Meloetta was the first to wake up the next morning. She sat up and stretched, yawning, before noticing something on her bedside table. Turning her head, she saw that there were two objects on her bedside table: a strange instrument and a piece of paper. She read the writing on the the piece of paper. It read:

"Meloetta,

this trumpet is a gift from me to you. I want you to go outside your bedchamber with the trumpet, and play this instrument. I have created you with a special gift, so don't worry; you can play the trumpet! :)"

Meloetta looked at the so-called trumpet. Picking it up gingerly, she tiptoed out of her bedchamber and into the hallway. She could hear snores from some of the bedrooms as she inspected the trumpet thoughtfully. After a few seconds, her instincts kicked in and she instantly knew how the trumpet worked. It was a strange sensation for Meloetta, but she felt comfortable with it. Meloetta put the mouthpiece to her lips, and blew into the trumpet...

Rayquaza was awake, but feeling gloomy from the night before. His counterparts were too wrapped up in their rivalry that they didn't care about Rayquaza. They only ignored him, despite his attempts to befriend them. In fact, it seemed to only make the duo grumpier.

Suddenly, a beautiful sound interrupted his thoughts. He instantly sat up, curious about the melodious noise. Soon his counterparts also woke up, and the trio left their room into the hallway.

Meloetta played her morning tune, getting a buzz from it. As she played, she could see that all of the Legendaries were entering the hall. Once everyone was present, including Arceus, she stopped. Arceus stepped forward and congratulated her,

"Well done, Meloetta! You have succeeded in mastering the trumpet!" he praised, "I would like you to do that every day as our morning tradition." Meloetta, feeling bashful, blushed at his remark. It felt great to be appreciated!

Arceus cleared his throat, turning to the rest of his Legendaries, "Now, if we all make our way to the Grand Hall, than we shall start today's lesson..."

Okay, first things first, I'm sorry about not updating this story for a while. I thought no one really cared about it, but then I saw the reviews I had been receiving and I was encouraged to continue. Thank you for the reviews; they really are appreciated! ^^

I noticed a review inquiring about Zygarde not having any counterparts. The reason I did this is because Yveltal and Xerneas are the Mortality Duo, so that means they are paired counterparts. This means Zygarde has no counterpart. So I decided to give him a room with Heatran and Yurem.

Also, I started this story before Dianche was revealed to be a legit Pokémon, so that is why I have not included Dianche in this fanfic. I'm sorry to all Dianche fans out there, but depending on where this story goes Dianche might not appear in this tale.
