I am so sorry! This is a month late! I've just had such bad writer's block and then I've had tests and stuff and loads going on. But anyway, I should be able to update more often from now on because we're in the last 8 weeks of school so homework is calming down, so I'm going to try, emphasis on the word 'try' there, to update once a week. I'm sorry if I can't but I really will try! :3

By the way guys, if you ever have anything you want to ask me, whether it's about Blue Moon or just Warriors in general (I don't know, if you were wondering what my opinion on a certain character was or something) you can go ask it on the Blue Moon official website (link on my profile) on the Q+A page. I love answering your questions! Plus I'm bored right now, so go ask some questions! ^^

I really want to get to know my lovely readers more, don't hesitate to drop me a PM and we can have a chat if you like! :3

Disclaimer - Leafsplash-Of-ThunderClan does not own Warriors.

~ .:Review Replies:. ~

Skystar of the Ancients ~ I've gotta agree on Snowfall, I love Snowfall. 3

Willowdream of ForestClan ~ ^^ I just thought that would be totally adorable so I kind of just threw it in.

Alwayssearching2012 ~ Suspicious yes, but don't worry, they're Bumblestripe's kits. I decided to make one of them a brown tabby because Dovewing's father, Birchfall, is a brown tabby, so yeah. ^^ She was a bit silly naming him that though. I know, I wish I could update more too. It makes me sad that I can't update four times a week, which I used to be able to when I was writing Untold Secrets. I'm going to honestly try and update once a week from now on!

Silkbreeze-Of-ThunderClan ~ Mind if I call you Silky? ^^ Snowfall and Seedflight are both adorable, I love those two to pieces. 3 Sorry for the lack of DewxRed! They're going to be a big part of the next chapter, I promise! Thank you for the sweet review! :3

Orangeflight of ShadowClan ~ Thank you! Yeah, Dewclaw's a bit of a mouse-brain sometimes. ^^ I love Seedflight too, she and Snowfall are definitely perfect for each other, they're both so similar and adorable. ^^

Frostblaze ~ Thanks for reviewing! I agree, Redflower's such a bright spirited cat. She's actually the character I consider most like myself. ^^

amberleaf4273 ~ Dewclaw and Crowfeather are really similar, I hadn't really realised that. I love Crow too, he's awesome! 3

Raven cries Nevermore ~ Thank you! Yeah, I try to keep a kind of balance between Dewclaw's grumpiness and some upbeat stuff from Ambersky. :3

KND Operative Numbuh 227 ~ :3 Dovewing is pretty awesome, I've gotta admit. She's definitely got the best power.

Cupcake/Goldentail of WindClan ~ I love cupcakes... Sorry, that was a bit random... Glad you managed to log into your account! Although I think your name should be Cupcaketail of WindClan. Best warrior name ever.

Guest ~ Aw, thank you so much! That was the sweetest review ever! 3 Of course it didn't annoy me, no need to apologise! Thank you so much for reviewing and I'm glad that you're enjoying Blue Moon! :3 And your story is amazing! You have to create an account and post it so I can read it (the end got cut off, I was just like 'Nu! I must find out what happens! What happens after she collapses in her new nest! I must know! D:'

Cherrysky ~ Ooh, I love your name, it's pretty. 3 Pretty much agree on everything you just said, I really should feature Cherryflower a lot more. :3

AngelEnderCat ~ Hi Angel! -waves- I love Seedflight too! Yup, Breezepelt and Nightcloud fled the clan after the events of the Last Hope. Coincidentally, Breezepelt actually will have a role later on, although he goes by the name of Breeze now. :3 Thank you so much!

arcticfoxlover ~ No worries, I actually prefer some people reviewing later because it means I get to read a few at a time rather than all at once! :3

Brackenflame ~ :3 I actually did the cliffhanger with you in mind. I knew you liked cliffhangers. ^^

Clearfeather ~ Thanks for all the lovely questions! It's called Eye of the Storm because nothing major happens (well, actually it does, but not as major as the next book), so it's sort of like the eye of the storm, the calm before the storm of events of the next book. :3

Well, thanks for over 100 reviews by the way! My lovely cat Poppy has just jumped on my lap, so without further ado, Chapter Six!

