The sounds of the shoji door sliding opening, caused Kagome to look up and watch as a red clad figure walked into the hut.

"How was your day with Miroku and Makoto? Did our son behave?" Kagome folded a blanket and then soothed it on her lap. Her raven-black hair fell over her shoulders and she smiled at her husband.

Inuyasha gave her a smirk in return,"Yeah, he was a good little boy. At least he didn't run off everywhere."

Kagome smiled,"Well that's good news. Were there any demons in the village you went to? It's only an hour away from here, so I'd bet you guys encountered some in the forest and on your way there too."

"Only an Oni and snake demons, but they were weak so I let Miroku take care of them. Although there was a demon that was trying to destroy the village near by, but we've managed to destroy it before it could do any damage," Inuyasha said.

Their son was outside with Shippo who had came from taking a fox demon exam, the young inu-hanyou was thrilled to see his older brother pop out from his pink balloon form and fall next to him.

"That's good, ne?" Kagome said, she slowly stood up. Inuyasha rushed over to her and helped her. Kagome smiled in thanks, only two months were left for their child to be born. Inuyasha had claimed that their child would be a girl.

"How are you feeling?" Inuyasha asked her, he hated to leave her even if it was only just for a few hours. He wrapped an arm around her waist.

Kagome shrugged,"I feel fine, just how I felt like yesterday and the day before that and the day before that," wrapping her arms around his neck.

She placed her head in his chest as he buried his nose in her hair, smelling her calming scent.

Kagome looked up to him and placed a chaste kiss on his lips. His grip around her waist tightened, but he feared of bringing her closer because of the baby growing in her stomach.

The kiss only lasted for a few moments and Inuyasha broke it. "What are we eating for lunch?" he asked. Kagome slapped his arm playfully and laughed,"You and your food."

She walked over to the pot and served her husband his lunch.

Shippo was two feet in the air in his pink balloon transformation, carrying Makoto as he floated around entertaining him. Makoto laughed wildly, he was happy that his older brother was there, but then he slipped off and landed on the ground.

"Ah Fuck! That fucking hurt!" Makoto shouted in anger, falling onto the ground and hurting his nose when he fell off of Shippo's balloon form, fortunately he didn't brake a bone. His father had always commented that their body was made differently than most humans, and it would take more than just a fall to injure him.

Makoto rubbed his nose and he fumed at himself for being so careless. Shippo formed into his regular form and grimaced,"A-Are you okay?" The kitsune was certain that his adopted mother and father had heard the young inu-hanyou spouting curse words.

Kagome stopped stirring the stew around and had a expressionless look on her face. That voice was her son's and she gripped tightly on the wooden spoon in her hand. She couldn't believe that her son had just said swear words.

Inuyasha had a spoon full of his stew in his hand, but once hearing the curse words slip out from his son's mouth, his gaze shot to his wife. She hasn't moved an inch for a few seconds. He gulped hard, frightened at her frozen posture.

"Inuyasha…."

Ah, there it was. The way she had said his name, shouted flashes of danger and warnings in his mind. The said half demon placed his bowl down as fast as he could. Golden eyes darting to and fro from his miko and the shoji door. In a blink of an eye he ran out and didn't stop until he was safe from the danger that awaited him.

"Come back here!" Kagome shouted when he ran out.

He knew she was fired up at the moment. It was best to talk to her in the morning when she was a bit calm.

"You are so lucky I can't chase you!" Kagome bellowed, watching the red and white blur disappear in the distance. She huffed and walked out the shoji door. Shippo gasped and placed his hands over his ears, he grimaced at the look that his adopted mother had on her face.

"Makoto, those aren't words you should be saying," Kagome told him, putting her hands on her hips, looking down at her son. The young inu-hanyou stared at her.

"But papa says it all the time when the mangy wolf visits too," he said, fiddling with his fingers.

Kagome gaped, a vein pressured in her head at how he was so much like his father.

"It's not right to say that and it is a bad word. You shouldn't even say it," Kagome said.

"Papa says bad words?" Makoto questioned out loud. The young inu-hanyou watched his mother nod. "Papa is screwed then," Makoto crossed his arms and closed his eyes.

Kagome's eye twitched and she glared at the direction in which she had seen Inuyasha disappear.

"INUYASHA!" she shouted in anger.

Inuyasha sat in the highest branch of the god tree, he sighed in relief and in despair. Kagome was going to kill him, one way or another, he was in big trouble and what he feared the most was getting those back.

He looked up at the sky, hearing her scream his name in sheer fury.

"I'm so screwed."

Kaede and Rin were in the fields for the afternoon and for once there were no troubles or people to help around, and no problems what so ever. Rin hummed to herself, thinking of her lord and wondered what he was doing. She thought of Jaken tripping over himself by a rock, and she giggled to herself and continued on her train of thoughts.

Kaede had a long morning with helping many people and birthing children of the women that were new in the village as well. It was indeed a long morning.

"INUYASHA!"

Rin looked up and gazed everywhere, she knew it was Kagome's voice and by the tone, it wasn't pretty.

Just by that name, Kaede knew one thing and she sighed, "Might as well get the beads."
