Updates! I AM working on the other stories I swear, but... life sucks sometimes...

Hope this update makes up for the delays!

The air was still as the creature stood almost happily in front of Kanda and Tyki, his arms clasped behind his back.

"M-Moya… sh-shi?" Kanda stammered once more, his eyes unable to believe the sight in front of him, Tyki just as stunned as he stared down at Lavi's crumpled form.

Kanda slammed into the wall by a yet unseen force, something else rushing past him resulting in another sickening crack. Turning, the cobalt eyes widened at the sight of Allen standing over Tyki, the elder's frail form toppled to the floor.

"Why would someone do something so stupid as to try and get rid of one my brothers?" a voice murmured as his foot dug into Tyki's stomach, "why would you give up that power?"

Nothing but gurgling emanated from his throat as something pressed harder into his abdomen.

"My God you're such a moron."

"M-moyashi-"

"Oh! Yes," Allen turned as if noticing Kanda for the first time that Kanda was there, "I'll be with you in a moment sweetie! Just have to finish up with the trash."

"No!"

Kanda stood, his hands reaching for the sword at his hip, his feet traveling faster than ever.

"Allen, snap out of it!"

The strike was never intended to kill, only shock the vampire to his senses. It was then unexpected when the hand reached to still the blade in mid-stroke, two fingers holding the weapon just above Allen's flesh.

"Can't you wait your turn?"

The voice was laced with danger and uncharacteristically soft, the eyes that turned towards him a cold and steely gold rather than the warm silver that was Allen.

"I told you, give me a minute and I'll deal with you," the creature turned towards him, "now piss off."

Kanda grunted as a foot caught his stomach, the kick sending him flying and slamming into the wall. Gingerly, the hunter pulled his body from the rubble that had fallen over him, his mind surprisingly still conscious.

A scream emanated from Lavi's room, the realness of the situation sinking in even deeper.

"I'm not losing you," the hunter muttered as he bolted down the stairs, the vials of blue antidote sitting teasingly on the counter.

"Oh here you are."

Kanda grunted as a body crashed into his, his surprised cobalt eyes looking up into mutated gold, the pupil becoming akin to a lizard's while the rest of Allen remained the same, save for the sickly sweet smile on his lips.

"Who-"

"That's a really stupid question," the thing told him matter-of-factly, "because you already know the answer."

Kanda was impressed with the strength in the arm that threw him to the ground, his body feeling the bruises form on his back and arms.

"See, I was going to finish off with those who killed my brother," the creature started talking smoothly, his feet pacing as Kanda struggled to stand, "but then I realized you weren't where I threw you, so I had to come all the way down here to get you and-WILL YOU STOP MOVING!?"

A foot caught Kanda's stomach, turning him over so that his eyes faced the stone ceiling.

"It's rather rude to move around when someone talks to you," it chastised, "now pay attention."

"AH!"

Teeth gnashed as Kanda bit back a scream, the thing above him enjoying his victory.

"Uh-Uh."

Kanda's hand was harshly stepped on, the test tube smashing between his fingers, glass crunching in his palm.

"No no," the thing smiled sweetly down at him, "you're not going to spoil my fun, not now… not ever."

Wood splintered beneath Allen's fist, his other hand dragging Kanda's body only to throw him to the basement Lavi and Kanda had confined him for a few months.

Kanda groaned as he forced his body to roll over, the effort in vain as what was surely a broken back and ribs caused pain to shoot up his body.

"You know," a voice started calmly, a shatter following his cheeriness, "I've been confused by you since day one," a second tube dropped to the ground, Kanda's head turning to see the thing approach him, his face looking at the test tube rack in his hand, each of Lavi's cures pulled out and dropped. "See," the creature continued, a third and fourth falling to the ground, "you hate us, yet you're part of us," more fell to the ground, "and you want to cure us… very… enigma-ish."

The wooden test tube rack clattered as the younger tossed it over his shoulder, his head tilted as he looked down at the elder struggling to remove his sword from his sheath once more.

"AH!"

Kanda gritted his teeth as a foot slammed into his hand, the bone crushed under the force.

"Oh this is going to be delicious!" the creature smiled, his body straddling the elder's, his arms crossed over Kanda's chest, his chin on his wrists, "you, being killed by the person you love," it giggled sweetly, "oh the irony."

"I'm not," Kanda growled through gritted teeth, "you're not moyashi-"

"Oh so you do love him!" hands clasped around the Japanese's cheeks, squishing them together and lifting the head off the ground, bringing their faces close, "that's wonderful."

Cobalt eyes squinted and his teeth gnashing together as his head slammed back to the stone tile, hands patting his chest.

