Bundle of Joy

(Bella's POV)

"Momma, when is the baby gonna come? I really want to meet him!" Renesmee told me. I could tell she was getting restless now. She just wanted to meet her new little brother more than anything in the world.

Currently, I was spending the day with my daughter in the living room. We were snuggled up together reading her favorite stories. It was a really nice special day, just the two of us.

The others were on a hunt while I got to spend some nice downtime with my daughter. They weren't far because the baby could come any day now. Everyone just wanted to be fully fed before the baby came. Just so they were completely alert.

"I don't know angel, when the baby feels like it," I said to her, rubbing my baby bump.

"I want the baby come soon though!" Renesmee pouted as she placed a hand on my enlarged stomach.

I laughed and kissed the top of her head. She then goes to snuggle deeper into my side. I enjoyed the time I had left with just Renesmee. I was going to have two kids now. It's going to definitely be different from just having Renesmee as an only child. I wasn't going to forget her or anything, I was going to love her and the new baby equally. Renesmee will always be my little nudger and my firstborn. I just want to spend as much time as I could with her before the new baby came home. But to think...I thought I would only have Renesmee. Now I would have two children. Two beautiful children.

My voice then filled the once silent home. I was halfway through the book when all of a sudden I felt a sharp pain. I winced, grabbing my enlarged stomach.

"Momma! Are you okay?" Renesmee asked, fear lacing her voice. She noticed right away something was wrong.

"I don't know angel- ah it's the baby," I cried out. I tried to get up, only to fall back down. I cringed with immense pain. This baby wanted out now.

"Momma, don't move! I'll get Daddy and Grandpa!" Renesmee told me fiercely. She was about to rush out the door, but panic flew through me. What if the man of all four found her? She was going out there alone! That's dangerous. Absolutely dangers.

"No! Renesmee, don't go out there!" I cringed in pain, stopping her before she could leave my sight.

"Why?" She questioned curiously.

"It's not important right now! Just give me the phone and I'll call Daddy," I ordered her, wincing. "I need you right now, baby. Please. I need you." She then nods, running at vampire speed to where my cell phone was. Renesmee handed it to me with Edward's number dialing.

"Hello? Love?" Edward's velvet voice echoed through the phone.

"Edward! I think it's time to deliver the baby! He wants out!" I cried out into the phone, wincing come more. "And this one- it hurts!"

"Oh god- Look love, hang in there we'll be right there," he told me as calmly as he could.

"Okay," I answered, taking a deep breath.

"Alright now love, put Renesmee on the phone," he instructed me.

"Sure." I then hand my daughter the phone. She takes it with such urgency.

"Daddy?...Ah huh...Alright...Ok...Love you too," She answered, nodding as she hung onto his every word. She then hung the phone up and looked at me with careful eyes.

"What is it baby?" I asked, cupping her cheek.

"Daddy wants me to stay by your side no matter what and that he'll be here right away," She said, taking my hand and grabbing it tightly in hers.

Now I just waited crouched down on the floor waiting for my husband and family to arrive. Renesmee right by my side. We were getting worried, when we heard a knock on the door.

"Oh god please let it be them," I waddled over towards the door, ignoring my daughter's protests. As I got closer I smelt Jacob and groaned. Not them!

"Hey, Bells!" Jacob greeted us enthusiastically. I watched as the fear take over in his eyes when he noticed something was wrong. "Are you okay?"

"No Jake, Masen wants to get out! They need to deliver the baby now and the others are rushing back from a hunt," I snapped. I felt bad snapping at him but this hurt like hell.

"Bella, go to the couch and don't move a muscle. You shouldn't be walking around," Jake said, guiding me towards the nearest seat.

"Yeah Momma, don't move. Just stay right there. Jake keep an eye out for the others, I'll stay with Momma," Renesmee instructed.

"Okay," Jacob agreed, nodding his head before he dashed out the door. Renesmee then took a seat by me and held tightly to my hand.

"I'm not going to leave you side until Daddy and Grandpa arrive," She stated, smiling at me.

"Thanks baby, your going to be a really great sister you know that right?" I told her, cupping her cheek.

"You're a great Momma too," Renesmee said. I stroked her curls, trying to ignore the pain for a few moments. I then felt an even sharper pain. I cried out, trying to contain myself. I could feel a scream coming on. I tried to bite it back, but I could feel some of my bones cracking. This child was strong. Just like Renesmee was. So as the baby tried to move, I felt an even sharper pain take over. Like my entire body was being twisted on the inside.

This time I couldn't help it, so I let a scream out. This obviously scared Renesmee. I instantly regretted it as she held on tightly to me. "Momma!? Are you okay?" Renesmee asked frantically, hugging onto me.

"Yeah, it's just...This is very painful," I explained my daughter, trying to ease the pain and comfort her. "I'll be better soon. I promise."

"Bells! I heard a scream!" Jacob called out, coming in. "Everything okay?"

"I don't think so," I said, wincing. "God! Where are they?"

"Love!" Edward cried out, rushing into the room seconds later.

"Well, just in time vamp," Jacob remarked dryly as Edward came over to my side. He took my free side while Renesmee was on the other side of me. Edward's arms wrapping around my frame.

"Is everything okay? How are you?" Edward asked me, running a hand through my hair.

"It's getting worse. He's getting restless. My bones are breaking," I told him, gripping onto his shirt. "We need to get him out. Edward, he doesn't want to stay in here any longer."

"We will. We will," My husband reassured me, kissing my forehead.