(why is no one's favourite character Molespots?! Am I the only one who is crazy attached to him?! He's like the sweetest little thing ever!)

Redflower

"Well, spit it out then!"
Redflower was out of breath and wide-eyed, flanks heaving and her pelt standing on end, "I found… I found…" she panted, unable to get the words out, this was simply too much to take in. The twolegplace cats are here. Great StarClan, for all we know, they could be attacking camp right now! They could be stealing our kits! We've got to stop them!

"Redflower, please, just tell us!" Brightwing snapped. Redflower blinked, the ginger-and-white she-cat had never gotten angry at her before. Swallowing, the young warrior took a deep breath before opening her jaws and at last speaking.

"I've found scents of those cats from the twolegplace."
There was silence for a moment; Redflower searched the faces of the rest of her patrol. They all seemed oddly… calm. Redflower frowned, what's wrong with them? Did they not hear me?

Cloudfoot eyed her warily, "Are you sure?" he challenged, studying the tortoiseshell-and-white warrior. It took a moment for Redflower to realise why they were meeting her news with such weird behaviour. They don't believe me!

The spotted warrior lashed her tail furiously, "Of course I'm sure!" she snapped, neck fur standing up on end, "Do you think I'd just go making this stuff up? I'm not an apprentice anymore, this is serious!"

The rest of the patrol responded in surprise to Redflower's sudden outburst, Brightwing blinking in confusion, Greywhisper muttering something to Mouseleap and Nettlesplash and Cloudfoot exchanging disbelieving glances. Brightwing cleared her throat before replying, "It's not that we don't believe you. It's just… you have a very vivid imagination, Redflower, are you sure you weren't just imagining it? And how do you know it was the cats from the twolegplace anyway?"

Redflower knew what her friend was getting at; when Redflower had been a tiny kit, she'd imagined she'd seen a badger in the gorge and sent the camp into a state of terror. Have they still not forgotten about that? I was only a little kit then! There are other kits who've caused just as much trouble.

Fuming, the dappled warrior sunk her claws into the earthy forest floor, "I'm not a little kit anymore! If you don't believe me, then come see for yourself!" she growled, turning upon her paws and racing back into the undergrowth, towards where'd she found the scent. She didn't bother checking whether the rest of the patrol were following, only stopping and turning when she reached the spot, just at the border. After a few moments, Nettlesplash and Cloudfoot burst through the undergrowth, followed shortly by Brightwing, then Greywhisper and Mouseleap. Without a word, she shrugged towards where she'd detected the scent.

Eyeing Redflower, Cloudfoot took a step forward took a deep breath. For a moment, he paused, analysing the many scents that came flooding through. Then he slowly turned to face the group, "I don't whether it's the cats from the twolegplace, but there's certainly scents of cats, smelling strongly of twolegs, kittypets perhaps?"

Brightwing glanced at Redflower briefly, but didn't quite meet her gaze. Tentatively she too inhaled deeply before, just as Cloudfoot, confirming, "Redflower was right. Definitely cats scent. And as much as it could be kittypets, carrying such a strong twoleg scent, I find it hard to believe that some stray kitties would wander this from their kittypet nests," she turned to the dappled tortoiseshell-and-white warrior, "It must be the cats from the twolegplace that Bramblestar and his clan warned us of."

"It can't be," Greywhisper wasn't convinced, "It just can't be. The twolegplace cats can't be here, we're not prepared, we're not ready, they'll massacre us!"

Cloudfoot hushed her with a flick of his tail, "Calm yourself, Greywhisper, we're more than prepared," his gaze briefly flickered up towards the canopy, "We need to be mature about this. If it is these twolegplace cats, even if it isn't, we need to get back to camp as quickly as possible and report to the clan."

The dark grey she-cat took a deep breath, then nodded. Cloudfoot smiled, "Right then, let's head back to camp, the sooner we get there, the better."

The patrol travelled quickly and silently, everyone eager to return to camp as soon as possible. There was a little tension amongst the group and Redflower was still a little angry at her clanmates' reluctance to believe her. There had only been small talk throughout the return journey and the spotted tortoiseshell-and-white warrior was relieved when they at last reached the redstone gorge.

