Author's note: Sorry for the big gap since my last update. I've been particularly focused on school and it means I've had to do more writing for one of my classes. Anyway, I imagine that many of you have questions in regards to Sam, Melanie, and the guys that make up the Victorious gang. All of your questions will be answered in this chapter. Also, if there appears to be any bashing, it's completely unintentional as I'm doing my best to do a realistic portrayal of certain characters.
Hyperion Hotel
Los Angeles, California
In the conference room, Sam and Melanie sat with Raziel as the mean girl kept her face in her hands after learning the revelation of what she and her sister really were. For Sam, it was particularly hard hitting as she had thought that maybe getting the dark side of their dad's power had been manipulative of her personality. She thought that perhaps maybe she could've been like more like Carly, if not for her father. But then as she thought about her twin, it became all too clear that her character was entirely her own.
"So our dad was an angel this whole time? How come mom never mentioned anything about it?" Melanie asked her uncle.
"It's hard to say. Even as powerful as angels can be, we're not completely omnipotent. So I wouldn't be able to tell you where he is now. Not without additional...tools," Raziel said. Melanie had another thought come to her mind.
"Are there any others like us? I know we can't be the only ones who exist," Melanie said to the higher being.
"As a matter of fact, there are. There is a young lady by the name of Jane. She's been taking in the world that was mostly unavailable to her. But now she enjoys traveling all over, helping to fight evil and enjoying the sights to take in. The other...well," Raziel trailed off.
"What is it?" Melanie asked.
"He went by the name of Whistler. He was in a worse position than any half-breed we've seen. He was born centuries ago when his father roamed the earth, and was left alone. His mother was one of the agents of a group of my brothers and sisters known as the Powers That Be, even though they were just a cabal of angels like myself. They had the child, but the mother died not long after. The Powers took the child and put him to work once he became of age and his powers manifested. But it wasn't beneficial for anyone," the archangel said.
"What do you mean? If he's got powers and could change the world, what's the big deal?" Sam asked.
"The big deal is what the Powers forced him to do as well as what would've happened if many of them attacked him all at once, as well as why he was forced to do the things he did. His mother's soul ascended to Heaven, but she was thrown into the prison where Sariel and Kushiel tormented her. And they used her as a bargaining chip for Whistler's services, never telling him of her fate. Seven years ago, he was freed from their enslavement. But he still lives with shame and regret," Raziel said.
"How did you guys do it?" Melanie asked.
"It was two years after the hellmouth in Sunnydale was destroyed. The group that you met was living peacefully while still routing the demons who committed acts of evil. But things became rather...crazy. One of my sisters from the Powers went rogue and tried to reaffirm this plan for world domination that was thwarted thanks to my brother Sachiel for interfering. Instead, she tried with a different approach but was sought out by a few other entities in enacting this plan. The incident was isolated but news about it did spread to a point that much of Los Angeles couldn't hide what happened to the residents. But the rest of the world is a different story," he said tot he twins.
"You said other entities. What did you meant by that?" Melanie asked. Raziel bowed his head as he realized this answer was going to sound rather odd.
"Whether you believe it or not, next to God, angels and demons are not the only beings in existence. Fairies also exist. Their world exists sort of a layer under another layer somewhere in earth. There are also beings that humans know as the Old Gods," Raziel began.
"First fairies then Old Gods? How exactly does that work?" Sam asked.
"Fairies can be considered an extension of the world as a result of creation. Same goes for the Old Gods. But the Old Gods are considerably more powerful than fairies, partially because of the power they had and because of human influence. The Old Gods were originally just spirits who were tasked with certain functions to maintain the earth. But after mankind drifted away from the teachings that Father tried impart, they began to believe in other entities after particular encounters. This led to them creating stories, creating beliefs and which led to these entities that they were gods. Truth be told, the angels were meant to act separately from the Old Gods before they were known as such. But humanity turned the tides," the archangel finished.
"So humanity had more influence than people believed? But why go through all the trouble of these conflicts?" Melanie asked.
"Because not long after the Old Gods rose, the pagan gods followed after. Their function in the world is significantly smaller compared compared to the Old Gods as the pagans were based entirely on psychic manifestations stemmed from human conscience. The beliefs in the pagans has dropped significantly that they no longer are powerful. But every now and then they've stirred trouble just to be back on whatever pedestal they were put on. The world is much larger and complicated than is believed. But that's why we are here. The world was given to mankind. But it is being fought over. With your help, we can achieve that," Raziel said.
