Plans

(Renesmee's POV)

"Nessie! Do you wanna outside?" Masen asked me as he came running over. I was sitting by the window, reading a book, when my little brother approached me.

Masen was all ready running around and he was only maybe two months old. I guess you can say he was like me in growth, but much, much, much, more faster. Masen looked like a small kindergardener. When I was around his age I looked to be about a small toddler. He does only have five years for a childhood, meanwhile Lizzy and I get a few more. Funny thing is now Lizzy is the baby once again. It wasn't even a week before Masen got older than Lizzy. I don't think she took that rather well, but I think she doesn't mind being the baby. Gets the most attention, then again she still can't run around with us or play any games. At least Aidan doesn't mind playing with her.

Masen's powers have developed as well. He can read minds and also communicate like me through the touch of his hand. He does have a shield that has developed a bit more so now no one can read his mind. The most interesting thing about him was he could break through any shield, like me but it seems much more powerful. He can break through Momma's and Lizzy's shield. We think he's immune to any type of shield. In fact he can read someone's mind when they have their shield up. He does it to Lizzy all the time to annoy her in a way. I think that kind of makes him the most immune to privacy in this family. This also adds three mind readers to the house and three shields. Goody...

Besides that, my little brother is very athletic. He is into all the sports. I think Daddy and the other guys were happy to see he took a love to baseball. Aunt Alice even got him a jersey that says 'New Years Baby' and he's number thirteen. Though Aunt Alice probably has to get him another one soon. The kid grows out of his clothes like every five minutes. But I don't think Aunt Alice minds the extra shopping. In fact with all of us and our growth rates gives Aunt Alice an excuse to go to the shopping mall basically every day.

"Sure Masen." I smiled while I go to run outside with him. Aidan and Lizzy are playing legos with Seth while Lily comes running over to join us. I guess out of the five of us I'm now normally with Lily and Masen. Aidan and Lizzy are kind of like the younger kids while the rest of us act like the elder. Masen isn't too far from becoming older than me. I kind of like the idea of having an older brother, but at the same time I'm not so sure. I've always been the eldest so let's see how this plays out. I kind like towering over my brother.

I then rushed outside with Lily and Masen, feeling the watery snow crunch underneath my feet. Aunt Alice said, "When the snow melts" is when Lorenzo will come for us along with his coven. There wasn't much time left until spring would come and Lorenzo with it. That could even mean days from now because the snow was already melting. It's the month of March and the first day of spring isn't too far from here.

I really wasn't supposed to know about this, but I guess you can say we have our ways. Thanks to Lizzy, we can eavesdrop on the grown ups way better. Normally it's Lizzy hiding somewhere while listening into the conversation. From there she'll send a message via her mind to me.

Grandpa Carlisle called Ethan the other day to update him some more about what was going on. The two of them made a decision that it's best if Ethan were to come up here and stay with us. He can help us with Lorenzo and I think he wants some revenge against him. Lorenzo did murder his family.

"So what do you guys wanna play?" Lily asked as she stood by one of the trees in her winter parka. She was holding to a rag doll Grandma Esme helped her make.

"I don't know" I shrugged.

"Hey! Can I play too?" Aidan asked as he came running over. "Lizzy's taking a nap right now, so I was wondering what you guys were up to."

"We don't know yet," Masen told him as we gathered mourned the tree.

"W could play tag!" I suggested, causing the others to nod enthusiastically.

"Sure!"

"I'll be it!" Masen volunteered.

"Okay!" I told him.

"Well...ready...set...GO!" Masen called out. We all squealed in excitement as we began to dart away from my brother.

We all begin to run around the backyard when a car came pulling up. I look right away to see a new figure approaching us. I took a better look to see it's Ethan. He looked just like how we saw him last. Same baseball cap, just in a winter jacket and some jeans. He had a backpack slung over his shoulder.

"Ethan!" I exclaimed happily, getting his attention. When he saw us he grinned.

"Ethan arrived!" Lily smiled.

"Who?" Masen questioned as him and Aidan ran towards us.

"Ethan, the guy who's just like you," I told my little bother.

"Oh! Right!" Masen said in realization. "Him!"

"Hey, nice to see you kids," Ethan said, approaching us. "You guys differently have gotten bigger since I've last saw you."

