Hey guys I'm so bored so I thought I would update. How about you fave, follow and comment to make me smile?
Snuggling deeper into the mattress I wrapped the covers around me tightly curling into a ball. I placed my arm across the bed sleepily before tapping my hand in various places trying to find the missing figure. Sighing in frustration I sat up lonely and looked around the room longingly.
"Hey" I sighed cheerfully happy to see the figure standing there in the corner of the room staring out the window to view the gloomy weather.
"Hey yourself" he smiled as he crept over to me quietly trying not to wake anyone else up with the fear of being interrupted and having to part ways. "I bet it must feel nice to not have to sleep in a hospital bed for the first time in a while" he sighed happily snuggling into the mattress.
"Don't even get me started" I sighed smiling at the moment. It was also the first time in a while that I'd been happy, complete; it was about the first time in nine years. "But I think I preferred the welcome home gift" I smirked wrapping my arms around his neck seductively.
"Well you can get use to that" he whispered huskily in my ear in his sexy morning voice.
"Oh really?" I giggled pulling him in for a kiss. "Actually... I think I'm getting bored of it" I teased pretending to be serious.
"My lips taste as good as sweets" he corrected drawing circled on my back.
"Well it's a good thing I prefer chocolate then" I taunted as my lips brushed his.
"Stop the PDA, I repeat stop the PDA!" Jesus warned walking through the door covering his eyes.
"You're all good man" Brandon snickered as Jesus removed his arm from his eyes to see him kiss me again.
"Guys!" he whined as he threw the nearest cushion at us.
"You asked for it" I laughed as he sulked throwing another pillow at me.
"Hey don't throw anything at my girlfriend" Brandon threatened jokingly wrapping his arm around me.
"Girlfriend? Really?" Jesus asked surprised.
"Were you not at the hospital or what?" He asked probably wondering how anyone could be that stupid.
"Yeah but I just thought it was a hormonal thing... huh... well you two are cute together" he congratulated as he walked further into the room.
"Actually I'm not his girlfriend" I added as they both turned to stare at me in shock.
"W-what?" he stuttered too hurt to know what to say.
"You never asked" I said defensively as I threw my hands up.
"Huh" Brandon mumbled standing up quickly. "Please could you both leave now? I've got some important things to do" he said hurriedly as he ushered us out of the room.
"But-"
"I'll talk to you in a bit" he smiled reassuringly to me as he closed the door. It may have meant to be reassuring to me but it wasn't, not at all.
"Ok then" I sighed and slowly trudged towards Mariana's room and flopped down onto the bed.
"Morning" she giggled as she sat up in bed ferociously tapping the keys on her phone.
"Ugh why are you so happy?" I groaned as smothered my face into my pillow.
"The question should be why are you so down?" Mariana corrected as she looked up from her phone to send me a quick smile before eagerly turning back to her phone. "I thought you would a bit happy judging from last night" she taunted giving me a knowing look.
"You are so disgusting" I gasped but giggling slightly.
"What so you didn't... y' know... do it?" Mariana questioned shocked with her moth hung open.
"Nope" I sighed. What if we did end up doing it? I don't think I could mentally go though it so soon. After everything I think I have to be sure it is going to be with the right person. I love Brandon but I just don't know how long it will be before... before I could go all the way.
"Wow I thought for sure that-"
"We didn't ok?" I said quietly wishing she would just drop the subject.
"Are you a virgin?" Mariana whispered excitedly.
"N- well I guess no but ye- you know what it's complicated" I stuttered uncomfortably. Was 'girl talk' always this... personal?
"You either are or you aren't" she laughed as she replied to a message on her phone.
"What are you doing today?" I asked quietly playing with the hem on my sleeve growing more uncomfortable by the second.
"I am so fed up of this rain I can't do anything! It's been forever since I hung out with my friends" she groaned in frustration as the happy smiles diapered as she glared out the window. "It's been raining like this for at least a week now" she muttered coldly as she lay back and sulked.
"Did it stop raining while I was in hospital?" I asked as I glanced out the window to be met with the cold ferocious pitch black sky that wrapped around the house, as if it was trying to smother us with it's bitter piercing evil soul.