In the basement of the former hotel, Freddie and the brunette girls sat and spoke with Colonel Shay, Jenny, Xander, Jesse, and Victor about the technology present before him. He was fascinated with working with technology to a new level. Jade and Tori, on the other hand, were worried about Andre as they were wondering how he could've been caught up in this situation.
"So what's the deal with this gem? It's like its radiating something powerful," the former tech producer asked.
"We learned that certain gems have supernatural properties to them that allow them to absorb the energies of creation. Xander was the only one of us to be able to utilize the Hope Diamond thanks to properties that not only stored energy but conferred it to him," Jenny explained.
"You mean that cursed diamond wasn't cursed? So why did all of those people die when they had it?" Jade asked.
"Because to many people, power is the only thing that matters in this world. But when all you crave is power, eventually, you're overrun by someone stronger than you. But I'm sensing that's not all you three are worried about," Jenny said as she looked to the two brunette young ladies.
"Yeah. We were thinking about Andre. It's just so surprising that he could be caught up in this like us," Tori said, as she thought about her best friend. Jade took Tori's hand in her's hoping to calm her former frenemy down.
"IS it possible that we can see him? He can't be left alone to deal with this. He needs us," Jade said. Freddie smiled as he could see more of Jade's heart with the concern for the musician.
"Of course. We all understand the importance of friendship. If not for that, we might not be where we are now," Jenny said as she looked to Xander, who smiled in return.
"We'd better find Cat. Any idea where she would be?" Tori asked.
"She might be in one of the rooms upstairs. To really get a handle on their powers, she'd need a room where the effects can spread," Xander replied. The others nodded and walked upstairs to find her. As they reach the second floor, they saw a bright flash of light coming from one of the rooms. As they opened the door, they had to cover their eyes as they saw Cat and Sandy levitating and glowing brightly. The glow faded and they floated back down to the surface.
"Hey guys, what's going on?" Sandy asked.
"They wanted to bring Cat with them to find another friend of theirs. He's a psion whose powers just awakened. They want to help him," Jenny explained.
"Sounds good. Maybe you can get Cordy and Kira to go with them, especially if Turiel is running around," Sandy explained.
"Good call. I'll go get them. You all wait in the lobby," Jenny said as she left immediately.
As the young man and women waited in the lobby, they were greeted by twin brunette women, who Freddie would readily admit were both knockouts, one with long hair and the other with shorter hair to her shoulders. Both were wearing modern grey blouses with black pants and combat boots. However, each of them could feel something different with the longer haired woman.
"Hey. So you must be the new kids. I'm Cordelia Chase. My friend here is Kira. We're going with you to make sure nothing...crazy pops up while you get your friend," Cordy explained.
"Oh my gosh! I forgot to call Robbie!" Cat suddenly shouted, catching Jade's interest in particular.
"What for? We didn't make plans," the goth girl said, trying not to sound uncaring.
"I did. But I never called him after the craziness with Turiel and now he probably thinks I blew him off!" Cat rattled off.
"Cat! Cat. It's okay. Text him and tell him to meet us at Andre's and we'll come up with something on the way there. You know Robbie is crazy about you. I'll talk to Trina and see if she wants to come to," Tori said, hoping to calm her friend down. Cat simply nodded before she began rapidly texting the Jewish teenager.
En Route to Harris Residence
Inside the black SUV, Cordy and Kira had glanced to each other every now and then as if silently communicating on how to converse with the teenagers. The pair had been an odd mismatch when they first met given their backgrounds. But when it came down to it, they found that they had more in common even given what they were.
"So how did you two meet?" Freddie asked, deciding to break the ice. The two brunettes could sense that the younger occupants were aware of their respective statuses.
"We go back about nine years. I'm sure Xander and the others told you about what happened nine years ago?" Kira asked. She saw them nod in the rear-view mirror.
"Well, I helped them out when things were getting crazy. I...I gave up a lot to help them," Kira replied.
"So how did you come into this?" Jade asked.
"I've been involved in this war a lot longer than you can imagine," Kira replied.
"You're not human are you?" Cat asked timidly. Cordy and Kira seemed to tense up slightly, while the rest did the same.
"Not exactly. I'm a fallen angel," Kira replied. Freddie's head snapped up as he took in the information.
