Hello everyone! Happy Memorial Day! I know this is a late update and you guys are probably mad, but its finally up! I received a very flattering comment from a reader not too long ago and it gave me the motivation to complete this chapter. I would say who it was, but unfortunately the person's name was under Guest (you know who you are). Anyways, there is a time skip in this chapter (which you would probably read anyways). Now, on with the story! (Warning:not edited)

Natsu's POV

It's been a month since Lucy left, and I already miss her so badly. The day that she finally became my girlfriend, she had to leave for America for only God knows how long. The only people that know that we're dating are Levy, Gajeel, Erza, Gray. Students still can't believe that 'Kaori' was Lucy the whole time. I can't blame them though, I thought the same. Lucy and I have kept in touch, but it's been difficult with the different time zones. When I'm awake, she's sleeping; and when I'm sleeping, she's awake. I really hope she comes back to me soon.

Gray and Erza looked over at their best friend. His head was on his desk and he keep sighing every few minutes.

"Can you stop that already?" asked Gray.

"Stop what?" I asked back.

"Stop the sighing. You're becoming really depressing to be around," says Gray.

"I can't help it. I'm love sick," I said.

"I thought you guys talked every day," said Erza.

"We do," I say back. "It's just that the different times zones makes it difficult, and plus, Lucy's always busy these days."

"Why don't you go visit her?" suggested Erza.

"I can't," I said plainly.

"Why not?" asked Gray.

"What if she thinks I'm a bother. Or what if she doesn't like me anymore because she found a super hot guy in America," I said depressed.

"Oh shut it Natsu," says a voice from afar. It was Lucy's blue haired friend. "Lucy would never think of you that way or cheat on you, or anything. And you know that. She's actually more concern that girls will hit on you, while she's away."

That piece of information shocked me. How could she think that I would cheat on her. She's so much better than any of the girls who go to this school.

"I wouldn't cheat," I said back to Levy.

"I think we all know that you and Lucy both won't cheat on each other. You've both been through so much together," says Levy.

That's true. Who would've thought that the same nerd that I picked on was actually the owner of the company that I always wanted to surpass and later became my girlfriend. It's funny how things worked sometimes.

"So how's Lucy doing in America anyways?" asked Erza.

"Well judging from the news," said Gray while placing a newspaper on her desk, "She's doing just fine."

Erza picks up the newspaper and reads the headlines.

Lucy Heartfilia takes America by Storm!

Owner Lucy Heartifila has expanded her company, Lucky Stars Hotel, to America. Hundreds of people are currently rushing in to see the newly designed branch company.

"That's Lucy for you," smiled Levy.

I smiled knowing that she is still doing well. With everything that she's been through, she deserved every ounce of respect.

"I know guys!" Levy said as she claps her hands together. "How about we all go together to visit her! I mean it's only natural for us to visit the best hotel in America right?"

Everyone looked at each other.

"I thinks that's a great idea shrimp," says Gajeel as he made his way over to the group. Levy blushes.

"I'm down," says Gray.

"Count me in too," says Erza.

"Well, that's settled then. Let's go visit Lucy!" Levy shouted with excitement.

Lucy's POV

I leaned back on my chair and sighed. I've been in America one whole month already. It's amazing how much I've accomplished during my short stay. The company is finally up and running. Maybe I can even finally return home to Japan to visit Levy and Natsu.

My head started to pound. I guess I've been working too long at my desk again. But the sooner, I get everything in place, the sooner I can go home.

I turn my chair around to look out the window at the night sky. No stars. One of the reasons I hate cities is because it seems like there are never any stars out no matter what time of the year.

My eyelids started to become heavy. And soon enough, I fell asleep.

Natsu's POV

"WE'RE IN AMERICA!" shouted Levy.

"Shut it, shrimp. You're making my ears bleed,"said Gajeel. Levy pouted and crossed her arms. "Oh, come on. I was just kidding."

Levy held her stance. Gajeel nudged her. "I know you can't stay angry for long," he smirked.

Levy finally lightened up. "Yeah, your right. For some reason, I can never stay angry at you," she smiled.

