"Why don't you have a jacket?" Brandon asked quickly taking his eyes off the road to glance at my shaky figure pressed up against the heater.
Playfully glaring I turned to Mariana "But Callie the bus stop is really close now and there's hardly any rain" I mocked rolling my eyes still slightly angry causing Brandon to chuckled.
"Hey it's not my fault; you should have had the brains to bring a jacket in the first place!" Mariana countered playfully as her face peered into the front of the car.
"Shut up" I mumbled playfully putting my palm over her face and shoving her back onto the back seat.
"I'm impressed" Mariana voiced absent-mindedly as she stared at the thunderous rain out the window.
"Huh?" Brandon asked as he indicated his next turn.
"You two haven't even stopped in a back alley yet for a scheduled make out session" she snickered not taking her eyes of the views passing by.
"We aren't that reckless Mariana. We do it in a deserted car park" he joked answering as if it was most obvious answer in the world.
"Wait! What do you mean by do it?" Mariana asked us seriously sending us into a fit of laughter.
"What do you think Mariana? I'm sure you know what that means by now" I said pretending to be serious as her eyes went wide.
"Callie this morning I was only joking I didn't really think you'd done it you're both too responsible and-"
"Don't let our acts fool you, we're really all over each other" Brandon smirked as I turned to him desperately trying to hold in my laughter.
"Ewe you guys are disgusting" she muttered horrified by what we had just told her.
"Babe look no one is really around why don't we go in that car park there? It looks pretty deserted and Marianas right it has been a while since y' know" I questioned sitting closer to Brandon trying to pretend to be seductive.
"Sure Mariana wouldn't mind" Brandon smirked resting his hand up on my thigh. Not that I minded maybe we could be like this for real one day and not just pretending. Obviously not in public; we are not that kind of couple. We can keep our hands of each other, well for now anyway.
"Um yes I would!" she piped up from the back thinking we were deadly serious. God we've not even been together that long and she thinks we do this all the time. I thought this girl was meant to be smart.
"Oh you can just take a walk or something can't you? Please? Take one for the team" I pleaded trying to keep a straight face.
"In this weather, you kidding me right?" she shrieked as her hands flew in many directions.
"Nope" we answered popping the p.
"Guys!" She pleaded as Brandon turned into the car park.
"She's right B, it might make her feel very awkward" I sighed grinning as I felt him start to run his hand up and down my leg soothingly; not reaching too high of course, this was only pretend.
"Callie" he groaned as he put the car in park.
"I know baby" I said disappointedly reaching over to smooth his hair out from the rain. "I know! How about we wait until we get home? All we would need to do is put the music on and she will be all the way down the hall!" I exclaimed as I saw Mariana gagging in the rear view mirror.
"It's a win win" he joked pretending to seem serious as he pulled out of the car park.
"Exactly" I sniggered holding my hand to my mouth.
"I am never going anywhere with those two in the car alone again!" Mariana screamed in disgust as she stormed through the front door hurriedly.
"What's wrong love?" Stef asked confused at why she was acting this way.
"Ewe just ewe!" she groaned in frustration shuddering as she ran off to her room.
"What did you do you two?" Lena asked surprised at Marianas sudden outburst.
"Nothing!" we exclaimed before falling back on the sofa laughing hysterically.
"Did you do anything?" Stef asked seriously as she looked as if she could strangle us if we did so soon and even more so that Mariana was under our, well under my supervision.
"We didn't!" we assured defensively raising our hands in surrender.
"You better not have!" Stef said sternly as she walked out into the garden with Lena in tow.
"I can't believe that just happened!" I cried with laughter as we doubled over struggling to breathe lying back on the sofa trying to contain our emotions.
"I can't believe she fell for it!" he chocked as his laughter started to die down.
"Thanks for coming for us" I sighed as my breathing started to go back to normal.
"Wherever you are Callie, I'll come for you" she said sincerely pulling me into his arms.