"Aw come on!" Allen's voice encouraged, "keep fighting! It's more fun when you do!"

"Then get off me and play fair," Kanda grunted, the thing above him sent into a fit of giggles.

"Vampire," the thing murmured, "screw the rules!"

Kanda flinched as a sharp nail flicked over his cheek, the pink tongue flicking out to catch the drop that he drew from the elder's flesh, a small hum escaping the animal's lips.

"You know," the creature breathed, "of all the blood I've had, I like yours the best!"

The Japanese tried not to scream as fangs penetrated his flesh, the teeth surrounding his collarbone tightening its grip, resulting in a sickening crunch emanating from Kanda's shoulder, nails gripping the tops of Kanda's muscular arms.

"Moy-ash-i!"

There was nothing but soft hums slipping from Allen's lips as he drank deeply, the hands trying to push him off nothing more than a nuisance.

"Best thing about you," the thing gasped as it took deep breaths, lifting up from the wound, blood wiped from his lips, his eyes looking towards the already healing wound, "I can do whatever the Hell I want with little permanent damage. Well," his hands trailed to touch the tops of Kanda's pants, "one of the best things."

"H-ho-w-"

"How'd I know?" white hair tilted in mock thought, "I was awake… I saw what he saw… kinda like he is now."

The words stilled the elder from struggling, his eyes widening as he looked up at the vampire.

"Wh-Wha-"

"Oh Kanda," the animal crooned, "if only you could hear what he's saying," his finger stroked the other's cheek, "he wants me to spare you, to let you live, to stop hurting you," his lips pulled into a pout as he lowered them to the other's ear, the sickening sweet voice simpering, "but where's the fun in that?"

"M-Moyashi is-"

"He's very much awake," the other assured him, his hand splaying on his own chest, "he hears what I do, sees what I do, feels what I do," he smiled dangerously, "he's still alive, still struggling… rather adorably."

"YOU-"

"Shh," the finger touched Kanda's lips, "now now, you mustn't get angry, after all," his fingers ran over the smooth flesh of Allen's chest, "your love is still alive… in here… where I was…" his shoulders shuddered as he started to giggle. "Go ahead… kill me… and him," his hand gripped the blade pressing it to his throat, his smile victorious and so very much unlike Allen's.

"You… you-"

"You can't do it, can you," the other continued to laugh, "you're WEAK! You're PATHETIC!" his nose lowered back to Kanda's his face shadowing the other's, "but that's okay," his hand threw the blade to the far corner of the room, the cut on his hand trailing blood to the fingers that ran over Kanda's cheek. "You see… we like that… we want that," he tittered once more, "he wants you… so… do you want us?"

Kanda felt stunned as his hand was all but wrenched from its arm as the vampire covered it with his own, the palm of the hunter's touching the younger's chest, his eyes widening at the feeling of the drum beating under the other's skin.

"Having me means having Allen," the creature whispered, "I'll let you live, I'll sate him, and…" he giggled, "I'll even let you see him… once or twice." The flicker in Kanda's orbs told him he had won, his grin, if at all possible, widened further, "you'd like that, wouldn't you?" his head tilted, "ne? Kanda?"

Kanda felt his eyes widen as the gold appeared to melt into a sliver of silver, Allen seemingly looking out at him.

"Ne… Yuu?"

The thing within Allen lowered his nose to brush over the exposed neck, the lungs expanding deeply as the younger nuzzled Kanda, his eyes closed in seeming bliss. Pulling back, its eyes were almost gentle, pleased with their arrangement. His smile was almost kind, even up until Kanda deliberately spat in his face.

"Go to Hell."

The creature's face was impassive as it wiped away the spit on his cheek with the flick of his finger, his eye bored before his fist slammed into the other's cheek, the stone beneath Kanda's face crunching as the bone surely did.

"Tell you what," it muttered, "you go first, and then tell me how it goes."

"AH!"

Allen was relentless as his fist slammed into the elder, his nails scrapping at the pale flesh, teeth elongating as the creature began to feast on the victim below him. Clothes shred as the skin beneath it was broken by the long claws.

Kanda's fist slamming to the side of his head surprised him, the elder's adrenalin giving him enough strength to push the vampire off of him. Growling, the creature gave chase, its booted feet almost as quick as the hunter's, despite the elder having a good few inches on him in height.

"I'm impressed," the animal panted, his strike missing the long hair by inches as Kanda dove for his blade, now standing with it brandished in front of him, "more nimble than I thought you were…"

"Thought you were watching me through moyashi," Kanda muttered, his feet moving slowly around in a circle, his eyes boring into the gold.

"Most people who've had their back and collarbone broken don't move so well," the creature pointed out, "how about your spine? If I break that can you move?"

