"Inuyasha-sama, the sun will be rising soon," Myoga informed his lord.

Inuyasha nodded and stared at his son and wife, Makoto was gazing at the locket Kagome had given him when they "defeated" Naraku for the first time before they were going to go against Kaguya.

"I know, I can feel it," Inuyasha said to his vassal. Myoga crossed his arms and waited with eyes closed.

Kagome tickled her son on his stomach and his bubbly laughter rang in the hut. She laughed along with him as he tried to get away from her. Makoto continued to laugh and Inuyasha smiled at the two.

Inuyasha turned his attention to the sun's light that shined through the window. His son stopped laughing and began to smell the air. "What's wrong?" Kagome asked worriedly.

"The pup probably know that the moonless night has ended," Inuyasha answered. Kagome nodded in understanding.

Makoto felt it energy around him, his strength, senses, ears and nails were returning back to him. Kagome watched as Makoto's long black hair turned silver with a few strands of black on his forelocks and gray tips on his bangs. His golden eyes had specks of blue until it had returned to their normal shade of color.

She turned her head around and the same transformation was occurring to her husband.

Makoto reached for his head and smiled, yup they were there alright, he couldn't feel his ears for a few moments after transforming back into a inu-hanyou.

He twitched them and smiled contently, the young boy was glad that they were on his head again, he didn't like being a human for one night, it feared him that he wouldn't go back to his original form.

"Sweety, are you okay?" his mother asked him.

Makoto nodded vigorously and stood on his feet. He looked down at his hands, opening and closing them, then used his pointer finger to touch his small fangs that went over his bottom lip.

Inuyasha watched his son topple over himself, then getting back up again to rebuild the strength he had lost. He remembered his first transformation back into a inu-hanyou, it felt confusing and weird. It felt as if you were just a newborn trying to figure out your own strength after a long period of time.

"He's okay, he's adjusting to the change," Inuyasha said to his wife who looked at their son in a troubled way.

"I see, after all it is his first time, I don't blame him," Kagome muttered.

Makoto turned towards the door to hear voices going to their home. Inuyasha heard it minutes prior and grinned,"Miroku and Sango want to check up on us."

"I must get something to eat ready then," Kagome said, slowly get up and walking to the pot heating over the fire.

"I'll get it, I don't want you to move around so much," Inuyasha jumped to his feet and walked over to the pot and served bowls of stew.

Kagome smiled at her husband and settled back down to sit with her son.

Makoto poked his mother's stomach softly,"Did the pup change too?"

Kagome laughed and shook her head,"No sweety, the pup will once when he or she turns one years old."

Makoto nodded and laid down on his back,"Mama where is Shippo-chan?" The fox kit hasn't been around for a few days and Makoto missed him and his tricks. Especially the smashing top trick.

"He should be coming soon. Shippo-chan had to go to do some more fox demon exams," Kagome answered.

Makoto was informed by his father that a few years before he was born, his mother had to take exams that would stress her out. He wondered if the same thing happened to his older brother, but now knowing that he wasn't showing up that day, made him upset.

The young inu-hanyou frowned, now who was going to protect him from the twins, Shippo was always the main attraction when he would visit and the girls would try to pull on his tail. Unfortunately for him, he knew the twins would now try to fight for his ears and it was going to be painful.

"Good morning Inuyasha, Kagome-sama," Miroku walked in, carrying the six month year old Keiji in his arms. Tadashi was holding hands with Sakura and Haruka as they walked in, the last person was Sango in her second trimester.

Inuyasha smirked at the monk and said 'Good morning' to them, as well as handing them a bowl for breakfast. "Thank you Inu-oji-san!" the twins chirped, taking the bowls and then walked over to Makoto who was slowly trying to get away from them.

"Huh? Makoto-chan?" Sakura noticed him moving away. He froze like a board and gave her a smile with a small fang over his lip. She dismissed it and continued on eating.

"Makoto-chan, how was your first time like a human like?" Sango asked him.

The young boy blinked at the question before answering,"Keh! I hate it."

Miroku chuckled while Sango and Kagome laughed at choice of words. Inuyasha smirked. Yup, that was his boy.
