[A/N: This chapter took a little longer than expected and actually I could have gotten it done last night expect our internet went down. It's been a long time since I've seen the Jungle Book and I forgot how much I love Shere Khan's character. There isn't much to say about this chapter besides that it's a bit longer than the usual ones. Enjoy the chapter!]

The landing in the new world was smooth and like Beast's Castle it was dark, but unlike Beast's castle there were no buildings in sight. It was all thick lush jungle. Juliet pulled her map out and unfolded it. "Looks like we're in The Jungle."

Akio looked around the jungle not looking too impressed with the primitive surroundings. "I could have told you we were in a jungle. You don't need a map to tell us that."

Clementine cupped a hand to her ear and looked up at a tree they were standing under. "Do you hear singing? Kinda sounds like the Cheshire Cat from Wonderland." She walked around to the other side of the tree and saw a long snake tail hanging off the tree. "I wonder…." She grabbed onto the tail and yanked.

The snake that came out of the tree fell down hard and nearly ended up on top of Clementine. He turned his angry glare to Clementine. "Who do you think you are pulling me out of my tree?"

"I didn't mean to upset you I just wanted to see what was up there."

The snake's angry expression suddenly changed to one of pleasant surprise; his eyes starting to change colors as he began to slither closer. "Well, why don't we get to know each other better."

Juliet noticed that Clementine was now staring intently at the snake with wide glassy eyes. "Clementine? Clementine, are you ok?" She waved a hand in front of her face, but received no response. She heard a growl up in the tree and looked up to see a black panther stretching languidly on a branch.

This seemed to frighten the snake who quickly slithered away. "Just you wait till I get you in my coils." As the snake slithered away the end of his tail got caught in a sapling. He yanked hard sending the rest of his body slamming into his head.

There was a laugh up in the tree. Juliet peeked up to see a dark skinned dark haired boy sitting on a branch beside the panther laughing about what she could only assume was the snake's predicament.

"So you can look out for yourself can you?" The panther didn't look all that amused from the boy's laughter. "So you want to stay in the jungle do you?"

"Yes, I wanna stay in the jungle."

The panther sounded like he was starting to exasperated. "Now, for the last time go to sleep."

Juliet slunk back into the shadows when she thought she saw the boy looking down at her. "I think we should trail them while we're here."

Akio didn't look convinced. "Why should we follow them? Do you even know where they're going?"

"What does it matter where they're going? We should just follow them and see if we can find out anything about this world." She yawned and stretched. "But let's do that tomorrow. I haven't had a good night's sleep since we were in Camelot."

The next morning they awoke the ground shaking. Juliet yawned and rolled over with her hands over her ears. "Oh, go away I'm trying to sleep."

Clementine as always was bright eyed and bushy tailed and was already on her feet. "There's a parade going past. Juliet, Akio look there's a parade with….I'm not sure what those are." She looked over at them and noticed that both of them were still sleeping…..quiet close together actually. "They look so content. I should just leave them there and go investigate." As soon as these words left her mouth she looked up to see a vine with the boy on it come sailing down. "He's probably curious too." She quietly went after him.

"Company sound off!"

The boy had caught up with a baby elephant at the end of the line. "Hello, what are you doing?"

"Ssh, drilling."

"Can I do it too?"

"Sure, just do what I do, but don't talk in ranks it's against regulations."

Clementine watched the boy get down on all fours and start marching after the baby elephant when she heard the leader speak again.

"To the rear march!"

The baby elephant turned around and came face to face with the boy. "The other way turn around."

The boy turned around and started marching again not hearing the leader tell them to turn around again. He looked back and saw them going the other direction and hastily ran over knocking into the baby elephant.

"Company halt!"

The baby looked down at the boy who'd fallen down. "That means stop."

Clementine watched the leader start to inspect his troops pointing out their flaws such as: food hanging off tusks, long hair, and goofy grins. "What a stickler for perfection."

The leader soon came to the baby who it turned out was his son. "And as for you….oh there you are. Let's keep those heels together shall we son?"

"Ok Pop, Sir." He brought his heels together.

