"Achoo!" I sniffed as Vlad handed me a tissue and I muttered a quick thanks. This ghost flu couldn't have come at a worse timing. My dad was at Pandora's realm for two days! And I don't even know what he's doing there, something about needing some herbs from her garden. And he still needed to go to Dora's kingdom to get fabrics because the tribe completely ran out of it!

Even worse, since he has no children and I was his god daughter I was supposed to be in charge of the Far Frozen until he returned. "Achoo!" and this cold wasn't making things any easier… I was lucky that Vlad volunteered to help me by being my messenger. So far nothing major happened today yet.

"Spirit, the Far Frozen is under attack!" Avalanche barged into the room announcing to me. Avalanche was sort of like a general. If the place was under attack he reports it straight to my god father, plus he was one of the top warriors we had.

"Who are our attackers?" my voice was nasally and I sat up with Vlad supporting me. "It is the Freezer fighters. They used to be a part of our tribe but were against our peaceful ways. They only wanted power and to see the death of others. They are trying to destroy and take over the village" I nodded and thought of a plan. Problem was I didn't know what to do. Like Avalanche said, the Far Frozen, although very skilled in the art of fighting, were a peaceful people.

There was never any strategy made, no plans no nothing for this kind of thing! "Prepare the weapons, try to tire them out, stall them for as long as you can. Get Icicle to gather the children and women bring them somewhere safe. You will go with them and protect them, make sure they are safe. Vlad help the warriors, make multiple clones and have them shield the village. While you are distracting the Freezer fighters, I will get close and weaken their force by taking them out" Avalanche nodded and left to give the instructions.

Vlad looked at me in shock, "you are in no condition to fight, how do you plan on weakening their forces when your powers aren't even controllable?" He had a point because of my illness, my powers were uncontrollable, I couldn't focus well enough to concentrate my powers but I have to put the safety of the tribe first.

"I'll manage and besides I still have this" I turned my weapon into its bo-staff form. The scythe form would be more effective but I couldn't concentrate enough to do it. "Now excuse me while I protect my home" I pushed past him as I flew out quickly with my weapon by my side. When I arrived at the battle, I was shocked by what I saw. I had expected there to be only five or ten people, since it was hard to believe someone from the Far Frozen would only want violence, but there were actually at least 20 maybe more warriors.

I flew higher and surveyed the area. Avalanche was already helping Icicle gather the children and women while Vlad had begun making duplicates and shielding the tribe. I made a small sneeze and flew into battle. I landed in the middle of the attackers and swung my staff, knocking their weapons off their hands. I knocked out a few fighters but they were quite strong. I sniffed a little as I swung my weapon once more only for it to be blocked and for me to get punched in the gut.

I doubled over for a minute but had to return to battle. I retaliated with a kick and a blow from my staff. I tried my luck using my powers and tried forming a shadow beam. It ended up exploding in my face although successfully taking out one or two fighters. I gave up trying my powers and spun and staff at two fighters. One was in front of me and one behind me. I used my staff to block any attacks by spinning it and landing a kick here and there but got hit quite a few times. The one behind me was about to land an ice blast when a pink ecto blast came from above.

"Vlad, what are you doing here? Protect the tribe!" I sneezed at the end of my sentence and Vlad stood behind me, we were in back-to-back position.

"I have duplicates shielding them, they will be fine" he punched the warrior in the face while I knocked one off with the end of my staff. I snuck a peak at the tribe while knocking away two fighters. The village was holding up well enough. The battle will be won soon.

"Retreat!" shouted one of the fighters. The few that could still stand abandoned the unconscious ones and ran away from the battle. I panted slightly, fighting sick really wasn't such a good idea but at least we had won. I flew back to the tribe and gave instructions to Blizzard to gather the unconscious fighters.

"Get some warriors and bring them to the arena. I will decide on what to do with them but until then tend to their injuries but be on guard. If they try to attack, hold them in place, and freeze their bodies if you have to, but I want them still on this plane" Blizzard nodded and repeated my instructions to everyone else. I returned my weapon into its handle form and made my way slowly to the arena. I collapsed slightly on the way there but Vlad caught me.

"And where do you think you're going?" I struggled to get up but he held me down and in my weaker state I could not get up. I sneezed again and he handed me a tissue.

"I may be sick but I still have a tribe to look after. If anything happens to them-" I sneezed into the tissue mid-sentence, "and I'm not there because I'm at home resting, then I'll never forgive myself." I blew my nose and proceeded to head towards the arena again. Vlad wasted no time in scooping me up, bridal style, and carrying me over to my house.

"What are you doing?" I asked while thrashing around in his arms. He had a stronger grip then I thought or my cold really was affecting me in the worse ways. He opened the door to my room and plopped me straight onto my bed, making a duplicate at the same time.

"You will stay here and rest. I volunteered to be your messenger until your cold goes away remember? Until you are well again, my duplicate will stay here and watch over you while also telling me what you want me to do for you" I glared at him for a second before sneezing and giving up trying to manage this while sick. He was right though, he did volunteer to be my messenger for this so I guess I had no choice.

"Ok fine. Go to the arena and see if the fighters are conscious first" he nods and flies off while duplicate Vlad hands me a box of tissue which I gladly accepts. Deciding there was nothing better to do; I got up and grabbed a book from my shelf and start reading. Duplicate Vlad leaves after a few minutes saying something about making soup. I was about half-way through chapter five of my book when he places a tray on my lap with a steaming, and slightly glowing, bowl of chicken soup.

"The fighters are conscious already, what do you want to do with them?" he asks while I'm slowly sipping my soup. I thought for a moment on what to do. On one hand, I could make sure they would never attack anyone ever again (but that's against my morals and the tribe's peaceful ways) on the other hand I could let them go free and possibly risk another full scale attack. So I went with the smart choice.

"Wait for my god-father, until he arrives I want the fighters to be contained in the arena" duplicate Vlad nods while I finish up the last of my soup.

"Spirit, I have returned from Dora's kingdom, she says hi" I smile at my god-father as he enters the room smiling widely, carrying a basket full of herbs and a bunch of fabrics. He places the items to one side as duplicate Vlad disappears and he sits next to me on my bed.

"What has happened while I was gone?" other than the attack from today, I'm not really sure if he missed much. I quickly grabbed a tissue and sneezed into it before sniffing a little and incinerating the tissue.

"Well, a new baby was born, her name is Snowfall, and she's healthy and very healthy. Yesterday nothing much happened, and I got sick with ghost flu today-" he gave me a sympathetic look, "-and some group of ex-tribe members called the Freezer fighters attacked today. We were able to protect everyone and capture some of the fighters. I told Vlad to hold off any action towards them until you returned. Vlad actually helped a lot during the battle." Frostbite made a slightly shocked look before smiling and getting up again.

"I will see to the captured Freezer Fighters. And Plamius will have my thanks" he gathered the materials before shutting the door, leaving me to myself. I can't believe he was actually grateful to Vlad, I never thought I'd see the day. Or I might be so sick I'm getting delusional.

Guess I'll never really know.
