Makoto fell to the side, clutching is head and groaned at the pain he felt only for a short amount of time. "What in the world?" He mumbled to himself.

Kisara looked innocently at the sky, a sly smirk on her face, as her eyes would trail over to her brother to notice him glaring at her.

"What was that for?" Makoto asked, arching a brow in anger as his blue eyes narrowed in her direction. Kisara shrugged her shoulders and smiled," No reason at all."

The Inu-pup smiled more when a rock was hidden behind her back and in a quick flash, she threw it at her brother that managed to dodge the rock that was headed for his head.

Makoto growled in irritation and lunged for his sister, dropping his sword and letting it stay on the ground forgotten as Kisara bound to the forest to flee her angered brother as he chased her.

Kisara laughed loudly as she jumped from tree branch to tree branch, a broad smile on her face, and her eyes watered with content. "Kisara!" She heard her brother call her.

Both siblings were chasing each other in their father's forest, both having fun, and training their speed.

"You're so slow, Onii-chan!" Kisara cupped her mouth, craning her head to the side to shout back at her brother. Makoto growled in irritation, slightly angered that he was caught off guard. "Keh, you're the one whole pushed me on the ground!"

Kisara giggled and she knew the comment that she'd say would silence him. "But you weren't concentrating because you were too busy watching Haha-ue talk to Harumi, and Naoko was sitting with her Okaa-san. You like Naoko-chan!"

Makoto gaped at his sister and picked up his speed, and was now running below near the boles of the trees as she jumped over him on the tree tops. "I do not like her!"

"You say that but from what my ears pick up, it says another!" Kisara grinned to herself, hearing him trip over a root and yell out her name.

"If you won't stop, I'll tell Chichi-ue that you like that mangy wolf's son! You know how he hates Kouga and his son." Makoto knew he got her hook, line and sinker as she missed her footing when landed on a tree branch.

Kisara managed to quickly grab onto the nearest branch and use her strength to pull herself up, and sat on it and frowned at her brother. "I don't like him, just because I accepted the flowers he gave me, doesn't mean I like him. He's only a friend, Onii-chan."

Makoto rolled his eyes and jumped to land on the branch she was perched on. "Whatever you say, Kisara. But if I see you accepting any damn things from that wolf I'll tear it apart."

Kisara gasped and crossed her arms," You wouldn't dare. Haha-ue wouldn't like you doing that. She told you to be nice to Syaoran-kun."

"I-" Makoto paused and lifted his hand, then slapping it to his face. He noticed Kisara turn her head to the side, but once she had heard a grumble, she had an idea who it was.

"Myoga-jii-chan," The girl muttered, blinking to the raised hand where the flea floated on to. Her blue eyes went into slits as the old flea jumped on to her nose. Kisara had to slap herself softly, yet harshly to let him go.

"Forgive me young Kisara, but your blood is as good as that of Izayoi-sama," Myoga said his apologies to the young child. Kisara waved him off and shook her head, smiling down at him.

"It is all right Myoga-jii-chan, but please don't do it again, I wouldn't want Chichi-ue squishing you." Kisara had informed him and Myoga bowed his head, grateful that the pup decided not to tell his master.

"Thank you, and speaking of your Otou-san, where is he?" The old flea looked around, in search to find his master, as his beady eyes glanced to and fro the trees of the forest.

"He went off with Uncle to the Western Lands. Didn't he tell you?" Makoto asked, raising a questioning brow. Surely his father would have told his vassal that he'd be leaving with his Uncle to attend to the dilemma occurring in his lands.

Myoga's shoulders slumped down and sighed, falling to his knees, as his hands pressed on Kisara's palm. "Inuyasha-sama, why have you gone without me!" The old flea had cried.

Kisara let out a stifled laughter with her other hand, watching her father's vassal cry in despair, she peered down at Myoga who sighed in sorrow.

"Myoga-jii-chan, was there another reason why you came to visit my Chichi-ue?" Kisara asked him.

Myoga looked at the girl and nodded as he was putting his hands in his sleeves. "Why yes, your Otou-san forgot to do one thing, and I just wanted to remind him just that." Kisara sweat-dropped,"…And that is?"

Myoga pointed below the trees and to a clearing across the river,"Over there."

Makoto and Kisara exchanged looks and jumped down from the tree, and landed softly on the grass. The siblings were guided to the edge of the river and both jumped to make it to the other end.

Looking at the scenery, a sense of familiarity washed over Makoto as he scented the air and noticed a stone under a tree that swayed softly in the wind. I know this place, he thought as he and his sister walked over to where Myoga wanted them to go.

The old flea jumped off Kisara's palm and landed on top of the stone that had a name carved in it.

Kisara abruptly stopped and sat down on the ground next to her brother. "Onii-chan, what does that say? I can barely read what says on the stone." She squinted her eyes but the name that was written.

Makoto kneeled down to stare at the name,"Izayoi."

"This is your Obaa-sama's tombstone, young Makoto. Your Otou-san comes to visit this place once a while to settle flowers here." Myoga told the boy then turned to Kisara. "She was a princess who lived long ago."

Kisara's ears drooped and she closed her eyes, and clasped her hands to pray for her grandmother. Soon after, Makoto did the same actions. His ear flicked as the wind blew towards them. He heard his sister get up, but he didn't open his eyes until the smell of flowers went in his nose.

Half-lidded blue eyes peered down, noticing pink flowers being arranged near the tombstone, and a smile graced on his features. Myoga gave Kisara a curt nod and settled down near the ground, in silence.

"Onii-chan, can we come here again?" Kisara questioned her brother, as the two siblings stood up and brushed their clothing off. It was well over noon as the sun was half way down the sky.

"Yeah," Makoto whispered to his sister. Then noticed the old flea jumped on to his shoulder. "Come on, Kisara, Haha-ue is waiting."

The two of them turned, taking one last look at where their grandmother's tombstone laid, and headed to their home.

A ghostly figure stood under the tree, smiling happily as she watched her two grandchildren leave the area, knowing that her son had a loving family and a home. "Take good care of them, my Inuyasha."
