Hi minna-san sorry for the delay, I do hope you read the last chapter, as to not confuse any of you if didn't. The pup was born on the last chapter, this is the baby's name. The beginning is before the birth.

Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha, but I do own Makoto and Kisara.

"Hmm…I wonder if it is a girl," Sakura and Haruka exchanged glances as they looked towards their Inu hanyō friend. Kisara was seated under the shadows provided by the tree, resting her back against the bole of the tree as stared at the sky.

The two ningen children ambled towards her, smiling wide and eyes shining with glee, cheeks puffed up in happiness. "Kisara-chan, what do you think it will be?" Sakura was the one to ask her.

Putting her forefinger on her chin, humming softly under her breath in deep thought, Kisara had too wondered what her sibling's gender would be.

"I wanted a brother, the pup seems strong enough to be a boy," Kisara finally answered, tilting her head to the side, her right ear flopping a little. Haruka resisted the urge to tug the little cute ear and merely smiled at her friend. Her thoughts then switched to the time when she had first-hand seen the barrier Kisara's future sibling had done from inside the womb.

"You're right, you might have a baby brother." Haruka told her, nodding in agreement. Sakura shook her head in disagreement. "Bah!" The girl let out, throwing her hands in the air. "I bet it is going to be a girl, that way we can out number the boys."

All too soon, Kisara had noticed the little spark and twinkle in Haruka's eyes. The young half demon girl yelped when she had stood up as quick as lightning.

"Okay, then we will see nee-chan," Haruka said, smirking deviously as she knew that she'd be the one to win. Sakura smiled nodding her head away, equally excited to await the arrival of the new family member.

Kisara was too panicked by the pained shrills that even from her distance away from the hut, she could hear her mother's shrills.

Although she was overwhelmed by worry for her mother's safety, never knowing that birthing was such a complicated thing, well for one her age to understand. It took a lot of preparation, as she watched Rin and Sango walking in and out of the hut, both carrying jugs of water.

The young half demon ears lowered,"Mama…" She whispered, bitting the bottom of her lip in anxiety. She wanted her mother to be all right again.

"Mother will be okay," Her brother plopped beside her, crossing his arms much like their father. Makoto gazed towards his father, noticing that he too was fixing all his attention to their home. Kisara stared at her brother,"Are you sure."

"Course I'm sure, papa was worried when you arrived, so was I."

Miroku chuckled, his mind plagued by the memory of the time his half demon friend waited for the birth of his first child. Although, this time around, Inuyasha seemed more tense and unease than before. However, he knew that it must have been because of Nishiyo and Sesshoumaru, the two daiyōkai stood yards away from the hut, gazing off into the distance.

Miroku had first sensed their yōki just as Kagome began to go into labor. The monk looked at Inuyasha in the corner of his eye,"I am sure they won't do a thing, well…Nishiyo-sama won't, I'm not too certain about your brother."

He noticed Inuyasha glare at him over his shoulder. "Half-brother," Inuyasha had spat, glowering even more. "And if that's your way to calm me down, it ain't helpin' monk," Inuyasha told him.

Miroku shifted Shako in his lap, moving the four year old to sit comfortably when he saw him fuss. Mikio patted his father on his shoulder,"Pa, will we get to see the baby?" His navy-blue eyes blinking in curiosity at his father, his little hand now resting to his side.

Inuyasha watched as Miroku patted his son on his head and ruffled his dark brown hair. "If your Uncle Inuyasha is willing to let us in after it is born, it won't be long now.

Nishiyo looked up at the sky to see the sun dip below,"It is time." She smiled softly when she could finally sense the surge of power come from the hut. "The pup has arrived," She whispered. And, on the sixteenth night of the lunar month, Nishiyo then gazed at her oldest nephew,"You will wait out here, Sesshoumaru. I will be the one to check on the newborn and Kagome-chan." Sesshoumaru merely nodded once, his eyes closed and turned his back to walk away.

