I walked next to my god father along the tribe. I spotted Vlad, in human form, wearing one of the Far Frozen tribal outfits. Luckily it covered his whole body and was warm or he may have frozen, again. Frostbite slowed down slightly when we passed him but I pulled his paw and dragged him to go faster. "C'mon dad! You said that we would do god father-god daughter stuff before my death day!" I whined and he laughed.
It was weird how only after nearly a year did my mentor become my god father. Although it did seem rushed, since a year wasn't really that long in ghost standards, but it felt right to have him as my god dad. He helped me a lot in the past year, especially when I was sick.
So I guess that's why I was so close to him but there was also the fact that he was the first one I saw when I died. I mentally shrugged, I didn't really care. "You know you still haven't told me where were going yet" I looked at my god father. "We're almost there" he laughed and I laughed with him. We arrived at a cave entrance and there were ice vines hanging from it.
Frostbite moved them aside with his ice arm and let me in first. "Shouldn't those vines be broken?" I asked him while we walking along the cave. "Those were not vines, they're strings with frozen water droplets on them" my eyes widened and I gave him a look that said 'are you serious?' and he laughed again. "Here we are" I walked ahead of Frostbite and marveled at where we were at.
It was a frozen lake but it wasn't even frozen all the way through and you could see ghost fish in there. There were trees hanging above the frozen lake and around the area and hanging from the trees where strings with frozen water droplets on them. Most amazing thing was that this reminded me of a movie I watched once.
Frozen, if I remembered correctly, it was an amazing movie and this looked just as spectacular if not maybe more! I looked at my god father in excitement and he held up ice skates. I tied the lace on the black ice skates and slowly started trying them out. It was like rollerblading but on ice. Frostbite skated towards me and we spent the rest of the day just skating around with each other and messing around in the snow.
I yawned as we walked back to the tribe. "I had fun dad" I smiled at him tiredly. He grinned and ruffled my hair and I was too tired to do anything. Frostbite wasn't tired because he didn't really need to sleep, other than for leisure or if a lot of energy was used, but I still needed sleep until my death day. I slung the ice skates that Frostbite gave me over my shoulder and headed back home while Frostbite did a check on the tribe.
I collapsed on the bed and fell asleep with my skates next to my bed. I'm sure I heard Frostbite come in and pull my blanket over me and I smiled in my sleep.
