Author's Note

Hello minna-san! It is great to post another chapter, thank you sooo for the great reviews. I hope you all enjoy this chapter, I had time after studying today, did I mention how much Shakespeare is confusing to me? Well, the book I'm reading now by him, it's giving me a headache. Now you may carry on!

Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha, but I do own Makoto and Kisara.

"There, there, that's it Kagome-chan," Sango rubbed circles on her friends back while holding her hair back.

"I don't think I've had this much morning sickness with Makoto or Kisara," Kagome muttered, her eyes drooped in fatigue and her breaths became labored. She hated feeling so sick in the morning, and she felt as if it was the fifteenth time she regurgitated.

Kagome was given a cup of herbal tea that Kaede had once given Sango when she experienced morning sickness with her twin boys. "Thank you Kaede-obaa-chan, I don't know what I would've done if you weren't here." The young miko gave her teacher a small smile and then groaned when she felt the urge to hurl.

Kaede looked up from her cauldron, as she was making the midday stew, and gave the woman a nod. "Tis my job young Kagome, I do what I must to help, and you're welcome."

Kagome groaned and rubbed her temples in despair. "I guess these are one of those "joys" that a mother feels when she is pregnant." Suddenly the young miko turned blue from the sickness, as she placed her fingertips to her lips, while her eyes dilated.

Sango covered her mouth to suppress a laugh that surfaced in her throat and bit her bottom lip to stop it. Kagome gave her yet another sad smile and then groaned once more. "I wish this morning sickness ended already. Any more and I think my insides will turn to mush. I feel horrible."

"Don't ye worry child, in just a moment of months, the child will be out. So far everything is going well, ye and your child are healthy," Kaede said, stirring her small pot of stew.

Kisara winced when she heard her mother puke and placed her hands over her ears. "Poor Haha-ue, she doesn't sound good. When is Chichi-ue returning home again?" Her dog ears with black tips were already plastered against her skull and her eyes trailed up, asking her brother that sat on the branch above her.

Makoto shrugged his shoulders and lazily let his right leg dangle off the branch, moving back and forth, waiting until they could return inside hut to their mother. The Inu-pup, at times, enjoyed visiting Kaede-obaa-chan. Yet whenever Sango's children were around, they gave him hell on his ears, and it wasn't pretty.

The bunch was outside of the baba's hut, taking in the warmth that was provided by the spring sun. Tadashi and his brothers, currently laid on their stomachs with their eyes closed shut. As for the twin girls, Sakura and Haruka, they were braiding each other's hair. Pleasant smiles ceased their faces as it was now Sakura's turn to do her sister's hair in a similar fashion like hers.

At least he wasn't the only one with dog ears, grinning at how his sister was being chased by the group of children earlier.

"It's been a whole month!" Kisara dramatically threw her hands in the air, complaining to herself. She wanted to see her father desperately, ever since he left, she didn't feel as protected when he was around.

Makoto nodded as he leaned his back on the tree and closed his eyes. His ear flicked to hear a movement below and then the branch he sat on shook momentarily. One eyelid half opened and jumped from noticing his sister's face before him.

"Crap!" the Inu-pup yelped and he lost his balance, tilting over the branch and falling off, but his quick reflexes took a firm grasp of a branch below. He let out a sigh of relief now that he wasn't injured from falling.

"Haha-ue won't be happy to hear you saying bad words onii-chan," his sister remarking knowingly, smirking deviously at him. Propping her legs over the branch he formerly sat on, Kisara fell back clinging just by her knees as they supported her weight.

Makoto frowned at her assertion then with the roll of his eyes followed by blowing a raspberry, he let go and fell to the ground, successfully landing on his feet. The featherlight sound of another set of feet touching the grass followed suit.

Kisara crossed her arms as she stalked behind her brother when he began to amble pass the hut and to the outskirts of the village to the nearby river. The same river in which her mother once shot down a crow demon, resulting in the Shikon no Tama to be destroyed and sent into far off places to be found. "Onii-chan!"

The boy grumbled in retort and not bothering to look back. "Aren't you worried about Chichi-ue?" she asked, her blue eyes meeting the ground to stare at her straw sandals. Makoto abruptly came at a halt at the question and glanced over his shoulder in bewilderment, wondering why she'd inquire something that made him feel such at loss.