The crew finally made it to America after a 12 hour flight. Each had one suitcase and a carry on, except for Erza who had suitcase after suitcase of stuff. She was convinced that she needed to pack for every situation.

"So sight-seeing first?" asked Erza.

"Yes, let's go!" Levy jumped excited.

"I'm going to go visit Lucy first. I'll catch up with you guys later," I said.

Everyone waved me off in approval.

Lucy's POV

knock knock

"Come in." I looked up from my desk to see a blonde hair male walk in. "Oh, hey Sting. What bring you into my office on this fine morning?"

"Your beauty of course," he winked. I rolled my eyes. He's such a flirt. Sting's family owns one of the largest company's in America. He was nice enough to help me set up my branch here, but his flirtatiousness can be a little offsetting.

"You do know I have a boyfriend, right?" I said.

The male shrugs his shoulders. "Well, he's not here right now." He walks over to my desk and slams his hand down on the papers I was working on.

"Hey! What was that f-," His face was right in front of mine as in stared at me with a mischievous grin.

"You know, Lucy, your boyfriend doesn't need to know about us. We can just keep quiet about this and he wouldn't even know. Heck, he's not even in the same country." I gulped. I was used to Sting's usual comments, but this was too far even for him.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that," said a voice. I looked up. It was Natsu! And boy did he look pissed.

"Step away from my girlfriend," he growled.

Sting takes his hands off my desk, and turns around to walk towards Natsu. "So this is the famous, Natsu Dragneel, that I've heard so much about. Nothing special, if you ask me," Sting smirked.

"Why you-"

"Natsu!" I said, interrupting him. I ran over to him and pulled him into a warm embrace. His tense body began to relax. "Come on, let's get out of here." I take hold of his hand and led him out of the room, leaving Sting in there alone.

"What are you doing here," I asked, while still holding his hand.

"Why? Not happy to see me?" he teased.

"Of course I am! It's just that I could've picked you up from the airport and at least prepare for your arrival," I said shyly.

"So who was that guy in there?" Natsu asked, completely changing the subject.

"His family owns a large company. He helped me out a lot when I first got here, but I think he's been getting a bit too comfortable around me," I said honestly.

"You think?" Natsu raised a brow.

"Why are you jealous," I teased this time.

"Jealous of that guy. No way," Natsu said confidently.

"Good." I smiled. "Cause your the only person I want, anyways." Natsu used his hand to cover up his blush. He's so adorable.

"So did you come alone," I asked. He shook his head.

"Erza, Gray, Levy and Gajeel came with me, but they're all going sight-seeing right now," he said.

"Why didn't you join them?" I said.

"And not see you. Yeah right. Your way more worth seeing an any object," he said, making me blush.

I'm so glad that we can see be so casual around each other even after not seeing each other for a month. Heck, I think our relationship even went up another level. I know the whole boyfriend-girlfriend thing was quick of us, but with the amount of things we been through together already, I think it was the perfect timing.

"So where are you staying tonight?" I asked.

"Where do you think," he said, giving me the 'isn't it obvious look'.

"Come on Natsu. Don't make me guess."

"For someone as smart as you, you sure can be dense sometimes," he says. "We're staying here obviously."

"What! Really?" I said excitedly.

"Yup. We booked the best rooms you had. You better not disappoint me," he said.

I couldn't help but grin. I just couldn't believe that everyone came to America, just to visit me.

"So do you still want to go sight-seeing?" I grinned.

I take Natsu to the top of the building where I keep my private helicopter.

"We're going sight-seeing in a helicopter?" he asked.

I shrugged. "Why not? It's the fastest way to see everything. Here put on these earmuffs," I said.

He takes the earmuffs from my hand and put it on.

"Can you hear anything?" I scream.

Natsu takes them off. "What did you say?" he asked.

"Good they work. I was just making sure that you couldn't hear anything. The loud sounds of the wind can damage your ears when we get in the air. But don't worry, there is a communication device inside if we want to talk to each other. Now buckle your seatbelt."