"Nope, it's torture" she replied sadly turning her nose up in disgust. I let a pained expression over take my face as my mind went back to the night Brandon and I had a fight down stairs the night the storm started. Over time the heavy rain escalated into a powerful storm as if it was representing our complications becoming more tangled.
"Mariana why don't you go hang out with your friends? It's driving you crazy. And anyway you guys hangout at the mall" I chuckled lightly as she raised her eyebrows in confusion. "It's inside" I added to try and make myself clear.
"Oh believe me I would but Lena and Stef say that it's too dangerous for me to get to the mall since I don't have a car" she sighed as she got up from her bed to get dressed.
"You don't strike me as the kind of girl that doesn't sneak out" I scoffed as I watched her move sluggishly around the room.
"Oh I do, I just don't want to ruin my hair" she said seriously as she grabbed sweatpants and a sweatshirt from her wardrobe.
"Ok I haven't known you for that long but I know you're the type of person to only pull the sweatpants out when you're depressed" I asserted as I threw the clothes back in her closet.
"Want to come with me?" she screamed excitedly as if the life had been thrown back into her suddenly.
"Uh... me?... The mall? I'm not sure about that!" I rambled unsure of what to think.
"Yeah it would be perfect sisterly bonding!" she squealed happily jumping up and down.
"Calm down" I breathed holding her shoulder firm in place.
"Pleasssse" she pouted giving me the puppy eyes.
"Fine" I grumbled as began to slowly get ready.
"You go get something to eat, I'll be down in a minute" she said as she rushed around the room excitedly.
"Sure" I mumbled as I walked into the hallway.
"Wait Mariana?" I spoke turning back.
"Yeah?" she asked as she started to run around the room.
"How did you know that Brandon and I were... together?" I questioned curiously.
"Oh c'mon it was easy to tell; especially last night. You guys had your guard down. You and Brandon couldn't ever sit there carelessly before because you were so caught up in wondering what the other one felt. You could just tell the tension had gone." She answered truthfully.
"Huh... thanks" I mumbled before turning back to the hallway again.
As I got to the stairs I slowly turned around to face Brandon's door at end the end of the hall. It looked so inviting. But I couldn't he wanted to do something and I had to respect that. I just want to know why he was acting so strange; I mean it wasn't because of me was it? Maybe he thinks I don't love him after I said we weren't dating; which is true, I mean the dating thing not the not loving him thing. What if he doesn't want to be with me now? He wouldn't think that, right? I took one step towards his door down the hallway that looked never ending all of a sudden, but then hastily made my way down the stairs and rushed to the kitchen.
"Why the haste?" Stef asked happily as she appeared from the corner of the room out of nowhere" gasping I turned round to her and the rest of them sitting at the table.
"God you scared me!" I panted as I cautiously walked up to the table. I furrow my brows when my gaze met with Brandon sitting at the table smiling at me. I thought he was meant to be working on something something in his room... so it was really to get rid of me then?
"Are you feeling ok?" Lena asked worriedly as she walked over and placed her hand on my head in haste.
"Ha ha um... yeah I was just wrapped up in my thoughts. I didn't think anyone would be in here so um... yeah" I mumbled as I sat down at the table and grabbed some pancakes and orange juice quietly.
"How did you sleep?" Lena asked kindly trying to involve me in the conversation.
"She slept like a baby. I swear if she moved one more inch she would have been on top of him. Maybe that's where they ended up last night. Their legs interlocked this morning because-" Jesus smirked trying to control the laughter.
"Jesus!" Stef scolded laughing too as she whacked his arm.
"N-no it wasn't like that!" We stammered blushing uncontrollably.
"Well don't get use to it though because the sleeping arrangements aren't changing because of this. It's not forbidden because we trust you but Callie has her own room. Got it?" Stef said seriously but her smile ruined the intimidation.
"Got it" we answered quickly as we finished up our food and began to leave the table.
"I'm sorry about earlier. I've still got some things to do but can we hang out later?" he asked sweetly as we made our way up the stairs.
