[A/N: I've been having problems coming up with things for these last few Disney based worlds, but I did notice that there were a couple chapters in the beginning where Juliet was alone so I thought I'd give the last two Disney chapters to Akio and Clementine so expect to see Clementine getting the spotlight next chapter. Reviews are appreciated. Enjoy the chapter!]
The new world didn't look that big since they were in a small village of wooden houses and thatched roofs. "According to the map we're in Land of Dragons. I sure hope there aren't any actually dragons. Or maybe that would be kinda cool if there were actually dragons."
Akio's face tinged green at the mention of actual dragons. "I hope you're right and there aren't any."
As they walked through the village Juliet caught sight of a young woman with a painted face wearing brightly colored robe like clothes with her hair piled on top of her head. "Miss, do you know if there are actual dragons in this world?"
The girl shook her head, but expression suddenly changed. "What are you doing out here in those clothes? All the eligible women in the country have to meet the match maker today."
"Match maker?"
"Yes, come with me." The woman grabbed onto Juliet and Clementine and began pulling them towards one of the houses.
Akio went to follow them into the house when an elderly woman batted him away with her cane.
"No boys allowed."
Juliet managed to squirm away from one of them women who'd pulled the tie from her hair. "Akio, why don't you go look around the world don't worry about us."
"Ok….if you think you'll be ok." He trudged off to further investigate the village. While he was walking he saw several more women with painted faces, but whenever he tried to approach them they'd only giggle before running away. "What flighty women I just want to ask them a question."
From behind him there was the pitter patter of small bare feet running through the dirt towards him.
Akio felt something small collide with his leg and looked down to see a small girl with long black hair staring up at him. "Are you all right?"
The girl looked up at him shyly before getting back to her feet. It looked like she was maybe four or five.
"Where are your parents?"
The little girl pointed over at a tall man with a shorter woman at a vender.
"Don't you think you should stay with them instead of running off?"
Before the little girl could answer her Mother came bustling over. "Mulan, how many times have I told you not to run off?" The woman picked Mulan up balancing her on her hip before looking up at Akio. "I'm sorry if she caused you any problems."
"No problems here."
"I hope you'll pardon me in saying that you aren't from around here are you?"
Akio shook his head. "No, I'm not from around here, but could you answer a quick question of mine?"
"Of course."
"Who's the match maker?"
"The match maker educates all the young ladies in the finer arts of being a woman, but I'm afraid she's going to have some trouble with Mulan."
"Well, two of my friends were just abducted to go see her and this old lady wouldn't let me in."
"Of course she wouldn't let you in. You're a boy."
"So getting ready to meet the match maker is kinda like getting married where the men aren't supposed to see the women?"
"Yes, it's kind of like that. By the way do you have a name?"
"Akio."
"I'm Fa Li and that's my husband Fa Zhou." She pointed over at the tall man who was now walking towards them. "Would you like to come by our home and have something to eat?"
Akio was a little taken aback by her friendliness, but he was hungry. "Yes, that would be nice and maybe you could tell me a little about this world. I only just got here."
"Yes, yes anything you like."
As Akio followed Fa Li to her house he noticed that Mulan had been staring at him unblinkingly and looked away. "I can't tell if Mulan likes me or hates me."
Fa Li looked down at Mulan and laughed. "She's just curious, but she's very shy so please excuse her staring."
The food that Fa Li put on the table mostly consisted of rice and dumplings. "So, what do you want to know?"
Akio swallowed a mouthful of rice before responding. "Have you seen any monsters called wraiths around here?"
She looked confused, but then nodded her head. "I didn't know that's what they were called, but there is one lurking outside the village."
Fa Zhou was sitting across from Akio. "I don't think a boy like you could get rid of it."
"Maybe not, but if I could get my friends we could get rid of it. What does it look like?
"It looks like a panda, but it's much, much larger with these glowing gold eyes and there's foam that drips from his mouth. We call it the Mandarin Panda."
"Where is it?"
"In a bamboo thicket outside the village. We've been able to fend it off for a little while now, but it's gotten more vicious as of late." Fa Zhou paused to take a sip of his tea. "You say your friends could get rid of it?"
"Yeah, it'd be no big deal for us." Akio was hesitant to mention the Keyblade in case they'd over react or just ask him more questions that he couldn't answer. "By the way have either of you seen a boy with shaggy hair and pierced ears, a woman in red, or a tall man with long black hair?"
Fa Zhou looked at his wife before turning his steely gaze back to Akio. "I have seen the woman in red and the black haired man."
"And after that the Mandarin Panda appeared right?"
"Yes, but how could you know that?"
"The woman in red is Antonia and the black haired man is Erik and they're both bad news."
"Who's the boy with the pierced ears?"
"Puck and he's just as bad as Erik and Antonia."
Fa Li had a worried look on her face and pulled Mulan a little closer to her. "And you say these three are bad?"
"Yes, very bad. Where ever they go bad things follow. My friend Juliet she thinks Erik is wonderful and I've tried telling her so has my other friend Clementine that he isn't any good, but she won't listen."
"Your friend is a fool to think that a man who can create monsters is wonderful."
"Maybe if she heard it from you she'd listen."
