Daiki knelt in front of his lady as she walked gracefully into the room. "So you have done what was need, did you not?" InuKimi questioned her vassal with a raised brow, her gold eyes flicked in his direction, yet continuing her way to her chair.

"Yes," he answered hastily. Having done his lady's request, Daiki slowly rose on his feet, then turned to leave. Although she stopped him before he could exit the room,"And where are the hanyō children?"

Daiki's eyes widened and his fist clenched, and his knuckles turned white,"They disappeared milady." The small 'hmm' that came from InuKimi caused his blood to turn cold.

"You are dismissed." Daiki hastily trotted to the grand doors and left. Fearing for his life he had transformed into his true form and took to the sky, soaring away from the sky castle.

InuKimi eased in her chair, hands clasped over another on her lap, and looked straight at the door. She thought over the circumstances, it was true that she had sent Daiki to deal with taking the miko to the clan. She and the unborn…child, her face scrunched up at the thought of the being in the miko's stomach, and quickly brushed off her thoughts to the hanyō children. Perhaps this miko isn't as powerful as I would have perceived her to be. She had managed to be caught so easily. Yet from what I hear and was told, the child was conceived on the night of the old moon.

InuKimi sighed softly, she really didn't have anything else to do while she was in her castle. Apparently the sigh had called one of her servants over.

"Milady, is there anything that you need?" a servant of hers had asked, but with the raise of one hand, she signaled that nothing was needed for the moment. "Perhaps I'll go and see the miko myself." She said to herself.

"Obaa-chan…" Makoto muttered, his blue eyes staring up at the warm brown orbs that belonged to the middle-aged woman he stood in front of. Said woman was quite shock, but not as shock as she would've imagined, she knew somehow that this day would come.

She slowly descended the few wooden steps to go closer to the children before her and smiled softly. That kind of smile that reminded the two of one person they loved dearly. Kisara smiled happily in return, but then it had faded in the memory of what occurred moments before.

"Onii-chan," The girl turned her head over her shoulder to glance at her brother. "Haha-ue is in trouble. That demon transformed into his true form…what if he did something to her?" Her eyes began to shimmer due to the tears that started to form, fearing of what or could have happened to her dear mother.

Mrs. Higurashi, having no idea what had taken place before the half demon children arrived, placed her hand on the girl's shoulder. "May I ask what happened?" Worry starting to cloud her judgement and Makoto sensed her nervousness.

He subconsciously walked toward her, only wanting to lessen her tension, but he himself felt unease as well. Although he had told her what went happened and was soon interrupted by a loud cry of an elder man's voice.

"Michiyo, what in the world has happened? Souta barreled in mumbling something about the well a-" Jii-chan stepped by the shoji doors of the well house and his eyes bulged at the sight of two white-haired children.

Before the Inu-pups could blink, Jii-chan placed an ofuda onto their foreheads. "Begone you demons, this is no place in which you should be," Clearly the elder man did not notice the twitching appendages on the crown of their heads.

Makoto crinkled his nose, reaching up with a small clawed hand, pulling off the offending paper with the tips of his fingers. His eyes set on the elder who scowled and muttered things about how he should work on his spiritual powers.

"Father, do you not see who these two are," Mrs. Higurashi said, giving the elder man a joyous smile when looking his way. She had placed a hand on Kisara's shoulder and the young Inu-pup gazed at her.

Jii-chan rubbed his chin, his sharp eyes glued onto the boy who stood behind his daughter-in-law and the girl, thinking deeply but then it clicked. "If they are who I think they are the children of, I may as well just collapse from a heart attack. Kami…are they really their children?"

Souta let out a shout of content and a fist-pumped the air, jumping down the steps to greet his niece and nephew. The teen was hiding behind the window of the well house after his grandfather exited the house when he informed him about the well, yet when he was about to tell the elder of the two Inu-pups, Jii-chan hurried to check it out.

The shrill from the teen had caused Kisara to jump and Makoto to quickly unsheathe his sword and aim it directly in his direction. "Onii-chan!" Kisara scolded and fumbled from the middle-aged woman's hold to reassure her brother that they were safe.

Souta crossed his arms, head bobbing up and down, seeing the resemblance of his nephew and brother-in-law,"You do take after Inu-no-nii-chan's looks and personality."

Kisara moved to the teen and took in his scent. "You're our oji-san!" Souta smiled at the girl and nodded. "I guess I am." Kisara laughed happily but turned to look at the well,"Onii-chan, we must go, Chichi-ue must be worried."

Makoto was about to answer but then the smell of something that made his stomach growl in hunger stopped him from answering. "Oh, I'll be right back," Souta said, remembering that the starchy noodles his "hero" from the past loved, was ready to eat.

"Onii-chan?" Kisara questioned when she notice her brother follow their Uncle out of the well house. Mrs. Higurashi stifled a laugh and watched her granddaughter follow suit. "Our Kagome is grown up and has children of her own, I do hope that she is not hurt."

"I have such a headache," Jii-chan muttered and gazed at the well, worrying over his granddaughter, hoping that things will be fine soon.

"This is absurd, if you think the unborn child possesses a threat, why not get rid of the abomination!" An elder dog demon bellowed, silencing the other dog demons in the room. A female dog demon stood up and stared at the others around her.