Carlisle then came running in with Rosalie right behind him. He looked down and immediately came to check me out.

"Okay. We need to get the baby out now," Carlisle said sternly. "Bring Bella into my office, Edward. We'll deliver the baby there. Rosalie you come too."

My husband then scooped me up bridal style. My hands tightly wrapped around the fabric of his shirt.

"I love you, Momma!" Renesmee called out to me. She was now curled up on Jacob's lap, watching me with worried eyes.

"I love you too, baby," I told my daughter before Edward carried me away. When we got into Carlisle's office, my husband placed me on the examination table. Rosalie reached out to grab my hand while Edward and Carlisle talked complications. Rosalie joined in as well. They were arguing on certain things, but I didn't care. I just wanted the baby out.

"What's going on?" I demanded restlessly.

"We're just trying to see how we should approach this. Don't worry, Bella," Rosalie reassured me.

"Do I need to push with this one?" I asked. "Or is something else going to happen?"

"You're going to have to push him out. It's going to be just like a regular human birth," Carlisle declared.

"Alright, Edward you take over here. Your wife needs you," Rosalie ordered him. "I'll help Carlisle."

My husband then came to my side, grabbing my hand tightly in his. I tried to smile through the pain. "You got this love. You got it," Edward told me, kissing my crown.

"Okay then, let's do this," I said.

It didn't take very long. It was painful, but soon the pain all subsided. I just remembering holding on tightly to Edward's hand and soon, a new cry filled the air. I fell back against the back of the examination table. The pain left my body due to the venom in my system taking over, fixing all the bones the baby broke. I felt a sense of relief, but I just wanted to see my child.

"Go check on him," I ordered Edward, resting for a moment. He nodded, going over to where Rosalie and Carlisle where checking our new baby out.

Edward paused the moment he saw our son. I could tell something was wrong by the look on his face. There was maybe shock or surprise, "Um...Bella."

"What?" I asked frantically. Was the baby okay? Was something wrong with the baby? "Is he okay?"

"Are there any other names you had in mind?" Edward asked me, a smirk appearing his face.

"What do you mean?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"Well looks like Alice was wrong," Edward announced, picking up our baby in his arms. "It's a girl, love."

"A daughter," I repeated slowly. "A little girl."

"Yes...And she looks like she has my old green eyes," Edward mused, bringing our daughter over to me.

"Beautiful," I said the moment the soft bundle was placed in my arms.

Edward came to my side and our newborn daughter smiled at us. I could tell her and Renesmee were both sisters because of their facial features and hair. The only difference was Renesmee has big warm chocolate eyes and my youngest daughter now has a unique shade of emerald green eyes. They seemed to sparkle like real emeralds. I wonder if Edward's eyes used to sparkle like that.

"Alice!" I called out. It didn't take long for my pix of a sister to come prancing into the room. A bright smile on her face.

"Yes, Bella?" She asked innocently.

"You know it's a girl right?" I raised my eyebrow at her.

"You wanted a surprise so I gave you a surprise," Alice chirped, dancing over to my side to see our new baby.

"Crazy pixie," I murmured under my unnecessary breath.

"Want me to get Renesmee?" Edward asked me. I nodded, giving a gentle smile. Alice then helped me get presentable for my daughter while Rosalie took my daughter in her arms. I wanted to look at least presentable for Renesmee. I didn't want to scare her by my ragged appearance.

Edward came in guiding Renesmee into the room followed by the others. My youngest daughter was now in onesie and wrapped in a nice warm blanket. Her tiny body cradled in my arms.

"Oh! Momma where is he?" Renesmee grinned, trying to peek inside the little bundle.

"Renesmee, we have a surprise for you," I told her, a smile appearing on my face.

"What?" She asked me curiously, raising her eyebrows.

"Looks like your Auntie Alice decided to have fun with your mother," Daddy said, chuckling. "You have a sister."

"For real!" Her eyes automatically lit up. "No way!"

She squealed and then tries to climb onto the examination table to see for herself. Edward chuckled, helping her get up onto the table so she could look at her baby sister for the first time.

While this occurs, everyone else in the family comes to take a closer look at our youngest miracle. I loved that both of our daughters now had our eyes.

I always wondered what Edward's green eyes would have looked like ever since Carlisle told me about them. I didn't have the heart to say anything to Edward because I knew it would make him upset due to the fact he wasn't human.

"She's so pretty Aunt Bewa," Lily spoke up as she peeked over in Emmett's arms. Rosalie scooped Aidan up for him to get a closer look too.

"Does this mean the girls out number us now?" Aidan asked lamely. We all laughed and looked at the new baby in awe.

"She has green eyes, like daddy's old?" Renesmee questioned curiously.

"Yes, dear," I answered, brushing my eldest daughters curls.

I watched Renesmee look at our daughter with a brilliant grin on her face, "I think I know what to name her now."

"What?" I asked my daughter.

"How about Elizabelle Rosemary Cullen," Renesmee suggested. "It's your name combined with Daddy's momma's plus her middle name is Aunt Alice's and Aunt Rosalie's names combined. We can call her Lizzy for short."

I hummed in approval, but turned to my husband for approval as well, "What do you think, Edward?"

"It fits her," he agreed, smiling fondly. "Elizabelle Rosemary Cullen. I think that's it."

"Can I hold her Momma?" Renesmee asked me, batting her eyes. "Please?"

"Sure baby," I told her. I then carefully placed Elizabelle into her arms and Renesmee gleamed. I made my way into Edward's arms as we watched our two daughters smile at one another.