He soon came to the boy. "Well, what have we here? A new recruit? I say what happened to your trunk?" He jabbed his bamboo shoot in the boy's face.

"Hey! Stop that." The boy swatted the bamboo shoot away.

The leader was sputtering in rage before he picked the boy up in his trunk. "A man cub?! This is treason! Sabotage, I'll have no man cub in my jungle."

"It's not your jungle!"

Coming out of the tree tops was the panther who'd finally woken up. "Hold it. I can explain Hathi."

"Colonel Hathi, if you please sir."

The panther sighed and rubbed his temples with his paws. "Oh, yes, yes Colonel Hathi. The man cub is with me. I'm taking him back to the man village."

"To stay?"

"You have the word of Bagheera."

"Good, and remember: an elephant never forgets."

Clementine snickered and heard stirring from where she'd left Juliet and Akio. "Better go see if they're waking up."

As the elephants started to walk off Hathi's wife spoke up. "Dear, haven't you forgotten something?"

"Nonsense Winifred old girl. An elephant never forgets."

"Well, you just forgot our son."

Hathi was sputtering again before he turned around. "To the rear march."

The rest of the elephants went to turn around when they nearly fell on top of each other.

The baby elephant was busy talking to the boy. "When I grow up I want to be a Colonel just like my-" He was cut off when Hathi came up behind him.

Hathi picked him up in his trunk so that they'd be eye level. "If I've told you once I've told you a thousand times….."

"Pop look out."

The rest of the elephants crashed into Hathi from behind knocking him down.

"Gee Pop you forgot to say halt."

Clementine had gotten back to the tree and found that Juliet was still asleep and had Akio's arm in tight grip. "Are you stuck?"

"Yes, would you mind getting her to let go of me."

She crouched down and poked Juliet in the cheek. "How were you sleeping through all that noise? Come on Juliet its time to get up. Bagheera and the boy are going to get away from us."

Juliet's eyes cracked open and she yawned again. "What time is it?"

Akio shook his arm loose from her grip. "Time to get up. Clementine says we'll lose…..what did you call him? Bagheera? Anyway we'll lose the panther and the boy if we don't go after them."

That got Juliet up. "Well, why didn't you say so?"

By the time Juliet, Akio, and Clementine caught up with where they thought Bagheera and the boy would be they found the boy by himself. Akio looked back at Juliet. "So, what do we do now? Keep following him?"

"I think that would be the best. Wouldn't want to jump out now and scare him."

They waited in silence for several minutes before Clementine started to walk towards him. "I don't see the harm in going over and talking to him." She felt Juliet grab her sleeve.

"Be quiet I hear someone coming."

Sure enough coming out of the jungle was a grey sloth bear. The bear stopped walking and crouched down so that he could look at the boy. "Well now what do we have here?" The bear sniffed at the boy's hair. "What a funny bit of….." He was cut off when his nose was slapped.

"Go away."

"I thought I'd seen everything in these woods. Well what a pretty thing this is." The bear was rubbing his nose.

"Leave me alone."

"Well that's pretty big talk little britches." The bear clapped the boy on the back.

"I'm big enough." The boy got up and began punching the bear in the stomach.

The bear just sat there and allowed his stomach to be punched. After a few more swings he tutted under his breath. "Pitiful…." He picked the boy up. "Hey kid you need help and old Baloo is going to learn you to fight like a bear. Now come on I'm going to show you." Baloo started jumping around with his fists up while the boy mimicked him. "Now come on kid loosen up start to weave a little. There's that it…..now give me a big bear growl."

The boy opened his mouth, but only a quiet none threatening growl came out.

Baloo clucked his tongue. "Oh boy….I'm talking about like a big bear." Baloo opened his mouth and let out a loud growl right in the boy's face.

Bagheera came running out of the jungle after hearing the first growl before slumping down on a tree branch. "Oh no its Baloo. That shifty stupid jungle bum."

Juliet had to grab onto Clementine's sleeve again when it looked like she was going to venture out. "What are you doing? Do you want us to get caught?"

"This whole thing seems awfully shifty to me. Why can't we just pop out and say hi?"