"And you know what? For the first time I actually believe you" I whispered lovingly as I lay my head on his shoulder cuddling into his side.
"Only for the first time? I am very believable thank you very much" He pouted playfully sitting a space further away from me.
"Oh yeah sure Mr we do it in a deserted car park" I smirked as I sat there waiting for him to come back to me knowing he wanted me to move to him.
"Well I am happy that you feel like you can trust me" he mumbled lustfully as he moved back towards me giving in.
"I know I can" I smiled happily resting my head back on his shoulder. "But promise me one thing?" I requested looking seriously into his eyes.
"Anything" he said seriously looking into my eyes deeply.
"Ok well this is going to sound so girly but-"
"I hate to break it to you, but you are a girl" he joked trying to add a bit of humour knowing how hard it was for me to say.
"Well done Sherlock I would check to see if you're right but I'm pretty sure you've looked enough times to be certain" I smirked pursing my lips together.
"You make me sound like a perv" he added not denying any of it. Not that I minded, if he didn't check me out I would kind of think he didn't like me. He is very respectable and I trust him fully when it comes to that area of our relationship.
"Anyway" I emphasised letting him know we were coming off track. "Just promise me you won't hurt me" I whispered seriously looking him dead in the eyes.
"I promise" he assured solemnly grasping my hands lightly.
"Then that's all I need" I mumbled against with lips with a small smile.
"Ugh I just wish we could lie here all day" I mumbled sighing in comfort.
"Why can't we?" He asked smiling down at me.
"Because we can't" I replied slowly standing up and making my way towards the kitchen.
"Wait" he said suddenly twirling me back around to face him.
"What?" I giggled as I face plated his chest.
"Come with me" he mumbled as he guided me upstairs.
"You're not taking up the offer from earlier are you?" I joked when he shut the door to his room.
"No" he chuckled as he escorted me to sit on his bed.
"What's this all about?" I asked as I watched his movements closely.
"Well this morning, when Jesus walking in, and with what you said I-"
"Brandon I-"
"I'm not mad. It just got me thinking that I never did ask you to be my girlfriend. So how about I do it the only way a foster would know how, I wrote this for you" he said lovingly looking straight into my eyes. I watched intently as his finger caressed the keys, watching them glide across. All his passion went into the piece. Slowly one small tear escaped my eyes as he let the last note ring, waiting for my reaction. Baffled I slowly stood up and took a few shaky steps towards him.
"I don't care what anyone else thinks about our relationship Callie. Everyone who we need and love approves so what's the bother. We are not related so it shouldn't matter in the eyes of others. All I know is that I'm in it for the long run and I hope you are too. I've said it a million times and I'll say it again, no matter what ghosts are in you past we'll get through them together. We'll get through it because we love each other. I won't ever leave you lonely even on your happiest and darkest days. I'll always be around to pester you and annoy you so you don't need to worry about that. I want you to know that you can come to me with anything. I also want you to know that I will happily knock down anyone who stands in our way. That night you went into hospital I almost lost a huge part of me that would have never been able to come back. I have always known I've loved you since we met; there was always a connection. And when I thought that I lost my chance with you; it killed me. So who cares if were outlaws? As long as were in love I don't mind running from the law with you" he gushed lovingly as more tears slowly started to escape. "Will you be my girlfriend Callie Jacob?" he asked lustfully wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Yes" I mumbled against his lips mesmerised by everything about him.
"You should be proud you know. You are the first person who has even managed to make me cry in happiness" I smiled still crying slightly as I got on my tip toes and kissed him tenderly as our tears mingled into one.
"You know what would make tonight perfect?" I said excitedly whilst giggling slightly.
"And what would that be?" he asked happily placing a piece of hair behind my ear.
"Let's turn some music on, I'm sure Mariana would love it" I laughed as he went over to the docking station.
"I don't see why messing with her a little would hurt" he chuckled before leaning down to kiss my lips lustfully pinning me to the bed carefully aware of my stitches.