Fa Zhou took another sip of his tea. "Have you encountered any more of these monsters?"
"Yes, when I first left my home world Puck created this thing that looked like a pile of slime."
"Where are you from?" Mulan was looking up at him excitedly.
"Me? I'm from a world called The Grid. Its world within a world really. You can only get there by going through this computer in Radiant Garden. There's also another world in the computer called Space Paranoids."
Fa Zhou and Fa Li exchanged confused looks while Mulan went over to Akio's side of the table. "What's a computer?"
"It's kinda hard to explain, but a computer is kinda like an electric encyclopedia. You can find just about anything on one."
"And you lived inside one?"
"Yes, I was a guard for a man named CLU."
Mulan frowned. "You look too young to be a guard."
"Well, I'm older then I look. My user that's what we call the people who program us created me to look young, but I'm sure if I stay outside the computer long enough I'll age."
"Who programmed you?"
"I don't know."
"That's sad that you don't know who programmed you."
"Well, that's one of the reasons I left so I could hopefully find who ever my user is."
Fa Li walked around the table and pulled Mulan back. "That's enough Mulan I think you've badgered him enough."
"Its fine I don't normally have anyone who's so interested in me. Juliet and Clementine would be lapping this up."
Fa Zhou stood up. "Maybe since you've fought monsters like the Mandarin Panda before it couldn't hurt to show you where it is. If you'll follow me."
Mulan waved enthusiastically as Akio followed Fa Zhou out of the house.
"Would you like a sword?"
"No, I've got it covered." Akio continued to follow Fa Zhou towards the exit of the village noticing that several people would stop to look admiringly at Fa Zhou. "You're pretty popular."
"I was a soldier in the Emperor's last war against the Huns."
"Who are the Huns?"
"They are our most egregious enemy."
Hopefully Erik doesn't know how they are. "But they were defeated, right?"
"Yes, and hopefully they will never come back, but I wouldn't underestimate Shan-Yu."
As they got closer to the bamboo thicket that was outside the village Fa Zhou slowed his pace. "This is where I leave you. You'll have to do the fighting on your own."
"No sweat I can handle a wraith on my own." I hope. Akio watched Fa Zhou go before taking in a deep breath and walking into the thicket. "Ok, where could a giant panda be hiding?" He could hear lumbering footfalls and growling coming from further inside. "I really hope I wasn't making a big mistake with this."
The bamboo was roughly pushed aside as a lumbering wraith made its way into the clearing. It looked exactly the same way Fa Zhou had explained. The Mandarin Panda looked pretty much like a regular panda expect much larger with rolling gold eyes and a foaming fanged mouth. It turned its beady eyes to Akio before rearing up on its hind legs and snarling at him.
"You don't scare me. I've seen other wraiths that are a lot scarier then you."
In response to this the Mandarin Panda lowered itself onto its front paws and continued to snarl while advancing on him.
Akio backed away a bit before throwing his disk at the wraith hitting it square between the eyes.
At first it didn't look like it had completely registered in the wraith's head that it had just been struck. After a few seconds it roared so furiously that it nearly knocked Akio backwards.
"And now I've made it angry."
The Mandarin Panda raised one of its shovel like paws up to knock Akio away when it was struck in the face again. It roared in pain and backed off a bit rubbing its snout.
"Are you done now?"
It didn't look like the wraith was going to back off, but when it raised its paw again someone stabbed it from behind. The wraith let out a guttural moan before collapsing on its side.
Akio was staring at the wraith in disbelief before he looked up to see a short pale faced dark haired grey eyed woman standing behind the wraith. "Who are you?"
The woman didn't respond before turning and walking back into the bamboo.
Akio ran after her, but the bamboo was growing so closely together it was difficult to push the stalks apart. "Where are you going? I just want to ask you a question."
There wasn't a response.
Since it was so difficult to get through the bamboo Akio walked back into the clearing to see that the Mandarin Panda had disappeared. "Who was that woman? Why did she help me?" He was still thinking about this while he walked back into the village. "I wonder if she's somehow connected to Erik? It wouldn't surprise me really he seems like the type to have people everywhere."
It didn't take him long to find the house that Juliet and Clementine were in and this time there was no old lady with a cane to beat him off. "What are you guys wearing? You hardly look like yourselves."
Juliet nearly dropped the tea pot she was holding. "Akio, what are you doing in here?"
"Did I tell you I fought off a wraith?"
"On your own?"
"No, I had it under control, but then this strange woman showed up and killed it before I could."
Juliet stood up and grabbed Clementine by the hand. "Let's go get our clothes and get out of here. This make up is making my face itch."
Akio looked down at his feet while he waited for them to get back. "But didn't you hear me Juliet? There was this strange woman who could just take down a wraith without barley doing anything."
Juliet walked back out in her usual clothes with a clean face. "Well where is she?"
"I don't know. She was there one minute then she was gone."
"Where are my two new favorites?" Judging from how deep the woman's voice was she must have been pretty big.
Juliet grabbed onto Akio and Clementine's wrists and hastily walked out of the house. "Thank goodness that's over I never want to see another teapot or wear another one of those dresses for the rest of my life. Let's get out of here before that woman comes back.