"Because Baloo and Bagheera might not like us getting too close to that boy. Speaking of which I wonder what his name is?"

"Fine teacher you are old iron paws." Bagheera looked quite comfortable up in on tree perch.

"Oh thanks Bagheera."

"Tell me after you've knocked your pupil senseless how do you expect him to remember the lesson?" Bagheera looked over at the boy who had been knocked into a tree trunk.

"Well I….I didn't mean to lay it on him…."

The boy got to his feet albeit with a bit of difficulty. "I'm not hurt I'm all right. I'm a lot tougher then some people think." He was glaring up at the branch Bagheera was on.

"You better believe it. Now let's go once more." Baloo lowered himself a bit and put his fists up. "Keep circling or I'm going to knock your roof in again." He must not have been paying as much attention because the boy jumped up and punched him in the jaw. "Oh….right in the button." Baloo began wobbling around before crashing to the ground.

The boy got on top of Baloo and started scratching his back as the bear struggled beneath him. "You can't tickle that's not fair. Help Bagheera."

"Oh that's all he needs more confidence."

Once Baloo had gotten over his laughing fit he sat up with the boy perched on his stomach. "You know something kid you're all right. What do you they call you?"

"Mowgli." Bagheera said this from still up on his tree branch. "And he's going back to the man village right now."

"Man village? They'll ruin him. They'll make a man out of him."

"But Baloo I want to stay here with you."

"Certainly you do."

Bagheera who had started to walk away turned back again. "And just how do you think he'll survive?"

"How do you think he'll survive?" Baloo said this in a mocking tone. "He's with me ain't he? I'll learn him all I know."

"Well that shouldn't take too long."

Baloo turned his gaze back to Mowgli. "Look, it's like this little britches."

Before Juliet was able to say anything Clementine left their hiding spot to follow Mowgli and Baloo towards a tree. "That looks like fun." She was about to make her presence known when Akio pulled her back into the underbrush. "I still don't see why we can't say anything."

Akio looked like he was starting to get a little annoyed with Clementine. "Because Juliet told us to keep out of sight." He heard a splash and when he looked up to see where the noise had come from Clementine jerked herself free from his grip.

Mowgli was now floating down a river on Baloo's belly.

Clementine was leading the way as they walked along the river's bank. "Its times like this that I get really home sick." She was looking longingly at the water.

Juliet was about to say something when she felt a hand grab her by the back of the shirt and pull her up into the trees. Once she was up away from Akio and Clementine she saw a monkey staring back at her. "Isn't this interesting? Would you mind putting me back where you got me?"

"Put you back where we got you? No way we're taking you to King Louis" The monkey didn't wait for an answer and instead began to pull her away much to Juliet's protests.

"Akio, Clementine, get me down from here!"

Akio heard Juliet's yells and tugged on Clementine's sleeve to point up at the tree. "I think we're needed elsewhere." He only saw her continue to stare at the water before getting up on his tip toes and waving a hand in front of her face. "Clementine, are you with me? We need to go get Juliet. Someone's kidnapped her."

"Huh? What? Oh Juliet got kidnapped?" The blank look on her face suddenly changed to one of shock. "Wait Juliet got kidnapped?"

"Yes, that's what I've been trying to tell you."

"Well let's go get her."

There was someone else lurking in the tree tops besides the monkeys. Two someone's actually. Puck swung his legs over the side of the branch he was sitting on as he watched the monkeys grab Mowgli from atop Baloo. "I think I'll try to get King Louis on our side." He missed the harsh glare from Antonia.

"Don't be stupid Puck. That ape will never go along with Master's plans. He's a showboat who will want to do his own thing."

"He might if we teach him how to be human."

Antonia sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "I still doubt that he'll help us. Besides you're not exactly the best at convincing others to come to our side. Remember what happened with the Cheshire Cat?"

Puck looked down in embarrassment. "I'm not that bad."

"Yes you are."

Not to be deterred Puck came up with another idea. "Then how about we try and get Shere Khan on our side?"

Antonia's face went pale. "You can't be serious. You want Shere Khan the man hating tiger to help us? No absolutely not."

"Why not? We're not human he'd have no reason to hate us."