"You won't get a chance!?"

Allen's face twisted with a smirk as he stepped aside, his eyes watching the blade swing towards him.

"What are you going to do with that?" it simpered, "you might as well have a butter knife in your hand-"

Kanda's body was suddenly right next to the younger, his glaring eyes narrowing with the silver widened at the blade in his stomach.

"Heh… heh heh heh… HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

Kanda pushed the blade further into the taunt stomach, both hands pressing on the hilt while the creature laughed.

"THAT'S IT!?" it screamed, his eyes reflecting insanity as he towered over Kanda, "that's precious, but you can't kill me! Not like that!"

"Didn't… plan too," the elder gasped, his own lips pulling into a smirk much to the animal's confusion.

"I beg your-"

"Beg all you want," Kanda muttered, "you're finished."

"My my," the creature sighed, "you're just as stupid as Allen thinks…"

"And you're as oblivious as Moyashi."

"Stop spouting such non-"

A drop fell to the stone floor, the darkened blood mixed with the bright blue that Kanda had dipped his blade in, the colour attracting the animal.

Kanda's grip was strong on his hilt as the thing lunged towards him, it's hands wrapping around his throat as pure fear and anger filled his eyes, pushing him back to the floor, his mouth twisting into a snarl.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" the animal heaved, blood beginning to bubble at its lips, "YOU BASTARD! DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE!?"

"Killed you-"

"YOU BASTARD!" its body shook in fury, his eyes boring into Kanda's, a crazed smile pulling on his face, "fine… I'LL TAKE YOU WITH ME!"

Kanda coughed, pressure increasing on his trachea as nails dug into his pale flesh.

"Allen's gonna die with me," the creature's lip seemed to twitch, "so here," hands clasped tightly around Kanda's throat, "LET ME SEND YOU ALONG WITH HIM!"

"Not… h-him-" Kanda coughed, his hand gripping the wrist, "just… you-"

"Well fine then… if I'm going to die… YOU'RE GOING WITH ME!"

For once in his life, Kanda felt the need to survive, feeling the need to live. Drool slipped down Kanda's chin as he tried desperately to swallow, to breathe.

"I'm not going that easily," the animal hissed, "this isn't like Tyki, it won't affect me the same," one of his hands reached past Kanda, "but it might affect you."

Two fingers plunged back into the wound on Kanda's shoulder, the nails coated in blue as the blade was, a crazed glint in his eyes.

"This is gonna cause you so much pain," it growled, "half of me wants to let you live to see it. The other half-"

Something made the animal stop, Kanda's eyes opening to a shocked pair, the gold orbs quivering and the hands trembling.

"No…"

Mismatched hands clasped on the temples, their nails clawing into the scalp and his head turned to the cling.

"No… NO I'M NOT LEETING YOU WIN! NOT LIKE THIS!"

Kanda shuffled as the thing above him twitched, his screaming voice echoing in the stone cavern.

"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP! AHHHHHH!"

The elder tightened his teeth before he tried to pull his body up, his hand still clutching the hilt. The screams made his ears hurt and the nails in his scalp had blood running down Allen's face as he clutched his temples, the head tilted back.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Panting was the only thing that Kanda heard, his face impassive as the animal froze, his hands falling from his scalp, blood on his fingertips while the terrified face looked towards the elder he sat on, the demon disappearing as Allen was left in its wake, his shocked mercury eyes looking from the wound he had created in the elder to the dark cobalt eyes, sweat having beaded on Kanda's forehead as he tried to regain his breath.

"K-Kanda?"

Allen's eyes followed the lines of the other's body to trail up the arms to the hilt of the beautiful katana Kanda had embedded in his stomach, his blood dripping over the closed hand and intermingled with the odd blue antidote.

"Y-Yuu," the younger murmured, his lungs heaving as he coughed up a mixture of his and Kanda's blood, his pale lips curling into a small smile, his shaking fingers reaching out to touch the strong cheek while a tear slipped down his.

"Moyashi…"

"Th… Thank you," Allen whispered, his body wavering, worry crossing Kanda's face.

"Moyashi! Allen!"

"Thank you," the younger whispered once more, his vision going dark and his body collapsing on the other's, his hand falling limp beside him.

"No… NO!" Kanda tilted his head back as he shook the weak body, "LAVI! TYKI!? So-"

A cough cut off his words, his body feeling as though the blood had been drained from his body, his tongue tasting something foreign. Panicked, Kanda turned to look at the antidote the thing inside Allen had broken, the solution dripping down the stairs and through the cracks in the stone.

"No…" the elder whispered, his grip tightening on the form above him, darkness creeping in faster than he anticipated, his greatest failure becoming evident to him, "not now… not like this…"