"I miss Chichi-ue as much as you do. I didn't want him to go because I hate seeing him leave even if it is only for a short time like the demon exterminations. But Sesshoumaru-oji-sama needs his help and Chichi-ue had to accompany him. I heard from Myoga-jiji that it was disrespectful to not assist the Lord of the West and obey his wishes." Makoto sat by the river bank and looked at the calmness of the water and his reflection.

"Uncle Fluffy must really need his help then. I wonder what is going on right now, do you think Chichi-ue is okay? I'm worried for him and Haha-ue. What if he comes when our brother or sister is born? Is he hurt now? Are they fighting demons?" Kisara questioned the last part out loud, her mind wandering into a series of questions that jumbled all over the place.

"Chichi-ue will be okay. He always comes back and he will only be gone for only two more months. By the time Haha-ue has the pup,

"I can't wait to know what you are," Kagome muttered under her breath, rubbing her bulging stomach tenderly, smiling in content. The urge to regurgitate has subsided and now she was calm and sighed happily.

"It will only be five months, Kagome-chan. The your little one will arrive," Sango informed her with a smile of her own. They both now sitting on the small porch outside of Kaede's hut, inside was now occupied by a child who had tripped over a log and had injured their leg. So the both of them now sat to breath in the

The miko nodded and sighed, her blue eyes trailing up to the sky, listening to the peaceful and serene sounds the forest filled with animals gave out. "Today is a nice day, isn't it?" The taijiya exclaimed, settling down next to her long-time friend, keeping a careful eye on her children, but relaxing all the while. They weren't running around like usual and causing uneasiness, well at least five out of six weren't, as Keiji was scampering all over the place.

"Yes, I just-…" Kagome began, but paused in mid sentence, "I just." Another pause, "Wish Inuyasha was here!" Sango gave her a sad smile when the miko began to cry hysterically, she remembered speaking of mood swings during the time when they are expecting, and now she knew why she was acting like she was.

Sango looked sympathetically at the miko next to her and placed her hand on the woman's shoulder. "I know how you feel, Kagome-chan. When I was expecting Tadashi, it was only three moon's after I found out, and then Miroku told me that he had to help a village nearby with Inuyasha. Although, Inuyasha told him to stay with me, I insisted Miroku to go with him." Sango fixed her green skirt and patted it down.

"It felt like forever before they returned, but it was merely a three day's trip for them and I was so happy to see him again. Unfortunately because of those mood swings, as you call them, I hit him over the head with hiraikotsu." Sango chuckled lightly and smiled. "I then cried when I saw him hurt and well he told me everything was fine but I kept on crying my eyes out."

Kagome nodded her head, listening to her story and let out a laugh when the taijiya mentioned hitting her husband with her bone boomerang, causing her to remember about the old times.

The miko turned her head to the sky and noticed that the sun was starting to set over the sky. "I'll be waiting for you Inuyasha. Be careful my dearest."

Somewhere in the Western Lands, heading to Sesshoumaru's Castle, Inuyasha trailed behind the dragon demon as they ambled through the forest. Sesshoumaru was only yards away with his imp walking feet behind.

Jaken would only glare at him every other time or so, but that would only get him a hit on the head by a small rock, making him tumble down on the ground.

Inuyasha sighed, feeling relatively unease at the silence but it wasn't uncommon when the Daiyōkai was around. Never in a million years, would he find himself accompanying his older half brother, if he were to meet his younger self, three years ago, even he wouldn't believe it.

Once nearing the gate of the castle, just leaving the forest and walking into a clearing, Inuyasha glanced over at the hill in the distance to see the sun dip down lower. "I'll be home soon, Kagome."

Author's Note

Hi again! Well, you've reached the end of the chapter, yay for you! Tune in for next time, most likely near the end of the week for the next chapter.

sesshylovr - Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked the chapter :D
Inu-chan - Arigato! He is isn't he :)
Inuyasharocks01862 - Just as stubborn as his Chichi-ue lol and about love, that's very true :)

Now, you may think of this as really bizarre, but if any of you are Dead Inside But Still Alive fans, I'll be happy to announce that I may have a sequel. Although it is in progress and won't be posted up until April because I want it to be on the day I started DIBSA. I have an idea of it and I think it will be much more action in it. There is a loose ending from the epilogue. But, that is up to you to decide, because I'll have a poll to determine whether I should write it. Well, now that all is said and done, until then! Reviews are appreciated and until the next chapter! Matta ne!