"We may not be human, but we look like it and that would be reason enough for him. That's why I say absolutely not."

Juliet found herself being tossed in front of a throne in some kind of ruins. She saw an orangutan eating a banana from his spot on a throne. She was about to say something to him when she saw Mowgli and quickly ducked behind the throne.

King Louis got up from his throne and put his hand on Mowgli's head while he was held upside down by the other monkeys. "So you're the man cub. Crazy." His eyes were rolling in their sockets as he said this.

"I'm not as crazy as you are. Put me down!" As soon as he said this the monkeys imminently let go. Mowgli looked back up at the monkeys and was shaking his fist at them. "You cut that out!"

King Louis picked Mowgli up and held him in the air. "Cool it boy. Unwind yourself. Now come on let's shake cousin." He was trying to catch Mowgli's flaying fists in his paw.

"What do you want me for?"

"Word has grabbed my royal ear. Have a banana." He picked up a banana and propelled it into Mowgli's mouth. "That you want to stay in the jungle." King Louis put the banana peel on Mowgli's head.

"Stay in the jungle? I sure do." This came out rather thickly since Mowgli's mouth was full of banana.

"Good . Then old King Louis. That's me can fix it for you. Have two bananas." Using his feet King Louis shot two bananas into Mowgli's mouth. "Do we have a deal?"

"Yes sir. I'll do anything to stay in the jungle."

"Well then I'll lay it on the line for you."

By this time Akio and Clementine had followed Bagheera and Baloo to the entrance of the old ruins. Clementine peered around the entrance of the ruins to see Juliet behind the throne. "Do you think it would be a good idea to just go in there and get her?"

"Probably not. Wouldn't want to get spotted." Akio glanced over to see Bagheera and Baloo trying to sneak in. "We'll follow after they go in."

They followed the panther and the bear further into the ruins, but before they were able to concoct a better plan Baloo burst in wearing a rather flimsy disguise.

Baloo continued to dance with King Louis until the ape slapped him on the back knocking the disguise off.

"Its Baloo the bear," one of the monkeys called.

Mowgli ran over to Baloo before one of the monkeys grabbed him again and started running the other direction.

Thinking now would be a good time to try and get away Juliet ran out from behind the throne and ran over to Akio and Clementine before she felt a monkey grab her around the waist.

Clementine shot a small fireball at the monkey catching its tail.

The monkey let out a shriek and promptly dropped Juliet who hastily ran away from him. "Let's get out of here before they come back."

They were able to run out just as the ruins began to fall apart leaving King Louis to hold up a single piece of rock. They followed Mowgli, Bagheera, and Baloo until the ruins were far behind them.

Baloo looked relieved and looked over at Bagheera. "Man that's what I call a swinging party."

Later that night Clementine was sitting up against a tree thinking to herself. I should just tell Juliet what Erik told me. It'd be better if I told her sooner rather than later. She glanced over at Juliet was curled up in a ball in a dead sleep. No, no I'll let her sleep and tell her in the morning.

Akio was laying on his back beside Juliet and looked over at Clementine. "You look like you're thinking about something. What's up?"

She made sure that Juliet was still asleep before turning to Akio. "I need to tell her what Erik told me. I just have to."

"So tell her already."

Clementine swallowed hard. "I'll tell her in the morning."

"It is morning."

Clementine was looking around when she saw Baloo coming back towards the tree they were behind and quickly ducked her head.

By this time the talking had roused Juliet from her sleep.

"Mowgli. Mowgli, its time to get up." Baloo was gently shaking Mowgli's shoulder.

Mowgli stretched and yawned before turning to Baloo. "Oh, hi Baloo."

"Rub that sleep out of your eyes. You and me we've got a long walk ahead of us."

Mowgli hopped up from the bushes he'd been sleeping on and grabbed Baloo's arm. "Swell, we'll have lots of fun together."

"Sure, yeah….sure." Baloo didn't sound too sure of himself. "All right let's hit the trail kid." As they walked past Bagheera, Baloo was sure to make eye contact without Mowgli seeing. "See you around Bagheera."

"Well goodbye Bagheera. Me and Baloo we've got things to do."