Padding down the rock-path after the rest of the patrol, Redflower quickly spotted Leafstar, in discussion with Rabbitleap, who'd obviously just returned from leading a hunting patrol. Redflower assumed it had been successful; Harveymoon was just dropping a plump squirrel onto the already large fresh-kill pile. The young she-cat couldn't help but give a small smile.

Taking the lead of the patrol, Cloudfoot led the way across the hollow to the SkyClan leader and her deputy, choosing to wait nearby so he could give the report. Greywhisper and Mouseleap both acknowledged the patrol leader with a dip of the head before scattering, going off to their separate duties. Brightwing and Redflower decided to wait, to help deliver the report, whilst Nettlesplash dashed over to Honeysplash, who was basking in the sunlight, grooming her soft golden pelt.

Redflower's gaze followed the pale brown tom as he made his way over to his mate. When Honeysplash spotted him, the light golden she-cat lifted her head and greeted him with a warm purr. Redflower smiled, before letting her gaze drift back to Leafstar and Rabbitleap.

They had to wait a minute or so for Rabbitleap to finish, then the three warriors could at last speak with the brown-and-cream tabby she-cat. Leafstar welcomed them with a bow of the head and a warm purr, "Cloudfoot, Brightwing, Redflower," she acknowledged each warrior in turn, "Is everything in check on the valley border?"

Cloudfoot exchanged a brief glance with his two companions, "Everything was pretty much in order, until Redflower picked up strange cat scent on the border," his gaze flitted over the dappled tortoiseshell-and-white warrior briefly, "I checked it out as well and it definitely wasn't clan cats. It must've been a group of cats and they smelt rather like twolegplace," he inhaled a deep breath, boldly meeting his clan leader's gaze, "We think it may be the cats from the twolegplace."

Leafstar took a moment to respond, her amber eyes misting as she had to take a deep breath, "Cats from the twolegplace," she murmured thoughtfully, surprisingly calm, "It could quite possibly be. I don't want to take any risks though; I'll alert the clan shortly," her gaze rose to the sky, "It's the gathering in a few nights, we can warn the rest of the clans then as well."

"We can't do that!" Redflower suddenly burst out, unable to hold in the words floating around her head like a heavy fog. All eyes slowly turned to her and the dappled tortoiseshell-and-white warrior gave a sheepish smile, "I'm sorry, but surely we should send a message to the other clans now? For all we know, the twolegplace cats could've already reached the other clans and if they haven't, we've got to warn them before it's too late," she went to rise to her paws, but Leafstar stopped her.

"No," Leafstar meowed firmly, "The other clans are capable of defending and protecting their borders, if we warn them of it now, before the gathering, they might take it as us believing them not capable or strong enough, we don't want to give off the wrong message; we've not been besides the lake for very long, we can't afford to stir up trouble."

Redflower was about to open her jaws to protest, then she sighed, and clamped them shut. Leafstar was right and besides, she couldn't argue with her clan leader. But what about the other clans? What about ThunderClan? What about Dewclaw?

The dappled warrior swallowed nervously, her heart beating unsteadily, The twolegplace cats could be invading ThunderClan right now for all we know. StarClan, please let Dewclaw be okay.

The SkyClan leader let her amber gaze wash over Redflower for a moment, as if challenging her to object, but when the pretty dappled warrior stayed silent, she gave a satisfied nod, her gaze drifting back to Cloudfoot and Brightwing, "Thank you for reporting this to me. I'll make sure Rabbitleap increases patrols on the valley border," she dipped her head to all three warriors, "Unless there's anything else you have to report, I hope you'll excuse me."

The three warriors dipped their heads to their clan leader as the brown-and-cream tabby began to pad away towards where Billystorm was waiting for her, just below the Meeting Stone. Redflower's gaze didn't leave the SkyClan leader as she and her mate entwined tails, purring warmly, and began to make their way across the gorge. She couldn't help but give a little sigh, feel her heart flinch inside her chest. Why did things have to be so complicated? Why did Dewclaw have to be part of ThunderClan, why not SkyClan? Why couldn't she have what Leafstar and Billystorm had, it was just so hard.

