my blue toothbrush off the chrome holder.

I was slightly seeing double vision and my head felt dizzy. I started noticing a figure behind me in the mirror, it looked like a girl with pale skin and messed up white hair with a white dress on. I slightly screamed and turned around, no one was behind me. I also had to remember to take the note with me.

FOFOFOFOFOFO

While on my way to school, I made sure to stop by the church to get some holy water to prevent me from sleeping. So whenever I would feel tired I can pour it on myself and it'll burn me. I walked into the building, everything seemed to be in slow motion.

When I got to my locker I noticed Ethan standing next door to me trying to keep his head up.

"Rough night, huh?" I said talking to him.

"I almost got my head ripped off by an evil demon," Ethan said.

"Well, they can't hurt us when we're awake so right now let's just stay that way."

While talking the both of us saw Benny yawning really loudly.

"I feel like fainting right now," he said.

"Benny, I was wondering if you knew any translation spells."

"Yeah, I know one, why?"

"In my dream last night I was given a note by a girl, but it's in Japanese for some reason, and when I woke up it was right beside me."

I handed Benny the note. He looked at it like he was concentrating and then his eyes glowed a bright blue colour. The paper flashed and then the note was in English.

It can be closed by the power of the dark one.

And, you will need to request a three sacrifice the one power.

It will be closed permanently and work spells.

The other way is more complicated.

Spell master, they became evil eventually, you will need to run the black magic that allows you to destroy the world itself, and take control of the spell itself fatal, if you do not seal the portal properly In order to prevent that it does not.

"Benny, this note doesn't make sense at all."

"Sorry, it's a direct translation so it won't make sense."

"We may have to do more research later, meet me at the library after school," I said.

FOFOFOFOFOFO

The entire day felt like forever, good thing the library was open after school hours. I met up with Ethan and Benny and we went to the nearest computers.

"So, who is this dark one?" Ethan asked.

"I think it's the demon I met, Bloodwing is his name, he's going to start the apocalypse."

"I'm reading the note and it doesn't seem to give any clear instruction on how to close the portal."

"Let me see it," I asked.

Ethan handed me the note while he searched some stuff up on the computer. I read over it a couple of times and drew up some conclusions in my head.

"Okay, I have some ideas, but there's no guarantee it'll work, it's either saying we sacrifice three mortals to the underworld or we use Bloodwing's power against him to close the portal."

"From what I read the dark one is weak without the portal and can not live in the real world," Ethan said.

"So that's what we have to do right? We just have to find Bloodwing and use his power against him," Benny said.

"And then we can get pizza!" said a voice startling me.

I turned around and saw Rory smiling.

"Sure, Rory, we just have to get things ready and hopefully we all survive."

I wasn't really being serious, I just wanted Rory to get off our backs for a while as we got this settled. We finally had a plan, but I still remembered what Mrs. Weir said, our chances of surviving this were very low so that created a huge pit in my stomach.

So so so so so so sorry for not uploading in almost two months I just didn't have any inspiration to write. The next chapter will the the final chapter of the story.