"Good bye man cub and good luck."

Juliet, Akio, and Clementine made sure that Bagheera wasn't following before they slunk after Mowgli and Baloo.

"Come on Baloo all we have to do is look for the bare necessities."

Baloo half heartily looked at a banana that Mowgli tossed him

"Where are we going Baloo?"

"Oh it's a…it's a….it's sorta new and um…."

"Oh I don't care as long as I'm with you." Mowgli draped Baloo's arm over his shoulder.

"Look Mowgli, buddy there's something I got to tell you."

Mowgli had let go of Baloo and was now chasing a butterfly. "Tell me what Baloo?"

Baloo was quiet in thought for a moment before he whispered to himself. "Let's see now how did old Baggy put it? Mowgli, you wouldn't marry a panther would you?"

"I don't even know what you're talking about." Mowgli jumped off a branch while still trying to catch the butterfly.

"Mowgli don't you realize that you're a human?" Baloo's tone had turned pleading.

"I'm not anymore Baloo. I'm a bear like you." Mowgli ran up to Baloo and started trying to punch him in the stomach.

"Look buddy listen to me…"

"Come on come on Baloo." Mowgli continued to try and punch him.

"Now Mowgli stop it now hold still. I wanna tell you something now listen to me." Baloo had grabbed onto Mowgli's fists.

"What's the matter old papa bear?"

"Mowgli I've tried telling you. I've tried telling you all morning. I've got to take you back to the man village."

"The man village?" Mowgli imminently started backing away.

"Now look kid I can explain."

"But you said we were partners."

"Now kid…."

"You're just like old Bagheera."

"Now just a minute. That's going too far."

Mowgli turned and started running further into the jungle away from Baloo as the bear called out to him.

Akio looked over at Juliet who was still rubbing sleep from her eyes. "What do we do now? Keep following Baloo or go after Mowgli?"

"I think we should stick with Mowgli. I'm sure Baloo will come after him."

Not far off Shere Khan was stalking his next victim. He was ready to pounce on the unsuspecting deer when the trumpeting noise of an elephant frightened it away. "What beastly luck. Confound that ridiculous Colonel Hathi."

Bagheera heard the jungle patrol and hastily began running through the trees towards them. "Stop. Wait a minute….halt!"

Colonel Hathi stopped dead in his tracks and turned around looking for the source of the noise. "Who said halt? I give the commands around here. Now speak up who was it?"

"It was me Colonel." Bagheera jumped down to a lower branch.

"What do you mean sir? Taking over my command."

"Oh I'm sorry, but I need your help."

Not far from the elephants Shere Khan was listening with rapt attention to the conversation between Bagheera and Hathi. When he heard about Mowgli running away a cruel smile came to his lips. "How delightful."

"Serves the young whippersnapper right."

"But Shere Khan the tiger he's sure to pick up the man cub's trail."

Hathi chuckled at this. "Shere Khan, but what nonsense old boy. Shere Khan isn't within miles of here. Sorry Bagheera fortunes of war and that sort of thing."

Winifred came marching up to Hathi their son following her. "This has gone far enough. Now just a minute you pompous old windbag."

"Winifred, what are you doing out of ranks?"

"Never mind. How you like to have our boy lost and alone in the jungle?"

"Our son…..Winifred that's an entirely different matter." Hathi didn't hear Winifred huffing under her breath.

"That little boy is no different than our son. Now you help find him or I'm taking over command."

"What a female leading my herd utterly preposterous!"

The baby elephant trotted up to his Father. "Pop, the man cub is my friend. He'll get hurt if we don't find him. Please pop, sir please."

"Now don't you worry son. Your Father had a plan in mind all the time."

"Sure you did," Winifred scoffed.

Bagheera watched Hathi get his troops in line before darting back off into the jungle in search of Mowgli.

"Bugler, when the man cub is sighted you will sound your horn three times."

Shere Khan watched the elephants depart and was smiling after them. "Element of surprise I say. Now for my rendezvous with the little lost man cub."

Juliet, Akio, and Clementine were still following Mowgli through the jungle when he stopped at the base of a tree. He sat there for a few minutes with his face in his hands before a familiar cobra tail came down and scooped him up. "Kaa, its you."