The dappled warrior turned away, green gaze dull. There was always the option, of course, of joining ThunderClan, but… She swallowed, the thought settling like a stone inside her. She shook it away. No, I can't join ThunderClan. Although the two clans were very much alike in their ways, Redflower just couldn't bring herself even to think about living apart from her family. Now that her father was gone, Cherrytail needed her more than ever, and she loved her siblings, Whitefern and of course her older brother and sister, Robinsong and Flintclaw. She needed to be around her family, especially right now. And then there were also her friends, Brightwing and Mouseleap, they needed her too. No, I can't join ThunderClan. I just can't.

She sat still for a moment, the thoughts swimming around her head. It took a few moments for the idea to come to her and, though it was more of a hope than a solid idea, she couldn't help but give a slight smile, I can't join ThunderClan, but perhaps Dewclaw could join SkyClan.

Ambersky

Pale light streamed in through the canopy, casting the forest in a soft, golden hue. The pale grey-and-white she-cat's paws thrummed lightly against the grassy forest floor, her amber gaze bright and glowing in the warm light, her movements enthusiastic and energetic. The spotted brown-and-cream tom that padded beside her didn't express his energy in such a noticable way, but rather more discreetly, in the glimmer in his amber eyes and the thoughtful tip of the head towards the she-cat, every now and then, to ensure she was alright.

The forest was alive with birdsong, rich and harmonious, floating on the breeze. Ambersky grinned brightly, her amber gaze drifting to the tom beside her, "It's such a beautiful day, I'm so glad it's New-Leaf," she purred.

Molespots smiled, touching his tail-tip to her shoulder, "I know," his eyes rose to the sky, a stunning faded dark blue that melted to a distant yellow on the horizon, "Not long until Green-leaf now, huh?"

The pale grey-and-white she-cat grinned, her heart giving a quiver of excitement at his touch, "I can't wait," she exclaimed, eyes bright, "It feels like leaf-bare lasted forever!"

Molespots nodded, "I know."

For a moment, no words were exchanged between the two cats. Beneath her pawsteps, the lush grass rippled in the breeze, a constant motion, like the surface of water. They'd told the clan they were going hunting, but the fresh-kill pile was plentiful and Ambersky knew it was more likely just going to be a casual walk. A casual walk. She scoffed inwardly, as if. Whenever she was around Molespots, she could never dream of being casual, she was always so excited and light, almost dizzy with happiness. As if she could be casual around him.

After a few heartbeats, Molespots stopped her, touching his muzzle to her ear lightly and motioning gently towards a low-branched beech tree, "C'mon, if we climb that tree we might be able to just catch the sunrise," he murmured softly, his words tickling lightly at her ears.

Ambersky smiled warmly, headbutting the spotted brown-and-cream tom affectionately, before nodding and bounding forwards, leaping up onto the lowest branch easily with admirable grace. She'd always taken pride in her climbing and leaping ability, almost like a SkyClan cat, she thought quietly with a fond smile.

Molespots joined her a heartbeat later, his leap not quite as easy and scopey as Ambersky's, but he landed lightly, the branch only ever so slightly swaying between the weight of the two of them. The pair sat there breathing for a heartbeat or so, as if still taking in the moment.

The pale grey-and-white she-cat turned to Molespots, smiling brightly, "Do you think we could climb to the top?" she tipped her head towards the highest branches of the beech tree that reached high towards the pre-dawn sky.

The young warrior followed her gaze, but uncertainty was hinted in his amber eyes, "I think we could, but I don't think we should," he mewed honestly, not quite meeting her gaze and shuffling uncomfortably.

Ambersky purred, prodding him lightly, "Oh come on, are you scared?" she teased him lightly, amusement glinting in her amber eyes, "Don't tell me you have a fear of heights?"

"Of course I'm not scared of heights, I'm not Dewclaw," Molespots began, rolling his eyes ever so slightly, "I"-

Ambersky interrupted him, "Oh really? How come you don't want to climb to the top then?" she challenged, her gaze humouring him. Is he scared? I always thought he was scared of nothing, he always acted so brave.

