A/N: I know I left a lot of you wanting to know what happened to Nessie, and I felt pretty evil leaving it off on a cliffhanger like that. Hehehehehe (Lame attempt at an evil laugh). My Reason

(Jacob's POV)

I ran as fast as I could inside the old abandoned house with Quil following right behind me. Ness was taken in here by Lorenzo, and I knew she was in trouble. Call it imprinter's instinct, but I knew.

I entered the house carefully. It was an eerie place. I wouldn't even call it a house at all. Something someone probably set up here not too long ago. The walls of the house were concrete and the windows were all boarded up, so it was pretty dark. As I walked in the house I came across blood smeared on one of the walls and shivered a bit. I knew it wasn't Nessie's blood, but it still was somebody's.

"I think this is where we was living. It's his hideout," Quil thought as he curiously looked around. I could see what he meant. I saw a small cot, a few newspapers, the glimpse of a picture, and a lantern.

"Jake." I turn around to see two dead bodies. I whimper to see it's a man and woman. Must have been the sicko's lunch. I heard Nessie scream and turn to Quil.

I tried listening in for Ness's cries, but soon they became muffled. I was extremely worried now that I couldn't hear her anymore and began to freak out. I could smell her somewhere in the house, but it was silent. But I have a gut feeling she's alive. I know she's alive, I can just feel it.

I howled, trying to see if Ness might respond.

"Silly dog, thought you could win." I snap around to see Lorenzo with a limp Nessie in his arms. I felt my heart stop for a second seeing her like that, but I could hear her heart still beating so I knew she was still alive.

"She isn't dead...yet. I thought you might enjoy to watch me kill her," He snickered at me wickedly.

I growled as my instincts took over. I just see red and him as my target. Next thing you know I let my anger take control and I charged at him. He cackled as he just flipped me away. I whimper slightly, hitting the ground. Meanwhile Quil goes to try and attack him, but only to get knocked into a wall; knocking him out. I heard him whimper and then it was silent. I snarled as I get up, ready to fight once again for my friend and Nessie.

"Dog, don't you get it! I always win!" Lorenzo snapped at me. I charge once again, all that is going through my head is trying to get Nessie away from him. Instead this time he smacks me so hard I felt my body go flying across the room. I felt my head slam into something hard, and my vision got slightly blurry.

I try to get up, only to fail. He just laughs as he grabs a spot on Nessie's arm and let's his teeth graze it. I cry out, begging, not to kill her. The next, was horrifying. He shoved his teeth into her arm and I hear her scream a piercing cry. That was it.

I got up, using every last bit of strength I had left, and charged right at him. I pushed him to the floor. His teeth unlatched her and she fell right to the floor. I ran up to make sure she was okay. Ness was unconscious and was bleeding like crazy. I felt the tears sting my eyes, but I let a growl rip through me as I turn to Lorenzo. I was going to kill him.

"You will never kill me dog, I am immortal." Lorenzo had an evil grin on his face as he got up and crotched towards me. He had my Nessie's blood on his mouth. Oh, immortal my ass.

I charge at him and pin him to the ground once again. I snarled and spat in his face as I try to bite his head off his body. But he was too strong and was able to push me back towards Ness's motionless body.

"You're done, dog. You and the little girl," Lorenzo growled, advancing towards me.

"Don't even think about it!" I heard a familiar voice shout. I look to see Bella and Edward in the doorway. They spot me on the ground right by Ness. When they smell her blood, both stiffen and I could see Edward had a murderous look in his eyes.

"You're dead!" He snarled as he pounced at Lorenzo, pinning him up to the wall. Lorenzo tried to fight back, but I think he just really pissed off Edward after he hurt Nessie like that. Bella ran to Renesmee and pulled her limp body in her arms. Ness's face is twisted in pain as she squirms a bit. Her breathing is getting labored and her heart was not it's normal speedy rate, but slower. I limp over closer to them and begin to whimper. Bella gives me a sad smile and goes to pet my head.

"Don't blame yourself Jake, just don't." I nod as Bella tries to stop the bleeding. She seemed quite calm, but had a nervous expression. I had a slight fear she might lose control to the blood, but this is her daughter. I know Bella has the strength to fight back her urge to drink it.

"I don't get it!" Bella cried out all of a sudden, looking at Lorenzo. He was pinned up against the wall still in Edward's grip. "Why!? Why us!? Why Ethan's family? Why my family? Why our children!? Why Matt? WHY!?" Bella cried out at him.

"Because they're threats," Lorenzo simply replied like it was the most obvious answer in the whole entire world.

"THREATS! My daughter is half human! She is no threat! She never did anything wrong to deserve this! We never did anything to you!" Bella screamed at him, a murderous look developing in her eyes.