"We have!" I told him jovially. I then held onto my little brother's hand and brought him forward. "Ethan, this is Masen. He's my younger brother," I explained."

"Hi, nice to meet you," Masen told him, smiling up at the older man.

"Nice to me you too, kiddo," Ethan replied, giving my brother a high five. "Anyway, you kids might know where your parents are? I kind of need to talk to them."

"In the house," I said, jerking my thumb in the direct of our home. "Now, come on. We'll take you to them."

I then take Ethan's hand and drag him to the front entrance. The others follow me as we usher him into our house. "Grandpa! Grandma! Ethan is here!" I called out into our very large home. Grandma appeared in a nano second with a smile on her face.

"Oh how wonderful! Ethan! It's so nice to see you again." Grandma smiled warmly, greeting him.

"You too, Mrs. Cullen," Ethan responded, smiling politely back.

"Is there anything I can offer you? Carlisle is just in his office. He'll be out in a second," Grandma explained, ushering for Ethan to come in and feel at home.

"No, I'm fine. Thank you though," Ethan told her.

"Well just tell me if you need anything dear," She said before going to see what my grandpa was up to.

"So how was Australia?" Aidan asked curiously, turning to face Ethan. "Drink any Kangaroo blood?"

"Not really, the Kangaroo's are hard to catch," Ethan teased with Aidan.

"Oh, how about Koala's? I heard they're very mean and evil," Aidan questioned.

"Aidan Matthew Hale, behave," Aunt Rosalie chided as she came into the room with the others. Lizzy was now in Momma's arms, slightly yawning.

"Hello Ethan, glad you could come," Grandpa Carlisle announced, walking over to give him a firm handshake.

"No problem, I just hope I can help you guys in any way. I want this man dead like the rest of you so I say we get down to business," Ethan said, nodding his head at the direction of the adults.

"Of course, let's go to the other room," my grandfather said, motioning towards the living room.

"Kids, why don't you go play upstairs," Momma suggested. "The adults need to have adult talk."

"But we wanna hear too!" I protested, the others nodding in agreement.

"Yeah!" Masen chimed in, backing me up. The great thing about Masen was he always backed me up in stuff.

"Kids, it's best if you go upstairs," my dad cut in, his tone stern. "It's not just a suggestion, it's also an order. Trust me when I say it's for the best that you go have fun and not hear what the adults have to say."

"Also no making Lizzy play mission impossible. We saw you guys last time," Uncle Emmett added. "Can't trick us!"

"Rats," Aidan mumbled, snapping his fingers.

"We'll go," I huffed. I then take Lizzy into my arms from Momma and we all make our way upstairs. We decided to head into Aidan's room where we all sat in a circle. We all wanted to know what was going on and we wouldn't stop until we knew.

"So Lizzy are you ready to play mission impossible?" Aidan asked, breaking the silence. My sister huffed as she crossed her baby arms across her chest.

"Never mind..." Aidan muttered.

"The adults know about us, it's no use," Lily grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Well you know Masen can break shields. Momma has her shield up right now, so I can't really listen onto their thoughts either. But Masen can, he can break Momma's shield and has his own shield to protect himself when he goes to listen so the grownups can't detect him. Masen is the only immune one here, and he should be the one feeding us the info," Lizzy said to us through her power so the adults can't hear. "Masen can feed us information. He can tell me and I'll tell you guys."

"Brilliant Lizard!" Aidan complimented her, giving my little sister a small high five.

"I got this," Masen declared proudly. We all huddled quietly in Aidan's room while Masen tip toed downstairs, just close enough so he could hear what was going on in the living room.

"You getting this Lizard?" Aidan questioned softly as Lizzy tried to concentrated on what was going on.

"I got it!" Lizzy exclaimed via her power. That's when Masen came running in moments later.

"So?" I asked, looking to my siblings for an answer.

"Well according to Masen, they were telling Ethan how Lorenzo is coming soon. Ethan says he is going to help fight with us. Also we have the wolves with us and Grandpa Carlisle said that the Denali's should be coming soon...So in other words what I'm getting is...We have ten days until Lorenzo and his coven are going to come for all of us...Wait what?" Lizzy looked at Masen with a shocked expression and he nodded at her.