The brown-and-cream warrior stared down at his paws, shifting awkwardly, "Look, I'm not scared, I just…" he broke off, "I'm not scared, I'm just worried the branches at the top won't be strong enough. What if they snapped? What if you fell? I… I can't let you get hurt. What if you broke your leg or what if you broke your spine, like Briarlight?" their eyes met for a moment before the spotted brown-and-cream tom broke the contact, glancing away.

The pretty young warrior felt a shudder of guilt stretching through her. He isn't scared, he just doesn't want me to get hurt. The thought melted through her and she gave a little smile, He just cares about me.

She nuzzled the brown-and-cream tom gently, "You don't need to worry about me, I'll be fine," she purred softly, "But if you really are that worried, we don't have to climb to the top," she tipped her head towards a slightly higher branch, "We can always sit on that branch instead, we could probably get a good view of the sunrise from there?"

Molespots slowly relaxed, his shoulders lowering and a smile creeping onto his face. He nodded before bunching his muscles and leaping onto the branch, landing nimbly and settling himself quickly, sitting quietly, his tail curled around his white spotted paws. He glanced over his shoulder and motioned for Ambersky to come sit beside him.

The pale grey-and-white she-cat smiled, springing over to join him. For a moment they sat in silence together, their sights firmly set on the glowing horizon. Then the spotted brown-and-cream warrior turned to her, his mew soft, with a rather cute awkwardness (or so Ambersky found it), "I'm… I'm sorry about that. I just, I just…" his gaze lifted to the sky, clouding ever so slightly, "If you got hurt, I'd never be able to forgive myself."

"You don't need to apologise," the patched grey-and-white she-cat whispered, pressing herself against the handsome young warrior. Although she didn't let on, the spotted warrior's concern for her safety had sent her heart fluttering. It was almost unbelieveable how close her and Molespots had grown since Ambersky had returned from her journey. Ambersky still couldn't quite believe it herself. Why would Molespots, of all the cats in ThunderClan, be at all interested in her? He just made her feel so light and free, like a bird, she just hoped that whatever it was they had, whatever they could call this relationship, would last. After longing for this for so long, the thought of losing it with Molespots was overwhelming.

"Hey, Amber?" Molespots playful mew tugged her gently from her thoughts. She turned to the handsome tom, her eyes instantly finding his and locking.

"Yeah?"

He smiled, his gaze rising to the sky above, "Have you ever wondered what's beyond the stars?"

His question caught Ambersky completely off guard. Beyond the stars? Her gaze slowly drifted from the stars, fading with the growing morning light, to Molespots once more, "StarClan of course," she answered simply.

Molespots shook his head, "No, beyond StarClan? StarClan can't last forever right?" his gaze lingered on her, before returning to the sky, "It's got to have an end. Everything has an end. So what's beyond StarClan?"

Ambersky was totally unsure of how to respond, "I-I don't know," she admitted, her amber eyes clouding as the question sunk in, "I always thought StarClan lasted forever, I never thought there'd be anything beyond that."

There was a small part that was rather intrigued, however. What if Molespots was right? What if there was something beyond StarClan?

The dappled brown-and-cream tom grinned, "I've always liked to think there's a special place beyond StarClan, a place even better than StarClan. It would be endless, with great forests, lakes, rivers and mountains, big blue skies, beautiful sunrises, a place where there's always something new to discover," his eyes met with Ambersky's and he smiled softly.

A rumbling purr resounded from Ambersky's chest, "That sounds like a beautiful place."

Molespots looked as if he was about to respond, when his gaze suddenly drifted back to the horizon and his eyes widened, "Look," he murmured softly, flicking his tail towards the sun, which had begun to slowly ascend from the darkness and rise above the horizon, "The sun."

He didn't need to tell her twice. Ambersky's gaze was immediately fixed on the glowing ball of light in the distance. With it, the sky had suddenly flooded with light and the forest was bathed in a bright glow, giving it an enchanted look. The dew that clung to the grass and the leaves captured the light of the morning perfectly, sparkling and glimmering like an array of lights. It was absolutely beautiful and it took her breath away.