Her eye twitched and the murmurs of agreement,"This child is the great Inu no Taisho's grandchild. Have you no decency?" She glared at the man who frowned in her direction.

Another stood up, a male, staring down at the female with a serious expression. "Nishiyo-sama, with all do respect, I never considered the second son of the great dog demon a member of the family. That half-breed does not deserve a title."

Nishiyo glared at the one who spoke against her word,"Does anyone want to add on to what he said? I, for one, would love to hear what you would want to say."

The dog demon to her left rose,"That being is a threat Nishiyo-sama. It was bred by a miko and a half demon, from what we've been told, the other two are also a danger. The boy can place up barrier that harms both ningen and yōkai."

Although before Nishiyo could utter a word to them, the grand doors were slammed open, and her eyes widened in surprise.

Kagome, all of a sudden was pushed into the room, yet she did not flinch in fear when at least ten heads turned her way. Even if she was in a room filled with the most high ranking and fearsome of dog demons of the clan, one that her husband was informed of by his half brother, Kagome kept a straight face.

Nishiyo pushed back on her chair and ambled over to the miko who took a step back, but was kept in place by that of Inuyasha's Uncle. "Release her at once, I will be in charge of her for now, you are now all excused."

The elder and the others bowed to the demoness and walked out of the room. "Do I need to repeat myself, Onii-sama?"

It was then that Kagome realized that the woman with the long flowing white hair and golden eyes, was Inuyasha's Aunt. Kagome's mouth opened and was slightly ajar, she never knew that the great Inu no Taisho had any siblings, but she wondered why Sesshoumaru never informed Inuyasha.

Kagome glanced at the dog demon who held her shoulders, but she knew that the unborn baby in her stomach was unleashing its power on him. "Rikuto…" Nishiyo said sharply, her eyes narrowing at her brother.

Scowling and practically tossing the miko he held by her shoulders aside, as if he was burned and Rikuto bowed quickly, leaving the room to seek the elder.

Nishiyo turned to the paled miko and smiled apologetically,"Look at you, pale like the stomach of a fish, I won't do you no harm." She extended a hand to help her up on her feet. Kagome hesitated but gladly took her hand and was placed back on her feet.

Kagome moved a hand onto her bulging belly, worried for the baby's safety, including herself. "My name is Nishiyo and I apologize for my Onii-sama's rude actions. He can be a bit harsh on ningen, but you aren't any normal ningen, you are a miko, feared by all demons. I've heard of you," Nishiyo told her. She moved over to a boiling small pot and poured two cups of tea for her and herself.

Kagome never felt more uncomfortable in her life, here she was, being helped and cared for, and her children were most likely worried about her.

Sensing the miko's apprehension, Nishiyo lowered the cup that neared her lips,"Your pups are fine and you will be all right. It would be a long day and unfortunately, I cannot let you stay here by yourself; nevertheless, I will be watching over you, and guide you to a spare room we have."

Kagome bit the bottom of her lip,"W-Why are you helping me?" Nishiyo smiled over her shoulder as she motioned for her to follow, the two walked down the halls of the castle, and lead her to a velvet door.

Nishiyo opened the door and let her in,"For one such as I, it is unwise to go against the clan's orders for helping a ningen, but I noticed that my brother was very fond of the ningen species. Over the century, I've come to see that we are no different from your kind, although our qualities are higher than the ningen race."

Soaring in the sky, he didn't notice the other presence of another dog demon, in which barged into his form, barreling the two of them down into the ground. Transforming into his humanoid form, back turned against the being that barreled into him, and growled at the demon who had dared to bring him down.

Daiki turned around to only come across the solemn expression of that of the Lord of the West.

"Such haste in leaving, Daiki." Sesshoumaru had said, his demeanor was strong and causing the other dog demon to fear him. Daiki gulped and his fists clenched, his eyes flicking from the demon lord to the half demon.

"Where is the miko?" It was a demand that came from young lord and Daiki straightened his posture; however, showing no intention of telling where the woman was, he scoffed in return.

This had made Sesshoumaru displeased with the dog demon's actions and asked once more, yet he did not want to question him another time, for he was overly agitated.

Daiki merely smirked at the question that was repeated and shrug his shoulders once. "I do not know where the miko is, for if I knew, I would've informed you."

Unexpectedly, Daiki was lifted by his neck and noticed a flash of red in the eyes of the half demon that held him. Inuyasha growled menacingly and his eyes narrowed as they stared into the golden eyes that widened,"Your scent is the same from the clearing, don't tell me any damn lies. Where is my wife? Where is she?!"

Daiki glanced over the half demon, struggling in his hold,"S-Sesshoumaru-sama, are you letting this hanyō hurt me?"

Sesshoumaru turned his back on him, his brows knitted and his eyes were alert,"You brought this upon yourself, Daiki. This Sesshoumaru will do nothing for you."

Eyes contracted at the added pressure around his neck, Daiki heard the growls of the half demon becoming louder by the second,"Milady…she wanted me to take her to the castle-the clan."

Inuyasha released the dog demon, hurling him into a tree, his sclera bloody red. "Sesshoumaru, where is the castle located?" His half brother stopped to answer his brother's answer.

"Come along, Inuyasha, he is of no use anymore."

Sesshoumaru led his brother, letting Daiki be free of the torment that would've happened, he knew that they would be expected soon.