"Yes, you killed Joham. Your family caused the Volturi to kill him. He was my brother, my friend! You killed him!" Lorenzo shot back. So the Volturi did go after Joham. I guess they thought of the bloodsucker as a threat. After all he was trying to create his own super race of hybrids.

"It's not our fault! It's the Volturi's! They didn't have to kill him! My family never provoked them to harm him in anyway!" Edward retorted bitterly.

"You were friends with Joham? That means you find his children a threat!" Bella snapped.

"It's none of your business, wench," Lorenzo spat. That got Edward angrier as he smashes his head against the wall.

"Don't you dare disrespect my wife like that," Edward snarled.

Lorenzo smirked before he turned back to Bella to answer her question, "Well if you must know, Joham was my friend, my brother, I wasn't going to betray him or his family like that...there were other reasons, but we had a deal. And a deal is a deal...Even though Joham had to brag about them being a superior race. We planed to eliminate any other hybrids out there, like your family, and then once you were gone I would have gone after the Volturi. Then I would have been king. Joham was going to be my second in command and his children would have been my guards. Your whole family is nothing but a threat! Even that Ethan's family was one! His whole race is the most powerful race in all of the world! The Lux Lamia should be extinct! They are too powerful! I am suppose to be the most powerful creature in the world!"

I frowned. What the heck was Lux Lamia? Is that what they're really called? Some of it, in my opinion, didn't make perfect sense to me. Why would he tell us all of this? Maybe he knew this was it for him.

I shake the thought out of my head as I make sure I'm ready to help Edward in case Lorenzo was planning to attack him after his little explanation.

"Yeah, well you're messing with the wrong family!" Edward said menacingly as he tightened his grip against Lorenzo's neck. Edward bites a chuck of his neck off and pushes him to the ground. Next thing you know Lorenzo's arm is severed from his body. He lets out a piercing cry which leads to the arrival of the Cullen boys. Emmett and Jasper grab a hold of him and let Edward rip his head off. Alice and Blondie come rushing this way to see Renesmee.

"Emmett! Jasper! Take care of burning him, its the only way to fully destroy him! Edward get over here! Your daughter needs you!" Alice barked out orders to everyone. Edward came here in under a second to see Renesmee bleeding and bruised in Bella's arms.

"There's venom in her system," Alice said, her voice strained. "Someone needs to suck it out. The venom is damaging her system." I whimper as I look at Ness. She was now shaking a bit and was even paler than normal.

"I'll do it," Bella whispered, volunteering automatically.

"Are you sure love?" Edward asked her. Bella nodded at her husband. I close my eyes and pray for a second that this was going to work.

Bella then went to suck the venom by carefully placing her teeth where Lorenzo made his bite mark. It took every being in Bella's body to take control. Once she pulled away from the bite mark I look to see Ness stirred a bit and her face seemed to relax. Renesmee's breathing evened out and everyone sighed in relief. Bella went to rip a piece of cloth from her shirt so Edward could wrap it around Renesmee's wound, so it wasn't pouring blood on it.

"Put pressure on it," Edward ordered softly to Bella. She nodded as she placed her hand on the wound to make sure it wasn't gushing blood.

"We need to bring her back to Carlisle. She's still in pretty ruff shape," Edward murmured as he observed his daughter. I noticed she had some bruises on her arms and legs. "One of her ribs is broken as well," He stated grimly.

"Lorenzo must have did it to her when she was in his grasp...Edward I'm sorry. I'm so sorry...I failed her," I told him, my head hanging low. If anyone is to blame for Ness's injuries it's me. His face softened up a bit and goes to give me a pat on the neck.

"It's not. Jacob you saved her life, and I'm very grateful for that. I'm glad she has you," He told me. I smirked slightly at his comment. Edward then goes to pick up Renesmee and cradle her gently in his arms.

"Rosalie, help Jacob and Quil," Edward ordered his sister. Blondie nodded grimly as she went to go help me out. Alice went over to wake Quil up. Meanwhile Bella and Edward rushed out of the scene to help Renesmee.

"You're leg should be fine dog...Thank you for everything," Rosalie said softly. I nod as I get up, feeling my leg is better. Guess Blondie really does have a soft spot for me.

As I walk away I look to see Quil is getting up as well. He was a bit disoriented, but it didn't take him long to recover. He immediately looked at me for answers.

"Damn Jake, what happened?" He asked.

"Lorenzo is dead, but he hurt Ness," I told him.

"Look, I'll go tell Sam while you go to Ness. I know she'll need you. I need to make sure Claire is safe as well," Quil said.

I nodded at him as we both run out. Alice and Rosalie follow behind me with Emmett and Jasper. Lorenzo's body was now dust and he was dead. Everything was over, now I just had to make sure I'd see Renesmee's brown eyes again.