No words needed to be exchanged in that heartbeat, the two cats simply lived the moment. Ambersky leant her head on Molespots' shoulder, welcoming the gentle warmth of his touch that sent shivers rushing through her. In moments like this, it was so easy to forget everything that was going on amongst the clan, with the threat of the twolegplace cats. That didn't matter right now, all that mattered now was this moment.

For a further heartbeat, they were both quite still. Ambersky simply listened to Molespots' quiet breathing, how he inhaled and exhaled, trying to absorb every little detail.

Molespots touched his muzzle to her ear, "I wish I could live in this moment forever," he breathed softly, his gaze transfixed on the rising sun, "This moment; right here, right now, with you. Away from all the troubles of camp, the worries about those twolegplace cats."

The pale grey-and-white she-cat glanced up at her clanmate, "Me too," she sighed, her gaze returning to the sun which had just parted with the horizon and hovered above it, a glowing ball of light against the pale blue sky, "Maybe those twolegplace cats won't come though? Maybe they'll get lost?" she mewed optimistically, hope lighting her amber eyes.

Molespots didn't look convinced, "Perhaps," his mew was uncertain. His gaze travelled back to Ambersky and he gave a small smile, pressing against her side, "But if they do get here, you don't have to be afraid; ThunderClan against a bunch of cats from the twolegplace? I hardly think it's much of a contest," his mew was light with amusement and Ambersky grinned, "Besides," the humour in is voice had gone, to be replaced by sincerity, "I'll be here to protect you," he touched his nose to her cheek, "Always."

Seedflight

The Warriors Den seemed a lot colder without Snowfall. The snowy-pelted tom had just left for a midnight hunt, or so he'd told her. The white warrior seemed to be leaving their nest quite frequently in the night, the pale ginger she-cat, although she didn't like to think it, was starting to get the suspicion he might be up to something. He couldn't be meeting someone, could he? A cat from another clan? A she-cat? She shook her head, as if trying to rid her mind of the thoughts. No, he couldn't be. Snowfall isn't like that.

She hated that she was having these doubts, but she just couldn't help it. Perhaps he's just having trouble with sleeping? He's never been that good at getting to sleep. She hoped it was that, it must be that, Snowfall wouldn't meet with a cat of another clan, Seedflight knew he wouldn't, He'd never do that, never, that's just not Snowfall. He always sticks to the Warrior Code.

Snowfall wasn't the only one she'd noticed kept leaving his nest in the night. His brother regularly left his nest, often mumbling something about making dirt, then not returning until just before dawn. For once, however, the dark grey tom was actually in his nest tonight, and sound asleep by the looks of it.

The pale ginger she-cat's jaws parted wide in a yawn and for a moment she sat quite still, blinking wearily. After waking up early for the Dawn Patrol and a full on day of hunting patrols and training Honeypaw, she was exhausted.

A small part of her was insistant on waiting for Snowfall's return, but her limbs and muscles all moaned at her, begging her to sleep away her weariness. Her gaze drifted to the Warriors Den entrance, to the inky, black sky. It was just past moon-high. I should get some sleep, she realised reluctantly.

The young warrior sunk deeper into her mossy nest, resting her head on her paws and settling herself so she was quite comfortable. She couldn't help shooting another glance over at the den entrance. Still no sign of Snowfall. All was silent in the den, apart from the occasional sleepy mumble or drowsy snore. Seedflight was the only one awake. She sighed, I really should be sleeping.

Finally succumbing to the magnetic pull of weariness, the light ginger she-cat's eyelids fluttered shut. It took mere moments for sleep to wash over her, like a great wave. For a while, all was dark and still, then the sensation of hitting the ground slapped into her. She forced her eyes open, only to find herself no longer in the warmth of her nest, but sprawled out beneath a towering sycamore tree.

An endless forest stretched out ahead of her, green and vibrant with life, whilst a clumping of foothills, pathing the way to steep grey mountains, grew up behind her. To the left of her was a great lake, reflecting the star-flecked sky above, glittering in the moonlight. Seedflight heaved herself to her paws, taking a moment to blink and reflect upon her surroundings.