Natsu did as he was told and put his earmuffs back on. I sat in a seat next to him and did the same.

"We're ready to go!" I said to the pilot. He gives me a thumbs up before starting the engine. Soon enough, we were flying through the air.

"Press the button on the side of your earmuff if you want to talk," I said using the communication device.

I watched as Natsu pressed the button before speaking. "If you had a helicopter, why did you go on a plane to America?" he asked.

"A plane is safer than a helicopter when flying long distances," I said while pressing the button. Natsu nodded. "So is there anything you want to see in particular?" I asked.

Natsu shook his head. "Just being with you is enough for me." My face started to heat up and I tried to look for a distraction.

"Hey, isn't that Levy and the gang, down there?" I asked.

Natsu looked out the window. "Seems so."

"Can we go down there," I asked the pilot. He gave me another thumbs up before proceeded to descend the helicopter.

Natsu got out first, and helped me out.

"You may go back to the hotel. Thanks for the ride." The pilot nodded and flew off.

I turned my attention back to the gang.

Levy tackled me into a hug. "Luccyyy, I missed you!"

"I missed you too, Levy." I leaned in to whisper in her ear, "How's everything going with Gajeel," I asked. Levy blushed.

"It's going really well. He gives off that bad-boy appearance but he's really sweet to me," she smiles. 'Natsu is the same,' I thought to myself.

"So why didn't you tell me that you guys were coming?" I asked.

"Well, we wanted it to be a surprise," said Erza.

"That and pink head over there was getting depressed that he couldn't see you," Gray piped in.

"Hey! Don't tell her that," Natsu blushed. Everyone laughed. Spending time was these guys is definitely the best.

"Let's go to your hotel now, Lucy! I can't wait to see it!" says Levy happily.

"Ok," I said, "but I'm going to change up your room arrangements a bit."

"Huh?" everyone said in unison.

"Wow, this place is amazing," Gray stated. They were in the top level of the hotel building-Lucy's own personal apartment which took up the entire level.

"Yeah Luce. You actually live here?" said Levy. I nodded. 'Wow' she mouthed.

"You can see the whole city from up here," said Gajeel.

"So where are our rooms," asked Erza, getting strait to the point.

"There should be six bedrooms upstairs, including mine," I said. "My room is the one on the immediate right of the stairs, and you guys are free to choose whichever room you want. I figure this way we can all hang out together."

In the end, Levy picked the room on the right of Lucy's, and Gejeel's room was on the right of Levy's. Erza picked the room on the far left, Gray's was next to her's and Natsu's room was between Gray's and Lucy's. So from left to right the room orders are: Erza, Gray, Natsu, Lucy, Levy, and Gajeel.

"Why do you have all these bedrooms anyways," said Erza.

Lucy blushed. "Well I kind of took into account that maybe I would invite you all over one day, but you guys took the initiative instead."

"Aww Lucy, that so sweet," Levy said, giving her another hug.

"It's getting late. Why don't you guys start settling in, and then we can all go shopping together tomorrow morning," I suggested.

"Sounds good," says Gray.

Everyone went upstair to their rooms, except for Lucy and Natsu who stood outside their rooms to talk.

"I still can't believe that everyone is here," I said to Natsu. "Who would've thought that I would gain so many new friends and even a boyfriend."

Natsu laughed. "Why wouldn't you. Your such a kind, caring, and beautiful person. Everyone naturally gravitates towards you."

"Thanks, Natsu. That's sweet of you to say. Well, I better go off to bed now. Good night, Natsu" I said while reaching for the doorknob of my room.

A hand suddenly grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer to his body. His lips gently pushed on my own for a brief second, before pulling away.

"Good night, Lucy," he smirked and went into his room.

Lucy was left dumbfounded.

"Damn, now I won't be getting any sleep tonight," I thought to myself.

So, I have a feeling that this story will be ending very soon. But unfortunately for me, I didn't plan out this story at all, so I don't know what I want to do with the ending. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm planning on starting another story! Woohoo! Don't forget to follow/favorite/review, thanks!
