Chapter 14:

Normal Pov

"Your going to love Hogsmead Rhianna. Its filled with lovely shops and-! Oh my!" Lily said, rushing out of the way. Rhianna, whose face had been slumped into boredom, suddenly raised both of her eyes in shock. She bent over at the waist, and let out a very noisy wave of vomit.

"Ew. I told you not to eat broccoli and carrots last night!" Lily said, as Rhianna fell onto her hands and knees and vomited onto the snowy trail to Hogsmead.

"Shut up!" Rhianna snapped, her face ashen and pained as she resurfaced. "It wasn't the broccoli and carrots. Their good for you dumbo." Rhianna snapped, and waved a swing at Lily with her purse. Lily dodged it.

"Hey, at least no one was around to see you. And you got a pretty good aim. I think you need blush though, because you look really sick." Lily said, throwing a comforting arm around Rhianna's shoulders. "What do you think made you vomit-!"

"I don't know. Maybe I'm sick. Maybe I'm a sick, sick and unlucky girl, and the universe is catching up with me for changing the past." She said, growling. Lily smiled.

"I don't know what that means… But lets go with that." Lily said, and cast a worried look at Rhianna. "Are you sure you don't want to talk about it-!"

"Hey, how about we get to the stupid shop. Pick out a dress that I'm never going to wear, and then go to the book store?" Rhianna muttered angrily, and Lily smiled.

"That's the spirit!" She smiled, and then the two of them jogged down the remainder of the trail. When they reached the sign, Rhianna pointed down the trail.

"Come on, there's the dress store. Lets get a pair, and then leave." Rhianna said, and Lily bounded towards the shop.

"Well we also need a pair of shoes." She added, and Rhianna's eyes flashed angrily.

"Well let's hurry up! I don't want to be spotted in here." Rhianna added, her eyes darting side to side nervously.

"Oh don't be silly." Lily said, and the both of them rushed into the store. The store seemed about a mile along. There were two doors. One boy door, and one girl door. Rhianna sighed.

"Come on," She said, and the both of them were invited in with the scents of delicious, wafting perfume. Even Rhianna's eyes widened slightly, at the sight of the enormous fountain in the middle of the mile long room, spinning and swirling many types of flowery perfume. It smelled strongly of a love potion. Rhianna thought to herself, and set her eyes look along the many ball gown dresses on the wall.

"That one." Rhianna said instantly, and Lily looked in the direction Rhianna was pointing.

"Which one? The red one, or the green one-!"

"Which ever one is closest to the door. Now hurry up and pick a dress, so we can get out of here." Rhianna said, and Lily groaned.

"Please Rhianna, I'm begging you. Be serious about this. It's the New Years Ball. Pick something News Years Ballsy. Okay?" She asked, and Rhianna groaned.

"What do you have in mind?" Rhianna groaned, throwing her head down to the floor.

Lily squealed excitedly and pointed towards the wall. "Look. They have Hogwarts styled dresses. Lets peek at those."

"You do. I'm going over here. I don't want you seeing what I'm going to pick-! Don't you dare give me that look Lillian." Rhianna glared at her, and Lily gasped.

"I told you that nickname in confidence." She gasped fearfully, and glanced around. But for some reason, the store was practically empty, apart for a few spare girls.

"Oh get over it. Come on, split. I'm buying my cute dress, that will totally knock your socks off, now move." She barked, and Lily nodded. "Okay, but I'm trusting you. Actually try and pick a cute dress. Not just grab the first one off the wall. Okay?" Lily said, as she slowly backed off. Rhianna nodded.

"Yes. I promise. Now will you run?"

"Of course." Lily squealed, and then ran off for the Hogwarts isle. Rhianna rolled her eye at Lily's childhood antics, and instead strolled off towards the isle with a sign above it, 'Riches'. She understood when she saw the tag, of the first one. "Five hundred galleons." She murmured softly, and shrugged. "Huh, that's pocket change." She found herself saying, and looked around.

Ruby red dresses with real rubies attached to the straps. Diamond blue dresses with actually diamonds decorating the bodice. Fluffy dresses decorated with actual gold. "This stuff would make my mother go gaga." Rhianna chuckled, and spied a dress towards the back. It wasn't anything special. Just a soft black dress that you normally spot on celebs and stuff. It was long and had a collar at the back.

"Well, five hundred galleons for nothing, this is a major bummer-!"

"Oh no you don't. Get this one." Lily said, and grabbed a blue one. Large diamonds and different colored jewels decorated the silk bodice. It led to a long blue lacy and fluffy tutu. "Wait a minute, what type of dress is this?" Rhianna snapped, and Lily sighed dreamily at the dress.

"It's a princess styled dress. The tag says 'Cinderella'. Oh, I don't remember Cinderella having diamonds on the dress, but it's beautiful." Lily cooed.

"What's a Cinderella?" Rhianna asked, and Lily passed her the long dress. "Only one of my favorite muggle princesses of all time. She's my hero. I grew up reading the books, and when the movie came out, I saw the movie. It was amazing." Lily sighed dreamily.

"Really. So I guess she's a muggle princess eh?"

"Oh bah humbug." Lily snapped at her playfully, and then looked around.

"Quickly, you need to do me the biggest favor." Lily said, looking her seriously in the eyes. Rhianna sighed. "What is it Lily?"

