Chapter-The Call

Legolas looked over the ocean from the room in Aragorn's castle. Gimli and Aragorn silently walked towards him,"Legolas," Aragorn smiled,"How do you fair?"

Legolas turned his gaze to them,"I have learned many things with my travels with Gimli. One of these things is that I shall never find another Love. Dusky was my soulmate. But now she is gone. I will never have a wife."

Aragorn sighed and gave his friend's shoulder a squeeze,"I thank you for coming to the Ancient One's new Queen's coronation then. They would be very displeased if you were not there," Aragorn eyed the sword at Legolas's hip,"They may have kept her bow, quiver and shield. But they knew they could never part her sword from you."

Gimli smiled sadly,"They bring her bow and shield with them. Perhaps you could persuade them to give them to you."

There was a hint of mischief on Gimli's voice and a glint of it in his eyes. Aragorn smiled- for Legolas had asked not to know of the Ancient One's new Queen until she had been crowned- and went along with Gimli,"Their queen would have to approve of it first."

Awren knocked on the door before she opened it,"Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, the Ancient ones draw near. They are so joyous, you can hear their songs a half mile away. Also our Hobbit friends are asking for you all."

The Ancient ones walked through the streets. Those in Wolf form barked, bayed and howled in happiness. Those on horse back waved to the watching humans, hobbits an elves (for not all of them had gone just quite yet). The men that held drums started to pound out a beat, and sang in a low bass.

Luna- now older and atop a silver horse. Started a knew song for her people as they walked through the streets,"/Sometimes in this life we hear/Calling from somewhere/Sometimes it is loud and clear/Sometimes it's so softly there-"

"/Sometimes it is in the sea/" Shadow sang in wolf form,"Sometimes in the sky/Sometimes it's in you and me/Sometimes it's a cry."

"/Open your heart/I am calling you/," those Ancient ones that had escorted their queen all sang together,"Right from the very start/Your wounded heart was calling, too./Open your arms/You will find the answer/When you answer to the Call/."

The soon-be Queen. Riding a black stallion and had a habit that hid her face sang out,"/Sometimes it is in desire/Or in the love we fear/When the call is calling us/'Till the fear will disappear," Luna sang with her.

Legolas was walking in the hall when he heard her. His heart skipped a beat and he started running.

"/When we have no dance to dance/" Luna and Shadow sang,"/The call is in the song/."

The three singers joined voices,"When we have no voice to sing/Then the call is calling strong-/"

"/Open your heart/I am calling you/Right from the very start/Your wounded heart was calling, too-"

"/Open your arms/" Legolas, Aragorn and Gimili stood at the top of the castle's stairs. Watching at the Ancient One's filled the square. The queen was helped off her horse and she leapt up onto the fountain's edge,"You will find the answer/When you answer to the Call."

Legolas gapped as her voice floated above the rest durning the last part of the chorus. The queen started to dance, She was spinning widely. Her cloak picking up from her ankles revealing cornflower blue armor when it showed her waist. As she stopped her spinning to face them. The hood fell.

Legolas' face broke out into giddy tones. He started down the steps at a fast place,"Legolas," Aragorn called to him as he tossed a shield down the stairs. Legolas jumped onto it and skated the rest of the way.

Dusky leapt down and ran to him as well. When he reached to bottom, he rushed towards her. And a cliche as it was the two met just as the music/ chorus came to a climax.

"/Open your arms/You will find the answer/When you answer to the Call/" The ancient ones sang as the two kissed.

"/Open your heart/" Dusky sang with them,"/I am calling you/Right from the very start/Your wounded heart was calling, too/Open your arms/You will find the answer/When you answer to the Call/Open your heart, your heart
And you will find the answer/To the Call!"

Legolas held Dusky tight,"My love," he murmured into her hair,"Where have you been?"

Jura had landed right as the song began and had watched the entire thing with Ryan. Who currently was reuniting with Aragorn, Gimli, Pippin and Merry. Then being introduced to Frodo and Sam.

Dusky smiled up at him,"That doesn't matter anymore. What matters is I am here. That this is the moment where we have found each other again."
