"Why is it so fluffy?"

No answer came from the daiyoukai's lips and he shot a look at his half brother, who had a look of amusement on his face.

Inuyasha settled on watching Makoto terrorize his half brother with a barrage of questions. As much as he wanted to fight the guy, just for no reason at all, this seemed much better.

"Sesshoumaru-oji-san," Makoto tugged on his sleeve and pouted,"You aren't answering the question."

"Don't tempt me to do anything rash Inuyasha," the daiyoukai said coldly at his brother, glaring at him in the corner of his eye.

Makoto looked back at his father who smirked at him, the young boy got the message and made a face that you can hardly say no to. "Oji-san, can I play with it?"

"No…Inuyasha," Sesshoumaru clenched his fists and gave one of those -I'll-kill-you glares at the said hanyō.

"I hope you boys are fine!" they heard Kagome shout from the inside of the hut . Makoto looked up at his uncle. Sesshoumaru kept a stern look and waited to be introduced to the new pup of the litter.

"Your son better not grow up to be a hassle like you," he said to Inuyasha who got up on his feet. "What do you know, you weren't there!"

"Believe me, I've seen you various times and all you've done was cause trouble, your pup should be sitting down quietly."

"My son is just fine the way he is, I wouldn't want him growing up like his bastard of an uncle," Inuyasha said, a bit too loudly and his ears flattened when he heard Kagome shout his name.

Then not a moment to soon, the command came and the hanyō came crashing down to the ground.

"This was just a ploy to get me sat," a vein popped in Inuyasha's head and he glared daggers at Sesshoumaru who picked up his nephew by the back of his shirt.

"Not at all little brother, but nonetheless, it is quite amusing to see," Sesshoumaru tossed his nephew to his half brother who caught him.

"Watch him you idiot, he's still a pup," Inuyasha said, putting his son on his lap and Makoto laughed. "Papa angry," the boy said, smiling up at the two males who had a glaring contest.

Kagome poked her head out from the shoji door and noticed that they were very quiet and she laughed to herself,"Her she is."

Sesshoumaru turned to his sister in law and looked at the babbling girl in her arms. "This is your newest pup, a girl," he had said. The way he said it made Inuyasha cautious and get up to stand with his wife and child.

"Yeah, a girl and her name is Kisara," Inuyasha said, his brows knotting together and watching his brother, incase he would do any harm.

"Hn, very well, she doesn't seem as feeble as she appears to be," Sesshoumaru declared.

"I'm sure that the clan, especially your Okaa-san, wouldn't think she is weak," Kagome said, rocking her daughter and smiling at the young pup.

Sesshoumaru turned around and began to walk away. Kagome blinked several times,"I suppose he is going to speak with them like the last time."

Inuyasha nodded and watched his brother leave,"Thank Kami that's over, damn I didn't think I could have him here for another minute."

"Inuyasha, that isn't something to say in front of our children," Kagome said, suddenly realizing she didn't notice her son around. "Makoto?" they shifted their gaze when they noticed the daiyoukai returning.

Kagome tried her hardest not to laugh when she saw her son holding onto Sesshoumaru's mokomoko-sama, including the pure look of irritation on the Lord of the West face. It was the second time the young Inu-Hanyō had done so.

Inuyasha smirked smugly and chuckled once his son was settled down on the ground and laughed happily, running around his father. "It's so fluffy!" the boy cried and waved goodbye to his uncle.

Kisara turned her head to watch her uncle leave, raising a hand in the air -repeating her brother's action - she waved,"Bye Bye!"

The family of four turned and walked into the hut. "Inuyasha-sama!" a voice said. Makoto looked and noticed the Myoga the flea on his father's shoulder.

"Myoga-jiji, what are you doing here?" Inuyasha asked his vassal. The flea crossed his arms,"I came here sooner, but I noticed Sesshoumaru-sama was here as well. Why was he?"

Kagome chose to speak,"Isn't it that the Inu clan should know when a new pup is born, the lord has to visit?"

Myoga raised a brow and was deep in thought,"But Inu-Kimi never instructed her son to check up on your second child."

Kagome and Inuyasha exchanged looks and Inuyasha looked at the direction he saw his half brother leave. Keh, so the guy wanted to see his niece, well I'll be damned. He smirked and picked up his daughter who was sitting with Makoto.

"C'mere you," Inuyasha picked her up quickly and she let out a high-pitched shrill of joyous laughter. "My little girl," he muttered when her laughter died down and she touched her father's cheek, smiling at him.

Author's note

Squeee! I want my own Makoto and Kisara! I'm sad that I'm ending Dead Inside But Still Alive, I was half way finishing the epilogue. T-T I'm going to miss that story! Until next time!