"Wait so you're not angry at me?" I asked surprised as we stopped at Mariana's door.
"For what?" he asked as his hands went to my waist.
"Never mind" reassured as he bent down to kiss me gently.
"What are you going to do?" he questioned as he wrapped me in a hug.
"I'm going to the mall with Mariana" I mumbled as I groaned inside my head at the idea of shopping.
"You shopping?" he asked as he stifled a laugh.
"Yeah yeah yeah, laugh all you want" I groaned as I walked into the room.
"Hey where is my goodbye kiss?" he called after me pouting.
"You don't get one now" I taunted laughing as I walked over to Mariana letting him sulk all the way back to his room.
"You ready?" I asked as I sat by Mariana who was tying her shoes on the bed.
"Yep, the rain has also slowed down too so we best get to the bus stop fast" she squealed excitedly. Wow you take this girl away from the shops for one week and she goes crazy.
"Shouldn't we use the back door?" I questioned confused at where she was going.
"Oh I've already told them they trust me because you're with me" she rolling her eyes as she swung open the door causing the icy cold air throw it's self against me.
"They do?" I asked surprised wrapped the sleeves of my shirt around my wrists as a small smile appeared on my lips.
"Yeah I went through a rough patch last year and now it's like I can't be trusted with money alone. Turns out it wasn't about the rain, mums were always too busy to take me and it's not like Jesus or Brandon would ever come with me." She answered truthfully as we walked further down the street.
"Damn it!" I muttered as the wind blew me forcefully.
"What?" she responded as she'd been hit in the stomach trying to steady herself too.
"I think I'm going to need a jacket the bus stop is further than I thought I guess" I admitted shivering as the wind grew stronger.
"Oh common on it's only a few streets away now! It's only a bit of wind at least it's not raining as much anymore, it's only drizzling" she pouted dragging me towards the bus stop even faster.
"Fine" I muttered as I let her drag me along and by the sound of it, I'm going to have to get use to it.
"Here it is" Mariana said happily as she walked over to the roadside.
"Finally" I muttered as I wrapped my arms around me for what felt like the 100th time in the past fifteen minutes.
"You look a little cold miss" the bus driver said politely as I dug through my purse to get money for the ticket.
"A little would be an understatement" I grumbled but smiling slightly as I took the ticket and waited for Mariana to pay for hers.
After glancing at Mariana the driver sent me a knowing look "I have a daughter about her age I know how you feel" he replied as he prepared Mariana's.
"You go sit down I'll get it for you" I smiled as Mariana pranced down the aisle.
"Sister?" he asked as he gave me the change and the ticket.
"... Friends" I smiled slightly not knowing what to think. If I did then that would technically mean I would see Brandon as a brother, which I don't; that would just be weird. "Thanks" I said gratefully as I walked down the aisle to join Mariana.
"You know... I know you didn't want to come with me" Mariana smiled sadly leaning her head against the window.
"That's not true" I breathed turning to face her completely.
"I also heard you call us friends rather than sisters" she mumbled fiddling with her thumbs.
"Look I didn't mean it in that way. If I admit we are sisters then that makes me Brandon's sister and you know that's probably not the best way to see us" I admitted still feeling confused even though me and Brandon have almost worked everything out.
"Oh I-"
"I know it's fine and I did want to come, I just haven't gone shopping in a while" I interrupted knowing she didn't mean anything serious by it.
"You should come with Stef, Lena and me sometime" Marianna squealed getting excited already.
"Let me get use to the first trip first" I laughed watching her body shake with excitement.
"Right" she laughed slumping back down her seat.
"You know... I always use to go the mall with my mum too. I was still the same as I am now; she had to drag me everywhere. I actually started to miss it after she was gone. Ever since then I've hated shopping even more, it just brings back more pain.
"Callie-"
"Oh look it's our stop" I interrupted quickly as I got up ready to get off. Reluctantly Mariana followed me; dropping the subject thank god! I guess she was just happy I opened up to her.
"Are we done yet?" I groaned as she pulled into yet another store.