It only took a moment for her to realise where she was. Oh mouse-dung! Not another one of these dreams. Scowling, the pale ginger she-cat began to pad forwards, I need to get out of here.

"Leaving already?" a raspy mew sounded behind her and her heart sank. Great, just great. Relucantly, she turned to face the cat behind her, sighing.

Firestar was gazing down at her, amusement lighting his green gaze, "I expected better of you, Seedflight. I thought you'd at least say hello before returning to the clans," he purred.

The young warrior sighed again, "I'm sorry, Firestar, I just..." she broke off, unsure of what to say. I can't tell him I'm sick of these stupid dreams, he used to be ThunderClan's clan leader, he's a StarClan warrior!

Thankfully, Firestar seemed to have understood what she was getting at, "Seedflight," the humour had left his tone, he now spoke much more seriously, no longer smiling, "You wouldn't keep getting these dreams if you actually listened to my words. But instead you chose to be stubborn. You're just making it harder for yourself when the time comes."

Seedflight snorted, "When the time comes? What if the time never comes? I can make my own choices you know."

The starry-pelted tom sighed, shaking his head in dismay, "Seedflight, Seedflight," disappointment flickered behind his gaze, "When will you come to understand this? This is your destiny we're talking about, whichever path you take, it's going to lead to it anyway," he held her gaze for a moment, "By putting it off, you're only making it harder for yourself for when the time comes, and it will come."

"You can't make me chose this you know," she retorted, turning up her nose, "This isn't what I want. I don't want to be a medicine cat. I want a life as a warrior, I want a life with Snowfall," yet even as she the words left her jaws, she knew they didn't quite ring true. Of course she wanted a life with Snowfall, to become mates, to start a family, but, ever since she was a small kit, she'd always found herself drawn to the medicine cat's den, to the sweet scent of herbs, to StarClan and the special connection that a medicine cat had with their warrior ancestors. She wasn't sure why, it was just instinctive, something deep within her that drew her towards that path. Although she enjoyed life as a warrior and enjoyed hunting, she hated that if there was a battle, she would be expected to fight, she would be expected to implict pain on other cats. It simply wasn't right. She took a shuddery breath, no, stop thinking like that Seedflight. You're a warrior, start acting like one.

Sympathy glowed in Firestar's bright green gaze, "You can't hide it from me, you know," he mewed gently, "Look, I know it's hard. No one ever said it was going to be easy, you've got to be strong."

Seedflight refused to meet the StarClan warrior's gaze, "Why? Why is it so important that I become a medicine cat? I'm happy as a warrior, I don't want that to change."

The bright ginger tom opened his jaws as if about to speak, then clamped his jaws shut again. Hesitance flickered behind his green gaze, "I'm not allowed to tell you why. That's for you to discover, Seedflight. You could be a great medicine cat, you could have a great destiny ahead of you."

"What if that's not what I want?" she challenged, "Besides, Leafpool already has Jayfeather as a medicine cat apprentice. You can't have three medicine cats."

The fire-pelted tom sat quite still, staring at her, his expression emotionless, "No one lives forever," he meowed simply. Before the pale ginger she-cat could question his words, Firestar had disappeared. The forest began to melt to an endless black, shadows stretching farther than the eye could see. She got the sensation of falling, falling.

And then, suddenly, as if she'd hit the ground, her whole body suddenly spasmed and her eyelids jerked open. She was in her nest once more and, curled up beside her, eyes pooling with concern, was Snowfall, "Did you have a bad dream? Are you okay?"
The pale ginger she-cat forced a smile, relaxing a little, it's all okay, it was just a dream. Just another mouse-brained

dream, "I'm fine."

-gasp- Well, that was unexpected wasn't it! Seedflight, is destined to become a medicine cat?! I've been waiting to reveal this for ages... Loads of you are probably going to hate me now. And we saw a bit of a different side of her as well. :3 But will she choose the path of a medicine cat or will she ignore Firestar's words?! We'll have to wait and see. ^^

Didn't you just love that cute AmberxMole fluff? They're too adorable. 3
