It took many hours and magic had gotten so bright that Roy could hardly see but when it faded he stared in complete shock at the little one he was holding. He was in awe of this beautiful creature that was now in his arms.

The creature glowed white and when it dimmed it was a baby girl with a dolphin tail and a pair of see through wings.

A gentle touch with Erik's wand and the tail turned into legs and the wings vanished. The baby let out it's first cry before calming down.

Roy swallowed as he looked up and smiled at the tired couple. "It's a girl!"

"Tail AND wings," Erik said reassuringly.

The parents smiled proudly as they were given their daughter. Corla tearfully kissed her cheek as Urchin ran a finger over her brow.

"Ten fingers, ten toes, all she needs now is a name," Erik said smiling.

The two looked at each other and the Professor swore they were communicating telepathically before Corla kissed him. "She deserves it."

Urchin nodded and drew in a breath. "Marina...after my mother."

Erik nodded and lead Roy out. "It's a girl!"

The women squealed and the men cheered!

"What's she look like?" Gilligan asked.

"She has Corla's features and Urchin's eyes. She was also born with wings and a tail," Erik said.

"Oh how marvelous! What's her name?" Isabella asked.

"Marina, after Urchin's mother," Roy said.

"Lovely name," King Truan said smiling. "Her future will be bright. I guarantee it."

"When can we see her?" Raina asked excited.

"Yeah! Can't believe my Little Buddy is a father!" Silas said.

The use of the affectionate nickname made the Skipper smile. His gaze landed on Gilligan and the two shared a smile.

"Heh go on in now. In the meantime I'll get their provisions unpacked."

Gilligan looked at him. "Provisions?"

Erik looked at the boy and smiled. "Well yes. We brought some provisions for all of you to make your stay here a little more bearable." He grinned. "Starting with you." He went over to the first mate and tapped his palm with the wand. The boy glowed for a moment before vanishing. "If you are anything like Urchin I can bet that trouble finds you often."

Gilligan blushed with a grin! "Um...well…"

A sword appeared in his hand. It was about four feet long and gleamed in the sunlight. His name was carved into the blade. "Take this to help you defend yourself against your enemies." Erik looked the boy in the eyes. "I've watched you. You are exactly like Urchin. Good. Brave. A little clumsy on land but graceful in the sea. As Urchin has touched us I have no doubt that you have touched the lives of your friends. You have a magic all your own."

The sailor blushed with a small smile as he held the sword.

Erik waved his wand and boxes of food, clothes, and barrels of fresh water appeared around the camp. The huts changed into better and stronger homes that could withstand any storm. A guns and several rounds of ammunition were provided as well. He then pointed to the table where he filled it with a feast fit for royalty full of steak, chicken, herbs, potatoes, and many delicious desserts.

The castaways mouths watered as they looked at the food and their eyes widened at what they were being given simply for taking care of a merman.

After resting up Corla and Urchin stepped out of the hut among cheers and applause from everyone. A party was held and the visitors had to laugh when Roy and Ginger pretty much shoved Gilligan and Mary Ann together so that they could dance stating that they were all tired of them ignoring their obvious feelings for each other!

The two blushed before threatening to lock Ginger and the Professor in a cave until they finally admitted THEIR feelings! Before the academic could respond Ginger stated that she wouldn't mind it as she put her arms around him.

Needless to say that caused a few snickers!

All in all the celebration went well.

At the end King Truan raised a glass. "A toast to Princess Marina!"

After they toasted the king continued. "The kingdom will celebrate for many days to come. This child will be the one to inherit the kingdom and become queen."

The parents stared at him in complete shock!

"Your Majesty…!" Urchin started.

"Dear One listen to me. She will be taught everything she needs to know. She is already a princess under the sea for you are already king."

"WHAT?!" came the shocked castaways.

Urchin blushed with a grin "Uh...well when Romas was defeated I became ruler of the sea. The war between the Sharktails and Dolphintails was because only one species could rule. I'm not REALLY a king or a prince. I don't really have subjects since I'm the last of my kind."

Corla nodded. "We're happy but...King Truan are you sure?"

"Very. She will be raised with love and, as I stated, will be taught everything she needs to know."

"What if it's not what she wants?" Urchin asked. "What if she's unhappy with that choice?"

"Then we will give her until she is of age. On her eighteenth birthday she will make the choice on her own," Isabella said. "If she does not wish it than we will come up with another plan. Either way her happiness will be top priority."

They nodded in agreement.

The king's announcement made Thurston begin to think seriously about his own fortune. His gaze traveled around the table to the friends he had acquired during his stay on the island. He smiled gently. They were his family and he would treat them as such.

Once the sun set the castaways escorted their visitors back to the ship.

Urchin turned to them. "I'm sorry we can't rescue you."

"Don't worry about it. You've helped more than you'll ever know," Skipper said smiling.

The merman nodded as he shook everyone's hands and hugged the women. When he shook Gilligan's hand their hands glowed white and Urchin winked at him before letting go and returning to the Gilligan.

The Castaways waved goodbye as they watched the ship sail away and into another magic made whirlpool. Once it left they turned to Gilligan and smiled as the boy looked at his palm where wood carved dolphin was placed.

Gilligan smiled. He would never forget his mirror image who showed him that he was indeed loved and fine just the way he was. He never had to change.

Upon arrival home Urchin was met with great fanfare and when Marina was announced the cheers just got louder!

Corla smiled as she leaned against her husband and looked down at her daughter. It had all been worth it. They were together and they were home.

Now it was time to begin another adventure: parenthood!

The End!