"Nope" she giggled as she threw more clothes at me to try on. "Will you please try these on for me?" she asked giving me the puppy eyes.
"Ugh fine" I mumbled and slowly trudged towards the changing rooms. "I'm not sure about this" I whined as I played with the hem of the dress.
"Oh just quit whining and show me!" she demanded softly from outside.
"Ok..." I mumbled uncertain of what she would think.
"That dress looks amazing on you!" she squealed in delight as she took a picture on her phone.
"Are you sure?" I asked nervously as I fidgeted around a bit.
"Yes and I know someone else who would think you look amazing too!" she giggled moving her eyebrows up and down.
"I don't know" I sighed as I glanced at the mirror.
"You look good Callie, and you are going to get it!" she declared grabbing me by the shoulders.
"If you say so" I replied hoping she was right.
"Can we go now?" I questioned hopefully as we excited the store with many bags of Mariana's in toe and one of mine.
"I guess I've tortured you for long enough" she chuckled as we headed towards the bus stop.
"It was kind of fun" I admitted surprised at what I was even saying myself.
"Um... Callie you're going to hate me" Mariana said meekly as she laughed nervously.
"What?" I asked slowly not wanting to hear what she had to say.
"Umm hehe... the last bus left an hour ago" she mumbled meekly looking anywhere else but me.
"I don't believe this" I growled yanking my phone out of my back pocket.
"Sorry?" she squeaked scurrying behind me.
"Don't sweat it" I sighed knowing I was a being a bit too harsh.
"Who are you calling?" she whispered towering over me as I sat on the curb.
"Help" I mumbled as I typed the number I learnt of by heart smiling slightly; only slightly.
"I'm sorry" Mariana sighed as she dropped down next to me.
"It's fine, how were you to know that the last bus was cancelled" I replied wrapping my arms around my body to warm myself up a bit.
"Hey at least it's only raining a bit" Mariana replied bunching her scarf up over her face.
"A bit?" I questioned looking at her as if she had to heads when a huge gust of wind made my hair blow every direction possible.
"Okay a lot" she said helplessly looking down at our drenched clothes as we shivered uncontrollably.
"Are you guys ok!?" Brandon shrieked trying to overpower the volume of the rain as he ran around the side of the car towards us.
"Yeah, thanks for coming bro" Mariana smiled appreciatively as she ran and swung open the car door and rushed onto the backseat.
"Are you okay? This isn't good for you especially just after getting back from hospital. You're too weak, you could get hypothermia!" he ranted frantically as he rushed towards me.
"U huh" I mumbled as my body shivered like crazy. I was freezing, over the past fifteen minutes I could feel myself getting weaker, how could I have been so stupid to forget my jacket?
"You're freezing!" He gasped as his hands caressed my cheeks.
"Well done Sherlock" I grumbled against him throwing my arms around him feeling him chuckle against me.
"Here have my jacket" he insisted quickly shrugging it off.
"Thanks" I mumbled as the blush crept onto my pale cheeks. It's going to weird getting use to people actually caring about me.
"C'mon it's still chucking it down you know" he laughed kissing my forehead.
"I know" I sighed happily as my arms dropped back to my sides.
"Wait" He said suddenly pulling me into his chest.
"What?" I asked as I furrowed my eyebrows as the rain thrashed against us.
He said nothing, did nothing. He just stared into my eyes longingly.
"What is it?" I asked softly reaching up running my fingers back through his dripping wet hair keeping it off his forehead.
"Call me cliché, but I've always wanted to do this" he mumbled lovingly as if he was mesmerised by my eyes. Slowly he bent down to my lips until they were brushed against each other before they finally met in a slow synchronised harmony. Rain droplets danced along our face playing the role of faint tear tracks as my hands returned back to his hair, clenching lustfully as if I believed that if I let go; he would slip through my grasp.
Well I hope you enjoyed that lovely cliché ending of the chapter haha. I'm thinking of writing a one shot based on a song any suggestions? I have a few ideas but I'm not sure. Maybe I could write several, I don't know. In the comments tell me a song/songs that you think Brallie would be perfect for!