Inuyasha stood on his feet abruptly, hearing the cry of his third child,"T-The pup's here." He waited patiently for someone, Rin or Sango, to emerge from the shoji doors. Kisara ran to her father's side, clutching tightly to his red hakama, her eyes gazing at the entrance of their home.

"N-Next one, Kaede-baachan, a-are you…sure?" Kagome strained, her eyes closing tightly in pain. The elder miko grimly nodded at the young woman, her eyes narrowed in seriousness,"All right, child, ye need to push now."

Sango held the crying newborn in her arms, gazing at Rin who keep reassuring Kagome that all will be well. "Rin-chan," Sango said when Kaede had exclaimed that she had seen the head of the second newborn.

Rin looked at the woman and got up to hold the squirming bundle in Sango's arms. "Sango, I need ye help!" Kaede bellowed, she noticed that Kagome was almost to the point of passing out.

"Kagome-chan, stay awake, it won't be long now." Sango held her friend's hand and saw Kagome smile weakly at her. Sango gazed at Kaede for help to keep her close friend from going unconscious. Her brown eyes swelled with tears when not even a second later the cry of the second newborn sounded.

Sango wiped her tears away as she was handed the crying infant to her, turning around to walk toward the water bucket. Kaede let out a small sigh of relief, there were no problems with the delivery, and now the mother and children could rest.

"Ye did good, especially for one that birthed half demon children," Kaede said, cleaning up and giving Kagome a joyful smile. Her eye softened when her student reached out to hold her two infants.

"Chichiue, there are two pups," Kisara whispered as she sensed four spiritual powers coming from the hut. The reiki she could fully sense was that of her mother and Kaede, although the elder woman's spiritual powers were waning time to time. However, there were two more in the hut.

Inuyasha gaped, he could hear six different heartbeats beating, and his heart swelled with joy. If there were to be only one child coming into the world there'd be one less heartbeat that he'd hear. Two pups, He smiled happily and placed his hand on his daughter's head. Kisara laughed blissfully and hugged her father, content that she would be a big sister to two siblings.

Makoto, equally in enthusiasm as his sister, smiled to show how in high spirits he was. However, his smile lowered into a paltry frown as his eyes trailed toward his father's aunt who started to walk to their home and he took a step in order to stop her. Yet his father halted his movements to intervene. Even though she was family and she didn't seem to do anything bad, he barely knew her enough for her to step near their home.

"Nishiyo-obasan," Inuyasha said, grasping the attention of the daiyōkai who smiled their way. Nishiyo gave her young nephew a small nod, her golden eyes glinting in happiness, she didn't need to see the newborn, well newborns.

"I can tell they are powerful, I want to wish you well, Inuyasha." Nishiyo gazed at the shoji door, eyes closing slowly to wish the remainder of his family well. I will come back, sometime soon, to watch over the dear little ones.

Nishiyo parted with a farewell, transforming to her real form, then took off into the sky. Soon after Sesshoumaru had followed, silently and without a word to his former ward. Rin emerged from the hut hastily to speak to him, the seventeen -soon to be eighteen year old girl - watched with a dismal expression as she saw him disappear in the distance.

"Rin-chan," her eyes trailed to see Kisara tugging on her sleeve eagerly waiting to see if she could enter. Rin saw the girl's ears twitched at the small noises that came from inside. "Can we go in now?" Kisara finally asked, her cheeks puffed up as if she held her breath to hear the next words she'd say.

Blushing at the obvious lack of attention as she was too focused on her now gone lord, Rin nodded. "O-Oh of course, Kisara-chan, you all may go in now," Rin stepped to the side to let the three of them to enter their hut.

Kisara quickly scampered inside, passing around Sango who let out a laugh of joy, and Kaede who held the water bucket in her arms. Makoto walked in slowly, afraid that his siblings may be asleep, but with the reassurance he was given by his father, he entered to see is mother siting up holding two bundles in her arms.

Kagome's laughter echoed when her daughter excitedly sat beside her, her hands clasped together and awe seen in her daughter's eyes. "They are adorable," Kisara whispered, staring at her newborn siblings.