"What?" I questioned, sensing that something else occurred.

"...And they're sending us away!?"

"Say what?" Aidan questioned.

"They are sending us away to some cabin where he can't find us. While they battle we'll be up in a cabin with Seth, Jacob, and a few of the wolves...Or maybe they're sending us to Denali," Masen concluded, biting his lip. "Point is, they're sending us away."

"But why do they want to send us away?" I questioned anxiously. I don't want to be away from my momma or daddy.

"Because they want us to be safe," Lily stated sadly. "And that means sending us away."

"But I don't wanna go to a cabin! You know that's where all horror movies take place! Oh good golly, we're all gonna die!" Aidan cried out.

"Shhh Aidan, tell the whole world while you're at it!" I hissed, covering his mouth closed.

"What?" He questioned, a bit dumfounded.

"We're not suppose to know!" Lily growled at her brother.

"They heard! Everyone act normal! Momma is coming!" Lizzy warned us. Masen nodded to, scrambling to the floor. I quickly moved with my cousins, brother, and sister over to some board game Aidan had out.

"Hey there," Momma said as we all sat around the board game. Lizzy was on my lap with my brother next to me. Lily and Aidan were on the other side trying to look all innocent like us.

"Hey!" We all said innocently, looking up at her with big bright smile.

"We know you guys were eavesdropping," Momma said, getting to the point. Her eyebrows raised. "You kids are not fooling me."

"We kind of figured..."

Momma sighed and shook her head a bit, "You kids can come down now. Since you know I guess we should discuss this as a family."

We all nod as we head down the stairs. When we enter the living room all the adults are looking at us. I also notice that Jakey is there as well. I smiled the moment I saw him.

While I place Lizzy on Daddy's lap, I head right over to my wolf best friend

"Hey kiddo," He said, picking me up. Masen goes to lift me up in his arms and I immediately snuggle myself onto his lap.

Masen goes to sit on Momma's while Lily takes her place on Aunt Rosalie's and Aidan on Uncle Emmett.

"Okay...So I take it that you all know what are plan is," Grandpa said, looking at us kids. We all nod and he sighed.

"Look we know you don't want to be separated, but we can't have you guys at the house in a time like this. We don't know if any of the um bad men will come after you guys. You need to be somewhere far away and safe. I'm sorry but the rest of us think it's the best if you all head up to a cabin with Jake, Seth, and some of the other wolves like Colin and Brady," Grandpa explained to us.

"Okay," we agreed dejectively. I for one, didn't like the idea of being separated from the rest of my family. It kind of bugged me.

That night Momma and Daddy went to tuck Masen and I in for bed. I really didn't want to go to bed. Lately I've been having dreams where Lorenzo is trying to kill me. His teeth are piercing my neck while I scream for my life. I feel sort of bed because I've woken my sister, brother, and cousins on many occasions because of it.

Lizzy was already snoozing away in her moses basket while Masen and I were under the covers of the bed with Momma and Daddy on either side of us.

"But why do we have to be separated? I don't wanna be away from you guys," I pouted.

"Same," Masen agreed.

"Angels, it's for your safety. If you're anywhere near Lorenzo when he attacks...Well he can get one of you. Your father and I would never forgive ourselves if that happened," Momma explained to us.

"Oh." I felt tears leak out of my eyes as I curled up on the pillow.

"Shh baby don't cry," Momma whispered. I reach my arms out for her as she pulls me into her embrace with Masen. Nowadays I feel like I'm crying all the time. I hate feeling this helpless but with everything going on, but I can't help it.

"Daddy can you hum?" I asked, turning to my father. He nodded as Masen and I shifted to the middle of the bed. Momma went to place Lizzy in the middle of us as Daddy began to hum my lullaby.

Soon I drifted off to sleep; trying not to worry about any of the dangers lurking in the corner.

A/N: So tell me what you thought of the chapter? Loved it? The suspenseful parts are about to come, so be prepared. Anyway the poll is down now, I have an idea where it's going to be. Plus I have a really great idea for the next story and it was with the majority vote. Even though the Cullen's might visit some of those other cities in the future (; But, THANK YOU to everyone who did put their vote into the poll. You helped me make up my mind about a few things, so I thank you once again. In the meantime, please review and love you guys :)