"I should say I was. It seems that the status of a fallen angel is dependent on the why. I retained the majority of my powers. But I don't have the semi-omnipotence that I did before. And it's because I relinquished my status and had my wings clipped. But in doing so, something happened," Kira said.
"What's that?" Tori asked nervously.
"I found my soul," Kira said.
"Your soul?" Jade asked.
"Yes. As an angel, prior to my fall, I had power unimaginable except by our Father. But in the midst of all that power, we tend to feel to a point where we almost see it as meaning less to do so. But some of us could actually push past it. Lucifer did and he started the rebellion. Angels are meant to believe that having emotions leads to doubt in Father. But as it turns out, all of us can feel something. My big brother, Michael, thought that Father abandoned us because he didn't talk to us, at least directly. But then he was, is and will always be here. My big brothers, Michael and Lucifer, were either too stubborn to really listen or understand, or like the rest of us, we were too willfully ignorant to really look to him ourselves to try and communicate with him. Believe me, for some, it wouldn't seem so easy. Castiel nearly drove himself insane because he searched in the wrong place and in the wrong way. Anyway, interacting with the humans, and seeing the pain that came to them is what made me want to do good. I was a seer under Lucifer. But all of the visions showed me that wasn't where I should've been. So I left him," Kira explained.
"You left the biggest bad in the underworld to help us out? Wouldn't the Devil try to go after you?" Tori asked as she took in the story.
"It wouldn't matter. Another seer would've simply taken my place. And even then, she would simply see what I saw. The only difference would be whether or not they care enough about human pain to change. But to tell you the truth, not many fallen brothers and sisters would. And it makes this situation with Turiel and Ananiel particularly worrisome because we still don't know their motives for why they decided to show up now," Kira explained.
"Well...shit," Jade said as she looked out the window.
"Cordelia, how do you fit into all this?" Freddie asked.
"Funny story actually. Back in high school, let's just say I wouldn't feel inclined to do anything like this. I was this rich girl who like she was entitled to everything just because my parents had money. But I didn't always like it. Then I found out what Xander was up to with Buffy and everyone. I helped out whenever I could. And I really saw things for how they were, especially I was caught up in so much of the mess in my hometown. But unlike too many of my classmates, and students before us, I survived every encounter I was thrown into, and it was thanks to Buffy, Xander and our friends," Cordelia began.
"So you've been doing this since high school? How do you handle something like that?" Tori asked, before she looked at Cat who was suspiciously quiet.
"I normally didn't. But I came to understand that there were people who were meant to do this for one reason or another. Then there were people like me and Xander. We were the only people who were the most normal after a certain point. Xander started gaining powers before he became this supercharged dude. After a while, I asked Gabriel to teach me how to fight because I learned that he himself was just a normal human. He devoted himself to reach the superhuman level he did by training and faith. So I did the same. Even though I'm not where he was, I still pull my weight. And it's a good thing things worked out the way they did. The angel that instigated the incident nine years ago planned to use me as her vessel to take over the world. We learned that she was planning to rule us as some benevolent leader. But then she would've been eating a number of us on a regular basis," the former high school queen said.
"An angel? Was going to eat us? That's new," Jade said.
"It's a crazy world," Kira said.
"So do you think this will ever end?" Tori asked.
"Yes. Just not in the way most people will think," Kira said.
"Meaning?" Jade asked.
"We'll have to let that wait. We're here," Cordelia said as she pulled into driveway. She was thankful that Willow got an address when she saw who had awakened. After parking the SUV, everyone got out of the vehicle and approached the door. Tori rang the doorbell and waited for her friend to answer, although she was a bit jittery as she hadn't seen him for some time. The door opened, and the dread-headed musician smiled at seeing the girls, but was surprised to see Freddie with twin brunettes. Any other day his mind would go to the normal male fantasy that Freddie was such a ladies' man. However, he paid no heed to that thought.
"Hey Tori," he replied. As he opened the door wider, everyone could see Robbie Shapiro standing a few feet behind him.
"Robbie!" Cat yelped ass she ran in and quickly jumped on the Jewish teenager. Freddie wanted to laugh as he looked at Robbie holding Cat, particularly as Robbie seemed skinny that he could fall over from the sheer weight.
