Hi minna-san! Finally, it is Friday. Sadly, I hope this chapter wasn't short, I've been sick for the past few days. I managed to type this up so I hope you like it! Enjoy.

"Onii-chan," Kisara said, as well as letting out a deep sigh of boredom. Currently, she and her brother were sitting outside, waiting for news. Something had occurred with their mother's pregnancy and both were hoping for the best.
It must have been the fifth time she called him, and his annoyance did not falter, ever since she began. "What is it?" A quite acerbic retort came from the boy with one leg crossed over the other, hands behind his neck, and his blue eyes gazing up to the sky.
Her ears flicked to hear hushed murmurs of the two women in the hut and the rough coughing, knowing fully well that it was their mother. "Will mama be okay? The pup won't…pass because of the sickness will it?" Worry consuming over her made her brother unease, by both the question and her scent, her aura was affecting him greatly.
Makoto scrunched his nose as to determining on how to answer the question. He turned to the side, elbow propped up and his palm holding his head, and opened his mouth to speak. "Haha-ue will be fine, it is just a little cold, Sango-oba-san got it too, remember? And she's okay, isn't she? The pup will be all right, you just worry too much, Kisara." Makoto answered. Brows knitted a little, now his sister caused him to be concerned, even more than he was earlier.
His mother and Kaede informed the two Inu-pups that it was only a mere cold, which would disappear in a matter of two, three days at the most. Although Makoto always thought of his father, remembering how troubled he was when his mother fell ill, reminded that she was only human.
Kisara gazed through half lidded eyes and frowned. "Is it just me or does something feel different?" She sat up, using her hands to hold herself up, her head turning side to side attentively in watch.
Makoto had felt the area have a slim change, but it was some other demonic aura he had not sensed, ever since the wolf demons visited. He already recognized the demonic aura but paid no mind as to it did not have any threat or did a motive to hurt the villagers or them.
Realizing that his sister had become aware of the aura lingering around, he smirked in content, while glazing over at her. "So now you're sensing it, eh? It ain't no problem, just as long as the demon stays away, and if it doesn't, its got a lot of nerve to make things crazy around here."
Ears flattened down in sadness when Kisara noted a cloud in the shape of a large dog in the sky. Reminding her of her Uncle, but most importantly, her father.
Chichi-ue, I miss you so much, come home soon. Come home to us. We are waiting for your arrival, Chichi-ue.

Kaede arched a brow at the information that was told to her. "Ye are saying that the child is taking control?" The elder miko settled the damp cloth down on her lap, then looked at her student who nodded her head.
"Yes, Kaede-obaa-chan, it was really strange. One moment as I was fixing the wound that Hinata-san received from the last demon attack it suddenly disappeared. I held the bandages in my hand, and just as I were to put on new ones, the wound healed." Kagome pressed a finger to her chin, wondering this pregnancy was different from her two previous ones.
Kaede hummed in response, giving the young miko a reassuring smile, and handing her the damp cloth. "Well, I assume that it may be of the time when the child was conceived."
Kagome gladly received the cloth, using it to wipe the beads of sweat on her forehead, then tilted her head in confusion. "When the pup was-" A blush spread across her cheeks at the thought.
"Conceived? Why is that Kaede-obaa-chan?" She asked.
"Do you remember when the child was conceived?" Kaede had questioned, looking at the miko who blushed even more. "It is nothing to be shy of." Kagome nodded and started to think back.
"I remember that it was the night of an old moon." Kagome responded, it was just before the new moon was coming and her pups complained over the lack of power within them, and were allowed to stay over with Sango and Miroku.
The elder miko acknowledged the news with the gesture of her head, before turning to serve them both a cup of tea, and moved to look at Kagome. "So that is where the power technically lies, child."
A look of puzzlement crossed Kagome's feature and opened her mouth but no words came out.
"Ye had noticed the mark on Sesshoumaru's forehead, yes?" Kaede asked, knowing that it wasn't hard to see when it came to anyone who crossed paths with the daiyōkai. "Yes, I have, but what does that have to do with-"
Kaede raised a hand, while smiling gently at the young woman,"The Inu yōkai, preferably, daiyōkai have that marking to signal both might and status. Yet, I also come to confirm that on the old moon it is the timing in which Inu yōkai are at their highest in power."
"You don't think that the baby's power is affecting me, is it? I have been sick lately and I just hope that it won't hurt the baby." Kagome said, placing a protective hand over her swollen stomach.
"Not at all, but ye must be cautious over the illnesses that have been going around, ye may catch it. Although, ye seems perfectly fine now, but I recommend having some of the herbs that grow near the river. It will prevent ye from catching it even if you had it, but at an early stage of the illness, it should go away," Kaede told her.

"You miss Chichi-ue," Makoto said, now cross legged, with his knuckles on the ground over his legs. The loose sleeves of his haori draped over his knees and his eyes fixed over at his sister.
Kisara blinked various times before nodding to his words. "It has been so long and I wish he were here now. I hope nothing happened to him when there was no moon in the sky, he hates it when that time comes, as do I." She scratched the side of her head, trying to get her mind settled on the more positive thoughts.
It'll only make her worry even more if she placed her thoughts over the fact that he could've been hurt on the moonless nights.
"Chichi-ue is with Sesshoumaru-oji-sama, so there's nothing to worry about, so don't get all crazy about it." Makoto closed his eyes, but then let out a yelp when a hand pulled down at his ear.
Growling lowly, the boy glared at his sister who had tears in her blue orbs that glistened, causing him to not lash out and his shoulders tense. "Incase you haven't forgotten Onii-chan, Sesshoumaru-oji-sama doesn't know of Chichi-ue's human night." Kisara said, rubbing her tears away with the palm of her hand.
Makoto looked up at the sky, his eyelids lowering half way,"Sesshoumaru-oji-sama, won't hurt Chichi-ue."
"Makoto. Kisara?" Kagome lifted the door flap and stepped out of the hut, eyes trailing over to see her children shoot up from the ground.
Arms extended outwards and running to her mother, Kisara quickly ran to her side,"Are you going to be okay?" Kagome placed her hand on her daughter's head, and running her fingers through Kisara's silver hair.
"Yes, I am, sweetheart." With the retort from her Mother, Kisara smiled contently up at her, her shoulders losing their tension over the worry she felt prior. Kagome lifted her gaze from her daughter to her son.
"I'm glad you will be fine, Mother," Makoto whispered, hugging her tightly.
Author's Note
Well, there we go, another chapter completed, I have another chapter half written which would most likely be up tomorrow. As you just found out, the unborn pup's power comes from being born on the waning moon, the old moon is another way to say it, and there is another one which will be discovered soon. By this time, it is nearly time when Inuyasha comes back from his journey.