"I need you to go to the sales lady, and ask for glass heels. There called glass slippers in the movie, but I prefer glass high heels." Lily explained, and Rhianna moaned.

"Glass slippers? But… They are really uncomfortable." She said, frowning. Lily smiled though.

"Your not getting out of this that easy. You have to wear the fool costume. I'll pick up your lingerie, you get the shoes."

"Wait a minute, what do I need lingerie for?"

"Well your going to be with Severus the night of the ball aren't you?"

"Yes,"

"Well aren't you both going to be alone, later on?"

"Lily, I know where your going with this, but I don't need lingerie to do that-!"

"Whatever." Lily snapped, and then took off down the hall.

Rhianna yawned roughly as she took off towards the clerks desk.

(Harry and Juliunna's Hogsmead visit- Sixth Year)

Harry peeked at Juliunna with a small smile, who didn't return it.

"Harry you are so amazed at the little things, aren't you?" She asked, and Harry nodded, a small blush on his face as she looked away.

"Well yeah. You got to enjoy the little things you know." Harry shrugged with a chuckle. They continued down the Hogsmead road, Juliunna looking glummer then before. Small snowflakes flurried around the path, with icicles coating the small waist height cobblestone bridge on either side of them, indicating a winter wonderland. It brought a smile to Harry's already gleeful face, but not to Jules.

"Juliunna, what's wrong? Its beautiful out here, and you make it look like I gave you no choice but to come with me." He said, and Juliunna sighed.

"To be honest Harry, I couldn't care less about Hogsmead. I wish you'd stop smiling. I would rather be back in my room sulking."

"But why?"

"It's too happy out here." She pouted. And then Harry let out a laugh.

"Its too happy out here. And all you want to do is get to your room and do… Whatever teenage girls do in their bedrooms. I suppose you and Pansy chat about various boys and teen boy bands-!"

"We do not! That is horrifying! You know I hate Parkinson with a passion-!"

"I was just kidding. Your adorable when your so offended." He said, chuckling. He smiled at her, but she stared at the floor.

"Harry, stop complimenting me. Your making me depressed." She laughed out loud this time, and they both stopped at the sign.

"Your so funny. But on a more serious note, where do you want to go?" He asked, and Juliunna shrugged.

"Well, according to status set by the girls in Slytherin house, the hottest spot to buy clothes is Madame XXXLaurant'sXXX. The hottest tea shop is Tina's. What do you want to do? Buy Quidditch Supplies? Because according to the boys, Quidditch R Us, is the hottest spot. I would like to hit the book store. There's a new book out, and the closet shop that has it is Miss Tanya's. So Harry, where would you like to go?" Juliunna asked, and Harry frowned in thought.

"Well… That is a lot of information." Harry voiced, patting his own head in thought.

"Okay then, I'll make it easy for you. Lets go to the book store." Juliunna said, raising a curious eyebrow at him, waiting for his approval. Harry nodded.

"Yes, the book store. I can use with some spell tips-!"

"You can use some new clothes." She said, frowning at him. He smirked.

"Oh Julie. Your just so ickly feisty-!"

"Ickly Feisty? What have you been doing raising caterpillars in your shirt. Look." Juliunna said, picking at the old shirt Harry was wearing. There were indeed a few wear and tear holes in there.

"Well, they were hand me downs. I didn't think you'd notice."

"Hand me downs? From your family water buffalo?"

"Close. My cousin Dudley."

"Wow." Juliunna said, smirking.

"Lets pick you up some new clothes." Juliunna said, steering him towards the large sign over a huge store labeled, XXXLaurant'sXXX.

"But I don't want new clothes." Harry whined, and Juliunna rolled her eyes.

"Do you think I'm going to let myself be seen with you when you look like the royal barn keeper-!"

"Heh. That's actually pretty funny."

"Really? Because I came up with it when I was looking at you." She smiled at him, and he snorted.

"Jules, I've got a question for you?" He asked, as she pushed him faster into the door. She rolled her eyes.

"What?"

"Do you have a boyfriend?" He asked curiously, and she froze. "What?!" She said after a second, appalled at his sentence. He shrugged.

"I mean, yeah, do you? Because you're always dressing up real nice sometimes, but you act like you don't really care and… Well do you?" He asked when she didn't say anything. She shrugged.

"Not really, no." She said, and the two of them started browsing the shirts.

"So what your saying is your single?"

"No, I'm not saying that Harry." She said, rolling her eyes annoyed. He frowned.

"Well which one is it? You say no, you don't have a boyfriend, but your not single."

"Well its complicated. Its more like a male partner, you get it?" She asked, and picked a shirt off the line. She held it up to his chest, and it fell loosely around his stomach.

"Need a smaller size." She shrugged, and Harry frowned.

"Are you talking like, what's the word? Friends with Benefits kind of thing?" He asked, and Juliunna smirked suddenly.

"Yeah. Except its more like… Forbidden Love." She said, and handed him another shirt.

"Well why's it forbidden?" He asked, and Juliunna shrugged, moving along the rows quicker, throwing him more and more shirts.

"Well, its so forbidden, I can't even tell you. How's that?" She asked, smirking. He frowned.

"That's not funny."

"I'm being serious." She smirked, and peeked out the window.

"Okay, lets pay for these, let you change, and then go to the book store." She said with a smile. Harry frowned when she turned around though.

"Oh, okay."

"Budge up though Harry, you look weird when you frown." She said, grinning.

And for that remark, he smiled.