"Hey Rob," Jade said as she smirked at the skinny teen. She was actually glad that things between the two friends had gone a bit further, as she remembered the dance that doubled as their prom. Jade would readily admit that even though she put up a front, she actually did care about how Cat had taken things with Robbie at that time. She didn't enjoy that her normally sweet and bubbly friend had taken the Jewish boy for granted, especially when the faux-redhead had taken him on an emotional rollercoaster by running from him, being angry at other girls interested in him, and finally running away when his interest was directed back to her.
"So what brings you guys here? And who are the lovely ladies?" Andre asked.
"Well aren't you quite the sweet-talker. My name is Cordelia Chase. And this is my friend Kira. We came with your friends because we wanted to talk to you about something that happened. Rather recently," the older woman replied. Andre's face dropped as he figured something was up.
"Who says anything happened?" he replied.
"Andre, it's okay. You're not alone in this. We've all been going through something just like what you have today. They're here to help," Tori said.
"Come on in," Andre said as he stepped aside to let everyone in.
"My folks and my grandma are out of town. They're hoping that somewhere calm and peaceful can help her calm down too," he said, somewhat solemnly.
"Did something happen to her?" Jade asked.
"She's gotten...worse. Ever since the summer started, she'd just real quiet some times whenever I saw her. We thought maybe she just might've come to terms with everything. Then one day she suddenly burst out talking about stuff like dark shadows clashing with the light and stuff, I just didn't understand. And then not too long ago I did something...weird," the young musician said.
"Weird how?" Freddie finally spoke up.
"Let me show you," Andre responded. He closed his eyes before the objects around them began to levitate. As he opened his eyes, he remained calm as the objects floated back down.
"But wait, there's more. Follow me," he said as he walked tot he back door. The others followed and watched as he began to focus again. This time, he held an intense expression. His arms shot out and were followed by a translucent energy burst shooting out and hitting the ground, creating an explosion.
"Whoa!" Jade said.
"And you just found out about this?" Tori asked.
"Yeah. Doesn't exactly help that there's a gaping hole in the wall of my room. Anyway, you guys said you could help, but I don't see how," he said. The other teenagers raised their hands and concentrated to where their auras surrounded their hands. Andre stared in amazement until the glows left them.
"When this happen to you guys?' the black teenager asked his friends.
"Just over a week ago. I met up with Tori and Jade when I was checking out UCLA. We went out for dinner to catch up. When we were leaving, we were attacked...and things got weird," Freddie began.
"Did you guys start lifting stuff by thinking it?" the musician asked.
"Not just that. We even did the energy blasts. And Tori can use magic," Jade replied.
"Magic? Tori's a magician?" the dark-skinned teen asked looking at his best friend.
"Not exactly. Tori is capable of manipulating the energies to certain effects as she wills it. But it doesn't necessarily give her control over all reality. Calling on pagan and Old Gods to do so is how you get magicians and sorcerers. They manipulate reality to a point of throwing off certain functions of it. That's why magic can be rather dangerous when not used properly. We've had more than our fair share of dealing with crazy magic users," Cordelia said.
"So what do I do now? Can you guys really help me?" Andre asked the two older women.
"We'll help you learn how to control without hurting others or yourself. But it's completely your choice. But you have to understand that there's certain dangers if you decide to come with us. So choose carefully," Kira said.
Andre looked to his friends, and then back to the older women. He wasn't sure what to think aside from the fact that he had experienced something strange and his friends had been undergoing something similar. He looked to Cat and Robbie, then to Freddie who seemed to have Tori and Jade close by him. He looked to Cordelia and Kira with a small smile.
"Yeah. I'll go with you. Maybe I can help keep these guys out of trouble," the young black musician joked. The other smiled at his joke before Kira and Cordelia filled him in on staying with them for the sake of giving him a place where he wouldn't have to worry about Losing control and having others to help him out.
Cordelia and Kira led the group of eight outside of the house. However, the teens stopped as they noted that the two older women were frozen on the spot. As Freddie walked around them, he noted that they were glaring intensely at three newcomers in the front yard. He turned as he heard Cat left out a soft mew of fear. As he got a good look at the newcomers, he saw that two wore all black, one with a leather duster, the other with a short-sleeved leather jacket, and the third wearing a rolled up dress shirt with black slacks and shoes. While the first two had dark hair, one with his combed back and the other to his shoulders, the third had short blonde hair. He smirked as he looked to Kira.