Makoto sat next to his little sister, blinking as he stared at them, they were tiny compared to how Kisara had looked when she was born.

Inuyasha gazed at his family, thanking Kami for the precious gifts he was given, for one such as him. He would have never thought he'd find someone to spend the rest of his life with, let alone have children.

"Dearest, come meet your new son and daughter," the soothing voice of his wife filled his ears and Inuyasha ambled toward them. Kisara stared to make whimsical expressions with her eyes, earning a look of wonder from her brother.

"You're going to scare them like that," Makoto muttered, then receiving an elbow to his side. "Am not," Kisara retorted, her attention diverted to speak with her brother, then switched to the now roused newborn half demons.

"Thank you," Inuyasha whispered, placing a chaste kiss on Kagome's forehead, then resting his forehead on hers. Kagome would have placed her hand on his cheek, if it had not been for the newborn held in her right arm.

Slightly confused as to why he was thanking her, she merely smiled,"For what?" Kagome couldn't help but wonder, he had thanked her earlier as well before she had gone into labor.

"For coming into my life, you are the reason for all the things I have in my life, Kagome. Your side is my home, forever."

His words brought tears to her eyes and was wiped away by his thumb. Kagome let out a stifled sob and nodded,"I love you, Inuyasha." Inuyasha nodded, carefully sitting down beside her to gaze at his children.

Makoto and Kisara looked at each other, knowing that their parents were too concentrated on speaking to the other, and stared at their siblings.

"What do you think we should call em?" Inuyasha had asked, looking at his wife who turned her head to her older children. "I don't know…what do you think we should name them?" Kagome questioned the two.

Kisara pursed her lip, both newborns had tuffs of black hair, she couldn't tell which one was which. "Hahaue, which one is a boy?" She asked, blinking up at her mother.

Kagome moved the newborn on her left arm so that Inuyasha could hold it,"The pup your father is holding is your baby sister." Kisara nodded and smiled at the infant in her mother's arms.

I know, Kisara thought with a smile,"Can we name him Jirou?"

The name had made Kagome's heart clench yet not for sadness, but for love. It was her father's name and her daughter wanted to name him after her grandfather. Kagome looked at her husband with questioning eyes.

"I think it suits him, after all, he is the second son," Inuyasha retorted, noticing his newborn start to rouse from his slumber. The newborn, with the patch of dark hair, yawned. He had shifted in his mother's arms, his tiny hands clenched together.

Kagome stared at her second son lovingly, taking in the color of his eyes, the chocolate pools that gazed back at her. "Jirou it is," Kagome whispered, her eyes softened when her son let out a small 'ah' sound.

"Now what do you think we should name this little girl here, eh?" Inuyasha smirked when his now youngest daughter gazed at him. The two triangle appendages adorning the crown of her head were a little flopped down, not yet to perk up like his own. Just like her twin brother, she too, had chocolate eyes.

Makoto walked around his mother to look at his sister who scrunched her nose, most likely smelling him to recognize his scent. "Izayoi," The Inu pup muttered, but not low enough for his father's ears to miss.

"What?" Inuyasha said, rather hesitantly, as if he had mistaken the name his son said.

"Izayoi…can we name her that, chichiue?" Makoto asked, shuffling on his feet, feeling uncomfortable at the unknown emotion that swirled in his father's golden-amber eyes. Kagome smiled, already knowing the answer that her husband didn't say out loud.

"Welcome to the family, Jirou and Izayoi."

Thank you for the reviews, I appreciate them :D I apologize for the prolonged update. I hope you all aren't mad at me . I do hope you like the baby names. Jirou, is referring to chapter 52, and it means second son. I was planning to name their second daughter Izayoi, in which is why Nishiyo had mentioned "16th night of the lunar moon" which is the meaning of Izayoi's name. Until then minna-san, I do wish to update soon, but that is when I can. School is getting even more hectic now that it is only a month left, not counting this month, well for me. Until then!
