I gripped my legs so hard they would be bleeding if I wasn't dead. I cringed and shuddered again as this torture continued. Out of all that I've been through this has got to be one of the worst things I have ever encountered in my afterlife.

"And that is how ghost babies are formed" I would've puked if I wasn't about to faint. If listening to how human babies were born in science class (and sex education) was bad this was worse. I mean they were formed in the same way but ghost anatomy was more complex and Frostbite described every single detail of it.

And I thought hearing about how my old science teacher's wife gave birth was terrifying. "Lesson is over" I jumped out of my seat and ran to my room at Frostbite's. When he said that he was going to teach me about ghost birth I expected something less gross so he probably could understand why I ran out from the science labs.

"Hey Spirit I was going to see if you… wanted… to…" she stopped at my door and stared at my grossed out expression. "So… Ghost birth lesson?" I shivered and she took that as a yes. "Why are you here anyway? I still have training later" she shrugged and sat next to me on my bed.

"Was wondering how you were after last week" last week… the Spectra incident. The day after I got rescued I was paranoid for the whole day, even while hanging out with Ember. I couldn't help it; even now I was still slightly paranoid. Apparently in my sleep, my nightmares could manifest because of my shadow manipulation which caused a lot of chaos lately but in the past three days it didn't happen, luckily.

I just shrugged and got up. "I really should go to training…" Ember stopped me, "don't bother, I asked Frostbite to let you off today." I stared at her shocked and she just sighed. "Look, you've been training non-stop after what happened and Frosty said that you didn't even go to the human world once! All you did was train and study. Just relax for today ok? Kitty and I were going out to the café, you should come with" I sighed in exasperation and nodded my head. Ember patted my shoulder and I followed her to the café.

She was right though, I was training non-stop mostly because of my paranoia, and I didn't do anything but train and study. I think I better start relaxing again before I fade from exhaustion.

I leaned against my arm in boredom. Kitty and Ember were gossiping about boys and I was soooo bored! I mean what was there to talk about? I'll never understand. Oh wait their talking to me now. "Spirit you're zoning out again" I groaned. "Not my fault. I'm bored. Talking about boys isn't interesting to me" they looked at each other than looked back at me.

"Well I'm not letting you go back to training. Take a break dork weed even if you're getting bored" I paid little attention to her use of my weird nickname and just groaned again. "C'mon Ember's right. I mean after what happened with Spectra. You have to take a break before you fade" I officially hate this conversation now. "I mean she was feeding off so much off your misery Danny almost couldn't beat her. Although I think they were having a harder time trying to calm you down" hating it even more now.

Ember signaled to Kitty to stop talking but I don't think she saw her. Kitty had this habit of talking a lot so no stopping her once she starts. "I mean you were taking apart the whole warehouse. Frostbite even said that if they hadn't stopped you then you would have destroyed the whole city" bad thoughts, get rid of the bad thoughts Spirit.

"Like seriously what did she say that made you freak out that way?" alone… unwanted… hated… no, no, no, no not again… I winced. My body became surrounded by a black aura and I'm pretty sure I heard Ember and Kitty gasp. "She didn't mean that! Calm down!" the black aura grew bigger and the voices became louder.

"Yeah you know how I am. Can't stop talking" she laughed nervously. The voices became louder, "make them stop!" I covered my ears trying to block them out. Ember did the last resort I always told her to do when I freaked out like this and I couldn't calm down. She slapped me in the face.

I shook my head. "Thanks Em" I held my head for a second. "Any time" there was an awkward silence and the other ghosts in the café stared at us weirdly.

"So… wanna bug the boys?"
