Update! And it's up earlier than normal! So I've been thinking..do you guys want shorter quicker updates, or slower longer updates? And also I have over 100 favorites on this story! Thank you! Now on with the story:

That night I wasn't able to sleep. Natsu probably hates me now. Why is it that when I'm the rich Lucy, he's nice and kind, but when I'm poor Lucy, he's rude and arrogant.

buzz buzz

My phone vibrated. It was a text. I reached over to grab my phone and checked the message. It was from Natsu! I felt relieved and nervous to open the message. What if he's mad at me? I finally gathered up my courage and opened the message. It says:

Sorry for being a jerk. I never knew people felt that way about me since I always have people surrounding me all the time. Please don't hate me. I promise I will change. -Natsu Dragneel

I was speechless. Maybe Natsu was a nice guy all along but didn't notice his own arrogance because of his fans? That would make sense right? Anyone who is surrounded by so many people would have a sense of self-importance. I hit the reply button on my phone:

Okay. -Lucy

The rest of the week Natsu wasn't in school. I was worried since it was partially my fault. I spent my days with Levy and Gajeel, although his fans girls were convinced that we tricked Gajeel to befriend us. This past week Levy and Gajeel have become really close. Gajeel is constantly teasing the blue haired girl by commenting on her short height and by calling her a "bookworm". Levy would get all flustered and blush and call him "stupid" for a lack of better words. I find their relationship to be extremely cute.

Once again school ended and it was time to go home. Gajeel offered to walk Levy home and I went my own way because I didn't want to be the third wheel. Plus, I think they should have some time alone to themselves. I told Loke not to pick me up today because I needed some time to clear my thoughts. Who would have ever thought that the pink headed boy would affect me this much?

I was walking home when a red ferrari pulls up besides me. 'Wait, doesn't Natsu own a red Ferrari?'

The window rolls down, and just as I thought, a pink haired boy was revealed.

"Yo. Mind getting in? I want to show you something," Natsu grinned. I was a bit skeptical, but I got into the car anyways.

"So where are you bringing me?" I asked.

"Hold on, you'll know in ten minutes" he said. I raised a brow, but only to have him grin back.

Ten minutes later

"We're here!" he exclaims happily. I get out of the car.

"Where exactly are we?" I questioned. We were standing in front of a large hospital.

"It's the Script hospital. I've been coming here for the past week" he tells me. 'Script hopsital? I wonder if Levy owns it. And the past week? Is that why he wasn't in school?' "Come on, let's go in"

We walk up to the receptionist.

"Hello, I'm here to visit the kids again." grinned Natsu.

"Oh, back so soon. It's always nice to see you, and the kids also seem to have a liking to you. Walk right in Mr. Dragneel" the receptionist smiles.

"Thank you" Natsu says before he grabs my hand and leads me down a series of hallways before entering a room.

Inside, kids in hospital gowns were playing with trucks, coloring, stacking blocks, playing dolls, etc. A boy around six notices us and yells, "Hey guys, Natsu is back!"

All the kids looked over at us. "Natsu!" they scream. Kids started running towards us from all directions and tackled the pink haired boy. He gets pushed to the ground and laughs as the kids climb on top of him.

"Who's your friend?" a little girl asked, obviously referring to me.

Natsu sits up, crosses his legs, and smiles, "Oh, that's Kaori, she a girl in class. Why don't you kids welcome her"

"Ok~" the kids said in unison. They scrabbled over to me until I was surrounded.

"Hey, guys" I said with my voice a pitch higher than normal. "I'm Lu- I mean Kaori. What do you guys want to do?"

"Let's play dragon!" said a boy. All the kids yelled in agreement.

"How do you play?" I asked.

"Ask Natsu. He was the one who made on the game" said the boy. I looked over at Natsu quizzingly. 'Strange how he has a weird obsession with dragons. First the name of his group at school, and now a child's game?'

"So Natsu. How do you play?" I asked teasingly.

"Well," he says, "the boys are the dragons and the girls are the princesses. And then we shall be the knights that protect the princesses from the dragons."

"Ok, sounds simple enough. When do we start?"

Before I knew it, I was in a extreme battle with a million mini boy dragons. We used fake cardboard swords that you get from inside paper towel rolls. After what felt like hours, with the boys roaring and the girls screaming to protect them, they were all tired out. Nurses had to come in and carry the kids to their beds.

One of the nurses came up to us. "Thank you for coming. The kids always get so excited when visitors come."

"It's no big deal," said Natsu.

"Mr. Dragneel, you're being too modest. Your company donates toys to the kids every Christmas and you come by at least a couple times a month to visit", said the nurse, "having such an important person like yourself come here is truly wonderful." 'Couple times a month? Wow, I never would have thought.'

Natsu thanked the nurse and we left the hospital.

"Thanks for accompanying me today. I think the kids also enjoyed having you there," said Natsu as we got back into his car.

"This isn't a scheme to get Lucy to like you again is it?" I asked still a bit skeptical of his actions. Natsu laughs nervously as he drives.

"Well.. I do want her to like me, but I also wanted to show to people that I'm not that bad of a person. Am I?"

I thought for a moment. "No. I guess not"

"That's good," Natsu chuckles. He checks the time on his watch. "It's six already!" his eyes widened. "Sorry Kaori, I didn't mean to make you stay this late," he apologized, "How about I give you a ride home?" he offered.

"Sure," I said.

"Where do you live anyways?" he asked.

(...)

'Shoot! I forgot! I don't have a house as Kaori. Think, Lucy, think! I can't get Loke to pick me up cause he doesn't know I'm with a guy and he'll probably bring a limo which will make Natsu suspicious. Levy might still be with Gajeel and I wouldn't want to interrupt them. I could call a taxi, but Natsu would surely make a fuss. I guess I could walk, but I don't know the directions. Damn it, what other options do I have?'

-silence-

"So...are you going to tell me?" he asked again. "I promise I won't judge you."

I sighed. I guess it's time to tell him the truth. "Bring me to the Heartfilia manor" I said. He raises a brow.

"Why are we going there for?" he asked.

"I live there" I said nonchalantly. His eyes widen.

"Is that why you're so close to Lucy," he asked.

"No." I answered.

"Then why?"

"Because I am Lucy."

Cliff hanger! What will happen next now that Lucy's identity is revealed! You'll have to wait for the next chapter to find out. Hehehe. As always, please follow/favorite/review. And thanks for the constant support. I love you guys!