"It's been a very long time dear sister," the blonde 'man' said.
"Not long enough Jamaerah," Kira replied. Freddie got a good look at the three again and realized that they had dark auras surrounding them.
"Come now sister. That's now way to treat your brothers. How long has it been? Five millenia?" the figure with the combed back hair said.
"Spare me the platitudes Turiel. Perhaps you can tell me why you attacked Catarina and why you, Ananiel, have such an interest in Beck Oliver?" Kira demanded.
"We only wish to help the boy solve his personal problems. As for the girl, her and our niece would get in our way, as your young friends would be doing as well. And to think, all of the potential you have under one roof. It'd make it easier to get rid of you all if not for the shields keeping us. But now you're here," Ananiel smiled wickedly.
"And Jamaerah is here just to round out the cast?" Cordelia asked as she glared at the blonde.
"Watch yourself girl. I can still do more damage even after that little fiasco that Jasmine made of our plans. So, why don't we just end the small talk," Jamaerah said before he summoned a sword and charged at Kira, who brought out her own hidden blade. The two fallen held their ground while the others scattered. Turiel was on Cat before the faux redhead could think to do anything else.
"Well, little Catarina, seems we finally have a moment to ourselves," the dark angel said to her. The young woman looked around and found the adults were handling one of the strange men, while her friends dealt with another. This left her alone with her attacker just like the other night.
"Did your new friend ever tell you about the power coursing through your body?" he asked with a sly smile as he grabbed her by the throat and held her off the ground.
"You see, our Father had graced certain bloodlines with a certain ability. Much like the women of the Belnades family were given the power to let their spirits remain on earth to fight alongside worthy warriors, the women in your family have had a dormant power of a purifying and terrifying light, coming close to what my brothers and sisters were capable of. That power can ward off the darkest of creatures and spells. It's quite useful when you learn how to use it properly. But not anymore," Turiel said as he nearly placed his hand on top of Cat's head. He was stopped as he felt a sudden weight on his back and he dropped the young woman. He reached behind his back and pulled to find that he was holding Robbie by the collar of his shirt. As he took a long at the lanky teen, he smirked.
"Hmph. So you're one of them? Father really didn't mess around with making sure those like you were born. If you had learned what you and your little friend were capable of, then we'd have a problem. But now, I have the pleasure of killing you both," Turiel said as his eyes began to shine an intense red.
Robbie covered his eyes and blocked his face with his hands. Before the dark angel could think to do anything else, he felt an odd and intense heat suddenly hit his face, sending him flying twenty feet away. Robbie dropped unceremoniously to the ground as he looked on at what happened. He held his hands up and found them surrounded in a silver fire. On any other given day, the boy would be jumping out of his skin, but he was keeping calm and saw that the fire had not burned him in anyway.
"Robbie?" he heard Cat call out. She appeared stunned as she saw what her quasi-boyfriend had just done. Robbie suddenly got a thought in his head as he looked to the others. As he closed his eyes and clasped his hands together and started muttering something.
As Andre was helping Cordelia and Kira fight off Jamaerah with his telekinetic abilities, Freddie and the young brunette women were busy fighting off Ananiel with energy blasts from Jade and Freddie, the latter of whom tried to throw in punches wherever he could. Tori tried her hand at focusing her abilities into something she could use in the background. She had managed to successfully throw fireballs at the angel but he merely deflected them. Robbie began muttering to himself as he focused on Tori, who was suddenly surrounded by a silver aura. The young upcoming singer launched another fireball, which proved much stronger than her previous attempts as the fiery orb singed and covered the attacker. Tori, Jade, and Freddie looked back and saw that Robbie had opened his eyes while the same silver aura had vanished from him. As they looked to Andre and the two older women, they saw that the man named Jamaerah had been knocked back and they quickly regrouped with the others.
"Let's get going while we have the chance. The damage you did will keep them preoccupied," Kira said as they led the teens to the SUV. Once loaded, the vehicle sped off back towards the base of operations. As the three fallen angels recovered, the looked to the direction that the SUV went towards.
"Looks like there's much more to this than we thought," Turiel said to his brothers.
"Indeed. These kids are not to be taken lightly, especially with their abilities. The only real consolation is that Lucifer would have to worry about them as well," Ananiel said in agreement.
"Can we not worry about that schmuck? He's in prison. We're not. You guys already know where they are, so why not blow them sky high with our power?" Jamaerah asked.