"Yes man cub so nice to see you again."

Mowgli pushed Kaa away. "Go away leave me alone."

"Let me look at you." Kaa was staring Mowgli right in the eye with a hypnotic stare. "You don't want me to look at you? Then you look at me." Kaa had his tail on Mowgli's head and turned it so that their eyes would lock.

"No sir I know what you're trying to do." Mowgli tried to walk away when he felt Kaa's coils wrap around his wrist.

"You do? I mean you don't trust me?"

"No."

"Then there's nothing I can do to help."

Mowgli was now trying to get Kaa's tail off his ankle. "You wanna help me?"

"Certainly, I can see to it that you never have to leave this jungle." Kaa was now starting to wrap around Mowgli.

"How can you do that?"

"Hm? Oh, I have my own sublet little ways." Kaa was laughing so that his entire body shook. "But first you must trust me."

Mowgli pushed Kaa away. "I don't trust anyone anymore."

Kaa went forward and wrapped himself around Mowgli's head. "I don't blame you. I'm not like those so called fair weather friends of yours. You can believe in me." He leaned down staring at Mowgli hypnotically.

Clementine saw Kaa's tail dangling in her face was reached out to pull it when she heard padding behind her. "Looks like we have company." All though she'd noticed that Shere Khan was coming through the dense grass Juliet and Akio hadn't so she grabbed them by the arm and pulled them behind the tree.

Shere Khan walked over to Kaa's tail and pulled like he was ringing a doorbell.

"Oh now what? I'll be right down." Slowly Kaa descended out of the tree still keeping Mowgli in his coils. "Yes, yes who is it?"

"It's me Shere Khan. I'd like a word with you if you don't mind."

"Shere Khan, what a surprise." Kaa slithered a bit closer.

"Yes, yes I just dropped by. Forgive me if I've interrupted anything."

"Oh no nothing at all."

"I thought you were entertaining someone up there in your coils." Shere Khan flexed his claws as he said this.

"Coils? Someone? Oh no I was just curling up for my siesta."

Shere Khan began scratching his cheek with his claws. "But you were singing to someone. Who is it Kaa?" He gripped the cobra's neck.

"Oh no I was just singing to myself." Kaa continued to babble through the tightness in his throat.

"Indeed."

"Yes, you see I have trouble with my sinuses." Kaa swallowed hard.

"What a pity."

"You have no idea. It's horrible. I can't eat I can't sleep so I sing myself to sleep. You know self hypnosis. Let me show you how it works." Kaa began staring at Shere Khan the way he would with Mowgli.

Instead of staring at Kaa, Shere Khan slammed a heavy paw down on his head. "No, I have no time I can't be bothered with that kind of nonsense."

"Some other time perhaps."

"Perhaps." Shere Khan began rubbing his claws against Kaa's nostril. "Now I'm searching for a man cub." He got up and started to prowl away.

"Man cub? What man cub?"

"The one whose lost. Now where do you suppose he could be?"

"Search me." Kaa brought his coils up to his mouth in that moment when he realized what he'd just said.

"Excellent idea. You wouldn't mind showing me your coils would you Kaa?"

"Certainly not. Nothing here." Kaa lowered his tail. "And nothing here." He pointed at his mouth.

There was a snore from Mowgli up in the tree which caught the tiger's attention.

Kaa noticed this and quickly made a noise of his own. "My sinuses." He had what he hoped was a winign smile on his lips.

"Indeed, now how about the middle?"

"The middle?" At first it looked like Kaa had run out of tricks, but he quickly recovered and uncoiled Mowgli a bit to show Shere Khan more of his coils.

Shere Khan began grabbing at Kaa only to hear a surprised chuckle.

"Absolutely nothing in the middle."

Shere Khan still looked like he was suspecting something, but shook it off. "If you do see the man cub you will inform me first." He had a claw under Kaa's chin.

"I get the point. Cross my heart hope to die." He coiled himself into a bow shape.

"Good show. Now I must continue my search for the helpless little lad." He stalked off.

