Terra Nova Lovestory- After the eleventh Pilgrimage

This story is about a boy called Jack Jenkins. He lived in the jungle since he came together with Taylor to Terra Nova. After the eleventh Pilgrimage he comes back to the colony where he has to teach some soldiers how to survive without guns and GPS. He becomes friends with Skye and later he fell for her. What does this bring?

4. Young Lady Shannon

Now, the course would start today, but in the evening. The soldiers were devided in several teams, and every evening I would get to know each team. I had some tasks to do first, so Josh Shannon guided me to the school. A young girl came to us as they seemed to have a break, and called him 'Daddy'. For how long did I not call anyone Daddy? I didn't know, but I didn't care either. The girl asked who I was, so I introduced myself to her: "Hey, young lady.", I smiled, "I think I am a new teacher, nice to meet you!" I gave her my hand to shake, and she shook it, but I recognized that I neither could get along with girls or other people nor with kids. Damnit, I was good for nothing but living in the forest. Oh, how beautiful my house was, on the top of one of the gigantic telephone trees in the forest: My view flew up to the sky and as it turned down again to look around, I thought about the happenings with Skye. Oh heck, there she went by. I thought she went to the hospital right away, but I turned so that she hopefully not even noticed me. I really was bad at smalltalk and such sociological things.

The kids were cheering, as they heard who I was. At first they could ask me questions, which I was to answer. Who else, hn? Young Shannon asked, if I ever had a friend outside the forest. She ment a dinosaur, like hers. I laughed a bit, answered with a nod. "I can show you my friend later.", I smiled. I liked my little friend, but I had left him in my hut because I was aware of his nervousness when it comes to some sorts of situations and strangers. All the little kids wanted to know everything about what life out there was. They asked what I ate, I answered nuts, fruits and raptors, and they asked me who trained me, I asked the Commander had done it and after many questions and many answers the lesson was over.

I deeply took a breath when I was outside the buildings. It nearly was like claustrophobia when I was inside a room or a house. My two huts were outstanding exceptions, clear as always. On the one hand because my hut in the colony was big and on the other hand because my hut in the woods was on the top of a tree.