"Because those wards at their base are specifically designed to repel our kind in all manners. Even if we somehow managed to get inside, our powers would be nullified in an instant and we'd be at their mercy. We have to draw them out but we need help. This is the same group that took down Nocalla years ago and has Heaven on their side. What we need is someone on the other side," Turiel said as he began thinking.
Hyperion Hotel
Cordelia and Kira led the group of teens into the hotel, thankful that the fallen couldn't follow them inside. They were greeted by Xander and Faith who had heard from Willow that the fallen had been sighted confronting them.
"You guys alright?" Faith asked.
"Yeah. We were able to get out of there without too much trouble. Why don't you guys go rest? We have plenty of spaces for rooms for each of you," Cordelia said. Freddie nodded and looked to his girls. Cat looked like she wanted to argue, but Robbie laid a gentle hand on her shoulder, while giving her a look that told her that they needed to talk. Andre looked at the others, feeling a bit out of sorts as he was the odd man out in this situation. He decided to simply follow the others lead.
Inside the room that once belonged to Trevor, during his time as Alucard, Freddie and the girls entered the room and the young man collapsed on the bed with an arm over his eyes. Tori and Jade each laid next to him, one on each side and cuddled.
"We're here for you," Jade said. Freddie moved his arm from his face as he looked to pale brunette. He then turned over to the over brunette who smiled softly at him.
"We fought fallen angels. These guys...they could've killed us. But they were holding back," Freddie said.
"How can you tell?" Tori asked.
"Because I've been around Sam too long. They were intent on killing us. But they were too slow in doing it. They were testing us," the former tech producer replied.
"Well, they know not to mess with us. As long as we have each others' backs, we'll be fine," Jade said.
"Yeah. I actually wanted to talk to you both about that," Freddie said as he sat up, the girls following his action.
"You can tell us anything," Tori said. Freddie looked to her, then to the floor as he thought about how to start this off.
"Over the last week or so, things have sort of changed. In spite of all the craziness, I've enjoyed spending time with you both. And learning a bit more about you two. And while I can certainly appreciate having you two in my life, well...you need to know a few things. First, I haven't had a chance at a real and honest relationship with anyone. Even when Sam was my girlfriend, we weren't in it for the right reasons and it came crashing down. The second is that I've felt something for two girls before. And I chose one or the other. But now, I feel like it's impossible. But I won't compromise either of your feelings. I'll step out of the picture so you can both have someone better," Freddie explained. The two girls were shocked at the brutal honesty that he had laid out before them. It was probably the most sacrificial thing any guy would do in his position. Jade looked Tori in the eye and smirked as a previous conversation came to mind, and her former rival responded in kind.
"Funny you should say that. We actually had a talk about this VERY recently. We both realized that we like you. And we each decided that one would step back if you chose the other. But now, you can't choose. But then you wouldn't make us fight for you, which is the sweetest thing any guy can ever do for a girl. But there is one thing you left out," Tori said with a devious smirk, which Jade was mirroring. Freddie switched between looking between them in confusion.
"What's that?" he asked.
"You get us both," Jade said as nonchalantly as possible. Freddie blinked as he took in her words before his jaw went slack.
"The both of you?" he asked, still in confusion.
"Yes," both girls said. Freddie couldn't believe what he was hearing. If this were Seattle, he would've been lucky if one girl even had the nerve, and serenity of mind, to pursue him. Yet he was in Los Angeles, super-powered and caught in an ancient conflict, with two young women who were seeing him as he is, not for what he was in Seattle, let alone as a third of iCarly In spite of everything, Freddie Benson was beginning to feel happy. The young man wrapped an arm around the girls' waists.
"Will the both of you have me as your boyfriend?" Freddie asked with a smile. Jade and Tori both smiled and hugged him tightly.
"It' the start of something beautiful," Tori said, making a joke. Freddie and Jade looked to her with amusement at what was considered a rather cheesy attempt at joking.
"More like wild. But we can save that for another time," Jade said with a devious smirk, which turned into a full blown smile as she saw Freddie's face turn red.
"For now, let's get some rest. Maybe later we can go back for you stuff. Then, who knows what tomorrow brings," Tori said as she and Jade pulled Freddie back to lay on the bed they occupied. As the girls snuggled into his sides, he could only think on Tori's words.
"What indeed."
