"Tarrlok?" Tarrlok was there sitting in a cell. He looked weak, very weak. Ha! The miscreant finally got he deserved. That is why you must obey Kalani, or you could end up this him! I inhaled sharply. We took of our masks. He looked at all of us but as soon as he saw my face he cowered.

"Her! Get her away from me!" Mako and Korra looked at me and were just as confused as I was. The voice was laughing…

"She won't hurt you…" Korra blurted out. Mako stepped in front of me for good measure. "Are there any other prisoners here?"

Tarrlok looked at me for a few seconds, and saw I posed no threat. He relaxed. "No, it's just me."

"And what make you so special?" Korra asked.

Tarrlok sighed. "I'm Amon's brother." We all gasped. Two disappointments… "Amon is from the northern water tribe, he's a water bender and a blood bender. Just like I was…and you." He looked at me.

"How did this happen?"

"It started with our father…Yakone." The voiced seemed…tense in way. "He managed to escape prison and change is appearance with the help of his gang. He settled down in the northern water tribe and soon met my mother. A few years later Amon was born under the name Noatak and I was born soon after. Noatak was a great brother, always had my best interest at heart. He was kind, good natured kid." Weak. "Those were good years, and then Noatak and I discovered we were water benders. That brought out a new side of our father. He was tougher, sterner as he trained us. Noatak was a natural, I was…not as good. And when my father snapped at me, Noatak always was in my defense. Even back then he wanted everyone to be treated equally.

It was a few years later he told us his true identity, Yakone. And that's when our blood bending training began. He taught because he wanted us to take over Republic City, to avenge him. He taught how to us our new found skill without the aid of the full moon. Blood bending changed Noatak, he reveled in his new found power. The loving brother I once knew became cold and detached. And it went downhill once Yakone made us blood bend on each other. Noatak did our fathers bidding on me, but I refused to do it to him." Insubordinate Child. "When I refused Yakone went after me. He almost got me but Noatak stopped him. He blood bended our own father. He brought Yakone to his knees then told me to leave with him, that we could leave forever. But I couldn't, I couldn't leave my mother. He called me weak and ran into the blizzard. My father and I searched for him for days but we couldn't find him. We thought he died in the storm. Everyone's life changed after that. My mother was in a constant state of depression along with my father. His plan for revenge was foiled and I was just there… My father always swore revenge but died without ever achieving it."

"That was one of the saddest stories I've heard…" I said looking down.

"Did you know all along? That Amon was your brother?" Mako asked.

"It wasn't until he took my bending away I was sure. I recognized his grasp but I had my suspicions after the night you two came into my office and we had the scuffle."

"Why then?" Korra asked.

"Kalani, who taught you how to blood bend?" Keep quite!

"I-I don't know." I said truthfully. I really didn't know who's been corrupting my mind since I was a child…

"Your grasp is very similar to Noatak's but stronger…and the only person that could be stronger then my brother is my father." I almost passed out.

"What? No. No. No. You have to be mistaken. That just can't be." I was almost brought to tears. Yakone can't be the voice. He just can't be!

"Look, Kalani, I don't what connection you have with my father or how you even do. But be careful. He's using you, I'm sure of it. You're just another pawn in his game sick game of revenge like my brother and I and look where that's gotten us." You won't end up like this Kalani. You're stronger, you listen, you obey! You can rule this forsaken city! I have plans for us Kalani…just listen to me and you'll be the one in charge. You'll no longer be behind the avatar. She'll be begging on her knees for mercy! I gasped. Mako took my hand.

"Avatar Korra, I am truly sorry for all I have done to you." Tarrlok said breaking the silence. "But Amon must be stopped."

"But how are we going to stop him? Amon's not stupid; if we get to close he'll just use his blood bending." Mako had a point.

"Yeah, he'll use his blood bending!" Korra's face lit up. "Amon has always been two steps ahead of us but know we're 5 steps in front of him! He doesn't know we know he's a water bender! If we can get him to bend he'll expose himself and no one will trust after we figure out he's a bender! We need to get to the Arena! I can't believe I'm saying this but Thank you Tarrlok."

"Go now, he can't know I've spoken to anyone. But before you go one last thing. The avatar ruined my father's life, and given the opportunity he would surly dispose you." He looked at Korra and I. I would never hurt Korra…but I would. I was stunned once again.

"Thank you again Tarrlok, but we need to get to the Arena." With everything that just happened on our mind we ran to the Arena.
