Avalon. An island that no one heard about for a while now. Drinking and partying like always. A lot of people would love to live their life there. Well, who wouldn't? Sometimes, even the streets were a place for entertainment. Little kids playing a funny play or a sad one, older people singing in the street, teenagers were dancing in the street, the list could be endless. Avalon was like a paradise. But for Haruta, paradise or hell, he didn't care now. As long as someone knew the whereabouts of Leah, he would be happy. The group was divided and scatters all around to find any clue. According to some people, two different pirate crew were in town. They didn't know who the first crew was, but they didn't cause any problems. Still, the second one, the Sinner's Dawn, created some mess. Haruta knew that Leah was investigating on the Sinner's Dawn crew, but what intrigued him the most was the other crew. Who were they ? Are they related to his best friend's disappearance?

For Marco, he didn't get the chance to find a clue on the spy sudden disappearance. But, he did find some interesting event. Almost ten days ago, some villagers found a dead body. They were on a pirate ship that seemed abandoned, according to some people. By the Jolly Roger, the Phoenix knew whose ship it was. Inside, everything seemed perfect. Clean and no trace of any fights. He went into what looked like the captain's room. A pretty simple room. To his left was a desk with some maps while to his right was the bed and a bookcase. He directly went to the desk and look for a log. He red since the arrival of Leah to where it ends. From what the captain had written, he didn't notice that Leah was a spy. But it also said that he was getting suspicious. Still, even if he was starting to suspect her, he was dead now. Thinking of that, Marco look the dead crew members. According to Leah's report, the crew had 25 people. He counted two times, but he ended up with the same result; 23 people. Who was missing ? While he looked for the two other bodies, the Whitebeard first mate came across a small transponder snail. Pink and red. No doubt about it, it was Leah's one. After he saw this, he started looking for her things. But it seems like only her snail stayed aboard the boat. Before leaving, Marco took the snail. He knew that his friend liked that den den mushi. Also, it could be eventually helpful if someone decided to call.

A barely noticeable sigh escaped the young girl's lips. Her eyes opened, welcomed by the sun ray pouring into the room. From the temperature, the female knew they had passed into one of the warmer climates. But where exactly was she ? She couldn't tell. Of course, she knew some island that wasn't too far from Avalon, but since she couldn't go outside, she didn't know where she was. No one was in the room right now. She was the only one there. The door that was once open was close. Lock. Well, it seems that even if Jack liked Leah, he wasn't about to let her free. Though, he had the kindness of loosening her handcuffs when she was sleeping. Too bad she couldn't escape. The black haired girl watched the sky through the small window. It was not the best view, but it was better than nothing.

The hours passed and she didn't have any news about Jack. The only thing she could do was sit and wait. Wait. And still waiting. One more time, Leah sighs. Another hour just passed right before her sparkling turquoise eyes. Time is cruel. Yeah, that's her conclusion. In happy moments, time goes fast. But when it's not a good time, just one second can be hell. Still, hell can be more bearable than alone in heaven. Where was she ? She didn't have an answer. Who could ever answer that question ? Is earth heaven or hell ? Who will ever know... Closed eyes, the 19 years old girl thought about the first time she met the Whitebeard crew. Who knew a simple meeting could turn the earth into a piece of heaven ?

So, to spend her time, the only thing she could do was think. She thought about what the first mate of the Killer crew. What was his relation with the captain ? What may seem an easy answer for one, was a harder for the other. Only then, when she started thinking, she realized something. Maybe the reason why Jack didn't say anything yet was because he didn't know what to say. He didn't know either what was their relation. At one point they like each other then right after, it's the complete opposite. To help her find the relation they had together, she started thinking about three years ago. When she first came in his crew. When she started working for him as a doctor. It was funny to see that he didn't have anyone to look after the crew members. So it wasn't that hard to be accepted. When she came, she was everything he needed. A doctor, a crew member, a friend and who knows, maybe his secret love. As for Leah, he was at first, a dangerous enemy that needed to be brought , it he was a friend, the one who could see through her. Oh how she wished that the rumor was wrong. But it wasn't. Her investigation was right. Jack was planning on destroying the Whitebeard pirates. Still today, her only regret is that she let the Red Eyed Demon break the walls she had set around her.

The familiar sound of the door was, once again heard. Her smile slightly grew when she saw the one she was thinking of. He made his usual way to the cage. He sat in front of her pulling the chair while staring at her turquoise eyes. How many days did he do that ? Going to the room to speak with her. Something, in her heart, told her that maybe, the way he thought about her, never changed. Maybe he still sees her as they stared. And stared. Finally, he decided to break the ice.

"Your crew is looking for you. What will you do ?"

That wasn't needed. He didn't need to tell her that. She already knew that a long time ago. She was sure he knew it too. He just wanted to start something. He just wanted to erase that , she was sure of it. But for the other thing he said, something in his voice told her that he was thinking about three years ago. When she will leave, will she destroy his crew ? She couldn't answer that. Because, if her comrade her found now, they would kill everyone.

"Jack, you are as intelligent as me. You know that messing with the Whitebeard pirates can only bring death. "

After what she said, Jack stood up and opened the cage. He stepped in and just like the first day, he pushed gently her black locks behind her ear.

"Oh dear, you know I don't fear death. Because if I did, then I wouldn't keep you here."

When Leah felt the man's hand, she almost winces. Not that he hurt her. She just didn't like the fact that he was touching her. Her eyes closed for a moment and she was surprised. She was surprised by her action. Why had she closed her eyes ? Was it because he was still able to break her wall ? Enough to make her go soft once again ? The Red Eyed Demon, Jack was a truly cruel man.