Kaa was scowling after Shere Khan. "Who does he think he is? Helpless little lad. Oh, he gives me the shivers." To put emphasis on this Kaa shivered and freed Mowgli from his grasp. "That poor little helpless boy. Oh yes..." His eyes started changing again.

Mowgli was now free and wriggled out of Kaa's coils before kicking them off the branch. He swung down from the branch to the heap that was Kaa. "You told me a lie Kaa. You said I could trust you."

Kaa started slithering closer to Mowgli. "It's like you said. You can't trust anyone." Like before his tail got caught in a tree sapling. His body came crashing into his head as he pulled on his tail. "If I ever see that scrawny little shrimp again it will be too soon."

Juliet slunk out from behind the tree and led the way as they started after Mowgli again. "What did you think that of that tiger? Shere Khan? He sounds just awful doesn't he?"

Akio nodded in agreement. "Hopefully we won't run into him again anytime soon. Or ever really."

They followed Mowgli into a darker more empty part of the jungle not noticing the four vultures there perched on a particularly large tree.

Clementine walked a little faster so that she was beside Juliet. "Can we say hi to him now?"

"I think in a little bit it will be all right to say hi, but not yet."

Juliet was keeping a close eye on Clementine while they stayed behind another tree while the vultures sang to Mowgli.

No one seemed to notice that Shere Khan was coming out of the jungle. "That's what friends are for." He sang this in a deep baritone voice. "Bravo, bravo an extraordinary performance." Shere Khan was clapping his paws together while said this. "And thank you for detaining my victim."

"Don't mention it your highness." The blonde vulture was stuttering from behind Mowgli.

Shere Khan chuckled a bit. "Boo."

The vultures scattered before flying back up to their tree. "Run friend run."

"Run? Why should I run?"

"Why should you run? Could it be possible that you don't know who I am?"

"I know you all right. You're Shere Khan."

"Precisely. And you should know that everyone runs from Shere Khan." He put a claw under Mowgli's chin.

"You don't scare me. I'm not afraid of anyone." Mowgli pushed the paw away.

"You have spirit for one so small and such spirit deserves a sporting chance. Now I'm going to close my eyes and count to ten it makes the chase more interesting for me. One, two, three…." One of his eyes cracked open. "Four…."

Mowgli saw a stick laying not too far away and ran over to it.

"You're trying my patients. Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten!" Shere Khan didn't give Mowgli a moment's notice and sprung at him claws splayed.

"Ok its time to go say hi." Juliet summoned her Keyblade and threw it at Shere Khan's head.

Baloo had also made his appearance and grabbed onto the tiger's tail. "Run Mowgli run."

Thinking they could cause a distraction Akio and Clementine began attacking Shere Khan all though it didn't seem like the disk or blizzard spells were doing very much damage.

"Let go you big oaf." Shere Khan swung his claws at Baloo who began running backwards.

Mowgli began beating Shere Khan in the face with his stick while Juliet went around him to help Baloo.

Shere Khan began running after Mowgli and Juliet still with Baloo on his tail.

"Somebody get that kid." Baloo was now struggling to hold onto the tail.

The vultures flew off their and grabbed Mowgli by the arms.

The bald vulture flew down next to Baloo's head. "He's safe now. You can let go."

"Are you kidding? There's teeth on the other end." Baloo got caught on a tree branch, but still didn't let go.

Shere Khan wasn't able to go any further and fell back into Baloo who rolled into a rock. Enraged Shere Khan began clawing at Baloo.

"Let go Baloo needs help."

Thunder struck a tree at that point lighting some of the branches on fire.

"Fire, it's the only thing old stripes is afraid of."

"You get the fire we'll do the rest."

Juliet looked over at Clementine. "You know fire spells why not show this tiger who he's messing with."

While the vultures distracted the tiger Mowgli went up behind him holding a lit branch and tied it to his tail; Clementine sending fire balls at him.

Shere Khan screeched and began running while the tail bounced against him. The fire was still alight as he ran off into the distance.

Juliet looked over to see Mowgli crouched over Baloo and beckoned for Akio and Clementine to come with her. "I think we better go and let them be."
